Pokémon Reborn Screenshot Let's Play: Chapter 8
Tumblr media
Hello hello, and welcome to 2024 everyone! The world is strange and still chaotic, but one of the many constants in this life (or, I should say, my life) is Pokémon! And if you’re here for this next installment, then chances are it’s at least some sort of constant in your life too! But after the excitement of the last chapter, it’s time to wind down at least a little bit and move on to some new plot developments!
In addition, it has been brought to my attention that my game might be at least somewhat…bugged. You might have noticed that, in the few screenshots featuring the Pokémon’s moves, some of them have missing type icons. This hasn’t been that big of a deal, I mean knowing the typings of moves is more or less second nature to me. But I was also informed that- well, remember how I talked about the layout of the Field Notes app and how I thought it was confusing? Turns out, it’s not supposed to look like that- there’s supposed to be more text, but on my game some of it is just…missing, I guess.
This also isn’t that debilitating, and as far as I can tell it’s only some of the move type icons and the Field Notes text that are glitched, doesn’t seem like the UI is messed up anywhere else. So, I’m gonna keep trucking along even with those bugs, I can handle it; if it gets worse, like really worse, then I’ll consider more drastic measures to see if it can be fixed. Maybe this can be like a form of challenge playthrough. Nuzlockes? Monotypes? Forget all of that, bugged UI run is where it’s at!
But before we see the new stuff, how about we go over those other developments, hm?
In preparation to take on Julia’s Gym, we went out to catch some leftover event Pokémon, starting with Bloom the Budew thanks to the Rose Incense.
We catch Twig the Bidoof in order to evolve it into Bibarel for a trade with the one Street Rat, but are interrupted when we walk by Dr. Pharmacist again, now with a much shorter line to contend with.
A thug steals Dr. Pharmacist’s remaining painkillers, and since he cannot leave his last patient unattended, he asks Xera to go chase him down.
While searching for the thief, Xera runs into a pair of Team Meteor Grunts plotting to “liberate” someone’s Pokémon (something to be dealt with later).
Xera manages to find the thief and defeats him in a battle, forcing him to return the stolen goods. Dr. Pharmacist commends Xera for her work and fortitude, finally introducing himself as Corey.
Twig is evolved into a Bibarel, which we trade with the guy to obtain Shimmer the Munna.
Xera also catches Crescent the Teddiursa- the same Teddiursa that had been fleeing from her since she first arrived in Peridot Ward.
In a house to the north, Xera defeats the two Meteor Grunts from earlier, who were attempting to steal a woman’s Igglybuff. Concerned over whether the Grunts would return, the woman gives Igglybuff to Xera so she can protect it, and thus we obtain Kirby the Igglybuff.
Behind the Electric Gym, we find a present that an old man had misplaced. As thanks, he ensures that Xera will be “showered in presents” in return, and he gives her Claus the Delibird.
After giving a bit more money to one guy, Xera is able to access a house in an alley, where she finds an abandoned Minccino; we catch it and name her Trim.
That night, Xera goes into an apartment building having a power outage due to a Pokémon sucking up the electricity. This Pokémon is none other than a Grubbin, which we catch and name Prong.
With the party all filled out and trained (including Bloom evolving into Roselia, respectively), Xera steps into the Electric Gym for the first time. She defeats the Trainers within and solves the puzzle (read: she blows up a bunch of gates with Voltorbs), gaining access to Julia’s room.
Before challenging Julia, we head back north to pay the Magikarp thief those 500 Pokémon Dollars for the Pokémon’s return. Predictably, he does not uphold his end of the bargain, revealing he and the salesman were actually in cahoots to scam Trainers.
Xera defeats the two in a battle, but it’s revealed the thief can’t give back the Magikarp- because it was stolen from him for real, by a pickpocket who fled to Obsidia Ward. Something else to be solved later.
With some final training (including Riptide evolving into Croconaw), we return to the Gym to actually challenge the Gym Leader.
Julia engages Xera in her first Gym Battle in Reborn. After a lengthy and tense battle charged by Electric Terrain, Xera emerges victorious and earns the first Badge of the Reborn League: the Volt Badge.
Outside, Xera encounters Victoria. After congratulating Xera on her win, Victoria mentions the situation in Obsidia Ward regarding the plants apparently growing out of control. She wishes to go there and help, and suggests Xera do the same.
So that’s what we’re gonna be up to now! All signs point towards Obsidia Ward being the next destination, and I for one am excited. Finally, we’ll get to see some new sights and characters after spending so long in Peridot Ward! Will this go well? Will it go wrong? What kinds of new Pokémon will we encounter, wild encounters or static/event ones? And most important of all…will we be able to spend even more time with Victoria? We’ll have to see!

Hiya! How about Peridot, Coral, Iolite, and Labradorite with Lust?
Thank you so much @hedone26! I never had a chance to talk about my Lust, but now I can so here we go! 🥰 🥰 🥰
Peridot: How did you and your F/O meet, and what were your first impressions of each other?
We met in a coffee shop at Central City where a lot of suspicious activity was going on. Apparently, Lust was the one causing all the trouble since a lot of soldiers from the Central Capital were after her and posted wanted pictures all over the city. However, she was clever enough to disguise herself with a different colored wig and a gorgeous tan fur jacket that perfectly showed her voluptuous outline.
Obviously, I was entranced by the way she pursed her soft lips and looked out the window, and never paying any heed to me. Lust was fixated on something else, and she was probably looking for someone in the crowd to help her with something called a "Philosophers Stone". She looked very frustrated, and of course I wanted to ask her what was wrong, and she coldly stated she wanted nothing to do with me. She looked like she needed space, so I gave her a smile and did that despite being dejected from her harsh words.
