Aggh feeling super proud of myself like im getting on so well atm im learning to drive and im learching french and my art is going really well and ive been enjoying spending time with myself and ive been organising more things for my future and now it feels possible and i hit that deadline and ive been more equiped to deal with things that definetly would have given me a breakdown in march and like. This year is going to suck and im not getting everything i want done but its not going terribly either

My weekly reset routine

Hello girlies! After some days offline I come back with this blog, I will be telling you quickly my every Sunday "Weekly reset routine" which is popular among girlies like us, isn't it? For me, this is the first day of my weeks and probably the most important one, since I get relaxed, taken care of and I reflect on what to focus next. I hope it inspires you in case that you don't have a routine like this, and if you do I hope that it's working well for you!

My routine

Tidy up and clean all my space: Includes the kicthen (that's my assigned section between my family), my bedroom and my bathroom. While cleaning downstairs I listen to a podcast and in my room I listen lo-fi playlist.

Begin the laundry: Every week I do my laundry, every two weeks I also add my bedsheets.

Do my full shower routine: I use shampoo, hair mask and conditioner. After, I use my cleanser and face exfoliant. To finish I use my soap, body exfoliant and shave my legs and armpits. I listen to new albums every time while showering.

Post-shower routine: I do the rest of my skincare routine, dry my hair, apply cream on my body, get comfy clothes and check my nail polish.

Tidy up my clothes

Plan and reflect: 1.How was last week? 2. I plan next week goals and tasks 3.Add calendar events 4. Revise my routines and schedule 5. Check my budget

Digital detox: Eliminate any unnecessary data on my laptop and cellphone, mostly.

My post-routine

Light a candle and listen to frequency music: I listen mostly to heal my feminine energy and positive vibes

Practice journaling: I look out for prompts or I express my feelings, I have a new journal book and I prefer now to do it by hand.

Say positive affirmations in the mirror: I get them from pinterest! I have cried twice by now, it has helped me with my inner dialoge, concept and steem.

Practice meditation and yoga: I normally practice between 20-30 minutes, for me is more than enough and actually helps me relax and maintain my mental health. I recommend you Jessica Richburg in Youtube.

Watch a movie: I really love to watch movies! So now every Sunday I make some popcorn and get cozy in my sofa to watch one. Right now I'm into chick films, they are really funny and inspire me alot.

In the time between the soon-to-be collab, you were blasting your socials with content. Any thing you could post - you were. It may be best to mention.. none of it was about Schlatt.

You were blogging, vlogging, live streaming, everything. No matter if it was to one person, or your NEW highest viewer count on twitch, 25.

Twenty-five people were watching you. You continued to cook on live, vlog your college experience, and blog your thoughts. You kept every avenue different. That’s how you start to get traction - versitality. If you can livestream your recipes, but document something else on a different platform, you get to see what works best. Maybe even switch it around a little. God only knows you needed the money.

Any way this went, you were about to get some sweet, sweet daydream time with Schlatt. Like he said - this could never help you blow up at all, it’s really up in the air if this will even do anything. At the least, you could try.

It reached Tuesday night. You were viciously anxious. What to do?

Nothing better than, of course, streaming. And, here you were, chopping and prepping your ingredients in front of a WHOPPING 30 people for your lunches this week.

“Soooo, guys, good news!” you slid some chopped onions to caramelize in a pan, grinning, despite the looming anxiety over tomorrow. “I got a raise at work! I’ve been hostessing for a few years now at a higher-end restaurant - it’s locally owned and they told me that since I started, they have had raving reviews. Something about mentioning me by name, specifically, for excellent service over 100 times in these past few years. I just - God, I felt honored.” you sighed, smiling and shaking your head. This was a great way to get your mind off things.

“I’m just - I’m REALLY excited. I got a three dollar raise. That’s insane. The family that owns the place has basically become my own family. It means so much that they think this highly of me.”

“Oh my God -“ you gasped, hearing the audio play for the donation. “Thank you! You’re so sweet!” That was your first ever donation. A buck. Guess it’s better than your 2cents? (a/n:teehee)

After you had finished your week’s worth of meals, you decided to stream editing your next youtube video. It was just your face and some background music as you typed, but you were enjoying it. Slowly but surely, the viewer count slowly dropped. When you first noticed, it was down to 10. Only a few minutes later, it was down to one.

