Drazí občané a občanky,
Ještě tam nejsou dráty, ještě to jde…
Mstní kněz Karel František Müller (dle skvělého návrhu @autistictortoise) najde podrážděného a promoklého Jana první noc po návratu schovaného v kostele. Po společné rozmluvě navrhne Janovi, zda by nebylo k užitku, aby k sobě s Františkou našli určitou cestu, vzájemnou pomoc a pochopení.
Ano, správně, Jezerský nám do této části příběhu nejspíš nezasáhne.
Manželé Děkánkovi (odkaz na jedno z falešných jmen Thénardierových – Jondrette prý znamená „děkuji“) by vlastně mohli mít hospodu v onom pohraničním městečku.
části si představíme zásadní témata a postavy 60. let. Ano, samozřejmě, hlavně kluky z Ábíčka (pardon, ta asociace se nabízela).
Zatím budu ráda za jakoukoli reakci, vyjádření podpory, pokud vás námět zaujal, nebo naopak vyjádření odporu, to samozřejmě beru taky :-D.

GBPUSD Breaks Out, UK Stocks Hits Double Top
UK stocks fell on Thursday unsettled by ongoing geopolitical tensions, and as the Bank of England (BoE), as expected, left its interest rates unchanged at 4.25%.
However, three of the BoE’s Monetary Policy Committee nine members voted for a 25-basis point cut this meeting, a more dovish tilt than expected.
The BoE said there remain “two-sided risks to inflation" and it once again affirmed a "gradual and careful approach to the further withdrawal of monetary policy restraint remains appropriate".
On foreign exchanges, sterling edged higher as interest rates remained on hold. Against the euro, the pound added 0.20% to 1.1713 and it was up 0.25% to 1.3435 versus the US dollar.
GBPUSD H1
The greenback was weaker after the Federal Reserve also held rates steady on Wednesday, as expected, but its chair Jerome Powell also warned of inflation risks, saying the price of goods will pick up over the course of the summer as President Trump’s tariffs start to impact consumers.
Meanwhile, the Swiss franc strengthened after the Swiss National Bank (SNB) reduced its interest rates by 25 basis points to 0% and signalled it does not plan additional cuts. Most market participants had anticipated the rate reduction, though some had expected rates might return to negative territory at -0.25%.
And Norway's central bank also unexpectedly lowered its key rate to 4.25%, marking its first cut since the end of 2023. Officials pointed to a faster-than-expected decline in inflation and said a gradual rate normalisation would support the economy without excessive tightening.
Most US markets - including Wall Street and the Treasury market – were closed on Thursday for the Juneteenth public holiday.
At the stock market close in London, the FTSE 100 index was 0.6% lower at 8,791, while the broader FTSE 250 lost 1.0% at 20,073.
UK100Roll H4
Among the blue-chip fallers, Whitbread lost 1.2% as the Premier Inn and Brewers Fayre owner reported a 5.4% fall in total UK sales, while revenue per available room fell 2.4%.
But energy issues rose, with BP up 1.4% and Shell ahead 1.1%, as oil prices jumped higher again as the conflict between Israel and Iran entered a seventh day. UK Brent crude gained 0.4% to $77.03 a barrel.
On the FTSE 250, Syncona was up 4.8%, as the healthcare investor proposed a change of investment objective to move to an orderly realisation of assets, as it reported a decline in net asset value.
But NCC shed 11.2% after the cybersecurity company reported a 6.0% fall in full-year revenue even as its pretax profit nearly doubled.
And Hays tumbled 9.8% as the recruiter warned on full-year profits, citing more challenging permanent job markets. Peer Pagegroup was also sharply lower, down 8.4%.