Later on that same day, she saw me in battle against a bunch of thugs and realized I would be particularly useful in her quest for the philosophers stone. I'm nicknamed, "The Crystal Alchemist" for a very good reason since I could create many weapons, power enhancements, and armor from the gemstone crystals I kept on hand. Lust then decided I would be a great resource for finding a Philosophers Stone. Then kept me "hostage" and refused to let me escape lest she killed me. She never had the guts to do so, but I appreciated her enthusiasm for keeping me all these years! Haha!
In a sense, I think Lust thought of me at first as a "bother" or a "nuisance" because I actually tried talking to (and flirted a bit) with her to see if she returned the feelings. As for me, I first thought Lust was so pretty, and I obviously wanted to ask her out on a date. However, a part of me was so damn shy at the time. As we slowly learned to understand each other, Lust realized I was a lot more intelligent and logical than she thought, and she got attracted to my sharp mind. I realized that Lust was a lot more motherly and compassionate towards me once she saw how vulnerable I was emotionally and mentally at times. She learned not to judge my emotional outbursts, but instead take me in her arms and just let me cry it out if I needed to.
Coral: Have you and your F/O changed much since meeting each other? If so, how would you say you have each changed?
We have definitely changed for the better actually! Lust has a bit more softness and kindness in her heart for me. As for me, I'm becoming less overemotional and more focused on thinking critically for the both of us. Despite our differences, we make a powerful team regardless. I'm like the public face for our relationship, while she is the brains of the operation. Together, we could have definitely taken over the world if Father wasn't already doing that.
Iolite: What kind of things have you gone through with your F/O? What has been the most difficult?
The most difficult thing I could have gone through was watching my beautiful Lust die. After I saw her being murdered by Colonel Mustang, I accepted my fate as an exile and refused to give in to the state alchemists who tried to arrest me. I made a quick escape before they could handcuff me, and I was on the run ever since.
It's a hard life, I know, but I'd rather live a quiet life rather than a lifetime of miserable imprisonment as an enemy of the state. I never really acted out or looked for a philosophers stone ever since. I know that my time will come when I will die. At The Gate, I know my beautiful Lust will look at me with the warmest smile on her face. I know I'll come running into her arms, and we'll soon be reunited in the afterlife.
Labradorite: What do you think the future holds for you and your F/O? Do you have any particular plans?
Like I said, there's not really a future for both of us. We both know we'll either get a lifetime of imprisonment, or we'll die on our quest to obtain the Philosophers Stone. Plus, it's forbidden for a homunculus to fall in love with a human. So we make the best of it by living out our lives as carefully yet spontaneously as possible. I'll always remember those nights where her arms felt so warm and human-like, despite being a homunculus. I'll remember those heated times where she blew my mind and took my breath away in our throes of sexual passion. I'll never forget the way she sensually put her body on top of mine and rubbed my most sensitive spots all over.
But most of all, I'll never forget the way she treated me after she knew that either of us was going to die. She held me close, massaged my scalp, and talked with me about various subjects. I knew she didn't want to think about it, but she knew that our last trip to the Central Capital would definitely be our last as a couple. I only knew that eventually, we would be reunited somehow despite our fates. Much like fated lovers being tragically separated, eventually we'll get our happy ending in the afterlife. 🖤💖

Tumblr media
Lonesome she sat on the edge of the marble fountain, her shaking hands rested in her lap, comforted by the warm fabric of the dress she wore. Her head sat just below her shoulders, as tears had begun to form in her eyes.
The lonesome woman, ( y/n ), had a history with this fountain. She had remembered the first day it began working.
She was a poor teenager, walking up and down the sidewalks for any coin she could find, many purse or wallet she could snatch to grab a few banknotes and give them to her family. Though a petty thief, her heart was in the right place.
That day it was no different. The young thief watched a young brunette many years older than her. By his clothes alone, she knew he was pretty well off. Without another thought, she had rushed out in front of him, tripping over her own feet to fall before his.
She had done it many times before. No one could ignore a poor maiden who had fallen, neither could the brunette. He helped her up and asked if she was okay. She had answered yes and hugging him for helping her, allowing her to slip her hand into his pocket and pull out a leather wallet, and hiding it up the sleep of her dress, before leaving.
But she was not in the clear, a bystander had watched the whole thing.
Before the young thief could get away, the bystander had spoken up, alerting the young man that ( y/n ) had reached into his back pocket and stolen his wallet.
Even before the bystander had finished their statement, she had run, being followed closely behind by the man she had robbed. But she was not fast enough and he had caught up, slamming her much smaller frame against a brick wall, almost knocking the wind out of her. She begged for forgiveness in small barely audible whimpers, as he screamed in her face.
Meters away from them stood a tall blonde with green eyes. On either side of his face, were purple birthmarks that vaguely resembled triangles. She’ll never forget the first words out of his mouth.
“Never put your hands a woman.”
The man didn’t need to be told twice, quickly dropping ( y/n ) to the hard concrete ground, and running away in fear. As he stepped further into the light, she had recognized him.
Caesar Zeppeli from Naples. The blonde-haired thug and the prettiest peridot-colored eyes. Widely feared, because he committed every crime imaginable short of murder.
She stared into his peridot-colored eyes, shaking uncontrollably as he approached her, putting out his hand for her to take. She looked down at his rather large hand, before slowly up his arm and torso up to his face. He had fully come into the light.
He was breathtakingly beautiful.
Not only had his face softened but his voice did as well, sending chills down her spine. She simply stared at his hand, hoping he would take the hint that she truly feared him just as anyone else had. And he did take the hint, as he retracted his hand back to his side and left her on the concrete, bidding her a farewell and hope that they will meet once more on better terms.
And they had. Days later, she sat on the edge of the same fountain and she had seen his head of blonde hair walking down the sidewalk on the opposite side of her. Her face began to burn up as his eyes met her unintentionally. Instead of looking away, she kept her eyes on him.
