man i was rereading my carrd rules for a bit and i STILL stand by what i said about felix and Dimitri. On fact i think over the years, and with the help of therapy, its become even more cemented in stone about how felix acts towards Dimitri is not abl*sm but actually genuine fear and pain.
I think people really like to put blame on a single individual here, and when it comes to felix, its so easy to use and see him as 'the problem' when the reality is that he is also goong through his own ptsd and hus own trauma.
And to be abel*st in the first place, he would have to be aware of dimitri's mental health, which he doesnt actually know. He's terrified of him and sad becaause he thinks the person he knew is dead.
What he does isn't out of malice, and therefore cannot be identified as that.
The same actually goes with people calling him misogynistic. Because, quite frankly, if anybody were to actually look at Felix' supports properly, theyd see that he has actually some of the more endearing interactions WITH females as opposed to males.
But also, his attitude and personality is more 'assholey' in nature because, again, the guy went through some intense trauma as a kid ( both woth losing his brother but also witnessing a side of dimitri that he never saw before and didnt know how to properly process what he saw ) and never got to properly address that because their CULTURE just doesnt properly address mental health in a healthy way.
Anyway sorry for the rambling. Im just GUH about felix... like im not saying hes not an asshole. Because he is. But i think what im trying to say is that he does it to everybody equally and its not out of hatred for a specific group of people or anything. He is loterally just taking out a lot of his frustrations towards the entire world. Its not as targeted as people think it is and i really wish others saw that instead of just mislabeling him.
#hc.#No but i think the issue is that#The story of fe3h is that there are no real victors here#Nobody is right and everybody is wrong#Essentially...#I also think that people are just WAY too quick to cry wolf#Instead of seeing the bigger issues#Yea felix could have handled things better but man...#I dont think anybody at his age would have known how to properly handle the situation#ESPECIALLY given the time period and their culture#Where mental health wasnt something that was discussed openly#That and yea he was processing some really traumatic things too#I dont think he really had the energy to be malicious when he was in a perpetual state of mourning

Vacation on Isle Esme
Word Count: 6,989 Demetri x OC Part 7. Warning; Fluff, NSFW
“What’s going on with Ally?” Felix asked over Carlisle’s shoulder “I don’t know Felix, Demetri can’t wake her” Carlisle replies “I’ll get the plane ready and go and bring them home” Felix replies leaving the room “Demetri, Felix is coming out to Rio to bring you both home” Carlisle advises him “I know you’re worried but you need to stay calm, as long as Ally’s breathing she’ll be ok. Gently lay her on her side on the bed and pack your things because as soon Felix arrives you need to be ready to leave, ok?” Carlisle continues “O-Ok. T-Thank you Carlisle” Demetri replies low.
Ally woke up in Demetri’s arms “D-Demi” “Oh Ally” He breathed “Don’t ever scare me like that again” He kissed her forehead holding her closer to him “I-I’m sorry. I’d been sick…and… felt a bit lightheaded…and…and… I’m guessing I passed out” She replied softly “I came back and found you on the bathroom floor…I-I couldn’t wake you” He said low “I’m sorry” “You’re awake, safe and in my arms, that’s all I care about for now. Felix will be here soon and Carlisle is waiting for us back at the castle” He says quietly as she snuggles into him “I love you Dem” “I love you too.”
“Demetri, Ally” Felix calls out when he arrives “In here” Demetri calls out; Felix enters the bedroom and sees them both lying on the bed, Ally’s eyes closed “Is…Is she ok?” Felix asks voice shaky “Yea, she came round a few hours ago. She’s sleeping now though” Felix nods “I can’t begin to tell you how scared I was Fe, when I came back and found her…” Demetri trailed off looking into the bathroom “I can imagine D…Come on let’s get you both home, Carlisle’s waiting for you” Demetri nods and carries Ally out of the house as Felix grabs the suitcases.
Once back in the castle Carlisle comes to Demetri and Ally’s room to check on her “How are you feeling Ally?” He asks “Nauseous, a little light-headed again” Ally answered quietly “Ok, let’s have a look at you” Carlisle adds but before he can Ally runs into the bathroom and throws up what little food she ate for breakfast. “Carlisle is-is she going to ok?” Demetri asks concern clearly shown on his face “I can’t lose her” “Yes Demetri. She’ll be just fine as long as she takes my advice and you support her 100%” Carlisle replies “Of course I’ll support her. Why wouldn’t I?” Demetri says as he walks into the bathroom; putting her hair into a low ponytail before sitting down beside her rubbing her back gently. “Ally, I know what’s wrong with you” Carlisle says standing in the bathroom doorway “W-What is it?” She asks low not looking up “You’re pregnant Ally” Carlisle replies “Pr-pregnant? But th-that’s not…Oh my god…” Ally struggles to string a reply together before throwing up again. She looks over at Demetri; a look of surprise clearly shown in on his face. “How?” Demetri asks “Well now Demetri at your age I would have thought you knew how babies were made” Carlisle said smirking; Ally choked back a laugh “I know that Carlisle, I meant how could I let this happen? Aro told us how after seeing Edward’s and Renesmee’s thoughts that Bella died just after she gave birth…” Ally put her hand on his arm “I should have remembered that. I should been more careful with you mi amore” He turned her to face him and looked into her eyes “Forgive me. Please” He begged low “There is nothing to forgive my love. I get to have a baby with you, my husband, the man I love” She cups his face in her hands and places a kiss to his lips.
“All that matters now is that Ally follows my advice” Carlisle says “Of course Carlisle. Will you be staying until the baby arrives?” “Yes. I’ll be your doctor through this. I know what to expect this time around. You will need to drink blood daily as the baby requires it and it’ll help keep you healthy through the pregnancy. I will perform a caesarean when it’s time to deliver the baby. We just need to work out roughly how far along you are” Carlisle replies “She needs to drink blood? But she’s human Carlisle” Demetri asks thinking he may have heard wrong “Yes Demetri. We figured that out a little late with Bella I’m afraid” “Ok. When do I need to start drinking blood Carlisle?” She asked “As soon as possible” He replied.
There was a knock on the door “Hi baby girl. How are you feeling?” Renee asks as she wraps her arms around Ally “I’m ok mom” She replied “Do you know why you passed out whilst you were away?” “Yes mom. It turns out I’m pregnant” Ally responds “W-what? How is that possible?” Renee asks shocked “It turns out that male vampires are able to father children with human females. We only found this out last year when Bella got pregnant” Carlisle replies “Wait. Bella’s a mom too? Why wasn’t I told?” “Because Bella’s a vampire now and humans aren’t allowed to know about us” Carlisle replies “Bella only has Charlie in her life because of her friend Jake” He adds “I need you mom” Ally tightens her hold around Renee “I’m here baby girl” Renee says holding Ally closer stroking her hair “Are you happy about the news?” “Yes mom. We are” “Then congratulations to you both” Renee says smiling reaching out to Demetri who steps forward wrapping one arm around Ally and the other around Renee “Thank you Renee” He says low.
Once Carlisle and Renee leave, Ally goes to the closet to change and places her hand on her stomach “I-I have a baby bump” She says low, Demetri having followed her into the closet now notices the slight swelling of Ally’s stomach and wrapped him arms around her from behind resting his hands on her bump “How-how did I not notice before?” “We were otherwise engaged Demi” She says chuckling lightly, she feels him smile against her neck “You look so beautiful darling” He spoke softly in her ear before placing a kiss to her temple “I love you cara and I’m right here with you” Ally smiled and turned in his arms “I love you too Dem”
The following day Carlisle comes to check on Ally bringing her some blood bags, Esme coming with him. Alice and Jasper come by shortly afterwards “Congratulations you two” Alice says grinning wide, gently hugging Ally then Demetri. “You know you’re going to have to stop sending human/vampire couples to Isle Esme for their honeymoon, right mom? Because we’re currently two for two. There’s obviously ‘something’ about that place” Jasper says laughing; Esme smiles but doesn’t answer him as Carlisle and Demetri choke back a laugh “Yea, mom and Marcus are not allowed to go to Isle Esme together whilst she’s still human” Ally says pointing at Carlisle and Esme; both of them nodding at her smiling.
The following morning Demetri, Ally and Felix are watching TV and Demetri is making sure Ally drinks the cup of blood Carlisle bought by as she’s snuggled up beside him. “Hi sweetie, just me. Thought we could catch up” Jane said as she entered the room. “Sounds good” Ally replies “So what happened with you and Felix after we left for Rio? I mean you two were dancing all evening together” Ally asks curiously. “Felix walked me back to me room at the end of the night and kissed me goodnight. It wasn’t entirely unpleasant” Jane replies with a little smile “Aww. That’s so sweet” Ally says smiling at Jane and Felix. “That goodnight kiss became two…which then led to something more intimate” Felix said smiling; Jane looked at her hands, if she was human she’d be blushing “See Dem I told you there was something between them” Ally says nudging Demetri’s arm “Just because they spent the night together it doesn’t mean they’re actually together though” He says eyeing Felix who just smirks at him “He held me in his arms afterwards, like how Demetri holds you when you sleep” Jane says quietly “Aww so does this mean…” Ally started but stopped when Felix wrapped his arms around Jane and she snuggled into his side “Told you” Ally whispers low in Demetri’s ear; Demetri smiles “Wonder what Alec thinks about the two of you” He muses “I think it’s funny that Jane still pain drops his ass despite them being intimate with one another” Alec answers smiling, entering the room.
