The Tron: Ares Official Trailer has me chomping at the bit to watch it!

Though I truly despise the fact that Jared Leto is the lead, the film genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air in the wake of years of Disney making a deluge of trite & downright awful live action bastardizations of their animated films on top of the repeated fumbles of massive science fiction IPs like Star Wars & Marvel which have both slowly declined in quality over the course of those same years.

Thus, I really want to show my support for something more original & hopefully genuinely entertaining or at the very least decent.

Tron is absolutely one of my favorite scifi franchises; myself currently owning: the duology of films, multiple soundtrack albums & nearly every video game in the series, so I’m thankful that it lives in the sweet spot of being a cult classic that hasn’t been milked into oblivion by Disney. With the visuals, music & premise shown off so far, I feel cautiously optimistic at least about Tron Ares at the moment. Due to Leto’s casting however, I’ll likely end up ☠️ sailing the high seas ☠️ for the movie when it moves from theaters to streaming.
