End Of The Song
I’d like to see you once again, as I did for
The first time, years ago. I can’t now, any more.
I’d like to see you once again, just like before,
When we were strangers, splendidly, and nothing more.
I’d like to hear you asking me: How young are you?
What do you do in the evening? – Old questions – that one, too –
And later then with a familiarity brand-new
Talking to me with countless words, you’d bill and coo.
I’d like to yearn delightedly again, to crave
To gaze at you so long, so dumbstruck, so in love,
And when you’ve made me sad again, to misbehave,
To weep my foolish tears, as I too often have.
But that’s all in the past. It’s just a comedy.
Are you the one who’s changed, or is it down to me?
Neither of us can counteract it, possibly.
What a few years can do: amazing, it can be.
I’d like to read your darling letters once again,
Words only someone who’s in love knows what they mean.
And yet I think the time for that’s already gone.
How very unforgiving is the small word “Been!”
*
Mir jene tausend Worte Liebe sagen.

New Production Preview 2012 (Met Opera)
"My Lover Smiling"
"Their Brains Are Boiled"
"High on the Headland"
Sinopse: Numa ilha remota

Powder Her Face van Reisopera hekelt dubbele seksuele moraal

Headcanon time.
Doing some research, Natalie's surname Scatorccio, is a maimed version (makes sense since she's Italo-American), but similar versions of her surname are distributed between Lazio, Emilia Romagna and Marche.
Also Scatorccio kinda sounds like catorcio which means something old and in bad shape, without value. I swear if they did it on purpose...
Anyway, she's from Marche because it's such an underrated, but tranquil region. And her parents sometimes speak dialect.
While Lottie has Maori ancestries (like Courtney) and while I know nothing about Maori culture I can imagine the following.

If there was one thing her shitty parents had taught her that stuck with her was something from a foreign land, even more far away than fucking Canada, than the current isolated woods they were trapped in.
Her mom liked to murmur it under her visible cold breath from their beat down, leaking trailer. It was like a mantra to her, bottle in hand, slightly rocking herself back and forth, her eyes glazed over.
"A dicembre 'gni cosa adè sacra e preziosa. Remember it, Nat. 'Gni cosa té lu su' valore..." She murmured again before coughing.
A voice erupted from the other room, "SHUT UP!" A heavy boot flew over her mother's head thunking loudly on the floor.
Her mother rarely flinched anymore, neither truly present in her body or mind. Her father strode the kitchen in heavy steps. The woman didn't even turn her head.
A broken sob choked down behind his throat, "Just...stop talking..." He passed his trembling hands through his disheveled hair.
Nat didn't know it back then, between her own fat cough and her eyes watering from a flurry of sneezes, but her mother had been right all along.
In December, everything is sacred and precious.
Every piece of dead, cold and hard meat, every stored, burning piece of wood. Every new breath.
You could never know when the cold would get to you. Like with Jackie, like Javi still out there somewhere. Most likely dead.
/ / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / smt smt
Also Lottie and Nat arguing again about the tea or some other ritual involving harm on Lottie's side.
Nat's s tired and annoyed by Lottie's behaviour, she doesn't recognize her anymore and it scares, so she storms out. Tea cold, Travis still preparing, insulating his body with extra pages, expression confused, brow pulled.
Lottie holding her breath until the door slams closed, the lingering cold brushing past her cheeks, renovating the air with something cold, something dangerous.
She exhales right as she pushes a flat palm against the fogged freezing window.
Her blood, from the tip of her finger, smears against the window. She draws, absent minded, fingers gliding like an artist has dine hundreds of times.
Lottie's not really there and when she's done, she finds she's drawn some stylized antlers. They aren't deer's, like the one hanging over the wall.
No.
Lottie muses, they are softer and wider.
A moose, perhaps.
A sign? A gift?
Lottie doesn't know. She hesitates and second guesses, stumbles on her words, but she knows this means something.
She watches just in time as Nat struggles in the snow, sinking with every new step.
Lottie can only stare at her with worry and longing, hoping her offering's enough for today.
She'll try again tomorrow. And the day after.
Anything to make sure Nat will stay safe.
"Kia kaha..." She whispers to the glass and the wind outside, hoping It'll carry her words to the stubborn, caring girl.
"Be strong."
And please come back safe...

