Under the influence of this virus, the brain cells (and the body itself) of a person gradually die, turning them, at first, into a bloodthirsty creature that is guided only by instincts, and then finally taking away person's life. In theory, I described the complete fictional pathogenesis of this disease, but since I am not a doctor, there may be a lot of jambs. But if you want, I can drop it. For now, let's move on to the description: Ruslan, on the other hand, found a cure to fight the virus - blood. If it is injected directly into a vein, then the cardiovascular system begins to return to normal and the body begins to slowly "come to life". However, his friends are still infected and they need Ruslan's help... As with the coronavirus, the largest number of infected people is in Moscow. The virus then spreads to neighboring cities, so Usachev gets infected later than Poperechny and Kshishtovsky. This gives Ruslan some advantages. Before his brain begins to die, he is trying to figure out how to actually deal with the virus. Zombies crave blood, however they don't inject it directly and in fact it's almost indigestible. Having found a cure for the virus in an abandoned hospital in St. Petersburg, Usachev decides to go to Moscow to the very epicenter. The entrance to the city, just like under the corona, is heavily guarded + all suspicious people are checked for a pulse and they arrange a kind of "sobriety" test, checking people's intelligence (both drivers and passengers are tested). Ruslan just puts on his glasses and... It works. He easily passes the test without arousing suspicion, and rides on a ride.

Arriving in the city, he begins to look for his friends. So he finds Poperechny and Krzysztowski. Since Ruslan is also a zombie (albeit with consciousness, he is still the carrier of the virus), Danya and Misha do not attack him and take him for their own. Due to the fact that Danya got infected before Misha, his speech became completely incoherent and it is even more difficult for Ruslan to nurse him. Both are extremely resistant at first to Ruslan's actions, however, when they realize that it is getting easier for them, they are more willing to accept help. Later, the guys are already starting to think better and decide to join forces and fight together against the virus. Then their improvised squad goes to help other bloggers and their friends. The first one who they meet is Kir, who has not yet been infected, but Agashkov is extremely skeptical and is ready to use weapons on any zombie that comes close to him. Ruslan tries for a long time to convince Kir that they have found a "cure" and will not harm anyone. So an expert on weapons and cars joins their team, and cars in this world are corresponding: like in Mad Max, all sorts of Volgas and Zhiguli, to which all sorts of knives, broken glass and other stuff are attached with electrical tape, which can injure zombies. Also in this universe, the Internet and the darknet are very developed, through which ordinary residents buy weapons, which has now become worth its weight in gold ... Or rather, the weight of tradable goods, because now money is no longer relevant to anyone. Through telegram, people report where at the moment there are higher concentrations of zombies, where it is better to hide, where you should not go, etc. The servers are heavily guarded because the government understands that this is the only way to warn the public about threats. There is complete chaos in the country. People are grouped into different groups. Groups are of three types: Lawless- This group robs everyone, including ordinary residents. They are the first to steal all the buckwheat and toilet paper. They shoot all the zombies indiscriminately and consider this a "good" thing (because a person is already "dying" in fact, they "relieve" their suffering, like euthanasia), they can also show violence in relation to the ordinary population. Pacifists - This group lives in remote places where the virus has not yet reached. Nobody is robbing anyone. They feed on the gifts of nature. They try to avoid conflicts. They are very vulnerable because they do not carry weapons (it is forbidden in their group). Neutrals - they do not belong, in fact, to any particular group. They themselves never climb into a conflict, they only defend themselves. They try not to kill zombies, if it is possible (exception, again: self-defense). Ruslan and the rest just belong to the neutrals (Kir at first was a "lawless", but then went over to the side of the "neutrals"). Since the virus does not initially manifest itself completely, external signs of the disease also do not immediately appear. The first sign is the "blurring" of one eye (the eye almost completely goes blind), the lips begin to crack more strongly (to the point of blood coming out, they can also begin to acquire a deathly purple hue), as well as very dark bruises under the eyes appear and other tissues on the face may begin to die. Then both eyes become "blurred", while vision deteriorates significantly (the zombie begins to completely go blind and navigate only by smell and sound). At this stage, the brain is already starting to think worse. Treatment with blood takes a long time and regeneration does not return immediately, however, after some time, the tissues will begin to recover (I partially based this on how gangrene works, there the treatment of a certain type of this disease also occurs due to the restoration of blood circulation). But then again - I'm not a doctor, so there may be some mistakes. Oof ... I hope you didn’t DiE of boredom reading this)))
