Twitter, seriously you need a PLAN B.

I am a heavy Twitter user, having 2,400-ish followers to my account. Few days ago, My account has been locked thanks to Twitter’s ‘unhuman behaviour detection system’. How bullshit it was, actually what I’ve asked for the help to Twitter Support is just checking why my account has 2000-ish tweets after a mechanical cleanse via cleaner website, but they simply just locked after they found the cleanse was unhuman. Okay, I would take it. No problem then.

But, to prove that the twitter’s activities were not unhuman, I need to verify the account belongs to me still by phone verification - and it is THE ONLY OPTION to unlock the account. Got it, I can do that. I have a phone working well and fine, so I typed my numbers to the required field.

Then it is fucked up. Simply saying “Technical Issues” and something wrong. No fucking other way around. Are you fucking serious? It is my account and I’ve done nothing wrong but you have taken this account away from me! No matter it is permanent nor temporary, I can’t use it whenever I want. Also, as your stupid detection system caught my account so sudden, I will think my twitter account could be locked up anytime and I can’t use the service from then.

This is no good at all, seriously. Twitter, listen. I am already trying to find out any alternative platform to write down my thoughts. Of course, you see it is Tumblr at this moment. It was only a supplement platform to twitter for me as I need somewhere to store the long stories that couldn’t be written within 140 characters limit - now what I am thinking is, as I have never experienced such sudden lock-up with tumblr, so I may use Tumblr as the first and put twitter for the second.

When you made the only option to verify the account via phone, MAKING IT PERFECT is only option to you as well, twitter. Otherwise, the users will be leaving your service. Because you are hassling them with the only one, broken back-up plan, people will get tired of your stupid service. The more suffered by the sudden lock-up by stupid unhuman behavious detection system, the less users remain at the end.

Remember Twitter, YOU NEED A PLAN B... SERIOUSLY.