His feet changed course, now approaching her. Though fear welled inside of her, she stayed put, wanting to give him a chance. The only thought in her mind being that he wouldn’t harm her because she was a woman and because he had saved her days prior.
Bringing her out of her thoughts, the blonde took her hand into his own, kissing it gently, “We meet again, mia cara.”
( y/n ), like several other women, became easily swooned by Caesar. He had it all, the looks, the charms, the personality. He was everything a woman could want and more. Yet he focused most of his attention a petty thief.
Always having to see her face each night before he retired to his bed. Always needing to hear her soothing voice say his name or bid him a good night and sweet dreams. She had become the only woman he could think about. No, the only person he could think about. With her, he knew he could tell her anything and she would listen and be completely honest with her.
Alongside the death of his father, ( y/n ) was a driving reason why he had left behind his criminal past for something better.
The night before he left for Venice, he met with her at the marble fountain, where he had confessed his eternal love for her and asked her to come with him so they would never have to be without each other. Without another thought, she accepted both his love confession and his invitation to come with him to Rome.
Along the way, she had learned of the weird power that Caesar had, Hamon. She learned more about it from the woman the two had met in Venice.
Lisa Lisa.
As Caesar began training under Lisa Lisa, ( y/n ) worried for him. She worried that something would happen to him and she would lose him. She couldn’t just stick around and watch him die any day now, she had returned to Naples, being followed by the blonde.
There they stood at the fountain once again. Their special fountain, as Caesar called it.
There he tried his best to reassure her that nothing would happen to him and he had promised that he would return to her in due time. The couple had spent one last night together before the blonde had returned to Rome the next morning without her. But she held onto her hope and waited for him in Naples.
Each day she sat on the edge of their marble fountain, hoping that today would be the day that he would come back to her, hold her and tell her that he loves her.
He never came back to her.
He never came home.
But it never crossed her mind of his fate until a slender woman had approached her. Lisa Lisa. She sat next to her on the fountain, sorrow in her eyes. Why wasn’t Caesar with her? Why did she come alone?
She didn’t have to say a word.
“But...but he promised me. HE PROMISED! WHY DIDN’T YOU SAVE HIM?!”
She cried his name as loud as she could until her voice went hoarse.
No...he couldn’t be dead. This was a nightmare that should wake up from. But she was awake. He was gone, he wasn’t coming back to her, he couldn’t keep his promise that he made to her.
His funeral was even harder for her, barely anyone had shown. She barely talked to the others there, only wanting to be dead alongside the man she had loved with all of her heart. She silently cried until she couldn’t anymore, no longer having a voice to scream his name.
( y/n ) was broken and just about anyone could see that.
She didn’t want to be comforted. She didn’t want empty apologies and condolences, she wanted the love of her life back and none of them could give her that.
Days at a time, she would cry at the fountain, hoping that her Caesar heard her cries for him. She swore sometimes she could feel a cold wind brush past her when she called out for him.
There she promised him that she would never open her heart for another.
But that was a promise she could not keep many months later.
“Mamma!”
The lonesome woman picked her head up, looking to her right to see a small boy no older than 8 years old with a head of blonde hair and peridot-colored eyes that reminded her of him. On the left side of his side, he had a small oddly colored birthmark that looked similar to Caesar’s.
In the boy’s left hand were a bouquet of sunflowers wrapped neatly with an orange bow. Caesar’s favorites.
A small smile formed on ( y/n )’s face, as she looked at the boy.
( s/n ), her son, the last thing she had of Caesar. The small blonde child, ran over to his mother, hugging her tightly, “Mamma, you promised you wouldn’t cry.”
“I know, I know. It’s...it’s just hard.”
“You always cry on Papa’s birthday,” The young boy mentioned, wiping away the stray tears from his mother’s face with his free hand, “Do we need to stop for a second or can we go to Papa’s grave now?”
She pressed a gentle kiss to her son’s forehead, standing up, “We can go now. I’ve been meaning to speak to Caesar.” The young boy took his mother’s shaking hand into his own, hoping to calm her. He looked up at her, with those peridot eyes of his, giving her a sense of comfort.
The young boy and his mother walked to the nearby graveyard, stopping in front of a familiar grave.
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli, the stone read.
Silence sounded between the mother and son, unsure of what to say now. ( s/n ) had slowly let go of his mother’s hand, stepping closer to his father’s grave, placing the bouquet of sunflowers on top of it, “Papa, Mamma and I doing okay. It just lonely sometimes and she still feels sad that you’re gone but I do my best to comfort her and protect her just like you used to. I sometimes feel sad that I never got to meet you and I won’t get to grow up with you but then I remember all the cool stories Uncle Jojo told me about you and your cool power! And Uncle Jojo told me that you saved him and I want to grow up to be just like you.”
The young boy sat next to the stone, continuing to talk while his mother had watched in both admiration and sadness. Her heart ached at the sight. That thought running through her head, ‘I should have stopped him that night. He would still be here if I would have stopped him!’
“Mamma!”
The woman was shaken out of her thoughts, she looked to her smiling son, “Yes, ( s/n )?”
“You said you wanted to talk to Papa so I’m going to give you guys some alone time. If you need me, I’ll be at the entrance.”
The woman nodded, as the boy climbed back up to his feet bidding the stone a goodbye, “I’ll see you soon, Papa. I love you. Wait for me and Mamma, okay?” The boy skipped toward the entrance of the graveyard, leaving his mother and the stone.
She kneeled before the grave, putting her hands on her knees, “Caesar...I know I come and say the same thing every year but...I miss you, now more than ever. Having ( s/n ) in the house, it’s like seeing a small young. He looks so much like you. Lisa Lisa said that he looks so much like you because I missed you so much while I was pregnant. I’m not sure if I believe that. I know I’ve asked you all these years now for a sign to show me that you are here and that you are listening but I need to know if you are really still there.”
