incredible amount of missed potential in what could have been such a good friendship between Akira and Yusuke like. you're telling me that Akira "Certified Friend Boy" Kurusu wasn't way on board to have a sillay guy who's made of pipe cleaners come hang out? yu yu hakusho three kings arc but theres intense demon politics and an actual war instead of Dark Tournament 2.0: The Lesser Version and yusuke isnt suddenly Actually Has Been Mister McSpecial Guy All Along with mazoku blood and is still Just Some Dude with the power of stupid luck and friendship on his side and also KUWABARA IS STILL THERE AND SIGNIFICANT!!!!!!!! AND BOTAN DOES SHIT BESIDES JUST WATCHING THE GUYS DO THINGS !!!!! AND FURTHER EXPLORATION INTO FUCKING UP KURAMA AND HIEIS MENTAL STATES ESPECIALLY BECAUSE YAY SUFFERING!! persona 5 fandom. gripping your shoulders and shaking you. i need you guys to stop using that one scene from yusuke's confidant where everyone acknowledges that "oh madarame did care about yusuke in some way" to minimize his abuse. that scene is awful and that was a completely shitty way for people to talk to yusuke given what emotions he was feeling at the time

#squishy talks too much #yusuke's struggle with stockholm syndrome about madarame #is both one of the most fascinating and one of the most mishandled aspects of his character #IT DOES NOT MATTER IF MADARAME CARED FOR YUSUKE IN SOME WAY OR NOT #IT DOES NOT MATTER.
