Here's my Toronto Comic Con Jared solo op story!

*Pardon me for the delay, I'm still waiting to get back to normal and get my full strength back.*

As some of you are aware, I was in the hospital the night before the day of my op because I got an anaphylactic allergic reaction, so I was put on steroids and I was in a rough(ish) state.

The waiting time for the ops was over 2 hours and I had nowhere to sit, I was sweating and my body ached all over, as y'all can imagine.

(I do not blame Jared AT ALL, there was no organization whatsoever at this con.)

I'm waiting in line, right behind the curtained 'op room', & I ask if I can have my phone out for the reference pic of the pose to which they say no. So, my autistic ass gets more overwhelmed than I was and I'm like "Shit, I'm gonna have to talk FAST."

I'm excited and panicking at once & it's finally my turn.

Jared turns to me and gives me a warm smile, clearly remembering me. - I swear, I was screaming on the inside.

I try to start to explain the pose, and this man cuts me off, full on SQUATING with his arms open, to be at my level, and goes,

"Can I have a hug first?”

Looking at me with his full on puppy dog eyes.😭

(‘Cause the thing about me is, I met him so many times, but I never formally introduced myself like a dumbass?? )

I legit froze for a second because I didn’t think he’d remember me and I was shocked to say the least.

So, jaw DROPPED & eyes WIDE open, I go,

“Uh - YeAH, for sure?!”

My voice for sure cracked lmao

And he brings me into one of his hugs that make me feel like I’m home, as his way to say hello... Which I think the photographer mistakenly thought was the pose?😂

After the hug, I finally start explaining the pose and he’s like,

“Wait, I don’t get it…”

I name drop someone from the fandom whom he did this pose with and after telling him only to do it if it was fine with him, he finally gets it and replies,

“Oh, yeah!! Sure!”

He basically fully squats and waits for me to grab him into a hug, and just stands up with me hanging onto him.

When we’re both ready and look to the camera, the photographer is looking away and I’m hanging on for dear life as I’m shaking like a leaf because of the steroids.😂😭

She finally takes the picture and he puts me down and squeezes me one last time before saying bye.

Right before I leave, I turn back to him and say,

“By the way, I brought you gummy bears!”

I’m smiling and all, meanwhile, he looks utterly confused, wondering where the gummies are.😂

Y'all this is about to be my most expensive con yet 😭😭😭

AND ITS THE SMALLEST ONE I DO!

It's half the size of FanExpo Canada, maybe closer to a third

And Toronto Comic Con is smaller than Niagara, I just don't know by how much

I'm afraid to look at all the photo op prices. I'm already $600 deep just for my tickets + Jared's photo-op and auto

I'm going to do a solo op with Mark for sure and I need an auto from him too

I'm sure there will be a Ruth and Mark duo. Probably Jared and Jim too. Maybe Jared and Alex. Probably some bigger ones. If Pellegrino ends up getting added too its so over for me. My bank account is so done.