She was met with silence, a sad expression formed on her face as her head slowly began to fall but she stopped seeing something out of the corner of her eye.
A lonesome bubble.
She looked around to see if there was anyone around blowing bubbles, but there was no one. She looked back to the bubble, watching it float just above Caesar’s grave.
The sign.
A cool breeze flew past her, taking the bubble away. She climbed back to her feet, following the lonesome bubble. ( s/n ) watched his mother follow the bubble in confusion, “Mamma, what are you―” The boy stopped as his eyes widened seeing a tall translucent figure with a head of blonde hair just like his, following behind his mother. Wrapped around the figure’s head was a familiar thin headband, giving the young boy a sense of familiarity.
He rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing correctly, opening them once more to see the figure was now gone. “Am I seeing things?”
His mother on the other hand had still followed the bubble, back to the marble fountain. She reached up to touch the bubble, feeling another cool breeze pass her by, this time she felt something wrap around her.
“Are you there, Caesar?”
Though she could not see, there before her was the spirit of the man she had loved with all of her heart. One of his arms was wrapped around her waist, his free hand was in her hand that had reached to touch the bubble.
“I never left, mia cara.”

Miss not so sidekick - chapter 90
Latte is on her way down to reception room when she heard the tower inhabitants (mages) talking between themselves. The topic is about the guests that were forcibly escorted out by their tower lord.
now, I wouldn't want to say I'm judging  (from such casual conversation, no less!), so I'm gonna just straight up accuse them of being hikkikomori as well as *rarely* interacted with girls (some fandom long ago equates wizards with engineers* and I think that's tru LOLOLOL) *I think it's pratchett, but I cannot find the quote*
anyway Latte just realized that she might become nuisance if she's intruding right where they're doing clean up after the kois rampage (and you just think they're...well, the way they're flapping their mouth, is kyuut! Okay, once she married with bunny, i can totally see them raising a nice little doggy with 3 heads and let them chase the inhabitants a bit ('they need exercise!' 'who?' 'both!') *my bad, my bad, stop thinking psychopath thought*
Latte remembers back then in her old life when she was a poor teacher, swamped with works and still told to make coffee for some newly arrived guests (urk, relatable). So she just, climb the stairs back again to help gandalf
but! a mage already notice her!
and call her a name that even *more* humiliating than 'fairy'! (oh, Arwin will not like that, only he can humiliate....I meant make latte goes red with embarassment. and this is coming from his second-in-command? what is this betrayal??). Also, since it's super long and we can't exactly remember the order, we'll call it Arobrock-trying-to-give-a-clue-how-earthshaking-and-shattering-this-woman-is-to-the-tower's-future-*cough*theonlywomanyourtowerlordkidnappickpersonally*cough*and-may-very-well-lead-to-marriage*nudgenudgewinkwink*
since no way in hell i'm gonna copy paste all that, I'm gonna call it the *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer' (that's right, blame it to Arobrock, guys)
anyway, red and blue mage start bickering because dude, even with unorthodox naming convention on this manga, that's still waaaay /too/ long. Ohh, it's just a title and not real name? (can't fault them, what's with count whoyoufromwhere thingie, really) and can they mess the name order? yeah guys, blame Arobrock for that, have fun make mnemonics for that *phew* so glad I have my own clever way to shortened it as *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer'--> totally failed in history subjects
meanwhile, Latte who just listen them bickering over *nudgenudgewinkwink' 'customer' title just like, totally confused instead totally embarassed. Hmmm, this won't do, this won't do. Maybe it hasn't sink in yet since red and blue are busy bickering and bantering and yelling on top of their lungs. Totally playground kiddos. Th...this is the tower that sells expensive scrolls right? those scrolls are made by playground kiddie?
just as Latte still reeling from earth-shattering image, a guy that looks like he'll ace any history test approach and informing her that they had prepared the reception room and to please follow him. Latte, who starting to feel the weight of her 'super embarassing' title start lamenting 'Gandalf, why u forsaken me so' while red and blue still bickering about the super long title and red just kinda give up! I'll just shorten it instead (re...red, you'll never ace your history test that way! go invent some mnemonics or other memorization technique instead!)
meanwhile the history test!ace keep showing off his brain ability to recite Arobrock's test without scrolling up and copy-paste. We're kinda sitting on the fence on this Memoria guy. On one side, we know it's not his fault for being so brainy, but on other side, we have bitter memories of test failures even after cramming up all night. can you just, showing off your brain capacity in a more mage-ish way huh? like defeating a dragon or something? surely that's mage 101 or something right? why don't you try doing that instead keeping showing off how you'd ace a history test if there's one huh? ****oy, erm guys, our mind seems starting to take it personally, we should switch topic immediately****
Latte, our sweet girl and seemingly can read our mind, come to our rescue! she ask to shorten the ludicrous title (use *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer'!). Ace memoria were about to suggest something (is it better than our *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer'? nothing is better than our *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer'! ****uh guys, are we seriously competing with...? sshhhh, just hold on, we're just 3 pages away from finishing this chapter. let's hope she forget about this stupid rivalry next week****) when red and blue pops out and suggesting their own version (but of course, our *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer' is still better) and start bickering again which one is better (ours, of course!).
Show off trying to keep his calm but finally reveal his true colors about being a bad babysitter ***uwaaa, she's starting to personally attack just because he ace history test, I feel bad for that guy *munch popcorn***** we also seen how quick to anger and violence these kids are, my my, how unsightly, what have the teacher has been doing? ****uh, should we, uh, tell her that she's been attacking bunny also? are you crazy? I don't want to get involved**** *snaps fan* then show off start manhandling those brats with his hand instead magic, haaah, can we find some competent wizards here? preferrably someone that doesn't busy showin off how he ace their memory test ****oh god! she just went full condescending mother-in-law mode! I'm gonna go get psychopath division****
Memoria told the kids to be quiet and behave in front of orange tabby kitty since she's their bunny lord's guest. Hmmm, isn't it the other way around? since she already know bunny's violent psychopath tendencies, it should be okay, right, guys? *looks over* ***sigh, come here a bit, psychopath division***
continuing on, the kids asks if Latte come here to see bunny? but Memoria said that's not the case, their lord bring her here by himself.
