US: Walmart expands Walmart+ with new pet telehealth services through Pawp partnership

Walmart is rapidly expanding into healthcare, now including pet health services as part of its Walmart+ program in the U.S.

Recently, Walmart partnered with Pawp, a 24/7 virtual veterinary care provider, to offer exclusive telehealth services for pets to Walmart+ members. This new benefit waives the usual $99 Pawp membership fee, providing members with free access to online vet consultations and personalized post-visit care plans that suggest products available at Walmart.

Walmart’s growing presence in pet care, a sector projected to reach $277 billion by 2030, began with Walmart Pet Care in 2020, which included pet insurance and pet-sitting. Since then, Walmart has opened a Pet Services Center in Georgia, offering basic vet services. This latest partnership aims to boost Walmart+ membership, which costs $98 annually, by enhancing its benefits and attracting pet owners.

Walmart+ members can activate the Pawp service through the Walmart+ Benefits Hub. To support holiday sales, Walmart is offering a 50% discount on annual Walmart+ memberships until December 2, 2024.

I’m recovering from a cold and I thought I was on the upswing, but last night I fell asleep with an AirPod in, and for some reason I got up in the middle of the night, and put my AirPod right into the cup I’ve been using to take cough syrup, which still had some sitting in the bottom…

Then I woke up Again a few hours later and thought, Shoot I need to suck the syrup out of my AirPod!! Which I tied to do and then heard a popping sound come from it… so if the syrup didn’t kill it I absolutely did…

130$ to renew my fucking state ID thats expires in july. i already have no money, half my check goes to rent, which leaves me 200$ and now 130$ is fucking gone.

not counting needing to buy appropriate summer clothing so i dont over heat again and of course plus sized clothing costs an arm and a leg.