“How’s Ally doing?” Felix asked as he entered Demetri’s room a few nights later “She’s doing ok. Carlisle said she’s handling the pregnancy better than Bella did, but I think that’s due to Carlisle knowing what to expect this time around. I mean Ally has been drinking blood since we got back whereas apparently it took them about a week before they realised that Bella needed to drink blood to get her through it” “Well that’s good at least. You’re lucky Carlisle extended his stay with us” Felix replied “Yea, I don’t think it was luck, I think it was Alice” Demetri said smiling looking down Ally asleep in his arms “You think she knew?” “Yes Fe, I think at some point whilst we were away, she had a vision and told Carlisle. He called me just after I found her passed out; asked me if she was ok. He seemed too calm and wasn’t surprised by her symptoms, in fact he had a supply of blood bags ready and waiting for her” “Never thought of it like that before, either way it’s a good thing they’re here” Felix added, Demetri nodded.
Demetri, Felix and Alec had to go on a mission to deal with a few rogues in Spain and were gone for two days; so Ally decided to use some of this time to google baby names; writing down some ideas to discuss with Demetri when he got back.
The night he returns home Demetri and Alyssa sit and discuss baby names in front of the fire “We need to have a think about baby names” Demetri said looking at Ally. “I’m already ahead of you. I had a think about baby names whilst you were away and decided that I’d like to honour your Greek heritage; so I googled Greek names and for a girl I wrote down my three favourite; Catalina – it means chaste / pure, Olena – means torch of light and Sirena – meaning enchantress. My favourite three for a boy are; Galen – it means calm / peaceful, Nikolaos – means victor of people and Xander – means defender of man. What do you think?” She asks holding his hands in hers “Wow! You have given it some thought and it means a lot to me that you want to honour my Greek heritage. I quite like Catalina for a girl and Galen for a boy” Demetri responded smiling “We really are made for each other” Demetri looks at her eyebrow raised “Those were my favourite names from the list too. Did you have any ideas?” “No, that’s why I thought we could discuss baby names, but we have our favourites now.” Demetri replied smiling. “Ok then but for now it’s Baby Volturi” Ally said placing a hand on her baby bump; one of Demetri’s hands doing the same.
Later that night Demetri held Ally in his arms as she slept ‘I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad’ he thought to himself smiling. Ally was woken up by the baby moving about “Oh” She said rolling over feeling the baby kick “Give me your hand Demi” She says placing his hand on her belly “What are you…” He was cut off when he felt the baby kick his hand; Ally looked over to see shock then happiness wash over his face. The baby kicked again “Not sure he’s a fan of your cold hands” She laughed “Or maybe he’s just saying hi to daddy, isn’t that right little one?” Demetri says to her belly and the baby kicks again “See daddy was right” He sounded a bit smug; he then proceeded to talk to the baby quietly whilst Ally went back to sleep, telling the baby all about how he met mommy, how he’s looking forward to meeting him and how he will love and protect them both forever.
Ally woke up to find Demetri on his laptop beside her in bed “Morning mi amore. Sleep well?” “Morning Demi. Mmm once the baby stopped kicking” She replied “What are up to?” “Looking online at cribs, never realised there were so many to choose from, but I like this one. It’s light brown in colour so it will go well in the nursery. It’s easy to assemble and turns into bed when they’re old enough to need one” He replies “That sounds great Demi” “Glad you like it as it arrives the day after tomorrow”
They turned the empty room opposite theirs into a nursery for the baby; everyone lending a hand to get everything ready for the baby’s arrival. The walls were painted cream and Esme and Ally painted a jungle themed mural on one wall complete with tigers. Alice and Jasper bought a pair of big stuffed elephants that sat in a corner near some brightly coloured building blocks “We couldn’t decide between the blue or beige elephant so we bought both” Alice said smiling “Of course you did” Ally replied smiling. Demetri assembled the crib and the chest of drawers on his own refusing any help but he let Felix put the shelves up when Felix declared it was his ‘duty’ as uncle to help get the room prepared.
Renee and Ally celebrated Christmas with Marcus and Demetri by watching Christmas movies together whilst Renee and Ally ate a small Christmas dinner, although Ally had to drink a glass of blood afterwards in order to satisfy the baby’s need “Sorry mom, this must seem weird to you” Ally said low apologising to Renee “Don’t apologise. I get it the baby needs blood; he is half vampire after all. I’m just looking forward to meeting the little one” Renee replies smiling “I think it’s time we exchanged presents” Marcus said handing Renee two beautifully wrapped presents; the first one being a deep blue knee length short sleeve dress, the second being a first edition copy of her favourite book ‘Pride and Prejudice’ “Thank you Marcus, the dress is gorgeous and I love the book” She kisses his lips “This is for you. I hope you like it” Renee said handing him his gift; a copy of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ “It’s perfect mi amore” Marcus said giving Renee a kiss “I noticed your copy was looking a bit battered and I wasn’t sure what else to get you” She replied smiling. Demetri handed Ally a beautifully wrapped box and inside was mosaic photo frame with the word ‘Family’ across the top “I thought we could put pictures of us and the baby in it. I hear humans do that sort of thing” He said looking at Ally with a big grin “We do and it’s a great idea, thank you” She kissed his lips and gave him a hug before passing him his gift; ‘First Time Parent’ parenting book “Figured it would help you and Felix out whilst I’m going through my transformation” She said smiling wide; Renee and Marcus trying not to laugh “I love it thank you. I must confess I bought a parenting book myself a few days ago” He responded wrapping his arms around her “I have no idea how to take care of a baby so I’m hoping your mom helps too” He added looking at Renee “Of course I’ll help that’s what Nanas are for” She replied smiling and snuggled into Marcus’ side.
Everyone gathered on the castle roof to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks that were being let off around the city “Happy New Year mi amore” Demetri whispered in Ally’s Ear “Happy New Year to you too” She leant up placing a kiss to his lips.
January 6th – Baby Volturi’s arrival.
Carlisle and Jasper had turned one of the guest rooms into a make-shift hospital room ready for Ally’s caesarean. That morning Demetri was fussing over Ally “How are you? Do you need anything? How’s the baby?” “Demi calm down, I’m fine; the baby’s fine, the only thing I need is you. Come and sit with me…I need a hug” She replied patting the space beside her on the sofa; he sat beside her and gently held her burying his nose in her hair letting her scent calm him. A few hours later Demetri and Ally made their way to the room Carlisle had set up for them; he and Renee were waiting for them “How are you today Ally?” Carlisle asked as Demetri helped her get comfortable on the bed “I’m ok thanks, just a little nervous” She answered low “You’ll be ok, I promise. You’ve handled your pregnancy a lot better than Bella handled hers, but then I knew what to expect this time” He said reassuringly “I’ll be here with you the entire time amore” Demetri says softly stroking her hair and placing a kiss to her forehead. Renee was acting as the nurse as Demetri didn’t want any other vampires in the room with them due to the blood. “Dem you can wait outside if you need to; please don’t make yourself uncomfortable” Ally squeezes his hand a little “Ally I’m fine and there is nowhere else I would rather be right now” Demetri kisses the back of her hand his eyes closed; his forehead resting gently against hers, Renee watching them with a big smile on her face ‘He truly does love and adore her’ she thinks to herself. The silence in the room is broken with the soft cries of a baby “Congratulations it’s a healthy baby girl” Carlisle says handing the baby to Demetri.
Demetri looked down at his newborn daughter in his arms and the first thing he noticed was her blue eyes…his blue eyes; the blue eyes he lost when he became immortal. He fell in love for the second time in his long life “Hello little one, I’m your daddy and I love you so very much. I will protect you and your mommy forever” He placed a kiss to her forehead and breathed in her scent then looking up at his mate he smiled “Thank you. You’ve given me something I never thought I’d have in this life, a family. I think I love you more now than ever Ally” He leant down capturing her lips in a soft kiss “I didn’t do it on my own handsome; she’s fifty percent you, so thank you to you too.” She said smiling before kissing him “I love you so much Demi”
“Sorry to interrupt the lovely moment but I think there’s another one” Carlisle says looking at Demetri. Demetri's eyes widen in shock. “Santo cazzo…” He breathed, the swear word slipping out effortlessly. Carlisle's eyebrows raised, but he didn't say anything. "There's…there's two..?? You're telling me I have two children..?" Demetri added, an awed smile appearing on his face as he exchanged a glance with Ally. She looked just as blindsided as he felt in that moment. He couldn’t believe it; he had been blessed with not just one, but two beautiful children, to help carry on his bloodline.
“Let me hold her Dem” Ally asked and he passed her their daughter to hold. Carlisle then handed Demetri his newborn son; who had Ally’s chocolate brown eyes. Demetri looked down at his son and fell in love for the third time in his long life “Hello son, I’m your daddy and I love you so very much” He held him close; his eyes filling with venom “I’ll protect you forever too” Demetri placed a kiss to his head; breathing in his scent “He’s perfect. They’re both perfect. Thank you Ally, mi amore.” He kissed her lips softly “He’s fifty percent you too Demi” Ally chuckled.