[Magi reread] Night 79: Alibaba's Sword
Lmao that Alibaba behind him. You gotta respect how much he trusts Aladdin to keep him safe from Yamraiha's attack here.
Imma be honest. It kinda annoys me, bc I'd genuinely love to either say more or throw in more screenshots etc, but the problem is that the chapters of this arc so far have been really exposition heavy. Like, what do you want me to say. Yamraiha explains to Aladdin what Borg is. That's it. That's what's happening. Similarly previous chapters. And it's literally I either send you everything or I send you nothing, bc it's also difficult to just cut it in the middle. I'm doing my best.
Ok, but this made me wonder if it's like... natural natural, or was it Ugo's design, y'know?
Bye, lol.
Sorry to cut Aladdin like that, but what even is this panel.
I've always liked this about Magi's magic sytstem. Idk, it's so simple in theory, it's all about ordering the Rukh, but at the same time it just feels really cool.
Also, headcanon time. Cuz we see magicians sometimes draw magic circles and shit, and I don't recall it being explained in more detail. My idea is that it's to write out orders somewhere. Most magic is just based on orders in the magician's head, but certain spells can be extremely complex and delicate. So, for example, a very specialised healing spell would require somebody to write the orders down, because one mistake could fuck somebody up.
Half a page later, and I'm like, oooh, right. I like it, because it's scientific.
In general I'm always a lil iffy at the divide between magic and science in fiction, like, bro, magic is science. It's just a different branch of science.
Love that thing behind him. But also jesus fuck, what kind of memory and thinking speed you gotta have to be able to cast spells that have hundreds and more formulas.
Ok, that's really cute. Look how happy Yam is that somebody wants her to teach them magic. ;;;
Alibaba stop comparing yourself to people.
I like the entire page, but look at Alibaba and Aladdin trying to call out Amon. They're so worried : (
Aww
Idk, it makes me kinda sad that it was the only time his father came to visit. Looking back, Alibaba knew some parents sucked, but his personal experience was only with Anise, so I can imagine he went to the palace with some expecations. I mean, Rashid went to get him, personally. That had to have meant something, right? But then he just noped himself out of Alibaba's life. Like, I understand that, he was the king, he had things to do, but man. Alibaba had literally nobody in the palace for a while.
Thinking abt this panel, or maybe overthinking like I tend to do, it probably mattered all the more, because Rashid was the only person who allegedly wanted Alibaba there. The only ally, if you will, so of course it mattered to Alibaba to have his approval, and to see him actually visit him. Not to mention
(cute!) he looks really young here, still, so it seems like it's been before other people started warming up to him. : (
omggg
Baby
Alibaba, right after sharing a story that obviously shows that something meant to him a lot: but it doesn't matter ^v^
He does look sad in here tho. And also idk, Morgiana looks a little funny. She has no mouth, but thankfully, she doesn't need to scream.
Once again thinking how it's so fucking weird that Rashid gave Sinbad this sword.
Like, bro, that's some randomass kid who tries to create his own country. I sorta get that you like him and you find him more deserving than your sons, but bro, that's, like, national heritage.
Wait, what? Does the official translation use similar wording? Where Sinbad hurt his country and its residents?
Also, love me the parallels.
And the beginning of Cassim Flashback Every Arc. He doesn't necessarily haunt the narrative, but he sure af haunts Alibaba.
Wait a minute
Don't remember how it went in SnB, but if Rashid doesn't say exactly that, that'd be disappointing.
Alibaba-Sinbad parallels, Alibaba-Sinbad parallels!
In general I adore these two's dynamic on a personal (the relationship between the two) and on a thematic/narrative level (parallels and stuff like that, the fact that in the Final Arc Alibaba even wears clothes similar to the ones Sinbad used to wear... I could get into it, but not here).
Mmmmmm yes
Yea, that must've been one hell of a moment to experience.
Also, is that supposed to be Rukh in the bg or?
This looks so fucking silly.
Cuz you don't get her, Sinbad.
Also, like, we know I don't like Alibaba/Morgiana as a romance. I really don't, for personal and writing reasons.
BUT I don't believe it was always doomed to fail.
Every time I reread it, I can see why people like this ship, even if I could never myself. Early on, their friendship was really fun. It had this effortlessness to it, just like this moment, with Sinbad looking at Morgiana and seeing a girl, so a girl should wear pretty stuff like necklaces or bracelets, versus Alibaba who sees Morgiana as Morgiana, and he understands that she's strong and a warrior, so he find something that makes her look cool and powerful. And he does it like it's no-brainer. Yeah, obviously I'm gonna get Morgiana awesome golden claws!
That's also why it's so infuriating when Ohatka shifts them (rather forcibly on Alibaba's side) into romance, and suddenly it's like he stops seeing Morgiana, and starts seeing his imaginary girlfriend with Morgiana's face. Alibaba and Morgiana had a fine relationship that could have been easily transformed into romance, and, frankly, I grew to love their friendship upon my rereads [I genuinely recommend to reread the manga after the Final Arc, because FA bastardizes so many characters that at times it feels like a slap in the face], but the moment that switch happens, it's like they're two different people. It doesn't help that we've been going through the slow and steady process of depriving Morgiana of any plot-relevance, which culminates with that friendship->romance jump. Alibaba used to be a person who got Morgiana, why doesn't he anymore?
Anyway. Enough of that.
Idk if Ohtaka had planned for the Slave Arc by that point, but I love to read Sinbad's expression here as genuinely distraught.
That's genuinely sweet and empowering. These chains used to bind her, but she gave them a new meaning, it truly feels like she's taking back the control she was deprived of. Jamil made these chains into a reminder of her abuse, but she turned them into a proof of kindness of those around her.
Sinbad lowkey looks like he's dissociating, lmao.