“Hey bud.” you smiled, seeing the number having dropped all the way down. You were surprised, by this point, that you even had one. You didn’t bother to look to see who it might be though, you were deep in concentration on your video editing.

‘figured i’d pop in to see how the socials were going. doin’ good so far huh? you had 30 some people earlier. it’s no 200k, but imagine all those people in the room with you.’ jschlatt donated $40.

As your eyes traced the border of the twitch tab, trying to see who sent a message, they shot open in shock.

Oops. There was no hiding this reaction. Your face turned a deep red as you covered your mouth with your hand. “My God!” you yelled at the camera. “You- you scared the shit out of me!” your eyes scanned to make sure the automated voice was right and it wasn’t a troll. “Holy…” you were trying to make sense of what was going on. A message dropped into the chat.

jschlatt: ‘what? you think i’m fuckin with you? i told you i enjoyed your shit’

You shook your head and sighed, leaning back in your chair, “Yeah, honest to God I don’t know what I thought happened.” you tried to catch your breath. “Thank you - by the way! That’s a LOT of money for me! You just fed me for like, a week or two.” you laughed in shock as you saved the video file and minimized the tab, focusing on fixing how you looked for him. He was watching you now. You were an object. It felt good.

jschlatt: ‘small dose of my appreciation for the stuff you put out. don’t get just groceries. we can talk more about that later. i’m going to bed now, see you in the morning’

“Oh - okay!” your breath hitched as you shoved some hair behind your ear, leaning forward. “Goodnight! I’m super excited to work with you tomorrow!” grinning widely, you fluttered your eyes subtly at the screen and camera. You knew he was watching - that viewer count still said one. You were gonna look as good as possible for as long as possible.

He started typing up another message.

‘Go to bed, you know you’re gonna regret it if you don-

“No, I shouldn’t. She’ll get the wrong idea.” he couldn’t help but run his hand down his face. He left the stream, shut his laptop off, and leaned back. “Shit.” a heavy sigh left his mouth. Shaking his head, he stood up to head to bed. “Jambo, what the fuck man.” His eyes glanced over to his sweet boy on the bed.

“What is going on with me lately?” he sat on his bed, hunched over on his phone. “I can’t believe I sent her money.” shaking his head, he set alarms for tomorrow morning. “I feel kind of guilty,” he sighed petting Jambo and [REDACTED] on his bed. “That might get out. People are gonna lose their shit if it does.”

His eyes wandered back to the phone in his hand. “She stopped streaming when I left.”

‘What was that at the end anyways? I’m just.. i can’t tell if I’m being tricked by this bitch. Am I being manipulated? Is she crazy? Maybe I’m the crazy fucker for doing this collab. Maybe I just… fuck. I shouldn’t ‘ve agreed to this. Fuck. Fuck.”

Jambo curled up into a peaceful slumber on his lap, purring as Schlatt’s hand laid on him.

“I guess it’ll be fine. I got nothin’ to lose.” his hand ran over his tired face again, laying down for bed.

The next morning, you had everything set up according to plan. This was going to work out exactly as you had wanted and dreamed of.

Were you manipulative?

A small part of your mind turned on itself. ‘what if i am manipulating this whole situation?’ your breath hitched. ‘what is he’s letting me? what if he’s into it?’

You sighed. ‘well, I know he’s not into it, but God. I gotta fix myself. This attitude.. it’s not what he would respect.’

In ten minutes you were going to call, set up, and record your first collab with your all time favorite person. The plan was to try and make homemade pulled pork sandwiches on the stovetop, something seemingly very unorthodox and probably just really hard. Why the stovetop? For fun. Why did he agree to this? No one knows. All you know is this is about to be the time of your life. You get to record yourself and he’s going to send you all of his video to edit into your own… you were going to have so much raw content of him. He was such eye candy.

“God,” you sighed, laying your head down on your bed just for a moment before calling him. “I’m obsessed I guess. But maybe.. this will die down if I just enjoy this as much as possible. He would tell me to stay in the moment, I think.

Shit. What do I talk to him about? What casual chitchat do we even bother trying?

Oh no. No, no no no no. The recipe is for pulled pork.” you looked down at Jeremy as he bathed himself. He looked up dumbly in reply. “That means hours. Slow roasting. Unused time.” your eyes went wide.

