hi friend!! do you know why vic sage is alive or something because i just saw him in a current comic and I'm honestly so confused 😭 i thougjt he was dead!!! i thought he was one of the few who have managed to still remain dead haha

Short answer: the universe put him back wrong.

Long answer: Vic came back in Lois Lane (2019). (He made a couple minor appearances before then, but they don't explain anything). He wasn't really resurrected as much as he stopped being dead, which I know sounds like nonsense but it's the best way I can describe it.

When Rebirth happened, a lot of characters were brought back into continuity that had been erased by the New 52, but this wasn't a clean process. Not everyone came back exactly as they were, and not every contradictory element between the two timelines is resolved one way or the other. Vic and Renee remember his death even though he's alive and she didn't quit the GCPD until after she remembered him, and that's just the way things are now.

The angel of death, lord Aserial, sent by Lady Hel and Lord Hades to collect the souls of the fallen has been allowed to grant one wish to those that they take.

First they came to a old and worn out lion, who died in a roadside circus who he had spent his entire life in. And he asked that for just one day he would like to be a lion. And Aserial sent him to the grasslands, where he could run and hunt and lay below the blazing sun for a day before he passed. And no lion tamer would command him, and no human smile would mock him.

After that they came to a street cat who had been struck by a car. And she asked that for just one day she would like to be a cat. And Aserial sent her to an apartment, where there where humans to feed her and to give her pets and to keep her warm and safe, and where she could lay on a couch looking out a window. And no dogs would hunt her, and no rain would make her wet.

And after that they came to a human, who had lived all their life in a town built for cars, and died young working mindlessly and endlessly in an office, not sleeping well and eating less that humans should. And they asked that for just one day they would like to be a human. And Aserial sent them to a city, with streets meant to be walked through and places meant to be visited, and they could dress as they wished, and explore the city streets, and talk to people and make freinds, without worrying about the responsibilities of the next morning. And no boss would force them to work, and no landlord would force them to fear the cold.
