THEATER OF THE ACCUSATION

I. Treason is the chant of a fading empire. A word shouted into microphones, never into courtrooms.

II. Why no consequences? Because the accusation was never meant to lead to judgment— only to applause.

III. Accountability would require confrontation with shared guilt. And in this theater, everyone behind the curtain is wearing the same mic.

IV. The GOP doesn’t want justice. They want just enough outrage to sell ad time, fundraise off the apocalypse, and reset the news cycle.

V. You weren’t supposed to see results. You were supposed to feel betrayed, again and again— until you mistake betrayal for patriotism.
