Mickey bites his lip. Shifts his gaze to the side for a beat. Flicks back to Ian. “You got your phone?”

In the short time it takes the words to register in Ian’s mind, his heart rate skyrockets. “Yeah, why?”

“Wh– really?”

“Just don’t be postin’ my mug to Instabook.”

The power/internet in my town has been off since Tuesday due to a windstorm @Mega-AuLover. It's supposed to come on this afternoon, but all I can say is we'll see. The electric company has been stringing us along all week. Anyway I wrote 218 words at the beginning of the week. I'm currently at an open library (with power) going through email, tumblr, etc..

EDIT: Just got message the power isn't coming back today.

NEW EDIT: It might come on this afternoon. I hate the way they are toying with us.

Week 47 of 2024

This week I edited, 132 word count.

It was all about last minute editing, for my @fuhr. As you know, editing is my least favorite thing lol.

How can I tell what I’ve edited or where I’ve left off if I go back and write, well I have a trick. I change the color of the font when I edit or when I’m typing to keep track of what I’ve edited and even when I’m writing. I’ll add something new to the story and realize I need to reference this plot point or storyline, I’ll go back to where I believe it should be added and add that bit under the color of the day/edit. So this way I’ll know what day I was editing or writing. I typically do Red for the first pass/day, Green for the 2nd, Purple for the 3rd, Blue for the 4th, and Pink normally is the last color I use. 

So on Friday night when I queue up this post, I know what I did during the week. On Saturday everything goes back to black and the process begins again. 

How do you guys edit? How do you keep tabs of what you’ve written, do you italicize? Do you bold your letters? And most importantly how did you guys do?

That is lamentable.

You have to want to see,

look closely on my dark skin, in my dark heart, around my dark aura

Hundreds of millions like me experience this same emotion

the same way,

every time;

There’s nothing special about it

But only to the individual does it matter.

Still, I think myself unique

and carry on with the senseless emotions

and I smile that meaningless smile

all jokes aside tho, I don't really know what I was doing with this one, I just felt like experimenting and throwing stuff together for fun :0 still on the Hitman kick for now but who knows how long it'll last lol