And those two kids like, NO WAY! but....considering they're in first floor cleaning up this whole time and Latte come from floor *above* and Arwin is the only one that can teleporting in and out the Tower (which was warded specifically against that), it....it must be true???
and Latte still smiling without understanding how special is this uwu (especially because she made narration before about how Peridot and other girls are just ignored and left at the gate; hmmm, maybe because she's a customer and they're just stans? but Arwin-Arobrock conversation in chapter 23/24? before clearly remarked that he never shown any respect to customer. But suddenly he kidnap bringing one *by himself* to the tower? (kings usually summon people, not fetching them himself) what a special...ahem *nudgenudgewinkwink* 'customer'!). By the way, just want to note that Latte ribboned mane is so messy and cute.
Anyway, the kids recalling that there are somebody that try to pass herself as the tower lord's guest before. A princess from neighbouring country (dude, a princess...Arwin, you're one sinful bunny) aaaaaannnnnd, bunny gives ultimatum for her family to take her home immediately and beat the crap out of her if they didn't want to die (ummm, dude, Arwin, you're one violent murderous bunny)
**time for a bit of discussion, guys. Arwin will hit a girl?** **I say yea. he raised in slums. Latte almost get beaten just because she stepped on somebody's foot. no difference if you're a girl or a boy there, it's a gutter, remember?** **doesn't meant he will do it himself though? I meant, he's a wizard, he has other ways to punish people using magic** **but he's also has penchant for violence** **yeah, that slum background again. but would you prefer normal beating or getting blasted by magic?** **can we say the first one is reserved for normal people? (aside thugs that attacks physically we meant, they'll get beheaded)**we never see him specifically beating up girls though, what about his stans?** **sigh. when you're in slums. where kids killing each other for bread, d'ya think being a girl granted you some special privilege? like 10 kids fighting for bread and suddenly a girl appear and demand that bread is for her and they concede to be dead of hunger because a girl asks so? no way, girl is just people. Arwin will kill a girl-stan if they /dare/ to attack him** *oohhh, interesting, totally different from kenneth who suffers from his own stan** **well, Kenneth raised in society that minded their manners and girls by default are demure and lovely lil’ critter. slums is like, survival for the fittest, and somebody that thinks it's a good idea to turn your back to a female (that will be mostly have hidden weapon on themselves somewhere, since they still survive there, you know) winning darwin award** **oh-ho, then this princess?** **well, it's not like she's attacking him physically. But still, to be sneaky and entitled towards the TOWER LORD warrants a punishment, no? and it's annoying, and what if other people start claiming as well? need to discourage them. Also, it's annoying, so beating it is** **hey, you make it sound very psychopath. why he make the family doing it?** **parent's job to raise their children?** **if the parents involved, the kids likely less to repeat them again?** **also, there might be sick SM stans that enjoys being 'punished' specifically by tower lord** **WHAAAAAAAAA!! okay, let's stop there, stop there** **and therefore likely to repeat the offense** **i told you to stop dammit! continue on!**
back at the board, the kids expressing doubt if the princess’ parents really do beat their daughter. Apparently they send picture as proof (hmmm, bunny quite foolproof). Also, why the kids have iphone while their dad have that communication orb? (eh, the artist likely get creative, it's not like Latte really turned into Jojo everytime she do her gags. but we wondered if his orb having picture gallery/memory card and if it's full of Latte's pics **Arwin mentioned he would take record of Latte's crying in the alley and show it to her everytime they meet, so it's likely is** oh...oh yeah, we forgot about that)
Memoria complaint that the kids are too loud and he got his info directly from Arobrock so it's the fact. The kids accepts it readily since Arobrock is trustworthy fellow (OR IS HE?????). Red getting hey, he totally is! we respect this man that looks like grandpa even though he's younger than us (wait, you look no older than 16! how old are you, red?) blue then started smacking red for teasing cursed people (blue seems nicer guy, but how old are them seriously? also I forgot, but Bishot is confirmed to be 19, so there's still younger people than Arobrock (or or they didn't count Bishot since he's not there? hmmm, I just think red goes exaggerating and therefore getting beaten by blue though).

Amaretto

Chapter 11
Dinner was almost ready, but Gin had yet to return from his rounds. Amaretto peered out the window trying to find him. His eyes were wide and his hand squeezed at his arms. Ludwig noticed this odd behavior, but already knew what was bothering the other young man. He gently caressed his back, hoping it would calm him down a bit.
“He’ll be back soon.” Ludwig said to him, his tone calm and soothing and his touch gentle.
“I hope so.” Amaretto sighed. “Dinner gets cold like this all the time. Then he gets angry at me for it. He turned around to face him, the concern and worry present in those caramel spheres of his. “I’m not allowed to eat until he gets home either, so I always have cold dinners or sometimes go without.”
“That’s terrible, Amaretto.” At this point, he was becoming numb to Gin’s treatment, but more concerned for Amaretto’s well-being. It was no surprise to Ludwig that the British pimp treated his lover so poorly, but still sad to hear Amaretto say such things.
Ludwig reached over to the stove and turned down the temperature to a low heat. “This should keep the food warm for the time being without burning it.” he explained.
“Oh, I never thought of doing that before. Grazii mille, Ludwig.”
“Grazii mille?” Ludwig repeated, curious to understand what he meant.
“Oh, it’s how we say ‘thank you’ back in Italy.”
