Like this isn't just a case where she dislikes it but can't change the law, no. She outright doesn't give a shit and sees slavery as a mere afterthought.

Lande, who stabbed Rashta while she was pregnant because she spread some rumors about Duchess Leonardo Dicaprio. Sure he didn't know she was pregnant but he still attempted to kill someone, he brought that knife with him, that was premeditated.

but I guess trials for someone to be proven innocent or guilty sure don't matter when it comes to the people affiliated with your enemies.

Recently reread/caught up on The Remarried Empress and there is simply so much I am excited to see.

First and foremost, the fucking vindication I feel when we see Tyrant Heinrey popping up and the fact that he was in fact planning a war, unparalleled satisfaction. But on the flip side, with Navier, I really want her to actually put some harsh consideration into the fact that she will eventually have to go against her birth nation, because she doesn't seem to have really done that and its the one time i'm shaking my head in wonder at her lack of foresight.

The other thing that has grown even more strong is my sympathy towards Rashta. Mainly because for all the awful things she is doing, I understand her situation so clearly. She was a literal slave, and now she is trying everything she can to get out of that situation. The other thing is that I can't really be upset with her for the naivete that she carries, because no one has really attempted to educate her on the matters not found in books, outside of Duke Ergi, who is very clearly winding her up with just enough rope to let her hang herself and (potentially?) the empire. Also it frustrated me to see Sovieshu think that she was no longer innocent, because in like the next panel we see that she very much is just not in the visible cutesy way that he liked. The OTHER thing that makes me have a bunch of sympathy is seeing her give birth prematurely and going through, what seems to me, postpartum depression with no one to support or even acknowledge it. Compounded with the trauma from her first birth, its heart breaking. I really want to just pull her out of that situation and get her some therapy and community service.

And since I mentioned the man, Duke Ergi. Why do I still fucking love this man? Maybe its because through all the politics getting tangled due to the imperial family drama, he seems to be the only one keeping clear of it and pushing through for his goals. which are still??? What is this man's goal? Why did he go for Rashta? Was he meant to go for Navier at first? We have heard nothing about Bluvohan, and he is apparently the nephew of the king? Is a port really all he wants? He has Rashta majorly in his debt, and could have propped her up as his puppet in the empire but instead he is weaving her a rope to hang herself with. WHY? I should not still love this man as much as I do.

Oh and now that we've seen more of him, I have to mention Mckenna who is the MVP of the Western Empire. He theoretically has massive pull but instead of using it for himself, he is constantly working and doing his best to curb Heinrey's more destructive ideas. I love Mckenna and think he should simply get a nice vacation.

I find it easier to rant here about tre because I can let it out all in one go

Uhm, Krista was 16 and Heinrey 8 when they first met, while Heinrey's older brother, well was older and in her range of age, of course she was forced to marry the older brother and not the kid 💀.

Since his is the royal family of the then kingdom, well yes, his older brother was next in line to be the king, so the wife from the noble family was for him.

And it’s not like the chance was taken from her away when she became a widow, mainly because Heinrey returned to the kingdom with a wife. And Navier was 23-24 and Heinrey 20-21, because for some reason they age gap gets thrown in as if they didn't meet as adults and it wasn't a short gap.

Also, despite it being a practice in royalty of the king's widow marrying someone from his family, Heinrey could have never gone along with it because he felt it weird to be with his brother's wife and he never saw her in a romantic light because of their ages. And not to forget the rumors, Heinrey left because of the rumor that he was going to kill his brother for the throne, he got to be king since his brother died without heirs, of course he wouldn't get with Krista to fuel the rumor.

Krista was unhinged and took advantage that Heinrey was drugged to get close to him, nothing happened because his love for Navier was stronger than the potion. Even if she only swept off the sweat from his forehead, she used the rumors that began spreading to request an audience so she could be Heinrey's concubine to clean their honors from the rumors. Like, after all Navier went through with Sovieshu and Rashta, the last thing he was going to do was willfully take on a concubine, and if it was imposed on him because she was the former queen, he would have never touched or looked at her.

Heinrey was generous because he was born to be a tyrant, but fell in love with Navier. He has an evil nature, he is evil with everyone but Navier, and just because Krista was his brother's widow he didn't punish her accordingly for what she did, because if he wanted, he could have her executed.

