As can be seen in a story background illustration, Minori's family owns a Nintendo Switch.

The first section of gameplay shown in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Sekai Game Day video is recorded from her console. This also confirms that she owns the game Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics.

Since Minori sets up a lobby using local play, this also means the other members of MMJ own Nintendo Switch consoles and Clubhouse Games. This is further confirmed by the daifugo gameplay being recorded from Haruka's console.

Having just enough context from the way Stanley will flirt with a man striking a close resemblance to himself in front of tourists. Mabel’s glitter-glue covered hands clutching onto Dipper’s sweaty ones as she teases him about the terrible first, second, third, fourth — Alright Mabel, I get it! I don’t have much experience with girls. You’re my sister and I only want you. — passing by random people who aren’t quite sure what exactly they just heard. Campers trying to sleep at night but can’t because they believe some sort of creature is out in the woods. They’d normally be right, but tonight it’s just Ford snarling like a feral dog trying to chew Stanley up. Teenagers trying to shoot their shot with Mabel. Only to find her hours later making out with another teen in the distance… didn’t she say that was her brother? And he’s looking right in their direction… making sure his claim is known.

Someone tries to bring it up the sheriffs that there’s something weird going on in that shack. They laugh. As if it’s normal.

Anyway, I used Ren'Py! If you want to look at the code for it, then if you download it, everything should be easily accessible as .txt files in the "game" folder. I also credited the code I based the dialogue box on at the end/in the info section of the game. The game basically runs in NVL mode, but the NVL box is inside a viewport (the scroll you see). I was heavily riffing off of Disco Elysium's format, since something like that worked best for the half-NVL half-ADV style I wanted.

oh last thought. i'm too lazy to go get my other post and reblog it again. but. appreciate john's very brief cut-off moment of seeing arthur's shoulder after the lantern monster and going "woah wait how the fuck did you just sit there and let it cook you. arthur. what the fuck. actually."

AND. on a broader level. i am rotatinnnggg the way that john does not have a physical dark world body (which they explicitly comment on!!) and so is once again using arthur as a meat shield. letting him take the brunt of this godawful landscape's punishments and being relegated to just watching and guiding him around. which is in direct contrast to whatever happened to him last time he was here. whether he was perpetrator or victim, he is removed from it now in a way he wasn't before. because arthur is here to shield him from it. mmmm i'm eating it UP thank you
