Ridiculous, flowery shit. ❛ Guy was just being a fuckin’ dick. Don’t make it a big deal. ❜

It's a gift, they said. To be so in tune with the other realms that you can be a conduit, a messenger. So few have the ability, she should be so proud!

What they didn't mention was the cacophonic shitshow it actually was to experience firsthand, and never did it start the same way. Whispers, flashes of moments in time--and never did it make sense. Never did they connect or follow chronologically, and the more she tried to ignore them, the louder they got. The more intense they got.

So, Molly got some help in tuning them out, the best way she knew how; by drowning them in liquor. It's what she's doing tonight, actually--drowning herself in liquor and constant coursing beat of the club. Hundreds of bodies gyrating to the music, and she's but one of them losing herself in the moment. Much better than the alternative--the ever nagging feeling she's missing something, forgetting something still present, but dim beneath one more shot of whatever's on special.

She meets his eye--easily one of the tallest dudes in the place, she always did like 'em tall--and considers the option for a brief moment. Molly's having fun on her own, she usually does, but it could be more fun with him. So, she beckons him over.

"Is it your eyesight that's in need of correcting, lover boy, or is it just your manners that do?" Even if didn't have any more drinks to pour at the moment, there had to be more interesting things to look at in her than her.

He'd been nursing his beers, slower than usual, for the better part of a few hours now, trying to work things out in his head. The way things could go. The way things might go. The way things might go wrong. In the end, honestly, he'd just managed to give himself a headache. A glance down the bar, giving the room a general once over. It was a slow night, or at least, it was hitting the slow stride. He raised the half empty glass to Hale, indicating the need for another, downing the last in a gulp so he could swap out for the fresh one.

"Got a question for you." This wasn't exactly the kind of ... moral quandary he felt comfortable taking to Naomi, or Holden. It did seem like the kind of dilemma Hale might have run into, before, though. Or at least maybe have seen play out. "Hypothetical." That was a lie.

"Say that -- you were ... with somebody." A faint furrow. "With, with someone. You could still do who you wanted, though --" That seemed a relevant point. "But this somebody, say, had a sister. And the sister, she was with this guy, a while back and maybe, it turns out, the somebody you're with doesn't really like this guy. Thinks he's trouble, or something. If you and this .. guy, had -- you know. Fucked. In the interim. That something you think your somebody would wanna know about, or -- not so much?"

"Nope." One hand settles on her hip, bare save for the peek of the black lace underwear that could just be seen beneath the button up shirt she hadn't removed yet. "Absolutely not." Her other hand snapped, pointing down. "I am not climbing on a fucking chair just so you can kiss me this time. Not after the day I've had."

It was the anniversary of the Hale Fire, and Morgan had been living in Beacon Hills for some time now and with his connection to the Hale’s being Derek’s co parent to Eli, he figured he would do something since the Hales where pretty damn big in the supernatural community. Regardless, he had collected some flowers from a florist down town, he had Peter help him pick them out as they were Talia’s Favorite. He offered for the older Hale to join him but he got a no as he had other plans.

This is where Morgan headed off into the Preserve making a beeline for the husk of the burnt-out Hale House, where he laid the bunch of flowers by the doorstep and offered a silent moment of prayer. However, his nose twitched as he scented a strange wolf was nearby. He entered the ruins to investigate.

Steely dark eyes meet brown without hesitation or fear - curiosity, perhaps, lips curling into a low smirk as he watched the other. "You should know that I've seen men I liked more dismembered for less." It could have been as little as a passing observation or it might be meant as a threat - he made little indication as to which it was. "Is my face so to your liking that you would risk such a fate?"

“Then we should all get along just fine.” she replied blithely, with a wide smile that held too sharp of an edge. It was hard not to be at least a little wary of new people. You could only have people try and murder you so many times before you became a bit more suspicious. “But just know that if you do end up being a bad person - we will kill you.” Blunt and to the point, as always.

"ah, right. your magical ability to toss people out on their ass." if there was one thing hale never failed to do it was make her laugh, a grin following when he kissed her finger anyway. apparently there was no such thing as calling his bluff with this man.

"you're my hero." and he really was. he had essentially changed her whole way of living, showed her that she didn't have to run and hide, that this was a side of herself she could actually embrace and find happiness with. unfortunately, she also sees the the sadness in his eyes that belies his smile so she doesn't push it further, but one day she's determined to make him believe her.