Carlisle stitched Ally up leaving her with a neat scar and administered some morphine for the pain. “Thank you Carlisle. I really appreciate everything you have done for us” Demetri said shaking his hand “You’re very welcome. I’m glad things worked out for you both” Carlisle replied smiling.
There’s a knock at the door “Only us” Esme says and she and Marcus enter the room “Hi Ally, how are you?” Esme asks “I’m ok thanks to Carlisle, mom and Demi” She replies “Would you like to meet our grandchildren Marcus?” Renee asks “I would love…wait…grandchildren?” He asks surprised “Yes master; Ally and I have son and a daughter” Demetri replies, smiling proudly “Congratulations my dear boy” Marcus smiled wide shaking his hand “And you Ally my dear are most amazing. Congratulations” He kisses her forehead “Thank you Marcus” Ally says smiling. Marcus moves to stand by Renee who is now holding their granddaughter; Demetri sits beside Ally as he passes their son to her. “Have you decided on their names?” Esme asked curious “Well we had a boy’s name and a girl’s name picked out ready as we didn’t know what we were having, so I suppose we can use both names now. Demetri would you like to tell them?” Ally asked smiling; Demetri nodded and smiled back “I’d like to introduce you all to our son Galen Volturi and our daughter Catalina Volturi” “Beautiful names and Greek if I’m not mistaken” Esme replies “Thank you. Ally wanted to honour my Greek heritage so she googled Greek baby names” Demetri replied smiling “I love the names you’ve chosen” Renee adds smiling.
Carlisle carried Ally carefully back to her and Demetri’s shared room so Demetri could turn her whilst Renee and Esme cleaned and dressed the twins, staying in the guest room with them whilst Demetri and Ally spent a little bit of time together before he changed her “I’ll be in the hallway if you need me Demetri” Carlisle said “Thank you.”
Demetri climbed on the bed carefully beside Ally and wrapped his arm around her “I just want to hold you once more before I turn you. I’m going to miss hearing your heartbeat when I hold you and when you sleep bedside me. I’m also going to miss your warmth. I love you so much Ally.” “I love you too” Ally responds; he unwraps his arm from her and positions himself so he is hovering above her, leaning down he kisses her neck, venom collecting in his mouth before biting her; letting his venom flow through her system, he then licks the wound to close it. “I’ll see you in a few days mi amore” He kisses her lips and rests his forehead against hers “I love you.”
Esme and Renee bring the twins to Demetri’s room and place them in the crib together “I’m going to have to get another crib as soon as possible, now there’s two babies” Demetri said “In fact we’re going to have a second set of everything” He continued “It was definitely a surprise when Carlisle said there was a second baby” Renee added “Would you like us to change Ally into something different?” Esme asks “Yes, if you wouldn’t mind. There’s a green sleeveless dress hanging up in her closet” Demetri replies. Renee and Esme change Ally into the dress and brush her hair out before leaving and going back to their rooms “I’ll be back a little later to help with the twins” Renee says as she gets ready to leave “Thank you Renee, I’d appreciate that” He replies.
Just as Renee and Esme leave Felix comes to see Demetri “”Hey Fe come meet my beautiful children” He said pride evident in his voice “Children as in plural?” Felix sounded shocked; Demetri chuckled “Yes Fe, Ally had twins. I have a son and a daughter and they’re gorgeous… perfect, like their mom” “Congratulations D. Our little human really is amazing” Felix replied looking at Ally and smiling “She not our little human any more Fe. She’s going through her transformation” “She’s still amazing and looks so peaceful D” “Carlisle gave her some morphine after her caesarean so that’s helping with the initial part of the transformation” Demetri smiled lovingly at Ally.
Meanwhile Ally is going through her transformation; ‘I felt Demi kiss my neck before he bit me letting his venom enter my system…the initial pain...wow! I know that mom and Esme changed me into a clean dress following my caesarean. It feels like my body is on fire; every nerve ending burns with his venom. I can feel my blood being replaced with venom; Demi’s venom. This is too much…I-I can’t do this.’ “I love you cara mia” She hears Demetri’s voice. ‘I can do this; I must do this… for Demi; for Galen and…Catalina.’ She not tries writhe too much despite the pain she is in; knowing that Demetri would feel bad enough, as he is the reason she is in this much pain.
On the second day of Ally’s transformation Demetri and Felix were holding the twins whilst watching The Hunger Games when they noticed Ally’s heartbeat slowing down “I know Bella completed her transformation in two days but I didn’t expect Ally to do the same” Demetri said looking over his shoulder “Carlisle did say that is was possible and let’s face it the fact they were both prepared for their change probably helps speed up the process for them” Felix says nodding in her direction. They decide to take the twins to Renee’s room “Can you watch them for me please? I think Ally’s going to wake up today and I’d like to take her hunting before she sees them again” Demetri asks “Of course I can, just come and find us when you’re ready” Renee responds smiling “Hello little ones, ready to spend the day with Nana and Grandpa?” The twins cooed in response.
Demetri returned to his and Ally’s shared room and stood at the balcony doors looking out over the garden; waiting for Ally to wake up as her heart beat had slowed right down now so he knew it would be soon. Ally’s heart stopped beating; the room now completely silent and Demetri looked over his shoulder to see her open her now red eyes. She could see everything more clearly; her eyes scanning the room and they fell on Demetri and she smiled wide, getting off the bed and running into his arms hugging him close “Oomph. You’re a lot stronger than I am now amore. It’s your turn not to break me” Demetri said into her ear “Sorry Demi” She pulled back a little and he took her in; eyes looking her up and down “Stunning baby” He ran his fingers through her hair that was now longer, brighter and fuller than before. He leans down and kisses her lips; his hands cupping her face “I love you Demi” She kisses him “I love you too” “How are the twins?” She asks “They’re amazing cara mia and so gorgeous” He smiles wide “Can I see them?” “I want to take you hunting first. Come on” He takes her hand in his and they make their way out of the castle, luckily it’s a cloudy day so they don’t have to worry about being exposed.
They leave Volterra to go hunting; Ally noticing every little thing as they run together including how fast Demetri is. He stops running and turns to catch her in his arms; Ally coming to a stop in his embrace. “Close your eyes and listen, tell me what you can hear” She closed her eyes and focused on listening to her surroundings. “I can hear faint chatter of people below; birds in the trees, traffic in the distance. It’s amazing Dem” “You’ve focused really well cara. Come with me and I’ll show you how to hunt. Stay close”
Ten minutes later they’re standing on the roof a building looking down at an alleyway that was about 5 minute walk from a bar. “Keep your eyes on those two” Demetri said pointing to a couple of drunks leaving the bar and making their way towards the alleyway; he took her hand in his “Jump with me cara” They landed silently in the alleyway below; Ally caught the scent of the couple and squeezed Demetri’s hand tightly “It’s ok cara. I’ve got you” She nods and brings her other hand to her throat feeling the burn “Not long now amore, just do as I do” He kisses her temple and releases her hand as the two men enter the alley and make their way towards them; once they are near enough she hears Dem say “Now amore” She watches as he grabs the man and sinks his teeth into his neck, the other goes to run but Ally is quicker and grabs him around the throat holding him to her chest and bites down on his neck, the warm blood flowing down her throat easing the burn. When she had drained the human she released him and he fell to the ground “Well done amore” Demetri says smiling and kisses her “Are you still thirsty?” “Thank you babe and just a little” She kisses him back “Let’s dispose of these two and then we’ll find you someone else.” Demetri snaps their necks and throws the couple into the nearby river and watches as the bodies wash away. “Come on cara” He takes her hand in his and they make their way towards another part of the city where they ‘share’ a human before disposing of them “You were amazing cara. You were fast, efficient and they were very clean kills for a newborn. I’m so proud of you” He wraps his arm around her, pulling her to his chest and kisses her “I learnt from the best” She kissed him back “Let’s go home” She laced her fingers with his and they made their way back to the castle.
They arrive back at the castle to find Felix and the twins waiting for them “How did our little newborn do?” Felix asks “She did great. She was fast, efficient and very clean for a newborn” Demetri replies his face and voice full of pride “Well done sweetie” Jane says smiling “Yes well done Ally. I must say you seem very calm for a newborn” Alec sounded impressed “Hopefully Aro will be just as pleased with you after the next tour” Felix adds; Demetri continues to look down at her with adoration, feeling proud of his mate “You think they’ll let me join the next ‘tour’?” She asks “Yes, especially once they hear how well you did on your first hunt” Felix replied.
