#When he accidentally summoned Fright Knight he was delighted

I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with having some Fright Knight x Timothy Drake any ideas?
Romantic:
- You could absolutely go the fun route of Tim experiencing so many Nightmares that Fright Knight takes interest in the hero and they start meeting up within Tim’s dreams. The effect of Fright Knight’s presence causes the nightmare to become even more frightful and yet also less terrifying to Tim because his Knight is by his side.
- Accidental marriage by a cult, sending Tim to the Fright Knight’s lair in the Ghost Zone. Initially Tim is well and truly terrified and not just because of the lingering sense of terror from being in the ghost’s realm. Fright Knight is also awkward because he hasn’t courted a human before so he has no idea what a romantic gesture is or how humans function. Hurt/Comfort and slow burn strangers to lovers ya know?
- Titans mission, everything is going to shit, they’re about to be overrun and all other hero groups are busy with their own battles or are not on earth so Tim has to throw a Hail Mary and summons his Fiancé.
Platonic (tbh you could easily swing the romantic ones to platonic and visa versa):
- Fright Knight first noticed Robin when he went to review the events that caused the death of Santa Claus (a deity he begrudgingly respected), went to learn more about the child. Reminded of Phantom and how often the Halfa got into trouble, he kept tabs on the young hero, delighted by his dramatic antics inspiring fear and causing havoc to enemies, the boy’s dismantling of the League of Assassins was his particular favorite.
-
Robin noticed there was a point in his life where he objectively became more terrifying. Rogues would shudder in his presence, Muggers would flee far more than fight, fear gas had a less of a hold on his mind, he even was less prone to being afraid… something was up. Cassie offhandedly mentioned the change being akin to having a godly patron but he didn’t believe it. He had to get to the bottom of this.
- Tim keeps seeing this reoccurring knightly figure during his Fear Gas trips. He initially thought nothing of it; people commonly have reoccurring nonsensical characters appear while under severe fear toxin poisoning but this particular being isn’t actively trying to harm or mentally damage him. The man in armor with a flaming sword will watch passively, seemingly drinking the scenario in and viewing the horrors play out like a theater production. Tim thought nothing of it until a Joker Gas attack that caused himself to nearly get crushed by falling rubble and the knight reached out and touched him, physically pushing him out of the way of becoming a human pancake.

Trapped Fear
At first Fright Knight was not loyal to Pariah, maybe it was because he was the combination of many warriors and he knew that tyranny would lead to nothing. However, because of this the former king engaged him in battle and captured his core, making him loyal.
Like all Ancients, Fright Knight could survive without his core but had to obey the person holding it. He and Clockwork shared that unfortunate fate, though Fright Knight considered being at the mercy of the Observants far worse.
When Danny defeated Pariah Dark his control over Fright Knight stopped, the knight foolishly thought he would take back what was his, but the old king was selfish and thrown the stone of fear into the human world, where he knew Fright Knight would not enter.
Disappointed but used to it, Fright Knight resigned to not finding that part of himself, he served Danny from that moment on, becoming his protector and above all, his friend. Until someone found his core and instead of being free, he was summoned and resigned to fulfill the words of his new owner.
Of course, Danny was worried when his knight disappeared from Phantom Palace, and after a long search he found his whereabouts in a city: Gotham. A man called "Scarecrow" was spreading fear in the city, and it seemed very familiar to him.
After a fight with the bats he got the information he needed: his knight was following the man. When he went to face his old friend, the king noticed that Fright Knight was not speaking on his will, he was crying and sending messages of help that only he could understand. The King was furious, and maybe it was time to show why no one messed with what was his.