@summonshadcw || post season 1 starter
The back alleys of Ketterdam were a long way from the ornate halls of the Little Palace, but… Reese couldn’t say he missed it, not knowing who was one of Baghra’s spies and who genuinely aligned themselves with the Darkling. He still spent his days looking over his shoulders, but with everything that had transpired, he almost felt free.
Almost; he didn’t know if they’d come looking for him with the change in leadership, or who was going to step up to Kirigan’s place, so he hid himself best he could, draped in dull blues and deep charcoals and and a ragged brown cloak, so far from the heartrender’s red kefta he almost didn’t look like the same man anymore. [ The scruff lining his previously clean shaven jawline didn’t help that. ]
Dusk was falling, but there was enough slanted pools of light pouring from the buildings to see in the alleyway, if only just. Enough for him to catch a glimpse of a face under a hood, enough to stop the old heartrender and make him turn on his heel, looking back.
His survival instincts told him to run, even before he knew if he’d seen right, that he had half a chance to get around a corner and disappear before things could go sideways. But he was stopping, already, peering back the way he came at the dark figures retreating back.
No; not retreating. Departing.
“Kirigan,” he said, loud enough to get his attention, and now that Reese was stopped, the exhaustion was more evident in his face, in the way his military posture had relaxed at the shoulders, and the dark circles beginning to underline those storm green eyes of his. “I see you survived the Fold.”

Viper of Sham Lash
The young girl shifted slightly, the clinking of chains the only sound in the dark, dungeon like room. There were no windows, stone walls and stone floors. Her wrists and ankles were chained to the wall, as was an iron collar; the restraints serving a main purpose of having a way of keeping her immobile when one of the assassins would come in to collect venom from the girl. It was so exhausting.
With every rub of the iron against the raw skin underneath sparks of pain shot up her limbs.. The chains were long enough so she could lay down comfortably, well as comfortably as was possible while trying to avoid moving.. She had practically screamed herself hoarse, yelling to go home and to be let go; but all it got her was beatings and a lost voice so she gave up for the time being while she healed.
Why the hell did people live like this..? Or maybe how would be a better question. She kind of wished these people, whoever they were, would just let her die. She hated them so much, if she could bite the person causing her this pain she would. Bitter thoughts filled her mind before she rubbed her face, too tired to continue thinking about the situation.
Laying with her back to the heavy, metal door when she heard footsteps; though she ignored them. Assuming whoever was there was just going to look through the slot in the door to look that she was still alive.... then walk away. At least she hoped they would if all they were going to do was push her around again.

