So apparently there's a Geotag somewhere around my work, and it has become so much of a problem that I had to make this.

Our flower beds looked turned over this morning, and then about an hour ago a couple started digging through the mulch and trying to remove our rocks.
We just had flower beds redone for Autumn a week ago.
#This is one of the stupidest signs I've ever had to make.#i don't mind the geotagging i think it's cool but ripping up private property is a shit thing to do.#what is wrong with some people#work place#work life#geotagging#geotagged#geotag#this s what i've been dealing with today#🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Everytime I write a mail to my boss, I take a deep breath and ask myself: „how would a man write this?“ and then I delete all: „maybe“ „would“ „could“ and add a lot of „I propose“ „I already initiated“

hi :) I apologise if this is too vague, first of all. How do I stop doing things the hard way? Ever since I was young, I’ve always been told to work hard and do things with 100% effort.
Now that I’m in the workplace - in a corporate environment - how do I stop doing this? I’m currently in a professional struggle with transitioning in my career and I realised that this process was a straight line for other people while it’s been full of delays and rejections and standstills for me. I don’t know what I can do to (a) not take things so seriously and do things on hard mode (b) still work hard but work smart so things work out easily for me.
Hi love! I relate to this one, deeply.
The first thing I would say is to try to reframe your mindset from "there's so much to do and so much at stake" to "I have a few priority responsibilities and a few other things that are probably in my best interest to get done. These tasks involve a step-by-step process that I can follow if I focus and am motivated to complete these tasks, so I can get them off my mind "
Some reframes to help you let go of this stress & perfectionism:
Completion is better than perfection – starting a task and seeing where it goes is usually the best course of action. Relying on feeling inspired doesn't work often enough to be a sustainable method. Try the smallest step possible to get you started and allow yourself to get momentum as you get your body/mind into the work. You can always revise and edit your work later, but getting it laid out is essential to have great revised work anyway
Ensure you're prioritizing correctly. Keep a list of things you must do for the day/over the course of the week to meet the deadlines/metrics that matter (in this case to your boss and boss' boss). Make sure these tasks and projects are always done on time/ahead of the deadline and revised carefully after you first make yourself complete it (but take breaks, please)
Be organized but flexible with the rest of your tasks/priorities. Consider these tasks as "nice to haves" that can move the needle if done with organized effort and some passion to do a good job
Communicate with those around you to get a temperature check on the importance/urgency of any of your tasks. If your boss isn't too worried about a certain task, just ensure to complete it on time with your best effort available at the time – overthinking it or placing more emphasis than necessary on a given projection/situation only draws more attention & scrutiny to this assignment and yourself/your performance
Hope this helps xx

tw, I need some advice, but if you're uncomfortable reading about sexual harassment, then don't read
I work in a field where I have to deal with people all day long, and I work the night shifts. i have gotten lots of men before complement me and stuff but monday night this guy cam through and told me i was pretty, i said thank you. he than asked me if i was married, i said no, im only 25, he then started to talk about how big his dick was and all the things he would do if i gave him a chance. I am not even kidding, this made me so uncomfortable I wanted to get my manager, but she spends half the night in the restroom. He continued this for about 2-3 minutes before he left. I then went to the bathroom to just get away, and when I came out, he was standing there. I don't know what to do, whether I should quit my job or not. I've already been thinking about quitting because I do not get paid enough to deal with these kinds of things.
if you have any advice please let me know
