What the fuck.

That was the first thought that came out of you once you found out what you were in the vast expanse of space you had woken up into. The Aeon of Elation seemed pleased with the reaction they got out of you, as incomprehensible as your form may have been.

They laughed and then left you there by your lonesome, without a clue to what your path even was and how the fuck you were even meant to function.

You groaned, guessing you’ll really just find that out yourself.

You spent your time thinking in the first short years of your existence in the little plane you resided in, happy to at least know where you ended up in and what you were. You were reincarnated in Honkai Star Rail, and you were an Aeon. From which path you were even on, you don’t know, at least not yet.

It had taken some time, a VERY long time, to get an inkling of what path you treaded on. And in those years the other Aeons; like Lan, and even Fulli did find you— you have yet to meet Xipe, but you have met Yaoshi.

It was… something to say the least. Herta had been right in calling them a lonely romantic.

It was a little eerie, remembering them speak to you with such care and joy— a new life, they called you. They didn’t seem to mind much when you didn’t have a voice, you weren’t even sure yourself if you had one, thinking at the back of your mind that maybe you were like The Nihility.

That thought had been cut short when Yaoshi somehow figured out where your lips were, and shamelessly kissed you.

It was only then you had managed to find a voice, as meager and as cracked and strange as it sounded. They only cooed in response to you, mumbling as they gently touched your form.

“You are new, and yet you are familiar.” They told you. “I have felt you somewhere before.” Their arms stretched wantonly as their many eyes looked at you. “I know you, and yet I do not. I wonder why that is.” They smiled, and you can hear the branches stretch— a sound rather unnerving, it sounded more like bones and flesh rather than wood. If Yaoshi noticed your unease, they don’t tell you.

It took a while for them to leave, promising you that they will come back here again to visit but not without leaving another kiss, and the light sting of their tail on your body— a spot that became the back of your neck once you managed to acquire a more.. comprehensive image of yourself at some point after the encounter.

You never really quite recovered from that.

But at least you discovered your voice.

It was your arms that had come next, and it was unfortunate that a few planets have met their demise in your discovery. You still mourn them to this day, somehow feeling bad even with the absence of a human heart.

The rest of your body had come to you easily, and once you acquired it, people had discovered you. You remained elusive though, not wanting an accidental repeat of the planets you destroyed, and yet they still sought you out anyways.

You didn’t know how much time had passed, not that it mattered; you couldn’t die, you couldn’t age nor did you need to rush.

In those years, again your cries echoed in the cosmos once more— you see, you ate an Aeon, actually no, you ate two.

You didn’t mean it, and your panic had been embarrassingly broadcasted for everyone and everything to hear.

(You didn’t know it then but your entire cries were heard across the cosmos and needless to say people were more terrified than concerned as it either manifested as a power outage with your incomprehensible voice, or manifesting through television in the form of disembodied static.)

It had been an experience to say the least, figuring out who the hell you accidentally ate. One of them had been Akivili, and the other? Mythus.

Could an Aeon even sweat bullets?

You immediately made the connection that they were unfortunate casualties of your circumstances— as someone who once resided outside of the world of the imaginary tree. You didn’t know Mythus, but you do know Akivili was precious to the Express.

And you just ate them.

You sulked in your little corner for a few years, and at some point you could have sworn Aha laugh at you— you swatted them away in your regret, the Elation still again laughing at your misery.

It had taken a while for you to stand up (could you?) and take on a more… mortal friendly form, because the last time someone had tried going near you, they got reversed.

In a sense that their body simply deconstructed itself into strange, geometric shapes then nothing. If you had been human, you think this would have been utterly horrific for you.

But somehow you knew it would happen to anyone who came close enough to your real form.

You figured that having a human form would be less fatal for the others— convenient too, it was smaller, and arguably easier to look at without fearing madness or turning into shapes.

So you project yourself as one in front of the Express once you spotted it at a stop.

“Hello?” You softly greeted the residents of the Express, you noticed it was only Himeko and Welt at this point in time, but even so, they looked like they were going to shit themselves from seeing you.

Pompom had weirdly enough hid behind a flower pot.

Seeing this made you immediately sulk.

Himeko hesitantly approached you. “Hello… what can we help you with?” Himeko was unsure of what to do too, and honestly you can’t blame her. It wasn’t everyday the equivalent of a God walks into your door to say hi.