Demetri and Ally make their way back to their room stopping by Marcus and Renee’s room to collect the twins “You look amazing my dear” Marcus says smiling at Ally “Thank you Marcus…or is it master now?” She replied “Marcus will do my dear” He smiled at her; Renee stayed seated on the sofa waiting for Ally to approach her “Hi mom” Ally sat beside her and carefully wrapped her arms around her “Hi baby girl” Renee replies hugging her back “Thank you for helping Demi with the twins” “No need to thank me that’s what Nanas are for. I’m looking forward to watching them grow up and spending forever with you all” “Me too mom” Ally replies smiling. “I’m impressed with her self-control Demetri, I must confess I was little worried how she’d be around Renee” Marcus said too low for Ally and Renee to hear “Thank you master. She also did amazingly well on her first hunt; she was fast, efficient and they were clean kills” He added smiling; Marcus chuckled and Demetri looked at him with an eyebrow raised “I think you’d be proud of Ally no matter what she was like as a newborn. I mean she could kill the postman tomorrow and you still be smiling and telling us all how proud of her you are” Demetri laughed too “You’re right master, I would be proud either way, but you know I’d cover for her, take responsibility for her” He said looking at Marcus “And that my dear boy is why we are allowing her to stay with us during her newborn phase. We know that you would take care of any ‘slip ups’ before they became an issue and so would Felix, Jane and Alec. She is also a new mom and we couldn’t separate her from you and the babies” Marcus replies “I’m guessing it also helps that Ally is now your step-daughter?” Demetri asks “It does. Your loyalty, your position as an elite guard and you being my personal bodyguard also went in her favour” Marcus added smiling “I have always thought of you as a son and now you are officially my son-in-law. We have a family to protect now” Marcus placed a hand on Demetri’s shoulder and nodded to the seating area where Ally and Renee were holding Galen and Catalina “Thank you master, that means a lot coming from you” Demetri responded “You can call me Marcus when we are not ‘working’ Demetri” “Ok, that’s going to take a little getting used to master…I mean Marcus” Demetri said smiling.
Once back in their room Demetri sat on the sofa beside Ally holding their daughter in his arms “I don’t care how quickly my little girl grows up; she’s not dating till she’s like 30, and even then if I don’t like him he’s gone” He said to Ally who was holding their son in her arms. “Now Dem, come on. You remember what it was like when my sister disapproved of you…of us” She replied “Yes I do. You stayed with me anyway. Hell you even left home at 17 and married me… gave me two beautiful children” He replied smirking but that smirk faded quickly when he realised what he just said “Annnnnd…there it is” Ally replied smirking and snuggled up to him “Oh Sshh you” He said pouting, kissing her hair.
Once they put the twins to bed they cuddled up on the sofa and watched a film together “Just for the record though I don’t regret anything and I am proud to be your wife and the mother of your children” “Glad to hear it mi amore as I am proud to be your husband and the father of your children in return”
Ally’s hand made its way down Demetri’s stomach fingertips brushing over his crotch and down his thigh then back up to his crotch cupping him and squeezing gently; he growled low “You like that?” She purred and repeated her action before climbing onto his lap straddling him, placing her hands on his cheeks she captured him in a passionate kiss; she bit his lip gently as she grinded against his hardening cock, his lips parting allowing her to deepen the kiss tongues dancing together. ‘He tastes better than I remember’ she thought to herself and started to unbutton his shirt her hands moving over his chest nails lightly scratching him; a light growl left him and he reached over and ripped off the dress she was wearing “Hey! I liked that dress” “I’ll buy you two new ones cara” He said smiling before getting off the sofa and laying her down on the rug in front of the fireplace; removing his trousers, boxers and her lace panties before settling himself between her legs. She wrapped her legs around him then rolled them over so she was on top and removed her bra “I’ll be gentle with you. I promise” She smiled and winked at him “You’d better” He winked back.
“Remember the last time we were in this position with you on top?” He asks smiling; she smiled back at him, and if she had still been human, she would've blushed for sure. "Oh, I remember..." She answered, gazing down at him. He smirked, his eyes taking in all of his mate's glorious beauty. "God, look at you, Ally..." He breathed, in awe. She bit back another smile, and he laughed softly. "What? Say it, amore." He coaxed gently. She gestured at him lovingly. "Me? Look at YOU, Dem... You're beautiful... I mean…" She said, quickly becoming a little flustered. He laughed again, taking her hands in his. "No, it's okay; I know what you meant..." He reassured her. "Come here, amore..." He added, his red eyes darkening slightly. Ally let a sharp little gasp escape her as she finally, finally lowered herself down onto her mate. Oh, sweet heavens alive, did he feel amazing...! She let out a soft groan at the same time Demetri did, as every last little part of her was now completely claimed by him. "Jesus, Ally..." Demetri said in a ragged, breathless whisper. "I know, Dem... I know…" She answered, moving her hips against his. As she looked down into those dark ruby eyes of his, he gave her a sudden knowing little smile. "What?" She asked, her own crimson irises sparkling with humour. "Just... We're the same temperature now, baby." He remarked, smirking up at her. Ally's eyes widened as she realized he was right: what was once ice, and cold and somewhat foreign to her before, was now warmth, and heat and just... Home. Comfortable, perfect, made for her in every way and shape, possible.
She bit her lip as she looked down at him. He gazed back up at her, his complete love and awe of her newfound immortal soul reflected in his eyes. "Yes, we are... it's perfect. You’re perfect..." She murmured, leaning down to kiss him. He kissed her back with fervour, urgency, a heat that he'd had to hold back on a little bit, when she was still human. But now that Ally was immortal, well... all bets were off. As his tongue intertwined with hers, he let out a shaky breath, her name escaping his lips in a soft moan. She kissed him harder in response, at the same time moving her hips forward on him so he entered her a little bit deeper than before. The new angle caused a groan to escape both of them; the sensations and heightened awareness was all too much, but in the most delicious way. Her head fell back, eyes closed and lips parted slightly as she continued to move her hips over his; his hands trailing up her sides and taking her breasts in his hands squeezing lightly “Ahh” She breathed her hands resting on his chest; her entire body alight from the lightest of touches, he gently thrusted up into her hitting a new spot inside her that had her crying out his name “Demi” He thrusted up into her again as she grinded against him; letting out a hiss as her walls clenched around him, Ally quickened her pace as she chased her release “That’s it baby….” He encouraged feeling his release was close too. Demetri moved one hand down her body until he reached her clit pinching and circling the bundle of nerves and watched in awe as she experienced her first orgasm as a newborn. Ally felt Demetri pull her over the edge and into the abyss; her entire body tingling from head to toe “Oh…God…Yes!” She cried out; Demetri’s release followed “Oh…Ally…”
He sat up still inside her holding her close as he thrusted up into her; riding out their orgasms together. She wrapped her arms around him kissing his neck teeth grazing over his skin before she bit down on his neck and he let out a cry of ecstasy feeling her venom tingle against his neck “You’re mine” She purred in his ear; pride filling him to know she had marked him, claimed him as hers, the way he had marked her, claimed her as his when she was still human. “I thought my first time with you as a human was amazing…but god that was…” “I know baby” He kissed her softly holding her closer to him.
He laid her down on the rug and pulling almost all the way out of her; he ran his hand up her thigh holding her leg to his side as he re-entered her filling her fully, deeply, completely being at one with her. He roughly thrusted into her capturing her lips with his muffling her cry; her nails scratching up his back as he continued to take her roughly, growling into her ear “Sweet Jesus…Ally!” Him enjoying being able to be with his mate intimately without the fear of hurting her “I’m never going to get enough of you baby” He left a trail of open-mouthed kisses along her neck, his teeth grazing her skin “How is that different to when I was human Demi?” She chuckled; he growled in response and thrusted a little rougher that time; a breathless moan leaving their lips as they came together, their orgasms washing over them entirely.
He pulled the blanket down off the sofa and placed it over them as he held her in his arms “This is the part where you would normally fall asleep” He said low “I can always pretend to sleep…if you’d like” She replied winking at him “Don’t you dare amore. I’m only holding you to be a gentleman Ally” He winked at her “I plan to take you again…seeing as you no longer need to sleep” She gasped slightly as he re-entered her “I was hoping you’d take me again” She purred in his ear.

If This is The End (2)
im finally done with this one so
Warnings: uh, swearing, a little bit of freaking out idrk what else
Sunrise
Earth, sector 9 Approximately 364 days, 7 hours and 27 minutes since Lee Felix’s disappearance.
Jeongin’s eyes fluttered open, the lights in his small room suddenly flashing from a low golden glow to a bright white, waking him up quickly and without much fanfare. He paused, resting in his bed for a moment longer before pushing himself out with a barely muffled hiss. The room was quiet, the rooms either side of him probably empty to be honest, as he staggered into his cleaning facilities to shower.
He frowned, reviewing where the other members would be.
Chan was probably already working. Woojin was probably patching up Jisung right about now, who’d probably injured himself again. Hyunjin would be training. Minho would be dancing, probably (Gods knew why). Changbin would either be waking up, like him, or with Jisung or Chan. That would leave Seungmin.
He nodded to himself as he finished up. He could live talking to Seungmin, yeah. He just...
He didn’t particularly want to, didn’t want to bother anyone else. If Felix had still been there… Jeongin didn’t want to think about that. About the elder brother he had lost.
About how they still hadn’t found him.
How they likely weren’t going to find him.
Jeongin rubbed his eyes, pulling a random shirt from his clothes rack and yanking it over his head with a slight tearing sound. Oh yeah, he forgot Earthian shirts weren’t as strong as the ones back home. Just what he needed to add to his already sour mood.
All he really wanted right now was to cry.
Felix was gone, probably dead if the reports were anything to go by, killed on that fucking planet and dragged away to be some creatures dinner. Minho and Hyunjin were always arguing with each other, getting in each other’s faces about the smallest things even if it didn’t warrant the drama.
Chan was vacant, just, never around anymore. Woojin barely even got him to eat at times. Jisung was spending all his time with the scientists, with only Changbin to support him. Repeating those same stupid tests over and over like the results would be any different.
