If I had a nickel for every Grimwalker of Philip I’ve made that was essentially just a silly little creature I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

(Somewhat inspired by @catboymoments’s Hyacinth but mostly my own creation)

This silly creature’s name is Percival, because The Scarlet Pimpernel is what started AFLMAU and I’ll be damned if I miss a reference to it.

I’m not sure exactly where to put them yet. I know they’re going to be a next gen character, but I don’t have a clear idea of who created them or why yet. If y’all have any ideas, feel free to suggest them!

Google search how to write multiple different characters all having separate character arcs that only somewhat overlap (and when they do overlap it’s often an explosive reaction) and all having different but undeniably bad reactions to the trauma they’ve endured in uniquely awful ways without making it feel rushed, too slow, wonky or otherwise bad pacing, make sure no character gets overshadowed or brushed to the side while also focusing on one character as the “main” character, add plot and foreshadowing that doesn’t feel forced or rushed, and stay faithful to all of their core characters while also showing how they’ve changed from canon due to their experiences, while simultaneously keeping in mind that due to the format of chapters being published individually that the reader’s perception of time passing will be different than the writer’s and will inevitably skew the pacing in unpredictable ways
