Fumikage sat with Midoriya, watching the girl glaring at the ground. She did not look pleased with the world.

Dark Shadow was itchy to 'accidentally' be let loose.

The sound of feet had them look up, and Midoriya jumped up to throw herself into the arms of a man who'd been approaching with three women.

"Hey, kitten," the man said, hugging her.

"Can't believe that woman, bringing HER here," the blonde woman among the women muttered.

"Mrs. Bakugou is delusional," said the brunette with a sigh. A little boy who'd been behind her came out to hug Midoriya, who hugged him back after she was released from the man's arms.

"She brought Inko, didn't she?" Midoriya asked.

"Yep. Luckily, they weren't allowed in with her thanks to the restraining order," the man said. He looked at Fumikage, his gaze going hard.

"Yawara, this is Tokoyami. He calmed me down," Midoriya said. "Tokoyami, this is my foster dad, Chatora Yawara."

"It's a pleasure to meet you sir," Fumikage, standing up to bow. Dark Shadow poked out of him, gasping.

"Are you the Wild, Wild Pussycats?!" she asked. Fumikage froze, staring at the quartet.

"We are," the blonde (Pixie Bob, it had to be) said with a wink. "About to sharpen our claws." She grinned ferally. "It's gonna be a good day."

"Thanks for waiting with me." Midoriya gave Fumikage a hesitant smile. "See you tomorrow?"

"Farewell," Fumikage said, watching her walk away with her family.

He just met some of the best rescue heroes in the country.

"I didn't get their autographs," Dark Shadow whined, and Fumikage shook his head with a smile.
