oh no i absolutely agree! i just wanted to set up your expectations appropriately if you're coming from something like qi that it's very much not the same format. i know for a lot of people they prefer the panel show/comedic/"soft" style quiz shows and only connect is very much a "hard" quiz show comparatively. def worth it tho

hehehe, i watched an episode earlier and it’s honestly so funny bc vic is significantly more monotone and straight faced on it than she is when she plays poker (where’s she’s almost always the smiliest & chattiest person at the table) which is all so interesting to me knowing in her shark cage talking head she said "it's always a mistake to try and bluff me. i've yet to meet a person who can get a tell on me.” the fact that she is so good at hiding her emotions to the exact degree she desires regardless of how she’s presenting herself… coolest woman ever. If YOU haven’t seen her play poker I highly recommend it, watching her throw off opponents and gain information by their reactions is a work of art