God, even Seungmin wasn’t the same anymore.
The family he’d joined over a year ago no longer felt like a family. It was cold, broken. Like the words, Nine or None, jokingly uttered by Felix over a year ago, had become law rather than an uplifting motto. Like none of them could function properly without him. It really looked that way sometimes.
Jeongin laced his boots up before he left his room.
The moment he left the room, the sounds of an argument reached him, escalated more than what was usual for the time of the morning. Hyunjin was screaming his head off today apparently. Jeongin didn’t bother going to step between Minho and Hyunjin. He wouldn’t get heard over the argument, not like Changbin would. Not like literally anyone else would.
Instead, he turned away, focusing on leaving the dorm quietly and heading the roundabout way to the mess hall.
A year ago, someone would’ve been waiting nearby to keep him company, to make sure that he wasn’t eating by himself. The last time that had happened had been his birthday. Where even Minho and Hyunjin had put aside their issues just to make sure that the youngest of them had been happy.
But that had been a while ago. It was almost September now, over six months later.
His boots scuffed against the ground as he walked. He could hear the sounds of laughter as he passed by the dorms of Sungjin’s and Jaebum’s teams, an empty pit filling his chest as he remembered what he’d lost once again that morning. The boy swallowed harshly, hurrying his footsteps and disappearing around a corner just as a door opened behind him. He didn’t want to think about it.
Doors slid open before him as he paced his way into the mess hall, empty save for two of the two girls from Yeji’s team. He left them alone, after all, he still wasn’t sure that Jisu actually liked him.
It made sense, they’d been sent out just after the collapse of his team. He knew it looked like they were just the replacements.
Even so, he couldn’t help but be jealous of the way the two girls laugh in easy companionship. Couldn’t help but feel jealous in the way that all the other teams in the compound seem to forget about their team sometimes. Or just stare with pity in their eyes as he passed.
They didn’t do front line stuff anymore, after all.
Jeongin shook the thought away, picking up a tray and slowly picking pieces of food onto it. An apple? He didn’t feel like one today. The collection part of the process took him five minutes, excluding the amount of time he spent just staring blankly at a zip-locked back of dried fruits. By the time he was done, Jeongin was ready to leave again.
He dropped his tray onto a table, away from everyone else, away from his group's old table. Just, by himself, gazing at the food quietly. Accepting. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, Seungmin or Chan would come over to sit with him. He quickly gave up on that idea.
Five minutes passed as he picked at his food in silence. The sounds of the mess hall had only gotten louder as more and more men and women on-site came for their breakfast. The rest of his squad remained absent, leaving him alone to deal with the noise.
Their old table sat empty still and after a moment’s hesitation, Jeongin switched tables to where he used to sit with his hyungs. A chattering started up next to him almost immediately (the noise coming from Jisu and Ryujin) and he tensed up. This had been a mistake. The chattering continued, intercepted with muffled giggles and the clear noise of shade and gossip being thrown his way. Jeongin tried to ignore them, continued to attempt to do so for another few minutes even, before the sounds of a chair being scraped back across from him drew his attention.
He looked up from his food, to see a certain blonde-haired man sitting across from him, placing his own tray (Why did he need a tray for two pieces of toast and a cup of coffee? The company had perfectly good plates for fucks sake, not that he could talk) down and running a hand through his mess of unruly curls.
“You looked like you could use some company,” Chan noted quietly, raising his mug and taking a sip of his coffee. Jeongin blinked as the elder raked his eyes across the mess hall, daring someone (Ryujin) to laugh at them.
His eyes lingered on Jisu and Ryujin a moment longer than anyone else. The two girls remained silent.
Jeongin remained quiet for a moment, watching as his team leader and brother figure sipped at his coffee and examined something on his datapad. Beside them, Jisu and Ryujin started talking again in much quieter tones. Their whisper’s once again filled the air.
“... Hyung. I thought you’d be working?” Chan glanced up at Jeongin, holding a piece of toast halfway between his mouth and the plate. A grimace flashed across his face as he placed the piece of bread down and linked his fingers together.
“I’m… Taking the day off. Kinda need it y’know?” The younger blinked for a few moments before it hit him.
Felix had gone missing this time last year. Of course Chan would need a break to grieve.
“I… Yeah, I get you.” His hands shook as he attempted to pick up his chopsticks once again. God, Felix had been gone a year now and they’d done nothing to find him. What sort of brothers were they?
Not very good ones obviously.
As he managed to regain control of his body enough to pick up his chopsticks, Chan’s toast was placed in his mouth with a quiet crunch. An uneasy silence fell between the two of them allowing the noise of the mess hall to flood through them and sweep away their thoughts. Jeongin felt awkward.
The silence between them felt unnatural to him, and honestly, he blamed himself for it. He should’ve been a better dongsaeng back when Felix had first disappeared and done his best to support his team. To support Chan. Instead, he’d frozen, choosing to hide away in his room rather than face the problem and only come out when the damage was already done.
This wasn’t their team. They weren’t like this.
Hyunjin should’ve been there, laughing and clinging onto Seungmin or Minho. Minho should’ve been there, teasing Jisung over some stupid thing he’d done that morning. Woojin and Seungmin should have been there. Changbin should’ve been there. Felix….
Felix shouldn’t have disappeared.
He was drowning. Drowning in this silence of his creation.
“A-Are we… Uh… Do we have…. Is there anything we’re gonna do to commemorate him?” Jeongin’s voice felt weak. The words were too hard to get out. But he had to know. He had to.
Chan glanced up, expression thoughtful as he stared at the boy, “Uh…. Yea. There is, we’r--” He cut himself off, a blue shine flashing over his eyes for a moment before he stood up and downed the last of his coffee.
“Listen, I’ll tell you later. Right now I have to go, Hyunjin and Minho are screaming at each other again.” Chan sighed, taking a bite of his other slice of toast. Jeongin nodded, feeling numb now that Chan had stopped speaking.
“Tell me later?” He begged quietly, desperation creeping into his voice in a way that he hated. Hated so much. Chan paused before nodding at him reassuringly.
“Promise.” The younger released a sigh, as Chan brushed his hand over his hair and left him alone again. Alone in the mess hall of people who were gossiping about their team.
But he was used to that.
There were a lot of things Changbin could handle in this universe; He had been stabbed in the back more times than he could count. His body had broken down way too many times. Fuck, he’d even lived through the incident that’d cost Chan, Jisung and himself everything. Cost Jisung his eyes.
But having Minho kicking and screaming at Hyunjin. Having to restrain a kicking screaming Minho, as Chan restrained a kicking screaming Hyunjin… That wasn’t high on his list of favourite things to do in the morning.
Fuck, even Chan looked about ready to backhand the pair half the time.
Neither of the two would shut up when the other became involved with them. Ever. Changbin’s room was located between the two of theirs as well so lucky him, he got to wake up most mornings to, surprise surprise, a screaming match between the two.
This had been going on a year. A whole year, from the day Felix vanished to now, and they still hadn’t sorted out their shit. A whole fucking year. If anything, the whole thing was just draining.
“Hyung, for the love of god could you just shut the fuck up? Thanks.” He snapped angrily into Minho’s ear. Alright, so…. Maybe he was a little frustrated. Honestly, it was probably about time anyway.
I am going to fucking throw Minho off the climbing wall at this rate. I don’t care if he’s a dancer, His thoughts angrily swirled through him as Minho narrowed his eyes and closed his mouth. From where Chan was holding him on the other side of the room, Hyunjin burst out laughing. Changbin’s eyes flicked up to the younger.
“Something funny over there?” Hyunjin’s eyes widened, and he quickly shut his mouth, his face paling. What’s up with him?
Minho paused, going limp in Changbin’s arms. Fuck, he was heavy. The younger paused, exchanging a look with Chan before dragging Minho away and into his room.
The elder remained limp until they reached his room before he squirmed in Changbin’s arms to try and escape him.
“Hyung.” Minho’s head jerked up, shaking off whatever was going on in his head. “You alright Hyung?”
The dancer nodded, dropping himself onto his bed in a manner that was so unlike him.
“It’s been a year.” He paused to swallow, “He’s been gone a year and no one’s found anything of him. And we keep going on. Pretending we’re fine.” Minho paused again, looking up at Changbin with a mournful expression gracing his face.
“We’re not fine. Channie hyung is overworking himself -- you can see it in his stance-- Woojin is never around anymore. Me and hyunjin…. We’ve been having these problems since day one. Jisung hasn’t come out of their lab at all over the past week for anything other than sleeping or eating. Seungmin is always training, all day every day, trying to get better in a way he doesn’t need to. And fuck, your just snappish now. Some of us can barely talk to you, I can barely talk to you for more than five minutes without you snapping for something we’ve done.”
Changbin paused for a moment to take in the words. It was true he supposed. He couldn't remember the last time he’d just spoken to Minho without getting annoyed at him for doing something stupid. He had no defence for it either.
“Oh.” Minho raised an eyebrow, staring at Changbin with a frown.
“That’s it? Just ‘Oh’?” Changbin nodded, avoiding the elder’s gaze. That was it. He had nothing else to say.
Minho sighed before motioning for him to leave the room. He bit the inside of his lip, hesitantly nodding and leaving the elder’s room.
