Ok I've given this a bit of thought and this is what i came up with (I'm not 100% on all of these though)

Takemichi- 100% wpuld never dare to hit a girl, he was outraged when Yuzuha got hit and when Emma got hurt.

Mikey- ok this one is a hard one since he said he never would and technically we never do see him lay hands on a girl. But he does threaten Senju at one point and it's implied he either hit her or hit someone who knocked into her during the final fight. Is there a middle section he can be put in?

Draken- would definitely never throw hands with a girl, sees it as being a pointless thing to do (he's also seen first hand how argumentative the girls he lives with can get and wants no part in that).

Baji- Seen people argue both ways on this one but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't throw hands with a girl. His mother would kill him. (Aside from sparring at the dojo).

Chifuyu- He'd prefer to just get beat up by a girl rather then throw hands.

Mitsuya- never ever ever, not in a million years.

Hakkai- would panic and run away if this situation ever came up.

Pah- would not hit a girl, might be a bit rude to one maybe even threaten one if she didn't back off but wouldn't actually fight a girl.

Peh- no way, he looked so upset the one time he accidentally made yasuda cry so would never want to do anything to make a girl cry on purpose.

Smiley- honestly a little torn on this one, his love of fighting and murder is very big but not sure he'd actually fight a girl. I think maybe he would but only if the girl started it and she seemed strong enough to challenge him.

Angry- he doesn't even wanna fight the guys!

Mucho- would fight a girl but only if izana or mikey told him to or she knew something about traitors.

Sanzu- would also fight a girl, literally doesn't care.

Kisaki- he's not much of a fighter but we've seen that he's 100% willing to fatally wound girls so he definitely would.

Hanma- would fight a girl but wouldn't take it seriously, feel like he'd treat it more like a game. Teasing and letting the girl get some punches in, giving her hope before he takes her down, watching the hope fade and seeing how she reacts. Doesn't go picking fights with girls though, just waits for them to challenge him.

Kazutora- would not fight a girl, he seemed outraged to find toman had been targeting girls in that one future.

Koko- would not fight a girl, he definitely seems to think girls need protecting (his comments to hakkai) so I don't think he'd want to hurt a girl.

Inui- he said it himself, he would fight a girl.

Taiju- again we have pretty clear evidence that he definitely would hit a girl.

Izana- would fight a girl if they were strong enough, otherwise wouldn't be interested.

Kakucho- would not fight a girl, he seems to be against girls being hurt in general.

Mochi- would also not fight a girl, he seems to have some kind of moral code when fighting so probably wouldn't fight a girl? Might though if they were very strong.

Shion- wouldn't fight a girl cause he sees it as being beneath him. "This fight wouldn't be fair for you against me!"

Ran- would not fight a girl, mainly because he thinks it would damage the Haitani brother's reputation to be seen fighting girls.

Rindou- Same as Ran but for the added reason that it would be a bit awkward for him to pin a girl down.

South- again canon evidence that he would throw hands with a girl. I feel like he doesn't care about gender just how strong a person is.

Benkei- would not hit a girl, I feel like he'd feel so guilty about it with how big he is so would never. (Aside from friendly spars with Senju where he doesn't go all out anyway)

Wakasa- also wouldn't fight a girl, sees no reason to, would likely just evade a girl if one ever tried to fight him (aside from spars with Senju).

Takeomi- definitely has a lot of thoughts about what women should be so based on those I think he'd find is dishonourable to hit a girl.

Shinichiro- ohhh definitely wouldn't, he'd probably try hitting on her or trying to talk her around instead. Doesn't see any reason to hurt a girl and is most likely the one to teach Mikey that.

So Clean So Good

Nagyaya yung my not-so-close-broken-hearted-friend na si Judeng manood ng movie nung Sabado, ni hindi ko alam kung ano papanoodin basta umoo nalang ako kasi malungkot sya, kahit na alam kong pagdating sa sinehan ay hindi ko sya makikita dahil madilim.

Nagdadalawang isip din ako kung tutuloy ba ako dahil nga may bagyo pero mas naisip ko na igrab ko na ang chance na ito na makasama sya ng solo kasi panigurado pag nagkalovelife 'to, makakalimot na naman 'to. Hahaha. Nagrhyme no?

