I now feel an immense urge to edit scenes from Andor episode 8 to Shostakovich Symphony 11 Mvmt 2 because HOLY SHIT. Unfortunately I think it'd be entirely too self indulgent/long-winded and only appeal to me but, god, IT WOULD FIT SO INCREDIBLY WELL AAAAHHHHHH

#was this not the bloody sunday of the galactic rebellion ?????#the parallels man. god.#this ep had the exact same vibe as symphony 11 <- which tracks obviously bcs they're about incredibly similar topics #and in both the protesters have no escape as the full brunt of the empire's force fall on them #gaaaahhhh and both of them have the protesters singing folk songs before it all goes wrong #i relistened to that part right after watching the ep and it made the ep hit even harder man.#NOW I REALLY WANNA MAKE THIS EDIT AAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHH #i love andor's music of course but nothing compares to the inescapable almost sickening escalation of that movement #it feels so desperate like its forcing you to watch the onslaught and neither you nor the people involved can escape it #maybe ill edit it.....but itd be so long winded #ah yes edit ideas that only appeal to my sensibilites #BUT I NEED PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THE PARALLELS AND HOW WELL IT WOULD FIT AAAGHHHHHHH #and you of course have that instant quiet near the end of the movement which is pretty similar to the episode #GAHHHH ITD BE SO GOOD #sry experiencing emotional damage rn <3 #andor #andor spoilers #catie.rambling.txt