Outside the room, Chan was finally letting Hyunjin go. The door slid shut behind Changbin as he quietly watched the exchange between Hyunjin, all teary-eyed and sobs threatening to escape his mouth, and Chan with his sad smile and understanding nods. He watched as Chan hugged the youngest in the room before they separated, Hyunjin heading to the mess hall by the looks of things.
The moment Hyunjin was out of the room Changbin watched as Chan sagged against the wall and sighed. Changbin cast him a worried glance, eyebrows furrowing. After a moment, he watched Chan stand up straight and take a deep breath.
“What happened between them this time?” Changbin asked. Chan shrugged, a frown passing over his features. A moment passed before he said anything.
“No clue.” Changbin groaned in annoyance, bringing his hands up to rub at his eyes.
“Not again.”
“Can Captain Bang please report to the Major’s office? I repeat, can…” A cold robotic voice announced over the intercom, distracting Chan. He looked up from the report he was reading as surprise washed over him, the Major wanted him? He must’ve heard wrong. A moment passed where he did nothing before an alert flashed up on his datascreen followed by the announcement repeating itself. Alright, so that hadn’t been fake.
That’s a little frustrating. And anyway, for a society so technologically developed, why do we even need intercoms anymore? He wondered, placing the report down on the table and sending the alert away. With a quiet groan, he stood, casting a longing glance at the report and the messy English handwriting filling him with a sense of nostalgia.
It made sense, it was one of Felix's old reports after all. He wasn’t even sure why he had been reading it in the first place. It wasn’t particularly interesting, just the rundown of one of his first missions, how he’d been with Hyunjin and almost shot Jisung when he’d ran in front of him.
It was funnier at the time. Well, kinda. After the panic of Jisung almost getting shot passed. Chan stood up, pushing the chair back into the desk with a quiet sigh.
His boss wanted to see him after all.
He hesitated for a moment after he stood up before he left the desk and exited the room. The hallway before him was empty. Strange for where he was in the barracks. But he supposed it made sense considering the day and how his team were. His team’s quarters were normally much more lively after all.
It’s empty, He noted, as he walked through the halls, casting a glance into Hyunjin’s room as he passed the open door. The boy seemed to be holding his head in his hands, muttering to himself.
Chan wanted to linger, to go in and make sure he was alright. But he couldn’t. Not at that moment. God, why couldn’t he just be there when his team needed him? He tore himself away, turning to jog down the hall and out of the barracks with a frustrated noise.
Compared to the light coloured walls of his teams quarters, the rest of the site was quite drab. Light grey walls that stretched for meters, only interjected by pale blue lights or doors. Even then those were far and in between, often sealed closed by someone else’s key card or code.
He was tired of the colour grey honestly. It was just… Depressing, at this point at least.
The doors to Park Jinyoung’s (the elder one not the younger) office opened quietly, allowing Chan entrance to the room with little fuss. The room itself, unlike the rest of the building he’d passed through, was brightly coloured and warmly decorated. Warm red rugs decorated the floor upon one of which a cat was sleeping on.
Behind a great oaken desk sat Park Jinyoung himself, reading through reports with a frown. The man looked up as Chan opened the door and his face split into a pleasant smile, which wasn’t actually the most pleasant to look at.
Years of fighting had garnered the man many battle scars, including one which twisted from his chin through his lip and up to his ear.
“Captain Bang, good good. Please, sit.” Chan bowed, warily watching the man as he slowly sat himself down in the chair opposite Jinyoung’s desk. The man in front of him hummed in a pleased tone.
“Now, Captain, I know this is a bad time but... I have a mission for you and your team.” Chan froze, a mission? Today of all days?
“Sir, with all due respect I do--”
“I am aware. That’s why it’s not a priority yet. You and your team have a week before it becomes urgent. Give or take a few days.” Chan gritted his teeth as the man cut him off. A mission would mean condensing Hyunjin and Minho in a small amount of space for several hours. A painful several hours that Chan really didn’t want to deal with. Even so, he couldn’t just deny the mission.
His team needed it anyway. The man sighed, rubbing the heels of his palms into his eyes.
“What do you need us to do Sir?” Jinyoung smiled, interlacing his fingers together and leaning forward over the desk.
“There’s been stories from the 4th quadrant of someone causing trouble in one of the outer rings there. Your mission is to investigate and if needed, eliminate any threats.” Elimination? Chan frowned, that on its own would mean organising teams.
The thought ran through his head quickly. Hyunjin and Minho would have to be separated, Jeongin was weaker in his dancer rank than songstress. Jisung needed to have someone with him that wasn’t Hyunjin or Minho, and shouldn’t be Changbin. Changbin was a bit too… Uncaring at times.
“Do we have any reports on this at all Sir, or we going in blind?” His eyebrows furrowed. Chan watched as Jinyoung sighed, before shaking his head.
“As I said before, stories. I would send any other team, but… If I get any more reports of your team being too loud, I’m going to shoot someone.” Chan winced. God damn it, Hyunijn and Minho. He was probably going to have to shoot the pair himself at this rate.
“That’s going to be annoying Sir, but I’ll see what we can do.” He nodded once, waiting for the waved dismissal that came soon after.
“Good. Oh and Chan? Good luck.” Chan smiled gratefully as he stood and turned for the door. Leaving, he twisted and offered up a quiet reply.
“Thank you, sir.” The door closed behind him with a click, leaving chan to lean on a nearby wall and slump in exhaustion. A moment passed before he stood up and connected a line to Woojin. The quiet that met him in the moments before Woojin picked up lasted him until he passed the next door.
“Channie?” The elder’s voice was quiet, sleep ridden. Chan felt guilty for a moment, realising he must have woken Woojin up when he really needs as much sleep as he can get. But that’s before he remembered he needed someone to round up the horde.
“Sorry Hyung. You were asleep?” He doesn’t need to ask really, it’s just a formality. There was a yawn on the other end before a quiet ‘no’ reached his ears. Chan smiled bitterly at the blatant lie. What a Woojin thing to be doing.
“Sorry. Um, Anyway, I need you to collect together the boys. We have a mission. Yes, I will explain, but… Just… Separate the problem children please?” There was a sigh and the rustling of sheets. Chan winced again.
“Alright Channie. Want me to partner them up?”
Chan thought about this for a moment, as he strode through the grey halls.
“Pair up Minho with Jeongin and Hyunjin with Jisung. That should solve a couple problems.” He responded after a moment. There was a quiet affirmation.
“That all?”
“Yes, thank you hyung.” Woojin sighed before the sound of a hilt being attached to its port reached his ears.
“You’re lucky we love you so much Chan.”
It was loud. The was filled with the various chatterings of seven different boys and the one sitting by himself quietly. Hyunjin hated the loud.
Ironic for someone who argued so often he supposed, but it was different them. It was him creating the noise then.
He guessed he was luckier in that moment that everyone was quieter than the time Taeyong’s team had visited. It had been too loud back then, forcing him to wear his headphones the whole night. The boy frowned, perching forwards in his seat as he watched Minho and Changbin talk in a slightly quieter voice than the rest of them, neither of them picking up on the little things he did.
Changbin was tired, grouchy. He just wanted to sleep through this trip. Minho was the opposite. He was awake, excited. As if this excursion was a chance for him to use up pent up energy. Hyunjin didn’t like it. He pulled his knees up to his chest, searching in his bag for his headphones.
Chan sent him a worried glance from nearby. Was he okay? Was the noise too much for him?
Hyunjin looked up, catching Chan’s eye and smiling brightly. Chan was convinced, Hyunjin could tell, but he smiled back before he returned back to his book and conversation. He sighed, finally finding his headphones and covering his ears with them. Instantly, everything was quiet. While not a perfect solution, it was the best they had just yet.
He sighed, leaning back. It was a nice change, the quiet, he noted again as he let his eyes slip closed.
He was shaken awake after what barely felt like a moment, Jisung’s face appearing in his field of view. Hyunjin groaned, pulling his headphones down to his neck before he reached for Jisung’s hand. The noise attacked him the moment he did.
“We’re here now Jinnie. It’s time to wake up.” Jisung chirped at him. Hyunjin let out another groan, removing himself from his seat and stretching. There were some clicks in his spine before he reached down to grab his bag and hilt. The hilt itself had been recoloured (Jeongin’s idea, in memory of Felix he said) and now shimmered a lilac at his touch.
It felt safe to him. Safe, like coming home to his mother felt. Jisung coughed from beside him.
“Can we go? Channie hyung is waiting, man.” Hyunjin sighed and clicked his hilt into it’s designated place. At the click Jisung’s head jerked in the direction of the noise before Hyunjin reached out a hand to him and waited as the boy grabbed a hold of it. “Thank you Jinnie.” Jisung’s voice was grounding, reminding him to be careful as he lead the boy out of the ship.
Outside the ship… Hyunjin frowned, looking around and taking the bustling sounds and cityscape. The buildings around them all rose in graceful curves with tinted windows that blocked the harsh sun. And as Hyunjin exited the ship he saw the blue coverings that spiralled throughout the city. He turned to look for Chan, a frown on his face as he spotted the elder.
“No one told me we were coming here.” He whispered, clutching tightly onto Jisung’s hand. Chan sighed, whispering an apology as Hyunjin sighed, breathing in the air of his home planet before he looked down.