4pm yung movie tas nakababa ako sa SM North ng 3:50 at tumakbo nalang ako sakto pagdating ko 4pm na kaso naiihi ako kaya nalate kami ng 5 minutes. Okay naman yung movie na Haunted Mansion 9/10 -- basta okay sya nag enjoy naman ako, nakakatawa sya actually akala ko horror tapos may magandang kwento. Ewan ko lang kay Judeng bakit sya twice naiyak. Inintindi ko nalang, may pinagdadaanan eh.

After namin manood, naghanap kami ng makakainan while waiting sa isang medyo-kakilala-namin-na-ewan-ko-kung-kaninong-friend-yon, Juju yung name ata. Wait, bakit ang init sa SM? As in ang init. Una namin napuntahan yung Tokyo Tokyo, ang init kaya lumabas kami tapos naghanap kami ng iba pang makakainan at after maglalakad at pagpawisan, Tokyo Tokyo pa din ang bagsak namin. Wala kaming picture dito, ewan ko ba siguro kasi gutom na gutom na ako. Ang order ko ay bento! 'Di 'to basta-basta bingo bingo (uy kinanta yan) kay Judeng naman ay tonkatsu na ako din naman kumain. Tapos dun naman sa isa ay maki lang inorder kasi kumain na daw sya. Yung pagkatapos namin hintayin para kumain, ay kumain na pala sya. Nakakatuwa talaga.

After namin kumain, lumipat kaming TriNoma para maghanap ng tatambayan at nagbabakasakali na baka mas malamig don. Anyway, napilay pala ako, hindi ko alam kung saan naano, parang may naipit na ugat. Hindi ko naman din ininda, pilay lang to, nung niloko nga ako sobrang sakit nun pero kinaya ko eto pa kayang naipit na ugat lang. uwu.

Tumambay kami sa may bilihan ng juice na hindi naman ako nasarapan, siguro kasi hindi ko alam kung anong malalasahan ko dun sa juice na yon tapos ang mahal pa, don nalang ako sa paborito kong Minute Maid 10 pesos lang. Hahaha.

Pagkatapos mag usap usap ng mga walang kwentang bagay, nagtatanungan na kung uuwi naba o ano pero ang totoo ay ayaw pa naman talagang maghiwalay. Kaya ako, bilang isang taong nakakaintindi sa sitwasyon at iniisip ang nararamdaman ng iba, nagsuggest nalang ako na magcheckin nalang kami sa sogo para mas mahaba yung bonding. Wala naman din kasing tatambayan dahil hanggang 10PM lang yung mall.

10:30 kami nakapag checkin, bumili din sila ng alak. Sarap. Alfonso sana yung gusto ko kaso wala daw tinda don sa may Ministop, ano nga bagong name neto? So ayun, nagpakuha nalang si Judeng ng damit sa bahay nila dahil malapit lang naman sya don. Tgnan mo malapit lang naman sya don pero hindi makuhang umuwi.

Ako na muna unang naligo, tapos sunod si Judeng tapos ang tanong ni Juju sino daw ang next. Ay grabe pamilyar talaga yung ganong katangian eh. Hahaha. Nung maliligo pala ako, wala palang sabon, so bumili muna sila, nasaCR na ako, may nagdoorbell, edi lumabas ako tapos kukunin pala kasi nila yung key card, e pag kinuha nila yon mawawalan ng power. Kaya ang sabi, pag nagdoorbell sila, labas nalang ako ng CR. E ayoko naman na lumabas ng basa dahil napakalamig, so hinintay ko nalang sila habang akoy parang bang burlesk queen sa pinto.

Naubos na namin yung JD, tas ako parang uhaw na uhaw pa. Pag gantong ambiance parang ang sarap uminom eh, hindi mabaho, malamig, walang naninigaw --- oooops. Kaso wala na talagang mabili don sa baba.

2AM na yata ng magutom si Juju, edi natuwa ako kasi kaya kong magutom kahit hindi naman ako gutom. Talent ko talaga yon. Sa pag pili palang ng oorderin ay napakatagal, kung ano sayo yun ang akin. Ganyan daw magdesisyon yung manloloko eh. Di ko sure kung true. Hahaha. Ang sakin ay chicken spaghetti (yung chicken sakto lang yung lasa nothing special, yung spag masarap yung sauce, nagustuhan ko, yung pasta nya ay sobrang labog pero naubos ko) Kay Juju, tocilog (masarap naman yung fried rice, kokonti yung tocino pero masarap naman -- bakit ko alam? syempre tinikman ko din) Kay Judeng ay fries (lasang fries naman, wala ako masabi) tapos meron kaming tig iisang beer.