“How do I talk to him for hours? Do we hang up and call again when the food is done? Oh my Lord, dude, I am STUPID.” you laughed at the terribly poor planning. Of course, it was you who was unprepared. You thought of conversation ideas as you made sure you looked perfect for him. And for the viewers. But mainly for him.

Your kitchen was spotless.

It was time. You rang him on discord. He picked up.

“Hii buddy! How are you?” you exclaimed, fixing the positioning of your laptop on the counter, lining the framing up with the camera you had centered on your counter.

He was so hot.

“I’m good, good.” he smirked and nodded in reply, giving a soft chuckle. “Got everything ready? Lights-camera-action?”

“Ohh yeah baby,” your breath hitched. That was a… choice of.. word. “You know me. I over prepare, even.”

“Can’t relate,” he sighed, shoving what looked like the last bite of a bagel into his mouth. “I’m still fuckin’ eatin’ breakfast.”

“Fair.” nodding, you brought an iced coffee into frame, sipping it.

“Basic ass bitch.” he mocked with a mouthful. “Lemme guess - iced coffee? Vanilla? Tons of fuckin’ creamer?” he shook his head in what seemed to be a loving-mockery way.

“ERRRRRRRR. Wrong. Caramel iced latte.” you sipped again, pointing at the camera with a wink.

“Shit. You got me. Ton of MILK then.”

“Mhm.”

“Are you fuckin’ ready yet or are we gonna chat about this all day?”

Your stomach dropped. This was about to be another bold choice.

“You know me - I could stand for either, you’re my idol.” you smiled sweetly, picking up some tongs.

He squinted slightly. You don’t know that even he noticed, but you did. He shook his head and smirked.

“Yeah, yeah, fuckin’ weirdo. Get your dumb fuckin’ camera on and let’s get this over with. Bitch.” he muttered that last part.

Oh, you had him. Hook line and sinker baby. He wasn’t totally tired of you yet - this was gonna be good.

After your mid point of the video - that is, all prep work done, you turned the stove on.

“Now - guys - I have never done this before. Y’all know first times are dangerous for me. Cooking, I mean.” you stuttered to the camera recording for your youtube.

“Me too.” Schlatt started to do a bit, standing in front of the camera, blank faced. He slowly picked up something out of frame, standing back up with Jambo in his arms. “I bet this will taste real good.”

Your face dropped. At least, you were pretending it did, with the bit. “Schlatt. We talked about this. You signed a contract.” You watched as he blankly inched Jambo closer to the pot on his stove. “NO. NO SCHLATT.” you started to crack, fake tears welling up in your eyes as you snorted. You started laughing.

He cracked too. He started chuckling. Really hard. Why was this so funny? Why did both of you enjoy one small bit so much?

“Okay, anyways,” you wiped the fake tears conjured off your cheeks. “Time to set the timer! We’ve added everything. This is one of those ‘leave it alone’ dishes, perfect for people who don’t like micromanaging their meals, or like ‘dump it’ meals. Generally speaking, this is supposed to be easy. We’ll see.” Your eyes widened in judgement of the interpretation of ‘easy’, letting out a small laugh. “We’ll be back in six hours!’ you sighed, putting your hands out to the camera. Schlatt nodded, rubbing his facial hair.

“God, fuck,” he sighed, leaning against his counter.

“So.” you smiled and leaned against your counter, fixing your hair. "Six hours to go. I think.. I picked the wrong recipe." you laughed in mild defeat.

“Shit, fuck yeah you did.” he chuckled, picking up his laptop and sitting at the desk he streams at. “You better know you fuckin’ owe me for this, for the record. Six hours is fucking insane. I would never do shit like this.” he sat in his chair and leaned back, sipping some water.

You smiled, sipping your iced coffee. “Why did you do it if you hate this so much?"

He sighed again, looking at the screen. At you. Maybe. “Because, like I said, I respect your shit. I keep up with what you do because you try to make it meaningful, what you love, whatever.” he shook his head.

“Tell me - what’s your plan for this six hours we have to burn?” you poked again, intrigued.

“I don’t fuckin’ know.” he laughed a little. “Like I said, poor planning. Might take a nap or some shit. Get groceries. Why?”