Her delulu ass was already on her way there, Krista was really delusional for asking to be the concubine; and had she stayed, with the way she let herself get carried away with what she wanted to hear, she would have ended either executed or murdered but made it seemed like an accident for trying to come between Navier and Heinrey, or doing something to Navier while pregnant.

Krista wanted Heinrey, but Heinrey did not want her, if it wasn’t Navier, it would have been who became his wife.

And we been knew that Krista's father would only protect her if he didn't have to protect his son and grandchildren, because when the time came, he chose them.

Motte/Gloryem being Rashta and Sovieshu's child and her guilt

Motte aka Gloryem being Sovieshu's child was confirmed in children arc. Long before the "Sovieshu's regression arc".

Many people posed as the lost princess to meet Sovieshu. One of them was Cici, Motte/Gloryem's close friend. But Sovieshu knew it wasn't her but was kind to Cici.

Sovieshu also knew Motte was Gloryem. But she refused to take the throne. She didn't want to take things. She wanted to earn them on her own talent (because of her lari realised how spoiled she was, cause she was just asking her parents to give her both Eastern empire and western kingdom. Said she wanted to conquer the rest on her own. Future tyrant right there. Even Navier realised, lari was basically telling her brother that, she'd cause war and take the kingdom from him. Like what?🤡).

Motte knew, eventually she'd have to reveal her identity to everyone later. So she wanted to be strong of her own first. And out of guilt too. Cause she blames herself for Sovieshu's decreased mental health and Rashta's death. (No baby it wasn't your fault 😭💔). Poor kid 😞. She wanted to be strong, so that she could help others.

She calls Sovieshu as her her father, not Alan. And Rashta as her mother. And blames herself for their current condition. (My heart broke reading that part 😭😭😭). She also feels sad for the grand duchess who spent her life looking for Gloryem.

The immense burden she carries on her own. I'm pretty sure if Sovieshu knew that Motte blames herself for his mental condition, he'd die from heartbreak. Cause no way in hell, he'd blame Gloryem but himself for his current situation. He didn't even blame Rashta for his misery, rather he blamed himself.

Motto looks like Rashta but she, but by nature she is all Sovieshu. Her mannerisms matches with him.

Now I understand why "Sovieshu's regression arc" took place just before the divorce. Alphatart made sure Gloryem grew up with her parents this time.

I don't think she'd hate Navier as a step mom, as Navier feared. I think they'd have an amicable relationship if not close. Rashta might realise later that, Navier is not her enemy. Being away from Lotteshu's blackmail and Ergi's manipulation would calm her down too.

When Sovieshu's regression arc came out, I only focused on Navier and Sovieshu's happy ending but didn't realise how it changed Gloryem's life too! 🥹 And Rashta is finally alive, not dead in a cell. 🤗

Yes I would have preferred if Sovieshu travelled back farther, long before he found Rashta. But I guess the author didn't want to erase Gloryem from existence.

Petty me wants point out that, Alphatart had no problem in erasing the twins from new timeline but didn't erase Gloryem. 😌 She exists in both timeline, thriving and enjoying her life.

She's Sovieshu's kid in both timeline. 🫂

Just a wishful thinking but I hope in future Alphatart writes a sidestory where, Motte and Sovieshu finally have a good relationship with each other. And comes in terms with her mother's past. She doesn't deserve guilt that's burdening her.

Thinking about how Rashta's demand that everyone perform adoring her could quickly code her as a tyrant. Forcing the nobles to be in her company, and expecting them to play the game as she wants it. It also fits in with the fear she has cause tyrants at their core fear a lack of control over a situation.

Do I think she will be a tyrant? No. I think she doesn't have the outright power to demand the loyalty and performance she wants from people. I think Sovieshu wouldn't let her do something so devastating to his reputation.

But at her core she is a scared little girl in a position she should not be in. The more she demands the nobility to perform obedience and social loyalty the more dangerous she is making it for herself. The conspiracy she worries about will be more likely to happen.

I played this myself at first but it was too boring so I watched the playthroughs I could find and apparently there's a route where the player can simply stay single and not get with any of the men, that's the ending I wanted because when your options are:

A: your abusive ex husband,

B: an obsessive tyrant

C: a man who drugs people with love potions

Most people tend to say "fuck that" and just stay single but apparently that's the bad ending to the game and Navier spends it wishing she picked one of them. Navier! Come on now you can do so much better you know this!

Also I'm sorry but if there's a route in this game where you can get back with Sovieshu then and it's considered one of the good endings then there should be a route where you can befriend Rashta. Just saying.
