would it be possible to sort the mlist by year as well? It's just hard to see how many people are in each year

Hi and thank you for the question! This was actually our original idea, to sort the masterlist into both year and house, however it got confusing as we did it, and we couldn’t find a convenient way to do it. I’ll try working on the masterlist again and see if I can find some way to do it ^^ Thank you!

does this roleplay accept transgender and genderqueer students?

sorry for the late reply to this anon! yes, academia is open to and accepting of muses who identify by any genderform or sexuality. while there are certain things and ideas that are more “taboo” so to speak in Korean society, they still exist, and we will not exclude muses unless there is literally something incorrect about your application, or there is another issue.

Well I (Admin Siso) would definitely love to see more underrated male faceclaims! Muses from groups like VICTON, VERIVERY, ROMEO, HotShot and more would be lovely to see! I would also like some muses from Seventeen or some male actors for example Kim Jisoo or Nam Joohyuk!

It’s not worded weirdly at all! Yes, it is possible, and we don’t limit the muns to pick simple ordinary Muggle or Wizarding  jobs. For example, our Jungkook reserve has specified that his parents both work for the Ministry of Magic, and even their jobs within the organization!

If you want to apply as a prefect, does that automatically make you a head girl/boy? Or do you have to specify whether you are a head girl/boy?

Hello! Considering there is not a high demand in prefect positions, it is possible to pick up the head girl/boy position, but you will need to specify it in the app, but remember, its only one of each per year. So there can be only one head girl/boy for Y11, Y12 and Y13.

Hello!! Yes, it if definitely possible! We have quite a few apps that have students transferred from different schools, one specifically from Mahoutokoro School of Magic.

since the rp is set after the second wizarding war, would it be possible for our muses to have participated/witnessed the war?

To an extent, yes! Don’t expect your muse to have been like Harry Potter who killed Voldemort, and helping would have been limited, your muse would’ve helped with barely anybody noticing, which means they wouldn’t have had helped much. A way your muse could’ve “helped” could for example have been like joining Dumbledore’s Army! But everybody who isn’t currently a Year 8 student at Hogwarts, would have probably witnessed the battle between Harry Potter and Voldemort the 2nd May. They also would’ve experienced the strict laws and everything there had been going on.

So, you don't start your magical education until you're sixteen? If Hogwarts is basically high school, does that mean there are magical middle schools somewhere? Or do you just straight up not start learning magic / finding out your a wizard if you're a muggleborn until you're sixteen

Hello and thank you for the question! Hogwarts still starts at the age of 16, when they receive the letter from the school, hence why the youngest age a muse can be is 16. Before that age, depending on their bloodline, they would have gone to different schools. Muggleborns would be going to normal middle school, Purebloods and Halfbloods - a wizzarding high school. Once they turn 16, they receive a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I hope this explanation makes sense, and if not, don’t be scared to send in other questions!

so how do the Hogwarts years work? Because seventh year is usually 17/18, but you're calling that 9th year. So do you still get your letter at 11? Does first and second year not exist and you start in third year? I'm just a bit unsure how the year system works here

“Real” life Hogwarts is kind of like middle school and high school merged together, Acciokrp Hogwarts is more high school and university merged together. You start your first year of Hogwarts when you’re 16/17, first year of Hogwarts is called Year 8th. You then go to Hogwarts for six years, so from grade 8th till grade 13th. So the system goes;- Age 16/17 - Year 8- Age 17/18 - Year 9- Age 18/19 - Year 10- Age 20/21 - Year 11- Age 21/22 - Year 12- Age 22/23 - Year 13

So no! You do not get your letter at Year 11, but at year 13!

Are people welcoming here? I've been in a few closed rps recently where I'd get like no welcome messages or messages to plot in the first week at all and it sort of ruins the experience sometimes when you feel like you're not really wanted in a roleplay environment.

it says that chunghwa students live on campus. are there are pictures or references as to what those look like?

hello anon! we don’t currently have precise pictures or anything for any of the schools, unfortunately. not all students live on campus, either, but the dorms do exist as an amenity of the school. if you are trying to envision what they look like exactly, here’s links to a few images of what i think the dorms could look like (my fellow admins are welcome to chime in if they disagree or have more ideas)!

here’s an imgur album. these are only ideas, of course, to help you visualize what the dorms might look like. the first is a social space, the second is what the interior could look like. the actual chunghwa campus could be imagined, for those who’ve seen this show, a little smaller than the size of ouran academy, and the dorm would take up a pretty fair portion of it seeing as it’s chunghwa international academy, emphasis on an internationally varied student body. the students’ dorms get a little more leeway as far as decorations (perhaps it’s the school’s way of making up for any brain damage due to the rigorous classes), so the dorm layouts and lounges are a lot more comfortable, with more indulgent amenities than you’d expect chunghwa to allow.

How is the group like OOC, is it easy to get to know people.

yes, it’s very easy to get to know other members! we’ve noticed that everyone’s extremely welcoming with each other. if hopping on the dash and seeing as much fun, ooc dash commentary as you see meaningful, substantial threads are your ideal, i think you’ll enjoy being on the dash. :3 -admin tadashi

i think the ooc interactions are pretty stellar here! everyone has been very good about interacting with as many people as possible to make them feel included and welcoming new members. there’s been a lot of joking around and such ooc, too, but without taking away from the actual ic interactions, if that makes sense. all in all I think it’s great and you’ll definitely feel welcome and get to know some great people! ^^ - admin honey
