[ad_1] Anshul Kamboj (PC: Subhayan Chakraborty) Bharath Ramaraj at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru The key narratives from day 2 of the Karnataka-Haryana Ranji Trophy game have been the noteworthy performances of Haryana’s seamers and how the home side is negotiating a transition phase in the longest format.  The cornerstones of Haryana’s impressive comeback were Anshul Kamboj and Anuj Thakral – the pace duo shared eight wickets between them. Of the two, Kamboj bowled with unremitting discipline, testing every single batter in the corridor of uncertainty outside off. He also employed the occasional nip-backer to keep the batters on their toes.  The delivery to KL Rahul perfectly sums up Kamboj’s simple but effective methods. It pitched slightly short of a good length and straightened just enough to catch the edge. Rahul had no other choice but to play at the delivery as it was very close to the top of off stump. Kamboj continued to base his game on old-school virtues of making the batter play and was rewarded with figures of 4 for 32 from 22 overs. That his economy rate was less than 2 gave further evidence of his exemplary control.  At this point of time, you also wonder whether Kamboj’s skills are best suited for the longest format. Test cricket is about being good at the art of repetition and he has the required tools for it. So, he could be on the Indian selectors’ radar for the Test tour of England. Thakral, his colleague, is the taller of the two. The 22-year-old went for more runs, but he bowled attacking lengths and finished with 4 for 68 from 20 overs. The pair’s bowling led to Karnataka being dismissed for 304.   There was another theme attached to Karnataka’s innings. The home side is navigating a rather tricky transition phase. The likes of Manish Pandey, Karun Nair, R Samarth, S Sharath and K Gowtham have either shifted their base to another state or been left out of the set-up. To make matters worse, the pace duo of Vidwath Kaverappa and Vijaykumar Vyshak suffered injuries during the course of the season, while Prasidh Krishna and Devdutt Padikkal were on national duty. Yere Goud and the rest of the think-tank ushered in youngsters, and that worked in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, with Karnataka emerging victorious. R Smaran averaged 72, with KV Aneesh and Krishnan Shirjith also aggregating over 300 runs in that tournament. Abhilash Shetty, the left-arm pacer, also impressed, taking 17 scalps.  Even in the longest format, Smaran and Shetty showcased their potential against Punjab. Smaran accumulated a double-ton while Shetty bagged four wickets. Yashovardhan Parantap, the seam-bowling all-rounder, has also made useful contributions in the couple of games he has played in the Ranji Trophy so far. With pacers like LR Kumar, Samarth Nagaraj and Manvanth Kumar (all-rounder) in the mix, Karnataka seem to have enough bench strength for the longest format.  The results, however, have not exactly gone in Karnataka’s favour in the Ranji Trophy this season, winning two and drawing four matches. Even in the ongoing game, they suffered a spectacular collapse, losing their last five wickets for a mere 18. And Haryana have made a bright start. Maybe, just maybe, it will take a bit of time for the youngsters to turn potential into consistency. The post As Karnataka tackle transition, could Anshul Kamboj be a bolter for the England tour? appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports. [ad_2] Source link

Aspirants, review
Tumblr media
How TVF makes back to back successful series and that too for free on YouTube, how? In this series you will see series promoting unacademy every 15 min but in super interesting way. Let it be! So story is about aspirants who are struggling to pass upsc exam and series focuses on how aspirants struggles with their life and explains important life lessons which everyone should know. Obviously how can you ignore content made for free, naah never ignore some of these series specially by TVF.
So first episode explains that it's upto you which subject you want to choose, there's no subject which has less or more, easy or hard, it's on you how you study. Then in second episode our main character Abhilash who always questions and have negative thinking argues how someone can teach who is failed in exams, after that he decides to leave coaching, but he attends one guest lecture by IAS officer after Sandeep bhaiya's suggestion where he learns that only the person who has failed can explain how he/she failed so that others will not repeat same mistake. In third episode Abhilash understands that he really have negative approach on every topic which is the main reason does not get marks. The only thing that can bend strong power isn love. After entry of Dhairya in his life he feels the positive vibes, obviously he tries to attract her but after Dhairya explain his negative approach, Abhilash starts changing it into positive by doing actions instead of just questioning and then his relationship with owner of house improves and also growth in marks. Then in fourth episode story moves ahead with explaining the importance of having plan B, which is very important in real life too. Here Sandeep bhaiya explains how he ignored plan B which then indirectly affected his life too. As Dhairya said that even 1% doubt can become heavy later and it's upto you what you want to choose. Then Abhilash left his job and focuses only on exam but then that 1% doubt is about relationship between him and her which affect him in exam as he has to choose only one, so he leaves her. After result nobody passes exam, I really loved this scene, it's emotional. Because he loses both her and exam. That's why having a backup plan is important. And here in final episode it's like past meets present, he faces same problem whether he has to choose his friends or to leave them forever. Here Sandeep bhaiya comes again in Abhilash's life to explain the importance of feeling, love and relationship with humans, as he says you can achieve anything or helping your country or doing your duty you may feel happy from outside but from inside you will feel empty as there's no one to cheer you, the ones who were with you supported you no matter how world was, never left them. Then Abhilash understands importance of SK, Guri and Dhairya, and decides to meet him. This was again a inspirational and emotional too because aspirants got opportunity for another attempt in past and in present he got opportunity to fix problems with his friends. So never miss opportunity.
It was amazing, touchy, inspirations series. Obviously focused on exams but it tells important life lessons with amazing story. Great work done by makers. Just watch it, is free!
