Do you ever think about how season 4 of BBC Sherlock came out 8 years ago or are you normal?

me and & @queerholmcs showing up to the london aquarium surrounded by dozens of families admiring the fish and being so incredibly unaware of the herstory that happened in these very walls

I know what I think but I’m curious about the general consensus. Also this is the BEST episode not your FAVORITE episode (yes they can be different).

Ps. I didn’t include the Abominable Bride because it’s not really canon and feels like a separate thing to me.

Who is he even addressing in this scene? Smallwood signed the order, Sir Edwin was involved in having the videos edited and Norbury isn't even allowed to take notes so what's the point? Besides impressing Sherlock I suppose, which is not working.

I just want to mention how obvious Dimmock is of a mirror to John.

I'm not even going to talk about how the two of them basically look like replicates of each other:

I'm also not going to talk about how Dimmock‘s attitude toward Sherlock had changed DRASTICALLY (from the annoyance of being bossed around to steadfast loyalty) by the end of the episode:

But rather there is one shot that was framed very interestingly where Sherlock is talking to Dimmock, but instead of focusing on the inspector, he was distinctly cut OUT of the frame, while John was placed directly in front of the camera, talking up half of the screen with the focus on the MIRROR reflection of Sherlock in the back talking to said inspector:

Could this shed another light on Dimmock‘s surprising reappearance in tst except for the apparent repetitive cases?

Absolutely no idea.

was re-watching the six thatchers and found it funny how many camera angles they had of sherlock walking through that glass tunnel in the aquarium to make it seem like it took several long moments to get all the way through when in reality that section is like. maybe six feet long maximum and takes maybe 3 seconds