“And how do people back in Italy say ‘you’re welcome’?”
“Di nenti.”
“Then, di nenti, Amaretto.”
Then, the only noise in the room was the stove warming the meal in a hushed sound.
Seeing the younger man there gave Ludwig a warm, comforting feeling. His contagious smile added to his natural beauty. His fingers brushed against the side of the other man’s cheek as he moved a lock of his fire auburn hair back behind his ear. Those caramel eyes gazing at him were filled with joy and comfort. Before realizing it, Ludwig found his lips meeting Amaretto’s, his sweet taste captivating the German. Without a single thought, he wrapped his arms around the younger man’s waist, their lips continuing to meet.
It was only moments later when Ludwig realized what was happening, and pushed Amaretto away. He wanted to help the prostitute, not romance him. These feelings were not that of romantic love nor sexual love. These feelings were that of concern for his safety and well being, of sympathy and pity for his state of living, and of joy whenever the other man was happy. But these feelings were not feelings of love.
“Ludwig, is something wrong?” Amaretto asked, the caramel eyes showing concern for him.
“N-nothing.” he said, his mind still trying to process what had all just happened. Everything was so sudden, he couldn’t fathom any of it. Was it just this man’s way of showing gratitude? Did he think he was trying to help him in order to get sex? Or was this other man truly in love with him? And why did kissing him and holding him in his arms feel so wonderful? Ludwig was not in love with him at all, yet, he had never felt such a strong attraction to anyone as he did with Amaretto.
The front door slammed open and Gin came striding in, bringing Ludwig back into reality.
“Master, you made it!” Amaretto said in relief as he embraced his lover. “We were just about to set the table-“
He was cut off by his master’s lips frenching him, a sight making Ludwig begin to see red.
“Sweetheart, go set the dishes in the living room, will you?” Gin said crooned. “Make sure to add a plate for Ludwig. And get three wine glasses as well.”
“Yes, Master.”
Once he left, Gin turned his attention to Ludwig. “Please, stay for dinner. There’s plenty for the three of us.”
“I couldn’t-“
“Nonsense my boy. You did help that useless boy learning the recipe, didn’t you? You should enjoy the fruits of your labor with us. Afterall, you are going to be seeing us regularly now that you’ve agreed to teach him reading. We should get to know each other a little more.”
He already knew what he needed to know about Gin, but there was so little he knew about Amaretto. Perhaps one dinner wouldn't hurt. he thought.
He followed Gin to the living room, a small area with a fireplace with a large radio against the wall and a phonograph near the window. There were also two sofas adjacent to each other circling a small table.
“Please make yourself at home, Ludwig.” Gin said, before leaving to his office.
Amaretto then returned with two plates of the meal, setting them down on the table. He gave him a fork and a set of chopsticks. Ludwig was puzzled by the fact that there were only two plates and three of them eating. Amaretto quickly left and returned with the three wine glasses and set them by each dish. The second plate had two glasses and two sets of chopsticks. This left Ludwig to wonder, did Gin really not allow Amaretto to eat? No, that couldn’t be it. He would have starved to death by now if that were the case. And he did look healthy enough; not famished and definitely not just skin and bones. But why only two dishes between the three?
“Perfect!” they heard Gin exclaim as he returned with a bottle of white wine. “I almost thought we ran out of the sauvignon blanc. Amaretto, go turn on the radio for me, will you?”
“Of course, Master.”
As the young Italian went to the radio, the Brit began pouring the wine, beginning with Ludwig’s. “Such a loyal and faithful one, isn’t he?” he said to the German. “I would be nothing without my little mouse, and he’d be nothing without me.”
“Anyway,” Ludwig said, desperately trying to change the subject. “So how did you and Amaretto meet?”
Amaretto returned to the sofa and sat next Gin, taking his glass and sipping the wine quietly, avoiding eye contact with either men.
“Yes, how did we meet?” Gin repeated, his attention now drawn to his lover, giving a smug grin and stroked his hair like he were a house pet. “He was just a young, bright-eyed Italian when I first met him. So full of life and joy and wonder. And so friendly with the locals. But then, these horrible thugs came and tried to kidnap him, I knew I couldn’t let such a young man like him die like that. So after finishing off those bastards, I took him in, gave him food and shelter, and told him he could work for me as my house servant.”
The Brit wrapped his arms around the Italian and pulled him closer to him. “Within just a month, I knew he was the one.” he continued, his fingertips brushing against his beloved’s arm. “So full of love to give to this world. It’s a shame he’s just a weak little mouse in this place we call New York City. It’s just a vicious jungle out there, chap; you’re either predator or prey. See, Ludwig, I am a predator; a deadly, man-eating green anaconda. And Amaretto? He’s a chinchilla; cute and adorable, but just prey. That’s why he sells himself; the only way prey can survive in this world is to ‘pleasure’ the predators. The poor creature is lucky to have someone like me to look after him.”
He pulled his chin up and turned his head to face him. “So beautiful, so perfect.” he murmured sliding two fingers underneath the boy’s rhinestone choker and playfully teasing him. “I know, I can be harsh on him sometimes, but I just want to keep him safe and loved. I really can’t bear to see anything happen to him. I love him so much.”
“I love you too, Master.” Amaretto replied, giving his master a soft, loving, genuine smile as his caramel pools gazed into his lover’s peridot gemstones. The two shared a sweet, gentle kiss as they held each other closely.
Ludwig chugged down his wine and began eating. He didn’t believe a single word Gin had said. But still, his concerns for Amaretto only grew more. He knew there was more to him then just another male sex worker. He just wanted Amaretto to see that too. He wanted to accept his love as well, but, he feared it would give the young man the wrong impression. As for how Amaretto behaved around Gin, it all felt so real, but impossible to believe. How could he still be in love with a man that treated him so poorly? He needed to find out.