“Just curious. I was wondering if you’d be open to talking for a bit. Not the whole time, obviously, but part of it. I have waited like.. five years to meet you? I have some fan questions." You smiled sweetly, giggling a little.

“Yeah, let’s just do it.” he rolled his eyes. “Better now than later.”

‘She's gettin’ on my last fucking nerve. Bein’ all girly, flirty, whatever the fuck. She knows what she's doing. Weird fucker. Parasocial bitch.

Who am I kidding,’ Schlatt thought to himself, sitting in his office. He watched you on his screen. His eyes flickered away from your face and to around your room as you walked. 'I'm as bad as her at this point.'

“Is just like, maybe an hour okay? I don’t wanna take up too much of your time if you have other things to do. I'm just so, so excited to be doing a project like this with you." you took your laptop to your bedroom, sitting it on your comforter as you sat in front of it.

"It's fine." he sighed with a small laugh. "You're already talking a fuck ton." he shook his head with that same smile.

"First question." you sighed, pulling the blanket up over your lap. "Do you view this collab like you did with Tommy donating to you - or whatever he did to talk to you? Wasn't he on your discord server as a fan and you admitted that it was all, what - some elaborate cash grab?" you held a soft face, ready for whatever answer came.

"First off," he sighed, shaking his head in frustration. "That was a unique situation that still occurs with lots of creators. You need to understand, we do this for a living, even if we enjoy it. If I have no other revenue streams besides donos from kids, of course I'm gonna feed into it. They'll give me more fuckin' cash if I do."

Ooof. That hit. He's truthful to a fault.

"Secondly," he sat back up in his chair, holding Jambo. "No, this isn't that. Bitch - oh my God," chuckling, he messed with my hair. "Listen, we both know you aren't big right now. On anything. This is almost charity work. I mean this in the least offensive way," he tilted his head down but kept his eyes on the screen. "I went into this knowing I wouldn't make a dime. Or, most likely wouldn't. I'm not even making a video to put onto my channel."

"Wait - you're not?" your eyes went wide.

"No." he chuckled loudly. "I'm not gonna give you that type of free crazy promo. Crazy bitch."

You shook your head with a smile. "This is like that collab you did with Oompaville, isn't it? You just did it on his channel and never mentioned it?"

"Have you seen all of my motherfuckin' videos? Like every single one? This is insane." he laughed in surprise. "Yes, it's like that one. I don't hand out promotion. You get me on your channel, not vice versa. It's MY channel for a reason. I'm the face." he reclined in his chair a little. "Obviously, I do collabs. There are some on my channel. BUT, but, I have specific people, if you couldn't fuckin' tell."

"What's the reasoning behind that?"

"Because I want to." his accent finally came out in full force, his upper lip curling on the "to". 'It's nice to finally hear him talk like that.' you smiled in thought.

"Alright," he sighed, stretching a little. "I'm gonna go for a while. You call me when it's time, 'kay toots?"

"Good enough for me." you leaned back against your pillows. "I guess that's all I really had on my mind for now. I don't want to overwhelm you in the first hour of our 'break'."

You smiled again. 'I love it when he calls me that. He probably calls most women he talks to that, but.. he's sweet.'

"M'kay." you nodded. He smiled at your reply. "You're a sweet kid. I won't lie to ya, I think we're gonna have to do something like this again. It hasn't been miserable so far. Irritating, yeah, but.. bareable."

"Ohh stop it." You shook your head, covering some of your face with your hand. "I'm a fan of you, of course I'm nervous." you were nervous, but you were very, very flustered. 'He's so handsome. Teasing me is some sick dream come true.. he's not even trying to get with me. This is just playful banter. God, this is just.. just..'

"That's good." you grinned shyly. You weren't able to hide your blush now - the flustered feelings finally got to you. He smiled when he saw the red on your cheeks.

"Whaat, I'm gettin' you flustered?" He leaned in towards the camera, tilting his head a little. He leaned back after a moment. "Don't tell me now you're gettin' shy. We've gone this whole time being fine and put together."

"Naww, I didn't say nervous." He furrowed his brow with that horribly handsome smirk of his. "I said flustered."

"I'm not flustered!" you exclaimed with a defensive giggle, looking up at your ceiling for a moment before looking back down to Schlatt on your screen.

