I would like to introduce my fellow fans of Three Kingdoms adaptations, especially my mutual @zhoudadudugongjin to someone:

In 2000, he was Xun Yu 荀彧 (Xun Wenruo 荀文若) in a TV series called Cao Cao 《曹操》

In 2001, he was Lu Su 鲁肃 (Lu Zijing 鲁子敬) in a TV series called Sleeping Loong Little Zhuge 《卧龙小诸葛》

In 2010, he was Liu Bei 刘备 (Liu Xuande 刘玄德) in a TV series called New Three Kingdoms 《新三国》

In 2017, he was Cao Cao 曹操 (Cao Mengde 曹孟德) in a TV series called Advisors Alliance 《军师联盟》

His name is Yu Hewei 于和伟, and at this point, he has enough Three Kingdoms characters to put on a one-man show!

Look, we're only 6 episodes in and we're already getting blood oaths to die together (I'm being dramatic, as usual, but you get the gist of it).

also we have Shi Qiang picking up Wang Miao's daughter and spoiling her... do what you will with that

also Ye Wenjie... I can't say anything without spoiling the plot but honestly she's slaying it (⁠ʘ⁠ᴗ⁠ʘ⁠✿⁠)

and (imo) it's been a while since I've watched anything with older protagonists/antagonists so this is such a refreshing story to both read and watch ^^ so yes, this is a pitch for whoever is reading this to watch Three Body if you haven't yet (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

Also I accidentally found out yesterday that Yu Hewei is hui (one of the minority ethnicities of China) instead of han (the majority).

So I of course looked into the hui because I didn't really know what that means, and learnt a whole ton.

Like my YHW insanity is genuinely good for my Chinese language and culture studies.

哈哈哈哈，老于走神儿了，他真的发呆了好几秒...i bet he's like...gosh, i have to go through the red carpet again with my 2nd show...gosh, when can i go home??? gosh, i have to sit through the entire event later...what's for dinner???

Yhw's attending that 电视剧盛典 thingy today!!!!! I hope he won't miss the red carpet so that I can gif him. He kept missing red carpet in past events xD...

感觉我又活过来了，生活又有盼头了😃

其实随便给我来一部zly或者yhw的新剧，我就没空发疯了。