It was a shame they were afraid of you, you had dressed for the occasion— a semi formal attire consisting of a long coat, a dress shirt with a bolo tie, a vest, shorts and formal shoes.

“I came here to apologize.” You said, it came out flatter than you would have liked and you internally cringed.

“Come again?” Himeko blinked rather awkwardly.

You took a deep breath (you swore you could see the Finnish old man beside her tense) and exhaled. “I’m sorry for eating Akivili.”

“I didn’t mean to.” You added, sulking even more. Your mood was so damp that Pompom couldn’t resist but try to comfort you.

“Come in and take a seat please.” The little conductor said a little shakily, handing you a napkin that you politely refused. You were obviously sad, but you couldn’t physically produce tears for some strange reason.

Since you couldn’t cry, Pompom gave you a glass of water instead.

It was surreal to be able to taste things again after needing technically nothing.

But back on Himeko and Welt, they don’t really know what to make of you, as evident by the confused stare that they gave to each other while you were stuck on your seat posed like you were thinking of the Roman Empire.

You were rather expressive and close to human for a cosmic entity, and for you to apologize for accidentally eating their Aeon? Unheard of.

It wasn’t like you could spit Akivili out of you either.

While you were admittedly a stranger, there were no signs or feelings of hostility from you, you were genuinely sorry and upset for eating their Aeon. Himeko recalled the static from the broadcast and came to the realization that it had been you who they had heard crying, as terrifying as it sounded.

Himeko and Welt did ended up talking to you again in the end, reassuring you it was okay that you did what you did because you didn’t mean it anyways, and that ended up with you saying you’re going to bless the Path of the Trailblaze because there was no way you were going to leave the express to be parentless.

You had other agendas aside from that of course, but they didn’t seem to mind.

However a discussion was made to keep your identity secret when you had told the three people in the crew you didn’t like the attention the scientific community was giving you.

Being observed like a specimen in a National Geographic™️ documentary wasn’t really your thing, as natural as it was.

In the express, you weren’t an Aeon, you were simply [Name]. And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Though, how the fuck did they even figure out you were an Aeon immediately?

Guess you’ll never know.

There was an accident. DogDelve was being as charmingly Idiotic as THEY are and somehow failed to notice the giant AEON that THEY have an inate sense of location of at all times. We nearly got consumed by THEM, but managed to warp the train far enough from THEIR pull. Some of our systems are down from warping out of a suction, DogDelve is working to fix them.

I can't look out the window. Laying eyes on THEM fills me with such negative feelings I can't put into words. Due to being an Aeon THEMSELF, I asked DogDelve to describe THEM for me. This marks my second expierence meeting an Aeon, so I want to make the most of it. [Above is my sketch.]

"Hm? You wanna know more? Well you aaaareee aware I didn't get much.....scratch that I didn't get info about anything before I ascended sooooo I'm almost as confused as you are about their existence. But! As an Aeon myself, I do have some sort of 'feeling' about the other Aeons activity. For example, The Hunt is on the move nearly all the time! Their energy signal is almost moving as fast as we were. But IX? Not only are they stationary now, they've been stationary ever since i could feel them. Theyre just....doing nothing. Due to THEIR little 'friendly chat' with IX, i can conclude that IX doesn't chat, not even with other Aeons. How groundbreaking. For the record, I am scolding DogDelve.

All in All, this Aeon doesn't seem to have much of a past nor future. 1/10, wouldn't recommend encountering.

Would any of the international characters (Fei, Aeon, Jessica etc.) have angels?

Okay, you inspired me to dust off my tablet. I don't see myself fitting them into the story proper, so for fun, here's Fei, Aeon, and Jess. Uh, keep in mind that I haven't watched either of these specials:

I hate LadyDragon's McDonald's Ass color scheme.

I deviated from the "sort of but not a school uniform" for Fei cuz I think she deserves some funky cool CLAMP fashion. she's too good for the boring jeans and tshirt they gave her, though if she's tight on money then it makes some sense.

In this AU, Aeon totally knows what she's doing with her naked and weird named angel. She's having a big laugh behind that vacant smile when people kick up a fuss. At least in tHIS universe, she's just a doll!