"Ohh I think you are." he chuckled louder. "I think you're fangirling a little."

"Shut up. You don't even know me." you rolled your eyes. "I fangirled the night you replied to my dm. Not now, dumbass."

"Oooh, so, what, you think I'm handsome? Sexy?" he smiled, crossing his arms and twisting back and forth in his chair. "I know plenty of bitches drool over me. I jus' don' get it." his accent was even more pronounced now as he seemingly got into his confident, proud character he uses online.

This was your opportunity to start bantering. You could play fight. Yet another thing you had always dreamed of.

"I think you're ugly as shit." you laughed, crossing your arms at him.

"Well I think you're an ugly fuckin' bitch too." he said in faux shock. He laid his hand on his chest in playful hurt.

"Whatever," you sighed with a big, shy smile. "I'll call you when the food is supposed to be done."

"Aight. See you."

Each day followed a familiar routine - waking up, preparing meals, tidying the house, practicing magic, resting, and repeating the cycle. This had become the rhythm of your life since you learned to control your abilities.

Now, as you lay on your bed, your gaze fixed on the ceiling, your mind wandered. Dreaming of your crush-/jk. You were actually just thinking, thinking your whole life.

[What's on your mind?], a familiar, and ever so mysterious voice echoed in your thoughts. You paused, then responded with a sigh, "Nothing... no. Actually, I'm just thinking. Thinking of when I will be able to completely master my powers and return to the surface once more."

Your sigh broke the tranquil silence of the room. Beside you, Aquilo slumbered peacefully, his expressions serene as if he were lost in a pleasant dream. "How envious," you muttered, wishing you could experience the same restful slumber. You remembered the previous nights were you wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air.

In contrast, your own nights had been plagued by unsettling dreams – fragments of memories that seemed to piece together, yet remained elusive. Whenever you tried to recall the details, a sharp headache would wash over you, leaving you unable to grasp the true meaning behind these dreams that visit you.

[Pardon me but, may I ask why you think that you should master your powers before resurfacing? I'm intrigued, truly.] The mysterious voice in your mind spoke up once more, interrupting your thoughts.

You paused, considering how to respond. "Hm? Uh. To be completely honest with you, I train my powers so that I can protect myself." You replied then shrugged. [Protect yourself from what?] the voice inquired.

You furrowed your brow, unsure of how to answer. "Why should I even tell you this? I don't even know who – or what – you are. You just appeared in my mind one day, and I've simply accepted you as a companion, though I'm not sure if you're real or just a creation of my own imagination."

[Oh wait, did I forget to mention that?] the voice said coyly. "Duh, if I knew, why would I be asking?" you retorted, a touch of annoyance creeping into your whispered tone, mindful not to disturb the sleeping Aquilo beside you.

[Now, now. Don't get angry at me. I should not have assumed you were aware of what I am.] it said in a gentle voice. "The obvious," you muttered under your breath.

[Tsk. Whatever,] The voice clicked its tongue dismissively. "Hey, did you just 'tsk' at me?" you whispered sharply, keeping your voice low. [I'm actually a soul fragment of yours.] it revealed. "Did you just ignore me- wait what?" you said, now thoroughly confused. A soul fragment? What's that?

[I'm a soul fragment of yours,] The voice repeated. You angrily replied, "Yeah! I heard you the first time. But what do you mean by soul fragment? I don't understand that part." Sitting up straight, you waited for the voice to elaborate, but it remained silent.

*Silence.*

"Hello? Are you still there?" you pressed, whispering into the air.

[Oh, sorry about that,] the voice chimed in, a teasing lilt to its tone. [I dozed off for a moment. Teehee~]

"Don't you 'teehee~' me!" you hissed, your patience wearing thin. The sheer audacity to even 'teehee~' at your face. You can even picture it making a ridiculous face that you could mistake for a punching bag in your mind. If it even had a body, you would definitely punch it with how it's playing with you.

[Come on~ Don't you want to know what I meant by me being a soul fragment of yours?] the voice giggled, its playful tone piquing your curiosity. [Oh wait, let me correct myself.] it continued, the lightness in its voice now replaced by a more serious tone. [I'm not a soul fragment of yours but we are both soul fragments of THEM.] it said, but now it's tone was gone of the once playfullness and was now replaced by seriousness. You felt a sense of unease settle within you as the voice's tone shifted.