He faked coughed at them, trying to break the two of them apart from their kisses.
“Oh, do forgive me, chap.” Gin said. “He’s just too cute and irresistible when he’s gets all affectionate like this.” He took a pair of chopsticks and began digging into his dinner. “Why don’t you tell me about yourself, Ludwig? What brought you to the grand city of New York all the way from Germany?”
“Actually, it was Gilbert.” Ludwig began.
“Who’s Gilbert?”
“You know, my brother. He’s one of your bootleggers.”
“I don’t have any bootleggers named Gilbert. Just Cognac, Sherry, and Bärenfang.”
“Bärenfang, that’s the one.”
“So, you came here for Bärenfang?”
“Ja. He kept telling me how great America was, and that I could make a modest living fixing people’s cars. Nothing lavish, but enough to get by.”
“I see.”
He then began taking pieces from his meal and feeding them to Amaretto. Ludwig watched as the two shared bites of their meal. He didn’t know why, but something about the way Amaretto was eating from his master’s chopsticks made him seem so... sexy.
Get it together, Ludwig. he thought to himself. You’re not into him.
He finished the meal as fast as he could to get away from them; both away from Gin and his disgusting manipulation and away from Amaretto’s unintentional temptation. Once he finished, he grabbed his dishes and headed into the kitchen.
“Well, I should be leaving now-“ he rushed trying to put the dishes away in the sink.
“Not so fast, Ludwig.” Gin interrupted in his smooth, gentle voice. “I still have to pay you for your service, remember?”
“I don’t need it today-"
He then felt another muscle pull at him, causing him to give a soft groan in pain.
“Amaretto, I need you to help relax Ludwig’s muscles with those special hands of yours.” Gin continued, not bothering to address Ludwig on the matter. “And I need you to do this every night after reading lessons, understood? This is how we’ll be paying him.”
“Understood, Master.”
Ludwig turned around in defeat and sat on a nearby chair, watching as the couple got up from the sofa and the pimp pecked at his prostitute’s cheek. “Wait here, sweetheart.” he ordered as he left the room.
“You don’t actually have to help me with anything, Amaretto.” Ludwig began to explain. “I only said that so he could let me teach you to read-“
“It’s ok, Ludwig.” Amaretto replied. “You taught me something I always wanted to learn. It wouldn’t be right of me not to thank you somehow.”
They exchanged small smiles to each other. Gin may have been wrong about the world not accepting Amaretto the way he was. But he was right about Amaretto being a kind, loving person. If only he could leave this place, and share some of that love with others, then maybe the world could be a better place, even just a little.
“Sweetheart,” Gin called as he returned into the room. “make sure to give him this before you work on him.” He then handed him a small vial, then took out what looked like some long pipe liked device.
“Do we have to do that now, Master?” Amaretto asked, looking at the pipe like thing.
“Yes, now, sweetheart. You’re fully booked this evening. We won’t have time later.”
Amaretto took the pipe in between his lips and Gin lit it, the sight making Ludwig cringe his face in both disgust and sadness. Whatever he was doing to him wasn’t good, and heartbreaking to see the young man going through this.
He started coughing up smoke moments later and Gin gently rubbed his back.
“You’ll be used to that soon, love.” he told him. “Now go be a good boy, and show Ludwig to the guest room. Thirty minutes. And I need you to get ready for the evening. We have another wealthy client coming.”
“Yes, Master.”
He then helped Ludwig off the chair and lead him to the guest bedroom.
At least we’ll be alone now. Ludwig told himself.

No More Hiveminds
“I know a lot of you characters out there aren’t gonna have a lot of patience for this. End of the world, after all, am I right? You’ve got friends and families to comfort, bucket lists to scratch off... Maybe even some scores to settle. I don’t know, and I don’t wanna know.”
The moon had been broken, shattered into pieces. The sky itself was dissolving more and more by the minute. People were screaming, watching others fade into dust before their very eyes. Buildings crumbled, fires raged... Sheer fucking anarchy, every which way you turned. Everything was being deleted, wiped from the universe’s memory like a bad save file.
And in the midst of Armageddon, sitting all alone in the apartment he’d come to call home? Travis Touchdown.
“But if you’ve got nothing left, take a moment and listen to what I gotta say. Let Travis Touchdown try to be a hero, by his own standards, for one last time in Hive City.”
Travis knew that the shadow of Uncle Death was upon him. Only this time, there finally wouldn’t be any escape. He’d been feeling it for hours: bits and pieces of his skin, his soul (somehow- look, don’t question me) becoming dust. One mental slip-up (maybe two), and the rest of him would likely follow suit. By all means, it should have happened already.
But leave it to Travis to remain stubborn, hard to kill as a cockroach, even now.
This speech, spoken into his phone and sent as a series of voice-to-texts to every contact he’d ever made? It was the Crownless King’s final stand. His final anchor to this world. The message itself was just fluff. If it actually managed to inspire anyone, to give them hope in their last moments? That’d be great, and all. But if no one responded, well... that was fine, too.
Travis’ main goal here was simple: Just endure. Just make sure that none of his newfound family would have to witness his name vanishing from their contact list.
Travis had outlived tons of people he cared about before, right? Might as well do it for a good cause, this time.
“Look. I’m gonna level with ya: We’re all fictional. Every one of us, even our former, fuckheaded, scientist wardens. We’ve lived our lives here at the whims of ‘Muns,’ fanfic authors typing away at their keyboards. Dictating our thoughts, our moves, and our stories. Their little hobby’s put us through hell and back.”
There went Seras.
“Now, if you’re... still with me, you might be wondering to yourself, ‘Why's this asshole trying to give me an existential crisis?’ Well, guess what? I’m not. I’m really not. And I’d go into my usual ‘you’re real, no matter how fictional you are’ spiel to try and ease things up. But we’re all... goddammit... We’re all on a time limit, here.”