Nagkwentuhan lang kami hanggang 4AM? o 5AM? Tapos naglaro pa sila ng COD. Grabe yung lamig, hindi naman mahinaan yung aircon kasi mainit. Ang ginawa nalang namin ay pinag tigisahan namin ni Judeng yung legs ni juju para madantayan ang paa namin para kahit papano ay mabawasan ang lamig. Ang init kasi ng katawan nya, fertile daw kasi. Hahaha. Pati sa kamay, wala syang kawala eh. Walang galaw. Atleast hindi sya nilamig.

8AM kami gumising para lang maggaguhan ulit bago magcheckout ng 10:30.

changes

now that we're past the surviving/adjusting period, it's time to T H R I V E.

work: i've been pretty bad with procrastinating, and i realized i spent much of my energy training/tending to AG when she was with us these past 8 month. work has been a lot more peaceful without her. meaning, i can concentrate on other tasks. i'm trying to finish up or at least have a polished version of work before i pass on the duties to our new analyst, JD, who will be starting in two weeks.

workouts: i got a cold last week, and still scheduled in yoga sessions at the nearby studio. i realized it made me stay sick longer/recover slower so i haven't worked out in like the last 5 or so days. i feel bad from being sedentary. i had pretty bad cough attacks, especially in the mornings and nights, where it was difficult to fall asleep. now i'm 90% recovered, yay! SC & i have only done two workouts since we first reunited on zoom, and we have another one planned for tomorrow.

health: matt recently got his lab work results back, and it was a terrifying 500+ in his triglycerides level. granted, he ate like 5 donuts and a container of gelato a couple of days before his lab work so i'm not sure if it's the most accurate, but being scared is a good thing too. we're trying to change our diet to be healthier. i started making and eating sandwiches for lunch now. we're going to alternate between oat milk and full fat milk. started including avocados into our diets again and i'm making green smoothies. also started juicing! my go-to recipe now because i copied it from whole foods is beets, carrots, apple, orange, and ginger.

i saw my PCP in february for a pap smear that came back normal, and i've been lagging going to get my lab work done because i hate needles. i'm kinda scared to see my numbers.

also, finally scheduled a dentist appointment for a teeth cleaning after not going for over a year!

skincare: just like diet and exercise, skincare is another place where i try and fail. when i went to a family party recently, my brother commented on how i have so many spots on my face and my skin became the topic of conversation around the table for like 10 minutes. i've always thought i had bad skin, since i was a teenager, and always thought i was fated to have bad skin. i realized i also am avoidant when it comes my skin. i'm trying to adopt more of a growth mindset, that my skin looks the way it does *now* but doesn't have to forever. i know that i don't put much if any effort to take care of my skin and that's a big reason why it looks meh.

thanks to chatgpt, i have an official AM/PM skincare routine now. i told it my skin issues, provided all the products i have/just purchased, and asked it to give me feedback on which products would be best to use for my concerns. i started applying serum consistently for the past week for the first time. i attempted to do change my skincare habits in 2022 but fell off my consistency. i took progress photos for maybe a month or two and then gave up. i think a driving force is that i actually have to see a lot of people now in LA, so i'm more motivated to look presentable, lol.

ceramics: officially completed my first 6 week session. i skipped the last session knowing it was mainly going to be independent work, but have been consistently going 2-3x a week. throwing is much easier here because we all have our own bag of clay (untouched by anyone else). i just glazed 5 pieces today and will get 6 completed pieces (hopefully nothing happens) by thursday/friday.

travel: matt and i booked a 8 day 7 night trip to japan in may! his couple friends M&K are going there again after having went last fall (?) and invited us to go with them. they really want to take advantage of the yen. due to work scheduling, we were only able to match up ~2 days of being in kyoto together. this time, we'll be going to lake kawaguchi, takayama, kyoto and tokyo. i'm excited to redo japan at this stage in life. i've never experienced an omakase or onsen there so i'm excited! it'll be our first time ever traveling internationally with friends (for both of us).