"THEM?" you whispered, the question hanging in the air, your brow furrowed in confusion and concern. "What do you mean by THEM?" The voice remained silent for a moment, as if carefully considering its next words. [That is a story for another time,] it finally replied, its tone unreadable and leaving you with more questions than answers. You let out a frustrated sigh.

You opened your mouth to press the voice further, but the sudden stirring beside you made you pause. Aquilo was beginning to stir, his peaceful slumber seemingly disturbed. Glancing over at him, you decided to let the matter rest for now, not wanting to risk waking him. With a deep breath, you settled back onto the bed, your mind swirling with the implications of the voice's words. "THEM," you mouthed silently, your gaze fixed on the ceiling.

Just who or what is THEM? What did you have to do with THEM? What is your connection with THEM? The questions swirling in your mind weighed heavily as you tried to piece together what the voice had mentioned. You closed your eyes, pushing the unanswered questions aside for now and sleep. You are too tired to even properly form an answer.

Under the veil of night, a shadowy figure darted silently through the forest, their movements swift and agile. Barely discernible in the darkness, they weaved between the trees with uncanny precision, leaving no trace of their passing. Emerging into a small clearing, the figure's features remained obscured, their gaze sweeping the area.

“Are you sure that this is where they rest?” a high-pitced voice whispered urgently. The figure responded with a curt nod. "But I see no buildings here," the voice continued, a hint of uncertainty creeping in. "How can you be certain?"

"Quiet, Paimon!" the figure snapped, a note of irritation in their tone. Raising a hand, they pressed it against their chest. "I can feel our connection here, the strongest it has been. They are near, I am sure of it."

"But Traveller-" a fried egg was chucked to Paimon's mouth the instant she opened her mouth. "Shh!" the Traveller warned Paimon again.

hello, hello! we are hurtling towards the end of the semester and moving back home for the summer! there’s a lot to be done, and i’m slowly inching my way towards the finish line…

registration for the fall semester is thursday, so wish me luck in getting into my classes 🤞 it’s like the cornucopia in the hunger games.

today, i finished my writing piece for thursday, did some revisions on a flash fiction piece, read half of my readings for anthropology, and made some designs for my club’s instagram. i’ve been doing a lot of crocheting instead of work these past several days since i’m selling my work on friday… the end of the semester is so busy with final assignments and big events! i have a lot of final projects to do and a final exam to study for, and everything is due at different times 😵‍💫 i’m aiming to keep you guys more updated over the next three weeks until i move out. not sure what this blog will look like over the summer…

I starting writing a fic because I was craving something specific.

Plot Summary: Gojo, Geto, and Shoko go undercover at a charity fundraiser in Shibuya to retrieve a cursed object hidden in a penthouse. As the trio dons sharp outfits for the occasion, Gojo is taken aback when he sees Geto in a tailored suit for the first time, bringing long-suppressed feelings to the surface. In this 4-part series, Gojo tries unsuccessfully to keep his emotions in check around his well-suited friend.

IWTV S2 Musings - Tentative Timeline (Pt3a: 1945 - 1950) - ❗REVISIONS❗

These revisions took a minute, y'all, apologies.

HUGE thanks to @usuallydeepalpaca-blog and @alleyskywalker for working with me to make a (hopefully) more precise tentative timeline for S2 -- Pt 1 (1940 - 1948ish: x x) and Pt2 (1949: x x). There's so much unreliable narration from ALL these MCs, so things are very much STILL up in the air wrt chronology, that will likely only be resolved in S3 🙏 (AMC y'all got some explaining to do, cuz this ish REALLY don't make sense!!! 😩). So until then, this is still just a rough guestimate of when events took place in S2, cuz IDFK. 🤦

1945

Mostly I brightened up the dark AF pics I used on all the nodes

Added the rest of the quote from Lou & Claudia's convo to "follow the blackouts," cuz I hate when people complain that S2 wasn't as "glamorous" as S1; when IRL post-war Paris was broke as a joke--the lights flickering on & off in Claudeleine & Loumand's scenes in Ep2 were cuz of continent-wide blackouts during & post-WWII. You can't demand that AMC be historically accurate, then complain about the grim reality of IRL history during & after THE biggest war in Europe.

