The biggest trap of writing a story about two men in love: how do I resist the urge to make it tragic lmao, because I am aware that in one way or another life eventually goes to shit, for everyone. That's kinda the main thing about life xD I would make it funny though I often think of the coen brothers' movies, I love them sm, they do a great job at mixing comedy/absurdity with tragedy. The lights of the bamboo house were still lit even at this hour and the doors cracked to allow the summer night wind to blow through, but that was no guarantee Ming Fan was still awake. Luo Binghe’s hands gripped tighter around the medicine chest he’d received earlier from a Qian Cao disciple. Ming Fan had been difficult when they’d both been disciples, and was now doubly so now. It could have been easily blamed on his unstable cultivation, but Luo Binghe feared it was something else. Even at the door, the uneasiness made him hesitate. Lamplight striped gold across his face as he gazed through the cracked door. Ming Fan sat by one of the lamps, looking unnervingly fragile, staring tiredly at the moths fluttering around the golden glow. As if in a trance, his hand rose and softly closed around one of the creatures. He brought it close to his face and examined it between the cage of his fingers. “All you want is warmth and light,” Luo Binghe heard him murmur, “but it’s so easy for you to burn, isn’t it? To destroy yourself over something you could get even from a distance.” A tired laugh and those thin fingers released the moth to flutter back to the lamp. “Foolish.”

the last couple months I've felt so disconnected from my kins, only sometimes feeling shifty and I've felt like I wasn't an otherkin anymore, but I felt the sun and warmth again and I was like Oh. It was just the seasonal depression! I always feel super disconnected from myself during the winter months, and sleepy and just plain hollow, but in the warmer months I feel much more alive and feel real and my kintypes feel more connected. So if any other my otherkin friends are worried about feeling disconnected from their kins for any reason, but especially because of the seasons, you're okay, it's gonna get better👍🏽🐻🐺🐶🐈‍⬛🐾

I've been debating whether Izren would turn on Rook in the final fight purely for the sake of getting the Veil down to restore the titans, and honestly? No, I don't think he would. He doesn't need to. As long as he has the red lyrium dagger or the Wolf's Fang — preferably both — he can enact his own plan later. He doesn't need Solas. In fact, he'd just put himself in a stickier position fighting Rook so Solas can bring down the Veil, then having to turn around and fight Solas so he can't move the titans to a new prison. It suits him better to have Solas handled and to buy himself time to set his own plan in motion.