Originally I was gonna put her blue sun thing as a patch on the blazer but her hair covered it up, so it's moved to the cuff. My rule for translating most of the characters is Make the Hair Bigger lol thus the massive braid for Eagle. Spoiler Alert, but in the anime there are three angel characters that sprout angel wings and it's never?? explained how???? I guess we're supposed to accept it as another possible glitch, so I think Jess would feel real proud of unlocking it and making it her own with the eagle wings.

Got an idea, it’s been plaguing my mind for weeks now. Know genshin cult au? Well take the sagau out of it and add in honkai star rail!

Cult au with the Aeon’s and their darlings. The followers of the different aeons are the cult members. Some cults have one darling while others having multiple. The only thing completely the same being the fact that the Aeons are the one’s choosing the darlings(only being chosen by their followers if they of course physically cannot like Idrila or Akivili)

Right now I'm gonna only do the aeon’s that I’m familiar with and also smut warning but it probably won’t be accurate as I am asexual and never actually had sex before. Also this will technically be non-con as its a cult and very heavy themes of yandere with violence genocide having your loved ones be killed right in front of you,forced worship, gaslighting, manipulation, and a messed up viewpoint of ‘taking care of someone’ so please don’t read if your not comfortable with this.

Minors DNI

First I’d have to start with akivili themselves. It might be a little bit disappointing to you but they would be the least concerning of all the possible cults. The trailblazers quite literally are travelers so they’re darling is not trapped, akivili likely only had one darling who he adventures with and that's the only darling the nameless have. The real only yandere part of this is the fact that the nameless are all overprotective. Akivili had been overprotective but still wouldn’t do anything as they loved the trailblaze, when they mysteriously vanished the darling stayed behind and still helped the nameless do their trailblazing. When the train broke down darling fell into a coma until himeko found the train and repaired it. Now the trailblazers defy the norms and actually set off to free all the darlings eternally trapped in the depths of the aeons clutches.

Now everything after this gets serious.

Let's start with lan the hunt.

Lan has no official main darling, he marks those who he deems either worthy or vulnerable. And the xianzhou alliance hunts them down and brings them to the xianzhou. Instead of normally getting married like normal people the people who can hunt down those marked by the hunt can marry them-even multiple of these darlings if can get multiple of them(lets just say jing yuan and Feixiao have many darlings-collect them like cat) the purpose is to show everyone that your the strongest because you’ve proven yourself the most to the hunt by collecting the most darlings. What you do with the darlings is up to the person who captured them. They say the general jing yuan has gotten many of his darlings pregnant as proof of his victory, feixiao’s darlings are known for not being able to walk after a night with her. All the darlings are usually covered head to toe in all sorts of hickeys and bite marks as proof of the cultists victory. Very rough treatment that the darlings go through.

Not nearly as rough as the darlings of Nanook have to endure though. Nanook believed that the universe is a mistake, everything except for their darlings of course. The less than a handful of darlings that Nanook chose. The followers of Nanook are only allowed to have the darling that Nanook himself picked out. Nanook himself is very cruel to his darlings but he sees it as “showing them the truth” He’ll kill one of his darlings entire family in front of them while having one of his followers eat them out to slowly train them into thinking that annihilating the universe is the best possible thing to do. Other than completely destroying everything that they love he treats the darlings like kings or queens and their followers obviously picking up on this and replicating this.

Now weirdly enough I’m thinking a lot about the Aeon Idrila, I’d imagine before her disappearance or death? Whatever happened to her, she was an aeon who actually took a lover rather than a darling. However, upon her not being there anymore her followers became delusional and thought they had to trap and contain beauty or else it’ll leave them just like idrila did. The knights of beauty are the only cultists in the universe that actually choose their darlings because idrila can’t. On new years eve they track down the most beautiful girl/boy they can find, kidnap them, then forcibly pleasure them until they’ve reached the pinnacle of beauty that they could make and then encase them in resin so they’ll never look any different-with a pleasure toy stuck on one of there most sensitive spots so they still feel pleasure even after being encased eternally. It also would’ve been super cool if Idrila had a main darling who was actually her lover but was kidnapped by the knights of beauty after her disappearance because they were afraid to lose idrilas last living proof of having existed, so after new years all 364 days are spent maintaining and upholding the main darling’s beauty-making them even more beautiful with endless pampering, lotions, and beauty care products. They’re also always overstimulated out of there mind because theres nothing more beautiful than someone constantly about to orgasm-according to the knights of beauty of course.