Adjusted the date range of Lou & Claudia meeting the coven from Nov, to a grace period of Nov/Dec 1945 (IF they arrived 5 months earlier in July, not June)

Adjusted the date range of the Chateau hunt with the coven from mid-Dec, to a grace period of Dec 1945/Jan 1946 (IF they arrived 5 months earlier in July, not June; plus 1 month of Claudia watching their performances)

[EDIT 4/17/2025] I realized I never mentioned this 2x2 quote confirming Louis was in Paris in 1945:

"A theater called Theatre Des Vampires. A company that had been in existence for 150 years! 77 years and it still feels like a slight."

1795 + 150 = 1945; 2022 - 77 = 1945. Just noticed I never put that in.

Small but significant changes:

Added a node of Claudia confirming her hazing period took "weeks"

Bumped Satre up to Spring 1946, before Claudia's initiation--the grace period I gave that scene was too vague/generous

June 29, 1949 - the night Claudia invites Lou to her initiation ceremony

July 6, 1949 - I reckon Claudia's coven initiation was July 6, cuz "at the end of this week" would be Sunday, June 30, so Claudia could've just said "tomorrow" if that's what she meant. So the only other night she could be referring to was July 6th.

Thus, Baby LouLou definitely started performing in the summer (approx. July), not the spring

1947

I split up 1947 - 1949, to isolate everything that happened pre-Roget's interrogation.

I can't count, and miscalculated 500 nights = 16 months instead of 18 months, which effed up the whole thing, omfg I'm stupid! 🤦

So Claudia's 500th performance is December 1947, rather than Fall; sorry y'all.

@usuallydeepalpaca-blog pointed out that Lestat probably wasn't referring to THE French Championships, but a different France vs Australia match at Roland-Garros on September 17-18, 1949.

(DANG, I hope the Australians watched their necks in 1949! 💀 They effing won the mens' doubles in that match! 😅)

Jokes aside though, AMC has A LOT of explaining to do here. I'd assumed Les was referring to the 1950 French Championships:

But IF the September 17-18th 1949 games are what Les was talking about, that means he arrived around Sept 5th, and the Trial happened barely two weeks later!? 😰

Which means the rehearsal took barely no time at all; and most importantly: Claudeleine got ZERO TIME to wander. 😩💔

1950

This is a BIG problem, AMC:

Does anyone know what interview this was, where Jacob(?) said Claudeleine were together for months+?

I couldn't find it, but I DID find an interview with Roxane that said basically the same thing, which WORRIES ME.

Cuz "quite a time stretch" just DOES NOT WORK, if September 5, 1949 - January 9, 1950 is THE LIMIT for everything that happens from Madeleine's turning to Madeleine's death.

Which tells me that if anything, AMC's props department effed up not once, but TWICE, and actually had no effing idea when the Theatre burned down. 😅

Regardless, I added the nodes to account for al these shenanigans.

TL;DR: I no longer have any frikkin idea what's going on with the S2 timeline, esp. after Ep6. 😔

I love this show, it's excellent, 100/10. But laaaaawwwwwwd, I'm confused; and TIRED.

This is a blog dedicated to Journey to the West, where anyone interested may join in and follow along in a journey through Wu Cheng’en’s classic. This reading group will be focused on the Anthony C. Yu English translation, which the ever-interesting and enlightening @journeytothewestresearch has helped provide completely free to download and read as pdfs! The link can be found below:

In full awareness that everyone has their own busy lives and differing schedules, this reading group is working off of a “do-as-you-want” model. Everyone is welcome to submit their analysis, art, reactions, memes, criticisms, additions of context, etc. as we make our way through the journey, but there is no pressure but to have fun with the work!

That said, there is a reading schedule. This reading group has now made it through Volumes 1, 2 and 3 of this classic, and will start up Volume 3 on April 13, 2025. The reading schedule encourages all interested to read one JTTW chapter per week. This group then "meets" every Sunday, which is be the day participants are encouraged to finish that week's chapter and/or submit their creative/analytical pieces about it. Sunday will also be the day where I will give a quick recap of that week's chapter, and will mass reblog anything participants submitted to have that work in the archive. Again, this blog has now made it through Volumes 1, 2 and 3 and will start keeping to the reading schedule for Volume 4 starting April 13, so please have read “Chapter 76: Mind-Spirit dwells at home, and demons revert to nature; Wood Mother together subdues the fiend's true self” by then. You’ll find the reading schedule for Volume 4 below, and while not necessary I do encourage everyone to give a look at Yu’s introduction to this text in Volume 1 as well.

