i dont know why i previously saw that assad was trying to punch sam in this image while sam held his wrist (i thought they were trying to recreate how armand feels about lestat), because upon closer inspection, i just realized that assad is trying to touch sam's face while sam holds his hand. which means i was kind of right in my first inference, and also this is literally the armandstat experience. in fact, this whole picture is the perfect loumandstat experience because you have jacob and sam succeeding at making a heart, jacob and assad failing at making a heart, and sam and assad with whatever it is they have going on. yep, sounds about right
