EEEEEE guys I'm playing Date Everything again from the start (tooootally not cause I forgot to save at...any point and lost my data no siree) and that means

I GET TO ROMANCE HECTOR AGAIN 🥺💖🥺💖🥺💖🥺💖🥺💖🥺 its fun trying SLIGHTLY different dialogue options to get more varied voice lines, and I'm also playing with headphones this time so I can have his voice so much closer to me and ANYWAYS I noticed something this time around!!!

When he's confiding in the player about his insecurities, for a moment, he slips into his REAL voice! Soft and unsure, before correcting himself and slipping back into his deep gravelly voice and I thought that was so cute! For a second he was starting to retreat into himself and the mask he uses cracks a little IT'S SO SO GOOD I HAD TO BITE MY THUMB TO GET MY CUTENESS AGGRESSION OUT!!!!

Cold Boys Paci thoughts:

Ned: loves his pacifier. It’s clipped to his shirt 100% of the time he’s small. Calls it his paci.

Johnny: always has a pacifier in his mouth and Hodgemama has a million different ones to match his outfits and her jewelry. Won’t ask for it, mama just knows when he needs one.

Thomas: wants a pacifier but will never admit it and doesn’t want to be seen using one. Gets embarrassed and says he’s too big if mama or papa try to give him one. Accepts one at bed time if he’s very tired.

Graham: too much of a chewer to use a pacifier. Has his fingers constantly in his mouth if he’s more little than puppy.

Sol: Heather wishes he would use a pacifier but Sol seems to prefer his thumb. He’s constantly being chased down with a wipe and having grimy fingers scrubbed before he can put them in his mouth.

Tommy Armitage: not big on a pacifier but does rub his special stuffed toy against his cheek to fall asleep.

Harry Goodsir: has a preferred soother (he doesn’t like it being called a pacifier) and only uses it at night and for naps.

Collins: isn’t particularly attached to the pacifier but will accept it if it’s given to him. Doesn’t like to be offered it when he’s crying.

Harry Peglar: always has his pacifier in his mouth and no one but Bridgens can understand him when he talks with it. Gets very huffy if he has to take it out to be understood.

Chas: has a monogrammed pacifier. Doesn’t need it for comfort but becomes an absolute nightmare if he can’t find it.

Pilkington: says pacifiers are for babies. Sucks his thumb and will throw a tantrum if one of the other kids calls him out on this.

One for naps, one for when he's crying and needs it for soothing, one for when he's playing, one for comfort when going outside and a special one for doctor visits.
