Shownu - instantly loved by everyone, grandma and aunts swoon bc 1) handsome and 2) oh shit he eats that good??? Have some more son, shakes all hands even baby hands, is quiet w the uncles but every once in a while says something in the most serious tone ever and they start hollering bc he’s hilarious, kids start to climb all over him bc of his height he’s got a kid in his arms one on his back and another wrapped around his leg and he looks completely ok w it, even the family dog falls in love has stayed by his side the entire time, he gives it an occasional belly rub, at the end he says good bye to everyone and grandma packs a nice to go plate for him, he eats it on the way back doesn’t even let it get cold

Wonho - v shy extremely quiet but immensely polite, greets everyone w a warm smile and his sparkly eyes, all aunts and cousins are in shock... The cousins and uncles ask about his workout routine and laugh bc holy shit? For real? All that? Respect buddy so much respect, eats v well grandma and aunts look so pleased, doesn’t speak much but when he does its compliments and grandma might’ve blushed, the kids run past him asking if they can touch his biceps and all he can do is give a small laugh and put out his arm, they line up one by one and take turns, grandma packs a nice plate of leftovers, he eats it before bed and begins recalling how nice everyone was w him and what a good time he had

Minhyuk - speaks to everyone literally EVERYONE! Even the 2 month old baby a cousin just had and especially the baby another cousin is expecting, compliments the food numerous times and it makes grandma and aunts all happy and giddy bc he eats extremely well, jokes w the uncles and cousins and has them all laughing to the point of tears, pulls out paper?? And... crayons?????? Out of nowhere and starts doodling at a table w all the little ones he asks them to draw him whales and says he’ll keep them and hang them up somewhere, the kids go wild, u turn to look where he’s at and see him in the distance suddenly taking off his shoes and getting on a trampoline u let him jump for a while before u go over he’s got a big smile on his face that turns huge when he sees the kids running over to jump w him, at the end he packs himself his own plate of leftovers and eats it as he says his goodbyes

Kihyun - shy, courteous, polite and a bit awkward but nothing wrong w that, grandma starts blushing as kihyun compliments her outfit her house just a bunch of compliments, the aunts stay quiet carefully watching his next move bc oh he smooth, the uncles are playing some card game and he joins and loses like $30 he’s not too happy about that but the uncles have a blast seeing his seriously upset face they go all in or nothing for the last game and he somehow ends up winning the uncles look at him like ok u bluff... u bluff good son... our respect, loves babies!!! All the babies!! He sees ur cousin w the 2 month old and before u can even finish asking if he wants to carry the baby he says yes and spends a good while cradling it, ur cousin gives u a certain look and u look away, tries to get the dog to love him by giving food under the table the dog eats it but runs away, he doesn’t ask for leftovers but gratefully takes them when they’re handed to him, he eats them the next day

Hyungwon - immediately shocks everyone the second they see him... he doesn’t look real?? A cousin who u used to binge watch anime w shoots u a text asking where u met zero from vampire knight u flick them off and laugh, sits quietly but politely and keenly answers all questions being thrown at him from every which way some aunts some kids some cousins an uncle here and there u take him away for a few minutes bc the questions ain’t stopping, charms everyone and smiles at anyone he meets eyes w, doesn’t socialize w the kids much but will pat a head when one comes to ask him another question, uncles and cousins start talking about a potential soccer match and u tell them he used to play and then next thing u know he’s starting as a right back on ur cousins team (they win), he didn’t eat much but u pack him some leftovers just in case, he eats bits and pieces the next day

Jooheon - adored by everyone immediately, grandmas got the cheek pinchers (fingers) out, nicknamed “honey” ofc, dozens of dimple compliments he smiles wider for *effect* and aunts are practically cooing, grandma aunts and cousins look at him w heart eyes as he eats so well and cutely, cousins can see the duality come out every once in a while, they are shocked, sees uncles and cousins drinking at another table he grabs a beer and goes to join them every once in a while the group lets out big laughs over something he said, u hear some sudden noises u go see and it’s him teaching cousins and kids how to beat box while jumping on a trampoline??? Grandma packs him some nice leftovers and gives his cheeks a last pinch goodbye, he eats them as soon as he’s home

Changkyun - incredibly quiet and reserved but polite af, greets everyone w a nod and small smile, the aunts ask if he’s not too hot w that hoodie on and in that moment u know he’s the one bc u were asked that way too many times growing up, eats well and compliments whoever grilled the beef, sits w the uncles w a beer in hand doesn’t say much but every once in a while will chuckle at something said, grandma aunts and cousins bombard u w questions bc he’s so ~~~mysterious~~~, high fives every kid he meets, u go ask to see if he wants leftovers and u look down to find a plate already in his hands he says grandma came over and handed it to him thanking him for coming, he eats it the next day