Send me "Thoughts on" + a Character name and my muse will give their opinions of that character. || ACCEPTING!
Since this is an in-character meme, I got silly and randomized my muses and made them each talk about one other muse, so those are below the cut since it's a longer post.
Settas Opinion on Masrur:
"Masrur...? Is that his name?" Setta paused, as if pondering deeply before he answered. "Well he seems like a good guy. Dependable and such, which is cool." A small hum left the ice mage, and he added onto the end.
"He's also buff, which is totally attractive. So thats a plus."
_________________________________________
Judals Opinion on Kouha:
"Kouha? Hes weird." The Magi sighed deeply, his tone blunt.
"He acts like he wants to make a mess of things, but only when Kouen and Koumei aren't around. Its boring. If he spent more time with me we could have fun, buuut.." he shrugged. "I guess hes fine to hang around with."
_________________________________________
Sinbads Opinion on Aladdin:
"His name is Aladdin? He looks nice!"
The boy seemed pleased, swinging his legs as he spoke. "He said he travels a lot too! I wanna know more!" granted that was his opinion on anyone that had a story to tell, but still.
_________________________________________
Kou!Aladdins Opinion on Setta:
"Setta...? Never heard of him. But he seems to know the Empress?"
Which was strange, considering his informal nature. Usually people who came to see her were much more refined. "He's kind of weird. He doesn't fit in here at all." But in truth? The little Magi thought that was kinda cool in its own way.
_________________________________________
Aladdins Opinion on Pisti:
"Miss Pisti? Shes super nice!" Aladdin hummed with a bright smile at the mention of the blonde general. "I like her animals, and she makes pretty music for us when shes around." He liked playing his flute with her, at the very least.
"She's not as pretty as Yamu-san is, though.."
_________________________________________
Vittels Opinion on Sinbad:
"The little Sinbad...? I mean, Hes so cute--!"
The lavender haired assassin couldn't help the happy laugh that left him. He had a soft spot for kids, and Sin was no exception. "I can't believe hes the same guy as Sin, its crazy~" was that a dig at the King?
_________________________________________
Mystras' Opinion on Judal:
"Judal's a brat." Mystras didn't bother mincing his words, his expression going sour at the mention of the Magi. "Him and that Princess... I don't trust either of them." With that he sighed, though.
"But even if I don't trust them, I do trust Sinbad. He wouldn't steer us wrong."
_________________________________________
Pistis Opinion on Mystras:
"I didn't get to know Mystras very well, but he seemed like a nice guy."
Pisti made a face. She joined the Eight Generals well after the First Sindrian War. Those that perished during the conflict were... less than familiar to her. "...Spartos has told me a lot about him." And based solely on what he had said? Pisti was sure she would have liked him a lot.
_________________________________________
Masrurs Opinion on Vittel:
"...Vittel was a good friend."
Masrur didn't like thinking about the War, about who they had lost. The memory of standing vigil over Rurumu... still felt fresh despite the years that had passed. But he inhaled deeply, glancing to the side. "He was always looking out for the younger members of our group.." he didn't get it at the time, but he appreciated it now. "It's a shame he's not here." that any of them weren't here. He didn't seem to want to say anything else.
_________________________________________
Kouhas Opinion on Kou!Aladdin:
"Aladdin is pretty fun." Kouha hummed at the mention of his countries Magi. "A bit naive, but I appreciate him." He did stop, glancing around to see who was near before continuing.
"Theres something about him. A look in his eyes... I just hope he stays safe. That's all."

Swiss National Bank cut rates to 1%, SPX500 hits new high
Swiss National Bank Cuts Rates following a Sharp Drop in Inflation
The Swiss National Bank (SNB) made a highly dovish move by cutting rates by 25 basis points to 1%, down from 1.25%.
The SNB hinted at more rate hikes likely to come soon given the drop in inflation to 1.1% in August, which is lower than expected. This is primarily because the increase in imported goods and services prices was far weaker than forecasted after the strengthening of the Swiss Franc. Additionally, the rate cut came from falling oil and electricity prices, making the downside inflation risks greater than the upside risks.
Following the news, the 0.85 pivot combined with the descending trendline to act as resistance for USDCHF. The price will likely drop further to test the 0.84 pivot for potential support soon.
USDCHF Weekly
EURCHF found resistance from the 0.95 pivot after breaking out from the descending trendline. A pullback to the descending trendline plus the 0.9350 pivot will probably provide support soon.

US Unemployment Claims Fall as S&P 500 Hits New Highs
US Unemployment Claims were 218K, down from 224K forecasted and 222K previously, as the positive result helped drive the SPX500 to extreme highs.
The most significant contributors to the increases in initial unemployment claims for the week were in Texas, New York, California, and Georgia. Meanwhile, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and Connecticut saw the most significant decreases.
After the news, the SPX500 hit new highs as the price broke out from the previous swing highs around 5650. The price looks set to continue its strong bullish momentum towards 6000.

[Magi reread] Night 10: Sabotage
No, he didn't. He fuckign kidnapped you.
Fuck that dude.
Aladdin takes none of your shit, Jamil.
HE TAKES NONE OF YOUR SHIT, FUCKER
tw: ableism
Jokes aside, I'm probably gonna come back to it later. As in, ableism. But that's when the time comes.
You do! ^v^
Score.
I wanted to joke about something, but, tbh, that's actually sad, when you know that there's nothing there anymore.
On a different note, I'll reread the SnB chapters with Masrur & Sharrkan.
Listen, again, we don't get along, Morgiana, but that's sad as shit.
Really hammers down how much trauma's Morgiana been through. Like, we know. But at the same time, the fact that she could wreck shit so easily, but she views Jamil as "incredibly scary". Fucking annoying that her trauma was kinda ignored post-Morgiana Arc.
These arrows are always the best, I swear. Also, he really looks kinda :<
First of all, very kind of you to try to protect Aladdin in the one way you can - by trying to educate him. But also, how come you didn't notice Alibaba there. He's, like, stated to have a very distinctive smell. I still wonder the fuck does that mean.
Fanalis go brr.
Totally understandable reaction.
They're both cute, but also look at how proud of himself Alibaba is.
Them :3
Door.
