Another sibling just got tested for ADHD. Part of me is very amused. I have many siblings, and most of us likely have ADHD. I got diagnosed and the others are getting knocked down like bowling pins.

On the other hand, there's something poignant or touching about the fact that I set this in motion. It was hard and a little bit soul-wrenching to drag myself into getting a diagnosis over the course of two years, and now my siblings are getting diagnosed now, without having to go as long as I did. They will have answers and help, and I made it that little bit easier for them.

When I got diagnosed, my parents were neutral, and a little confused as to why I cared or what the point was. They weren't discouraging, but they clearly didn't think there would be any benefit to pursuing this. That's changed—I've learned a lot about myself and things have gotten a lot easier, and it's been clearer and clearer that more of us have ADHD and are honestly more impaired than I am, and they seem if anything regretful that they didn't know sooner how helpful this could be, or that it was needed. They're suggesting siblings get tested and helping them follow through.

idk. A sibling reached out to me and asked what medication I was taking. Nobody was there for me when I started, but someone will be there for them now.

A Battletech Rant+Poll

Continuing my descent into Battltech Lore, I have decided that I hate the name given to the Draconis Combine's military.

It's called the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery, and to me it sounds it is so very, very stupid. My initial assumption was that it's supposed to be a translation of something that sounds better in Japanese, but was told that this is not the case either in- or out-of-universe, so I am at a total loss.

The only other thing I could think of would be if they were trying to give ever faction's military a unique name and ran out of good ones, but no, something like half of them are either the XAF or AFX, with a few XDF's mixed in, and the Clans are all Clan X Touman.

-Today on Avoiding MSQ, I learnt how to taunt after 80 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY. I messed around to screenshot and record Albel's and Fayt's. It was nice to hear them say other things T_T

-I also did the A rank and S rank for Team battles. Turns out that I'm currently S rank leveled lol. For the first time in a while, I got Battle Bonus gauge with Albel/Fayt/Cliff (my main team).

Afterwards, I decided to test out B rank solo with Albel bc I forgot if I did so already. I want to try out A rank and then B and A Ranks with Fayt but I want to make Duck Duck bombs to help me in battle lol

-At work, I looked at the two new Fayt/Albel art dumps bc NEW FANART. As much as I love them, I couldn't help but think about what the youtuber XDF had said about Albel and Kuja from FFIX. He had mentioned, iirc, how they were more Androgynous character designs than masculine designs. The new fanart has Albel with his long hair down and in certain feminine poses, making it very easy to confuse him for a woman. Also doesn't help that they had drawn him in outfits traditionally reserved for girls.

Still. I love the fanart. Now I want to know what cold weather outfits they were imagining. The artist did a small drawing of Fayt hugging Albel in sweaters.

-Anyway, back to the game: I am still debating whether I should start creating a Double EXP Laser Weapon or if I should fully commit to my Demon Slayer. OR....or if I should finally start spoiling Cliff and make him an Orichalcum'd weapon bc he's the one attacking all the time. I am well aware that I'm going to be given Synthesis Materials and I want to make sure I actually get to keep them lol. The reason I'm hesitant is I was made aware of the powerful weapons that are going to be given in Sphere 211. One part of me wants to wait so my Synthesis Materials don't go to waste but another part of me wants to use them so I can survive future hard encounters. I know that the max level is 255!!