HEADCANON FOR GO/OG (part 2):
•Sangoku is seen as the older brother/the parent of the entire team, even by the third years.
•the second year players are the most troublesome of the entire team, and also the most difficult to manage with Aitor.
•Gabriel grew up in a family of all women (his have 2 mothers and 3 sisters) and for this reason he feels comfortable with girls, and this is one of the reasons why he always has (and he doesn't even know why) pads or tampons in his bag to lend out when needed, and the girls love him for this.
•Arion at the end of Galaxy has made honey blonde locks of hair.
•the first years have a group chat called "the rebel children" and the name was Aitor's idea.
•Miyabino/Preston and Lucian/Hikaru are the adopted children of Jude and David along with their older sister Chiara (my OC).
•Michel/Kurama and Doug/Minamisawa are together in a romantic relationship.
•Michel, Adè and Eugene are best friends.
•sometimes Shinsei Raimon, Royal/Teikoku and Seidouza/Mount Olympus have played friendlies organized by Jude, Mark and Axel, and most of these matches end with The trio Break does some demonstrations together with the help of David, Dave and Austin and the boys from the three schools are always very happy to see them play.
•almost all Raimon members are neurodivergent.
Usually Aitor and Gabriel insult each other or insult people in Spanish, and the same happens with other people who speak a different language to Raimon.
Senguuji Yamato/Quentin Cinquedea he lived for a few months with Gouenji/Axel and Yuuka/Julia after the end of GO and if with Axel he had a decent/good relationship, with Julia it was a Tom and Jerry relationship but over time their relationship also improved.
NOW A LITTLE LORE ABOUT CHIARA (my OC)
Chiara love it when people call me with the Japanese suffix Chan, senpai or by the brothers oneesan.
then when she speaks to a friend or a teammate of Resistance Japan she calls them darling or dear, instead when she speaks to a family member she often uses affectionate Italian names
Her Keshin is inspired by the figure of Persephone from Greek mythology and is called " lady Persephone the Queen of the Underworld" and her element is fire.
I'll probably do a 3rd part though.

Okay but imagine werewolf Shay chasing down Adèwalè (or literally anyone else. I'm only thinking Adè cus I played that mission the other day)
Idk how to word but that sounds like it would be absolutely terrifying
Oooooooh yeah I have so many thoughts about this but I've been on set this whole week and Brain is Soup ™️so this may seem a bit scattered- (and I may add pieces later :P)
But. I have revolved ideas of how the Shay vs His Old Pals fights would go now that he's a werewolf in my mind like pizza pockets in the microwave and I have come to the conclusion that the most dramatic confrontation is gonna be with Hope.
All the Assassins know Shay's a wolf before he gets yote off a cliff and they know his weaknesses- because he willingly shared details as he discovered them before Lisbon. Achilles all but demanded full reports and that meant... testing limits. Each face off is gonna be a match made in hell for Shay since each Assassin has a specialized niche that lines up perfectly with one of his weaknesses.
Hope is the only one who dabbles on the more... chemical side of things. Wolfsbane, for example >:}
Honestly, thinking about it, Shay's very first face off with an ex-ally (Le Chasseur? I think? Gotta fact check LOL) will probably be the roughest where he's still trying to wrangle everything about being a werewolf and the confrontation ends up more violent for it.
By the time he gets to Adèwalè there's gonna be even more ***FEELINGS*** involved re: Haytham... so maybe he will wolf out a bit. Righteous fury and all that. Haytham's mixed emotions about the whole thing will definitely be something Shay picks up on and reacts to, I think.
I'm so open to bouncing ideas around mostly cuz I'm plotting as I go XD
#wolfsrandomramblings#in the winds that will howl#werewolf au#shay cormac#haytham kenway#ac rogue#assassin's creed rogue#🐺#I hope you know I got this ask and have been waiting super excitedly until I could sit at home and answer it as well as brain will allow <3#ask me anything about my doggo idiots I love them your honour

David Adès: Our Griefs
1.When they were little and not yet anguishwe nurtured our griefs,we coddled them, said there, there, things will get better.Even then, our griefs had no interestin such reassurances, were self-sufficient. Our griefs were busy feedingand did not answer. They knew us better than we knew ourselves. How could we know, in our innocence, that we were already in love with our deaths, that we leaned towards…