I want to end by stressing that it is completely understandable that new members would be concerned about joining after the reading schedule has officially started, and indeed after we have made it through three volumes. As such, I want to confirm that while this group encourages people to send in their submissions on Sunday for the chapter covered that week, you should feel completely free to both submit your stuff on any day of the week that’s best for you, as well as to send in art, memes, analysis, commentary, etc. for every chapter that has already been covered according to the reading schedule. In other words, all I’m going to ask is that your “late” submissions are in line with what happens in Volumes 1 and 2 and/or chapters in Volume 3 that the group has already read as laid out in the reading schedule below. So for example you should feel free to submit the sketches you made about Chapters 71, 72, 73, 74, and 75 on the Monday-Saturday of the week following the Sunday this book club finished Chapter 75, but please save your meme about Chapter 76 for the Sunday that chapter was scheduled to be read. So start, read, and submit as you can!

ROMANTICIZING STUDY📚

Romanticizing study means Studying in a way that you don't feel bored, sleepy and tired. It can also be referred as "Aesthetic Study" that is a lot more popular term in pinterest.

A lot of students always gets bored up and frustrated while studying when in real they don't even study properly for an hour with focus. Why does this happen lemme tell you the reason behind this:

-Common Mistakes-

1. Overwork

Many students overwork and get tired. They think studying the whole day will give them straight A but it's not true. In fact, overwork leads to stress and frustration.

2. Unrealistic goals

Students tend to make unrealistic goals like working 12 hrs a day. It's a bad idea to make such goals.

3. Packed schedule

Students make a mistake while making a schedule. They forget that rest is too important. And make a heavy schedule. Many students study heavily before a week of exams, because they didn't study for months and then in the end they overwork with packed schedule.

4. Less resting hours

While studying, many students don't take proper rest. For eg. You should work for 30 minutes and then take 15 minutes rest.

5. Wrong method of learning

Many students learn in the wrong way. They should analyse which method suits them.

6. Not making a time table

Time table is very important as it keeps everything smooth. Day wise time table is very effective.

For eg. Monday : English, Economics, Accounts

Tuesday: Commerce, management studies, Accounts

7. Not knowing your strength and weakness

Many students just don't know which subjects are easy for them and need less effort and which of their subjects are weak and need more time and effort.

-Study Hacks-

1. Pomodoro timer

It's a very useful app, it gives 25 minutes for work and 5 minutes for rest. This way we get time for everything.

2. Useful study apps

There are many study apps available nowadays. To do list apps, notes app like notion and many more. You can find many aesthetic apps. It makes you productive and keeps your records. It also ensures productivity in a fun way.

3. Blurting method

In this method read a specific concept for 4-5 times and understand the concept and then write whatever your brain remembers.

4. Make aesthetic notes

Making aesthetic notes is a hack for studying all the time. It makes you feel better and motivated. Those beautiful handwriting with highlighters make it look eye catching and it attracts your mind to study more.

5. Mindmaps

Mindmaps are creative as well as aesthetic. It makes learning easier and attractive. It makes learning fun!!

6. Weekly test

Weekly tests reveal where you stand in your academics.

7. Analysing your strength and weakness

Analyse which is your favourite or strong subject and which is your weak subject.

8. Make a timetable

For eg: Day wise which subject you're going to focus on. Remember the subject in which you're weak should be given more time and effort.

9. Revise

Whatever you read or memorize in a day revise it at night time. Take a quick revision of 15 minutes just read it out once.

10. Maintain Records

Maintain a record of everything you do. Make deadlines. Give challenges. Make schedules for weekly tests. This way you'll become productive and you'll also know where you stand in your academics. Make a list of chapters you want to prepare and after preparing cut it down as a completed task.

Conclusion: Just remember that only marks don't matter. It's also important to develop new skills, love yourself, take care of yourself, do what makes your soul happy and peaceful and take time to love and talk to god.
