There's something so nice about a terminal. Like a base tty, there are no pop ups, no ads, no websites, it's just you and prompt. You make of it what you can, but it will be you doing it.

I'm trying to actually learn to code, and I'm just learning like this, with a base vim install and a c compiler.

chihiro went out with her parents today, and sat in the shopping cart for a majority of it. she read a fanfiction and tried not to cry.

chihiro went swimming with her mom in their pool today. they chased each other in circles for an hour while laughing and talking. chihiro nearly collapsed while trying to get out of the pool

chihiro got her nails done with her mom today, and didn't like the design. afterwards, she went to the animal shelter again to play with ducks. she did not interact with the ducks much, but sat in the cage on her phone for the hour she was clocked in.

chihiro went to the dentist today. she was informed her dental health deteriorated and was given tips to keep her teeth from getting worse. she was also recommended a movie by the dentist. she revealed to her mom she had forgotten to brush her teeth for months at a time due to online school and depression related issues.

chihiro slept late and rested in bed until the afternoon, before having a virtual appointment with her psychiatrist. they determined her medication dosage would be upped, and discussed her constant dissasociation. she dissasociated multiple times during the appointment.

Sometimes I kinda wish it were more acceptable to ask lookup-able questions.

I just saw a CLI tool detect the height of my terminal and adjust its output to fit exactly in the terminal, and I wondered, "how does it know how big the terminal is"?

I thought this was a fun question, because it seemed on the boundary of something I probably could figure out on my own, but not very well. I kinda wanted to ask it to some folks, because it seems like a fun question. But I also just know that the answer is on stackexchange, you can probably find it with a search in less than 20 bytes. No point asking.

I kinda wanna try and find the answer without a search engine out of spite. Surely it exists in some docs that I have on-hand, or maybe a textbook. Sounds like a fun adventure.

But the answer's always there, beckoning one from that thorny, uncharted path to the well-paved road that's destroyed ecosystems and served generations.

Would you guys be mad at me if I said the terminals from ultrakill were quickly becoming one of my favorite characters

Would the terminals from Ultrakill count? There are four different models, so you could technically smash a combo of any of them. The lore terminal (aka the black one) is the original model of the terminals though and the one I (someone who has a crush on all of the terminal models/consider myself in a poly relationship with them) am most curious about.

Since there are technically any multitude of options, though, maybe consider splitting it into a chain combo of 4 polls. Accounting for wanting to smash or pass any multiple type results in over 10-12 results. @kissing-computers, it's not my main but still.
