NHL Captains & Alternates Primer/Refresher
All teams per the NHL Rule book (Rule 6, pg 7-8) must list either One (1) Captain and Two (2) Alternate Captains or Three (3) Alternate Captains during the game line-up submissions*. There may only be Three (3) Alternates if the Captain is not in uniform or if there is no designated Captain. No Coach, Manager or Goaltenders are allowed to act as a Captain or Alternate; Goaltenders are not allowed to act as captains due to (un)intentional delay of game as per the "Durnan Rule". They must wear either a "C" or "A" about three inches (3") high and of a contrasting color in a visible spot on the front of their jerseys. Only the Captain [ or any one (1) Alternate, if the Captain is not on the ice] is allowed, if invited by a referee, to discuss interpretations of the rules**. They may not leave the bench to protest or hinder any officials in light of a call on the ice, and are subject to being given a penalty (Abuse of Officials: unsportsmanlike conduct).
Notes:
(*) Some teams have named more than the regulation two (2) or three (3) alternates and are required to rotate the designation between players. The method of choosing who gets the designation when is left to team digression.
(**) Complaints about penalties are not considered 'a discussion pertaining to the interpretations of the rules', and any skater making such complaints are subject to a minor penalty in response.

Helena Bonham Carter will be making a cameo appearance in the British remake of 'Call My Agent!' "Amazon Prime Video has locked UK and Ireland rights to the forthcoming British remake of hit French series Call My Agent! As Deadline revealed John Morton (W1A) is writing and directing the first two episodes and executive producing the series, which will star Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Maggie Steed Prasanna Puwanarajah, Jim Broadbent, and more. Today, Kelly Macdonald, Helena Bonham Carter and Olivia Williams have been confirmed as joining the cast for cameo appearances. Filming is now underway in London. The original series, which was broadcast on French network France 2 and found global success on Netflix, chronicled how a Parisian talent agency’s employees must scramble to keep their star clients happy and their business afloat after the sudden death of their founder. The remake’s Anglicisations will include a greater focus on Transatlantic industry relationships, and include nods to Brit obsessions such as the class system. “It’s great to be working with Amazon Prime Video who support creativity and gives us the freedom to put our own distinctively British stamp on the series,” said John Morton. “It’s a privilege to be working with an extraordinary cast, along with some star-studded cameos, who together represent the best of Britain’s talent.” “Call My Agent! has been a runaway hit; we’re delighted to have worked hand in hand with the creative teams behind the show to bring a uniquely British slant for Prime Video members in the UK and Ireland,” said Martin Backlund, Head of Content, UK, Ireland and Nordics at Prime Video. “The incredible ensemble cast, coupled with the talented team behind the cameras, means it’s sure to be something special, and we’re looking forward to seeing how our customers respond.” Executive Producers are David Davoli, Samantha Thomas, Steven Thibault, and Aaron L. Gilbert for Bron Studios, Christian Baute, Frank Calderon, and Laurence Lenica for Headline Pictures, and David Tanner from Turbine Studios. Sarah Curtis is a producer and Ben Rimmer is a co-producer, with BRON’s Emma Fleischer on as supervising producer. Call My Agent! original producers, Aurélien Larger and Harold Valentin of Mother Productions, and Dominique Besnehard and Michel Feller of Mon Voisin Productions, are also executive producers. Bron Studios is producing and co-financing. Headline Pictures is co-producing."

Swedish Sports Brand Puts Same-Sex Marriage on the Blockchain
In a strike for equality and freedom, in a world where same sex marriages are forbidden in most countries, Swedish sports fashion label Björn Borg has unveiled Marriage Unblocked – a digital platform where same-sex couples can exchange vows and get married on the blockchain
“We believe that sport is love and love is equal. The first basic right is to love whomever you want,” said Jonas Lindberg…

James Reiher Snuka (born James Wiley Smith; 1943 – 2017), was a professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. He was born in the British colony of Fiji to Louisa Smith and Charles Thomas. Thomas was married to another woman, and Smith was engaged to Bernard Reiher. Before Snuka was born, his mother married Reiher. As a child, Snuka moved with his family to the Marshall Islands and then to Hawaii. He was active in amateur bodybuilding in Hawaii in the 1960s and enjoyed some success as a professional bodybuilder, earning the titles of Mr. Hawaii, Mr. Waikiki and Mr. North Shore. He married Sharon Snuka in 1964, eventually fathering four children: Sarona (WWE wrestler Tamina), James, Jr. (WWE wrestler Deuce), Liana, and Ata. Snuka opted to go into the more lucrative career of professional wrestling due to the uncertainty of his making a living in bodybuilding. While working at Dean Ho’s gym in Hawaii, Snuka met many of the wrestlers who worked in the South Pacific region and decided to try the business. Snuka made his debut as Jimmy Kealoha fighting Maxwell “Bunny” Butler in Hawaii in 1970. He later moved to the mainland and wrestled for Don Owen’s NWA Pacific Northwest territory where he held the belt as heavyweight champion six times. Snuka also wrestled in several other National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) regions, including Texas. In 1977, he won both the Texas heavyweight and tag team titles. In January 1982, Snuka entered the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as a villainous character under the guidance of Captain Lou Albano. Snuka lost several title shots at WWF champion Bob Backlund, including a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden on June 28, 1982, in which Snuka leapt from the top of the cage, and onto Backlund who managed to escape the cage for the win just seconds prior. The contest was declared Match of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Even though Snuka portrayed a heel, he won fans over because of his exciting, athletic style. #destroytheday https://www.instagram.com/p/CDOtsp6BmF2/?igshid=1ihu8z1dts8z4