For the preservation I’d like to imagine that the main darling of Qlipoth is on the run from the IPC because they’ve long abandoned the will of the preservation but still pretend like they didn’t. Of course losing the main darling must’ve been the most humiliating thing possible so the IPC has kept it under wraps in the excuse that the main darling is ‘sick’ while secretly trying to hunt them down. They've come disgustingly close to getting the main darling and once they do the main darling is never going to see the light of day again. On the side note the other darlings are usually kept as pets or sugar babies. Sometimes the pet play gets a little too intense…

I'm going to end on the harmony because God that'd be a nightmare. Darlings of the harmony are chosen by xipe when they've been abused, hurt, or are in disharmony. Claiming that they need ‘help’. These darlings used to get actual help like therapy or a better opportunity to life but ever since the order became more prevelant they're now taken from there homes and kept under the ‘protection’ of the family. The family is there to bring them to ‘harmony’ which includes mind control, chains, and an endless amount of orgasms. One thing that is disappointing is the fact that people never talk about just how horrifying the harmony is, like you could be on the brink of orgasming and the harmony can make any pleasure you feel 10 times more intense and unavoidable, add the order and you can orgasm without ever even being touched. So intense you can't even remember your own name anymore. some ‘unruly’ darlings might even be drugged to the point there high out of there mind and can't even coherently think. The darlings of the harmony may be kept in gilded dreams and paradise but freedom stopped being an option.

One day a young singer named Robin found herself asking; ‘when did the harmony become less like the harmony and more like the order’

Player's Data Bank - Entry No.2: DogDelve

After we repaired the Express and warped to our next destination. DogDelve recalled that I was writing an entry for IX and requested that THEY should have an entry in the Data Bank as well. I declined, saying that since we will be travelling together for the forseeable future, I wouldn't exactly require an entry about THEM. THEY then procceded to....throw what can only be described as a hissy fit. So here we are.

I met THEM not long after THEY ascended, so other than building the train that we journey on, THEY have no feats. However, THEY claim that during ascension, THEY obtained a certain amount of Information about THEIR abilities. I've decided that the best way to go about this is a Q&A session, and have written my questions and THEIR answers below.

"What exactly IS the Trailblaze, in simple terms?"

"Why, It's the will to break out of your confines and forge your own path! Quite literally blazing a trail!"

"I see....you've stated that I am now a 'Pathstrider.' What does that mean?"

"Oh, that! Us Aeons can grant power to those who follow our paths. You're actually the first Pathstrider of the Trailblaze!!"

"And I am honored to be, but...that's all there is to It? What are these powers?"

"Pretty Much! And that is for you to find out! They vary from person to person, I'm sure we'll encounter a scenerio where they reveal themself. The galaxy is vast beyond compare after all!"

"Concerning.... moving on, what can YOU do, in terms of abilities?"

"Ooh! If I stare reeeeeeally hard at someone after they pique my interest, they become this thing called an 'Emanator.' Those are basically pathstriders but OP."

"That is interesting, however, that sounds like a general Aeon thing. Anything that you can do specifically?"

"Well uh........I think I have immortality? Wait no we all have that..... I don't think I actually know that. Sorry, I know you wanted info but I'm...regrettably not the greatest source...Sorry for pestering you about being in the data bank."

"No no no, It's fine! Info is Info, and you've provided more then I could find on my own......ooooone last question though."

"Yes?"

"So is it a general Aeon thing to be as short as you are, or-"

"HEYYYYYY >:("

That is all of the Important Info I obtained from our exchange, but I feel like I did learn more than I expected to. About THEM, at least. For being a Cosmic Being that could wipe out civilizations, THEY seem very...mortal. Really puts it into perspective on how anyone could be an Aeon if they have strong enough ideals.

I've just had a devious idea

What if something from the Void, something that the Creator was standing as a gate against, somehow broke through into the material realm?

I see the Creator absolutely going to fight it, to take it down before anything serious happens. Not out of benevolence or the need to protect the material realm, but because it is not yet time for these creatures to breach into the material realm.

There is an appointed time that they will break through, and the Vreator will not tolerate any slipping through before this time.

How do you think the characters would view this?

I can see many of them that just blindly follow Them see it as an act of benevolence. Because of course their beloved Creator would defend them against such monstrosities.