"oh. it's nothing. some asshole smashed a glass on the bar when i told him he was cut off and i sliced myself cleaning it up after he left." and how sad it is that she's let her become so touched starved that she leans a little into his hand at the friendly gesture, like a dog seeking affection. "i think he thought it would make me jump and back pedal. it didn't."

admittedly, hale was always confused by the change that sometimes happened when another wolf was around. he was his usual dumb self, sure, but a more protective version. even when it was just he and tatum in a room, there was something inside the wolf that puffed up to be his best friend's savior. a best friend, by the way, who was bigger, stronger, and much more logical.

so, he was both surprised and not at his reaction to camille. self destructive tendencies were pushed to the side in favor of her. concentrating on her and whatever her needs were, especially after the way they'd met. someone hurt her. bad. and, one day, hale would make sure they were dead. very slowly. very painfully. yet, dead all the same.

a loud and very dramatic gasp that passed hale's lips. " one, fair. rainbow dash beats my ass any day and two? low blow. i'm just as fucking magical, thank you. " bottom lip pouts out ever so slightly as he takes care to wrap the small strip around the wound. then, just to be petulant, he kisses the tip of her finger, anyway.

" definitely not a hero, " a smile is meant to cover the sadness that deflated him. a hero could protect their family. a hero didn't do really fucked up things to forget the pain. they valiantly put one step in front of the other. " but i'll still beat anyone's ass if you point me in the right direction. or, provide you with all the character band-aids you can handle. "

with the crisis averted, the wolf reaches up to move several strands behind camille's ear. " you good? what happened? "

Sometimes, she had moments. It wasn't particularly something Molly wanted to talk about, nor was it something she particularly wanted an audience for--but Hale was developing this habit of catching her right when she was feeling her most exposed. Worse? He had the habit of telling her right what she needed to hear at the moment...whether she was ready to accept it or not.

"Well, don't make it weird." She mumbled with a small sniff, brushing at her face with the back of her hand. Even so, she allowed herself to be drawn against him, wrapping her arms around his middle. Maybe she could let herself be here for a moment or two, walls down. There would be plenty of time to rebuild them.

okay so .... in this like ... one little group of tangled mess of roleplay that somehow got dubbed penny's cinematic universe (and not by me which makes it absolutely hilarious to me)

we have mikkah here. mutant.

and then we have mikhail, her twin brother at @intcthatgoodnight also mutant/ superhuman.

and then we have william at @ambitionfcrged who was their handler / trainer / whatever back in the day. also mutant / superhuman.

then we have arthur over at @valiantsword who is mikkah's 'canon' ship (though there are bouts of polyamory or what not that come and go as time passes) tog loosely based immortal.

in connection to that we have desi who is at @aeternals (or @riverguides ) who is one of arthur's long time friends, and a fellow immortal.

(which is also where @melodyfcrged comes into play as a baby immortal who was doing nothing but living her happy music teacher life when she literally just died in time to get dragged into all this chaos bc ^^^^ is the only one dreaming about her and vice versa - tog immortal based) (and also, involved in this is @factiousfcrged who is desi's long time lover / partner)

then we also have hale, over at @wolfisheart who is one of william's ... playthings i guess is the nicest way to put that who is a werewolf that runs a bar for william outside of the city where william lives with -->

@tornmemory who is (currently) unbenkownst to mikkah, mikkah's daughter - that she thought died as an infant, which was one of the events that led to her breaking free of her control and escaping. rosalie is also a mutant / superhuman, and has a programmed split personality, nadya.

then we have wren, at @somebadguys, who is a relatively 'normal' human slightly psychopathic woman that has been recruited by william to worm her way into mikkah's current circle

we also have rowan, who is an old pack mate of hale's who has been hunting him down for revenge bc she thinks he's responsible for the death of most of their pack way back when -- also at somebadguys.

and somewhere in there we have a random ass normal, human, ex military guy who stumbled into william's bar one day and got hired on as a bartender. which would be, dante, over at @nomadfcrged who sometimes sleeps with hale.

and also in there somewhere we have william sinking his claw back into mikhail and sending mikhail to lure mikkah away from all her immortal friends / bodyguards and everyone else so that he can snatch mikhail and mikkah back up.

and for good measure we have dark verse andy at @ofbloodandbullets who just flat out said fuck it i'm done after quynh was lost and disappeared into the wind. spy network / weapons dealer / the whole shtick.

????? talk about a tangled web we weave how did this even happen ROFL. but also, wanted to kind of get this into one place and also to loop @intcthatgoodnight in in case you want to jump into the chaos and scheme with some of the other parties involved - but ABSOLUTELY ONLY IF YOU WANT TO i just wanted to get this written out and see if i've missed anything.

also this is the 'pcu' verse. for my record keeping purposes.

anyways that's the chaos that's been brewing the last couple days but it is literally just one verse for all these blogs and every character listed here is available for plots, potential ships, and angst outside of this verse !