There went Star Platinum... There went Priscilla...
“So... So, instead, I’ll just cut to the chase like my life depends on it. Our muns? Our stories? Our time together? They ain’t finished! You hear me?! Hive City can fall apart like a dying star, taking us with it. But we’ll see each other again! And you know why I can say that?!”
There went Weiss. There went Kyouko. He hoped- no, prayed that they at least went down together... Goddammit, he was crying.
“Because, unlike the scientists, and as hard as it might be to believe, our muns love us! They loved seeing us back in whatever media we came from, and they love us even more after writing for us! Every obstacle thrown our way was thrown outta a desire to see us grow! Every friendship we made, every romance we blossomed, they were all squealed over from behind the computer screen!”
There went Rosa... There went Dio...
“Our adventures inspired our muns, and helped a lot of them make it through tough spots in their own lives! Subject and writer, character and mun, we grow together!”
There went Brooke, and there went Varian...
Every single loss took more self-control, more willpower to go on out of Travis. It would be so easy, too, to just give up. The death he’d yearned for through decades of hardship, it was finally at hand! One arm was already gone, for fuck’s sake!
But Travis had to keep going! He was almost there! Just a few more people... Just Peridot, and... Marceline... Then, the No More Hero could pass on.
“So I know they aren’t done! They can’t fucking be done! They’ll just drop us off in another setting, and we’ll all be-”
The door to the apartment came down via boot. Some thugs, armed to the teeth and vengeance in their eyes, stormed the living room, converging on Travis.
“Time to die, Touchdown!”
“No! Fucking seriously?! Right in the middle of my finale?! You’ve gotta be shitting m-”
Bullets started flying. Travis reached for the Blood Berry, ready to deflect, ready to fight to the finish. Teeth were gritted defiantly, and his own eyes? Angry, defiant, fearful of the end. Travis swung.
The speed and momentum of the action tore his remaining arm off.
“NO-”
The bullets ripped through Travis’ body, a sentence I never thought I would type. Dust sprayed out like blood. No pain registered. Any nerves that would be responsible were gone, after all. His body finally faded away, his final thoughts begging for his speech to end up being right.
There went Travis Touchdown, the otaku assassin, the Crownless King... the No More Hero.

Unfused Fluorite!
Meet Fluorite`s fusion components! From left to right: Orthoclase, Pezzottaite, Albite, Pearl, Orthoclase and Sapphire! More information and full res images, below!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It all started when two Orthoclases fell in love. Since Orthoclases are made to work in pairs, they managed keep their romantic relationship hidden for a few thousand years. They expressed their love for each other with fusion. But as the years passed they started become more and more incompetent on missions. Until one day their manager ordered them to be shattered due to their unacceptable and incompetent performance. They ran away and started hiding in the lowest levels of Homeworld: The Underground Kindergartens.
The Right Chest Gem Orthoclase is cocky, aggressive and acts a bit like a thug. She can also easily get enraged But her fusion partners manage to keep her calm and happy.
The Left Chest Gem Orthoclase is like Steven. Naive, kind, polite and sometimes childish.
Tumblr media
Pearl used to belong to a high ranking Abalone. She wasnt happy with her life as servant and wanted to escape but it was too dangerous for her. One day a group of Crystal Gem Extremists attacked the facility her Abalone was working in.  They cornered her in attempt to shatter her. Pearl had only one way of escape. She jumped off the window and landed in the underground levels of Homeworld. She was really lucky she didnt break from the fall. While wandering around the kindergartens she met the Orthoclase fusion. She adored their free lifestyle and wanted to join them.
Pearl really cares for her friends and fusion partners and when there`s a conflict between them she always tries to resolve it.
Tumblr media
The next one to join them was Albite. She was assigned along with her partner to guard a group of Peridots who were ordered to activate the underground kindergartens. The mission was going really smooth until they started hearing strange sounds coming from the darkest place of the Kindergartens. The Albite duo was ordered to check whats going on. The one causing all this noise was the fusion of the Orthoclases and the Pearl. One of the Albites ran away in fear, while the other one stayed. She was interested in the fusion and found her amazing. After spending some time with the fusion she joined them.
Albite is really rebellious and hates being told what to do. She deeply cares about her partners and will do anything to keep them safe.
Tumblr media
The Albite that ran away when meeting the fusion told the Peridots about the fusion. She believed her partner was shattered by that terryfing four eyed abomination. When hearing that the Peridots refused to complete their assignment, thus cancelling the mission. And so they didnt even touch the underground kindergartens for a lot of time. Thousands of years later a Pezzottaite was sent to check the status of the underground facilities and see if that abomination is still around. While flying around the kindergartens she got attacked by something. That something turned out to be the fusion. She attacked Pezzottaite because she thought she was being attacked. Pezzottaite was scared at first but learned that she has a lot of in common with the fusion. She finally decided to join her.
Pezzottaite is quite cheery and soft spoken
Tumblr media
The newest member of the fusion is Sapphire. She is a perfect Sapphire. Her visions are always right, she can fly and control gravity to some extent. Her gem has a different facet than a regular sapphire`s one. And she is bigger than a regular Sapphire. Thus she was treated almost like a diamond on Homeworld. But she ran way to the underground kindergartens because she didnt enjoy her Homeworld life. She always hated being treated like a special snowflake. In the kindergartens she met a group of Off Color gems. A member of that group was a fusion of 5 gems. Sapphire was really interested in her and spent most of her time with her until one day she decided to join them.
Sapphire is introverted, apathetic and sarcastic and comes out as cocky sometimes. Though she cares deeply about her partners.
Gemstones:
Tumblr media
I spent a lot of time working on these even though some of the drawings arent really good in quality. Anyways I hope you like my drawing! Have a great day!