But people like Herta, people who have gleened the Creators intentions, they see it as a prelude to something worse. That this isn't an act of protection from the Creator, but a show that the end is nigh, and that at the end of it all the Creator won't lift a finger for them.

Another point, because I don't really want to throw it into another ask: Who's having Creators child? Basing them heavily off of Yog-sothoth (to the point they literally are just Them), Yog-sothoth has a child named Hastur with a human female.

I can absolutely see Herta volunteering, but not because she sees it as an blessing or anything of the sort, but rather because this is a chance to study something completely new to her.

Oh, this is peak cosmic horror storytelling. The Creator as a gatekeeper, not out of kindness, but out of adherence to a timeline only they understand? The idea that the real horror hasn’t even begun yet, that this isn’t a rescue—it’s just keeping the schedule intact? Absolutely chilling.

The Worshippers

They see the Creator rising to fight and immediately interpret it as an act of divine protection. To them, this is proof that their faith was well-placed, that the Creator loves them, that they will be spared from the horrors beyond the veil.

The Skeptics

The moment they realize why the Creator is intervening, their blood runs cold.

Herta watches with fascinated horror. She understands now—the Creator is not here to protect them. They are not a benevolent god. This is merely a correction, a keeper of the timeline ensuring that the true end arrives precisely when it is meant to.

Aglaea is terrified. The brief moment of relief when the Creator fights the void is crushed by the weight of what this means. If this was premature, then what is coming will be so much worse.

Mydei, if aware, would be deeply disturbed. His life, his struggles, his victories—they were all preordained. He suspected it, but now he knows for certain.

The Pragmatists

Castorice sees this and, for a moment, feels relief—the Creator is here. The one being that cannot be touched, that cannot be harmed, is intervening. But then she realizes—this is not protection. It’s maintenance. And if she prays for help when it is truly needed, the Creator will not answer.

Phainon and Tribbie are stuck between dread and resignation. They knew the Creator was powerful, but now they see it: their world is an ember in a storm.

The Trailblazer and Dan Heng already knew the Creator wasn’t some merciful god. But watching them fight only for the sake of keeping the timeline intact? That cements it.

And the worst part?

The Creator wins. The breach is sealed. The void is pushed back. And everyone else is left to stew in the knowledge that their world is living on borrowed time.

Oh, this is cursed. But also incredibly compelling.

Herta Absolutely Volunteers

But not for some sentimental, worshipful reason. No, she does it because this is a new frontier of knowledge. A chance to glean something about the Creator that no one else could ever comprehend.

To her, this isn’t divine conception. This is a grand experiment.

The idea of creating something that shares the nature of the Creator, something that might let her understand even a fragment of their mind, is too good to pass up.

The other Aeons, the Heirs, the Genius Society? They are horrified.

Castorice would want it, But for the wrong reasons

She would never say it out loud, but if she knew it was possible? If she knew she could forge an unbreakable connection with the one being she can’t harm? She would take that chance.

Sunday & Argenti would consider it a divine blessing

They’d fight over the opportunity, believing it to be the ultimate devotion. But would the Creator even entertain the idea? Or would they look upon them with amusement, indifference, or something worse?

The Child Itself? A Living Paradox

Would it be mortal? Immortal? A being beyond comprehension?

Would it be a key to the void, or something even the Creator cannot control?

Would it inherit knowledge of the timeline? Or would it be a blank slate, doomed to be shaped by the horrors its own parent allows to unfold?

Herta, ever the scientist, wouldn’t care. The risk is irrelevant. What matters is the discovery.

And the Creator?

They would allow it.

Not because they care.

Not because it is an act of love.

But simply because they find it… interesting.

Honkai Star Rail isekai au but instead of being isekai'd as like a member of the express, Y/n or whateva gets isekai'd as a fucking Aeon. And they so desperately want to interact and nudge the characters in the right direction but bc, y'know, they're now a being of cosmic power, it's a little hard to do so without the possibility of accidentally blowing shit up or scaring the hell out of people bc of your massive, incomprehensible form

Edit: I just remembered that Aeons can sometimes assimilate with other aeons if their paths overlap and if one is broader than the other, imagine if Aeon!Y/N accidentally does it cause the path they claimed to be was a broader concept than another Aeons, and now this new Aeon just straight up accidentally ate another one that's been around way longer and everyone is terrified meanwhile they're just like;