Just what I wanted, to redye my already dead hair, He thought numbly, rolling his shoulders and letting Jisung’s hand go.
“Can we just hurry up then. This sun isn’t good for us.” There’s a collective noise of agreement from the boys amongst the general chatter and noise of his world. He takes this to mean as they’re already beginning to feel the sun. He sighs, jumping as someone (Chan) grabs his hand and someone else takes Jisung.
“Sorry that I didn’t warn you earlier. I didn’t even find out until we landed either if it helps.” Hyunjin groaned again.
“Aren’t they meant to warn us about these things Hyung?” It wasn’t a big deal. It was fine. Hyunjin would live, preferably without Minho’s laughter though. He shot a glare in Minho’s direction before he let Chan pull him in the direction of the rest of the group.
As they made their way through the streets, Hyunjin felt himself gradually tense up as they started encountering more and more people. Eventually, the number of people in the streets started decreasing until there were few to no people around them. It’s nice, he thought numbly as chan lead them into the almost empty outpost on the planet, there’s no one around for once.
The outpost itself was nearly empty, save for the few soldiers permanently stationed here and the desk workers who lived in the city. It was quiet, almost too easy for Hyunjin to disappear if he really wanted to.
Not that he did.
Chan coughed, sending all of them a look.
“Meet me back here in ten minutes, we have some investigating to do tonight before I can set you free in the city.” Hyunjin frowned, blinking before he remembered. Chan had outlined their mission while they were on the ship. Maybe, just maybe, Hyunjin had been zoning out during that part of the flight.
They were looking for anything unusual on the plant, right? It made sense to him now why they were there.
Hyunjin sighed, leaving the room to follow Jeongin to the area they were sleeping during this trip. The room itself was small, but that wasn’t the problem here.
No, the problem was it was loud.
On one of the top bunks, he could see Changbin had placed his stuff, ignoring it now that he was mid-argument with Jisung. The younger seemed to want to sleep on the top bunk this time.
Hyunjin didn’t particularly care really, he just wanted the argument to stop. It was just adding to the noise really.
He cast a glance around the room, placing his belongings on a free bed before he left the room. Back in the lobby, Chan was talking to someone. He sighed, waiting a few moments as the conversation ended before he coughed to catch Chan’s attention. The blonde looked over and smiled brightly.
“Jinnie! How are you? Is it too loud?” Hyunjin shook his head, explaining in as few words as possible how his home planet was naturally quieter. Chan smiled again, glancing at the time before replying, “That’s good then.”
Chan glanced at the time again, giving Hyunjin the opportunity to take in the information around him. A minute passed before the others started drifting into the room, starting with Jisung surprisingly. As the final boy walked in Chan clapped and went over their mission again. Hyunjin zoned out again. He seemed to be the only other person in the room who had any clear idea of what was happening.
Probably because Chan was too loud about it.
A few minutes passed before Chan tugged at his sleeve, and asked Hyunjin if he knew the way to a specific district of the city. He blanked out for a moment before he nodded. That area was about half an hour away if memory served him right.
Maybe?
The district turned out to be closer to forty-five minutes away, but could anyone really blame hyunjin for not knowing exactly? No. As the went through the district though, the buildings started deteriorating in stability and upkeep to the point where he could barely recognize some of them. He wasn’t sure how the skyscrapers had become rubble so quick.
He didn’t like it.
“Yah, Hyunjin, You sure you’re leading us in the right direction. This area looks destroyed.” Changbin called to him, a scuffle in the ground letting the boy know that the elder had stopped moving. Hyunjin paused, twisting around to look at the ruins around them.
To look at the broken walkways and the lights that glittered off shards. He took a hesitant step back, wincing at the glass crunching under his feet.
“I.. I don’t know. What happened here?” His voice was quiet as he glanced to Chan for answers. The elder just shook his head.
“I have no idea. All I have is the rumours going around this area. Apparently some kind of soldier from an unknown company? Anyway, this guy has been causing trouble but no actual official records.” There was a mumble of slight unease within the group.
“Alright then, how has this not actually been reported then?” Minho called from the back of the group and for once Hyunjin had to agree with the man. Why was this the first he’d heard of this? How had a disaster of this scale gone unreported? Why hadn’t his parents told him?
“Listen, I have no clue. I promise. This is the sorta stuff that should’ve been.” Chan soothed, pressing a hand into his head. Hyunjin frowned, pulling up his datascreen to check his messages. A moment passed him by where he tapped the screen until he reached them and frowned. The last time his parents had messaged him had been several weeks ago, which of itself was alarming.
Hyunjin’s parents weren’t the type to just vanish on him with no explanation. It was weird and he didn’t like it.
The world around him went silent. Hyunjin panicked.
He twisted, glancing at Chan frantically.
“Hyung! Please tell me I’m not crazy, and that it’s not quite, please!” He begged, watching as Chan tilted his head in confusion for a moment before letting his mouth open in realisation. He blinked uselessly at Hyunjin. The younger bit his lip, turning to the next person, Minho. The man raised an eyebrow at Hyunjin curiously.
“I don’t know what quiet is Hyunjin.” He noted. Hyunjin whimpered taking a step back and dropping to his knees to clutch at his head. No, no no.
His knees hit the ground with a quiet thump as he stared blankly at the ground. Quiet. He wasn’t used to the quiet. Feet were moving around and someone shook him roughly. The noise returned for a moment before it fell quiet again. He whimpered again, allowing himself to be drug to his feet and pulled into a rough hug.
“It’ll be fine Jinnie,” Jisung whispered to him.
It was to quiet. He could still physically hear evidently but… The noise was still missing. It would've been nice had he chosen for the noise to be missing of his own accord.
A click sounded through the air, followed by a surprised whimper, this time not from Hyunjin. He flinched, reaching for someone’s hand. His hand wrapped around Minho’s wrist but the man didn’t try to shake him off, instead staring blankly at the back of their party.
“Move any closer, and I’ll make sure your party takes some loses.” A cold voice sounded out, drawing Hyunjin’s attention to where Woojin and Chan had started moving, hands on hilts. The voice itself was strangely familiar and kind of baritone. Hyunjin glanced away from his hyungs to look up and swallowed sharply.
Quiet whimpers were escaping Jeongin’s lips as he struggled against the arms holding him with a handgun pressed against his head. That wasn’t what Hyunjin was looking at, no.
Hyunjin was looking at Felix and his cold expression.
“Am I clear?” The freckled boy called out to them again.

who in the family gets along the best and who fights the most? do the kids in the family compete with each other? who is adriel's favorite? is felix as cool as they look and also how do they feel about eliza? what was eliza's relationship wth josie like?
HI THIS IS PROBABLY FROM RIVER BUT WHETHER IT IS OR NOT I ADORE U ANON <3
who gets along best ?
jlklasddsads that’s a pretty hard one but i’d have to say felix + eliza !! the twins are a close second ; like they’ve always just been able to , lke , exist happily together without fighting n are really close n spend most of their time together at home , but at heart they are still pretty different people. their friendship groups have never overlapped and there are definitely times they don’t understand each other. but felix and eliza man … like , they’d fight Badly sometimes , even physically , but dude they are a big part of each other. they did practically everything together , shared a bedroom for ages , had a band together , they were best friends my dude eliza finds it SO HARD to live without them now >:|
who fights most ?
babel and felix omg. when they were younger they REALLY didn’t get on ; they shared a room for quite a few years n tbh felix was a lil bit of a bully ( they’re 7 years older , c’mon ). eliza only swapped into the room with felix after babel broke their nose in a fight lmao. their relationship has gotten a lil better as they’ve grown up , but still they can be pretty snappy with each other.
are the kids competitive ?
honestly no they’re so pure i wanna die ?? tbh they all have really different interests and strengths , so they’ve never really needed to. whenever they wanted attention there was always a parent or older sibling to give it to them ( benefits of a big ol’ family ) so they tend to work pretty well together rather than trying to be the best or the favourite u feel ?
adriel’s favourite ?
not that he’d say , but all the kids can tell it’s the twins. when the girls were left orphaned just after their birth , adriel was sorta the one who persuaded the others that they could handle two more and give them a home , so he’s always felt sorta Specially Responsible for them ? also his big passion / career has always been photography n no one else in the family really cares that much but abigail especially loooves photography and. go d adriel just beaming whenever she asks him for advice with a camera thing. god he can’t even tell them apart ok he just loves them sm.
is felix as cool as they look ?
yea tbh. they sing in bands , they’ve vintage af , they’ve dyed their own hair since they were like 12 and is ALWAYS there to give fashion tips n take u shopping. they’re always at pride n rallies n eveRy activism thing they can find , post - gang time they’ve travelled a lot , they’ve helped out in the shifter community a whole bunch AND kept up a pretty decent music career while they’re at it. and they’ve actually , y’know , improved as a person. felix is AWESOME , man.
how does did felix feel about eliza ?
tbh i can only bear to answer this as how did felix USE TO feel abt eliza because the family’s reaction to eliza’s disappearance is a whole separate devastating thing i don’t want 2 go into >:|. bUT man felix loved eliza as much as she loved them. like , they didn’t even see her as a little sister sorta thing , she’s always just been a best friend to them and honestly like ?? if you’d asked them to picture their life without eliza it would’ve been impossible. she was such a constant in their life and someone they could trust and talk to and be totally themselves around without apology.
how was eliza + josie’s relationship ?
it’s sorta weird but she was never as close to her mum as she was either of her dads ?? idk why really , there’s no major reason for it , they’re just quite different ppl n she’s a lot more similar to her dads. BUT one thing they always had in common was their sense of humour. it wasn’t uncommon for the two of them to burst into laughter at a family meal while all the others were sittin there clueless. they were always In Tune with each other despite not being super close ; like they never needed to work at their relationship because it was Enough for them , u feel ? josie could always tell whether eliza wanted a shoulder to cry on or be left alone and when eliza could tell her mum was stressed she’d clear out her siblings or whatever. they were good for each other tbh.

