Detox. Declutter. Dismantle. I describe the feeling as if having taken down the shallow, unstable shelves and replaced them with wider ones. Knowing how much oscillation it would take before my glass jars would fall over the edge is a safety unknown to me. My new space enlighten the alternatives and I start to recognize what I can do to come closer, how to marinate once again in the intimacy with what arrives. Today I have to wait for the words as if they’re a cautious deer silently sneaking forward across a field, afraid of what might spot her out in the open; but I plan for solitude and rest, my sundays are wrapped in natural linen and bathed in assam tea with oat milk.The dismantling part of this is a gentle undressing of the other beholder- the feeling of being witnessed by others. The detoxing is remembering what internal health means. The decluttering is removing all distractions.
