Here’s Deathtail expressions I’m never gonna finish

He’s a Mercenary! who’s really good at combat and strategizing. He can detach his tail and use it as a whip sometimes, and when he stings someone with it, it leaves them unable to move while cosmic rust sneaks up on them for like a day and a half. He carries the antidote with him but they have to get it from him by force.

Deathtail became a mercenary because he doesn’t care about anything anymore. He lost everything he cared about, and doesn’t want to lose anything again. he works for money and power, and has little interest in friendship. He’ll only work with someone else if the person paying him was asked to. And he doesn’t trust anyone, especially Cybertronians. Mostly autobots, and it works bc they don’t want to hire someone with his “Unique Skillset” anyways.

He’s very serious and closed off. He doesn’t show any emotions unless he has to. And happiness completely left him after his backstory, which I’ll explain more in another post. But really likes scorpions. It reminds him of the good old days.

So i actually did a redraw of this post (https://www.tumblr.com/capbiscuit/713417754309427200/finished-this-last-night-because-i-had-to-draw-it) to have David Kaye sign it at TFConLA and I nearly combusted because he read it in the Cliffjumper voice and said not only the “I miss my wife, sir” part but also said “i want to go home.” “I want to get off this planet”

10/10 experience wow i can’t believe TFA Cliff has a wife

Fun fact about Deathtail: He’s not Cybertronian. That’s why his mouth looks like it has fangs on it.