Attrition of Peace
Two: Leo
Movie Night is on Me
When Leo realized he had no memories of the last month, he wasn’t surprised. As heroes go, losing a few months of memory seemed comparable to losing one pencil in a backpack. Judging off of when his friends, Jason and Percy, forgot their entire lives, Leo thought it might be more of a coming-of-age thing for heroes. Ah, you’ve turned 16? Better wipe away every awkward experience until this point so you’re completely unprepared to handle the future.
By the time Leo finished skimming through 72 hours of video surveillance, he felt like all his internal circuits were fried. He’d hunkered down in the Leo and Calypso Garage shack with chips and a packet of energy drinks, determined to figure out what had happened.
First, he and Calypso had to figure out how much time had lapsed. It had been happening to Leo more and more recently, though Calypso said that was because of the whole death and zombie experience and their recent detachment from society. This time though, Calypso also couldn’t remember what day it was, or why a group of rowdy centaurs and nature spirits graffitied Red Velvet Cheesecake and The Anti-Corruption Act all over their shed. Even when he couldn’t remember, Calypso’s memory was usually in mint condition.
After he and Calypso woke up to their little work camp looking like it had been invaded by Dionysus’s crazed fan club—and Leo knew exactly how they liked to party—Calypso realized someone had worked some magic on them. Leo was a little alarmed at how well she could identify forgetful magic, but he figured that was just a sorceress thing.
Leo fiddled with a few pieces of metal. He’d absently crafted three or four miniature Buford tables while wading through all the footage.
Nothing special. Some Cyclops raided their trash again. Leo really needed to Cyclops proof the trash with a tiny robot that said No, Bad Cyclopes, to guilt them into good behavior. A few rowdy centaurs stole one of their umbrellas and replaced it with the rotor blade and mast of a helicopter. That explained where that came from.
Leo’s ADHD drifted his attention away from the screen. He almost overlooked the guy in Calypso’s fireproof mesh suit trying to strangle him.
He sat up. “Hey Sunshine!” he called. “I found the Saturday morning cartoons!”
Calypso came into the tiny shack with a basket of fresh laundry. She sang softly and wore jeans and a T-shirt. Since they left the island, she’d permanently ditched the shiny goddess look, but Leo thought she’d never looked hotter in her work clothes. Her caramel hair was in a practical braid that made him crazy.
Leo reached to help her fold, but winced when she smacked his hand away. “Ow—Sunshine—you’ve got to stop punishing me for trying to help with house chores,” he complained and shook out his hand.
“Your hands are greasy,” she said, her almond eyes narrowing at his fingers.
Leo hadn’t noticed how messy his fingers became while making the mini Bufords. He missed the full-size Buford.
Leo sighed and watched her fold. He suspected she enjoyed something about laundry, probably the therapeutic simplicity of it. This was one action that hadn’t changed since she left Ogygia, though she must have fought with invisible servants to do the chore before. As much as he knew she was happy to be off the island, for every minute she took to enjoy her freedom, she seemed to need a minute in the garden or by the loom so she didn’t get overwhelmed.
He’d offered to build her a clothes dryer, or to have Festus start a fire-drying service, but that usually only earned him a scowl.
There was more to it this time though. Normally, she’d give him a playful flick or something.
Something about going through these videos had left her on edge.
He had a suspicion, but he wasn’t ready to admit it to himself, let alone to her.
Leo skipped backwards in the video. Although the surveillance camera in the front and back of the shack didn’t capture transition scenes, he could hear and see enough. This group of seven demigods bargained for Leo’s location with his father, Hephaestus. Once they found him, some tall, buff guy of mixed ethnicity named Axel traded Felix’s missing control board to have Leo rebuild a sword.
Felix—a smaller, silver version of Festus designed to find, protect, and reunite Calypso with him if they were ever parted. He was hoping that might alleviate some of her mild… separation anxiety. Leo vaguely remembered Felix disappearing one night. From the video, he gathered Felix went to find Calypso… just the wrong Calypso. Instead, it ended up outside Camp Half-Blood, after Kalypso, a daughter of Apollo that the dragon promptly tried to eat. Who would have thought destroy and protect would be so close when coding a mechanical dragon.
Although Leo felt pretty bad, once he found out everyone was okay, he was glad random strangers got to test out his new dragon, instead of almost having his girlfriend get charcoaled. Maybe he had a little more to learn before he could replicate Festus’s control disk.
When Leo pressed play, Calypso frowned at the screen. They were still at the part where the silver-suited guy strangled him. He could almost envision Percy shouting, “Look out, Leo! You’re about to be attacked by the Tin Man!”
“It’s okay,” Leo assured Calypso. “He didn’t strangle me too much.”
“It’s not that,” she said and waved his personal wellbeing away. “You recrafted Kronos’s blade.”
Leo glanced at her. No matter how long he was in the field of Greek mythology, he could never keep all the names straight. “That’s the dude from God of War right? Is he a big baddie?”
Calypso didn’t seem to hear him. Her frown deepened. “We need to find the people who have that sword.”
Leo tried not to gawk. That would mean hunting down other demigods. Calypso hadn’t been comfortable interacting with other demigods yet. He didn’t remember having a direct conversation with her about seeing his friends, but he had a distinct feeling that she hadn’t wanted to.
Having her say she wanted to talk to some demigods—even if it was a couple of jerks who crashed their shack—made him giddy. Maybe they could go to Camp Half-Blood next and get attacked by everyone for being M. I. A. for so long.
“Um—yea,” he said, half a moment too slow. Smooth, he thought. He probably should have cared more about this whole Kronos-sword thing, but he was mostly excited about the thought of seeing his friends. And beating up the guy who tried to choke him. That would be some nice stress relief.
He grinned, reaching for Felix’s silver control disk. It was on his desk, beside an empty packet of chips. While tracing his fingers along the metal, he said, “If that Kalypso girl is with them—what did they call her? Kally? If she’s with them, I think we’ll be able to find that group in no time. Just leave it to the Leoman.”
Calypso rolled her eyes. Then she glared. “Leo, The God of War is Ares, not Kronos.”
Leo laughed that it took her so long to catch the prior reference. “Sunshine, it’s the name of a game. We can play it sometime after we’re done catching the Tin Man Strangler.”[1]
With that, Leo snatched up some tools and went to find something that could fit Felix’s control disk. Although he couldn’t place why, he was sure finding this group of jerks would result in crossing paths with his friends from Camp Half-Blood and New Rome.
He just hoped this Kronos sword thing wasn’t that big a deal. He’d fought the Giants before. What could a group of demigods pull out that he hadn’t seen before?
[1] I know, the main character’s name is Kratos. I just can’t resist the look on Leo’s face when he remembers that is NOT a game you want to play with a jealous girlfriend around. Nor with someone who knows anything accurate about Greek mythology.
Thanks for reading the second chapter of AOP! I hope you enjoyed! :D Watch out next weekend for Reyna's chapter: Who Ordered the Trojan Mario?

This is the last time I will be saying anything about this, and I'll probably wind up deleting this post. In light of Marks recent video and the discourse that has been circling it, here are my thoughts: What Felix did was kinda shitty, yea. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I personally don't really like his content. But I think that Felix has a certain responsibility as the biggest YouTuber ever. Felix's fanbase reaches over 50 MILLION people. I recognize that what he was trying to do was show a just how far people would go to make a quick buck off the internet. However, there are many, many different things that he could have said that would not have been as problematic. Felix may not have said these things out of hate, or intended them to be malicious, but he still said them. And because his fanbase is so large, this now makes it okay for other people, young impressionable people, to say these things as well. Felix's apology can be accepted, but there still must be consequences. (Hence cancelling Scare Pewdiepie 2) As for Marks video, I think that he is handling the situation in the best possible way. Imagine if your good friend was getting hate from everyone in the media, of course you would want to defend them. I think Mark went about it in a BEAUTIFUL way, and I could not agree more. Everyone-EVERYONE- is deserving of respect. I do not mean a select group of people, I mean EVERYONE. And I am a very hardcore feminist who takes my beliefs very seriously. But I honest to God do not care who you are, I will treat you like a human being. I think that is the bottom line of what Mark was trying to say. I do not enjoy Pewdiepie's content. I have not for a long time, for multiple reasons, and I certainly do not condone what he said as something that should be taken lightly. However, I recognize that Felix apologized, and made a mistake. Things happen, people are human. I would never wish anything terrible on Felix. I do not even know the man. Hate spreads more hate. Please stop attacking Mark for what he said. I don't think that anyone could have done it better. That's all. ❤💖
