I’m sorry I just realized when Daniel is talking about Alice he says: “Her eyebrow tail was blonde like a mutt. She always dyed it back to brown. I liked when she left it.”

It wasn’t about the contacts Armand sometimes wears. It was about his eyes darkening to orangey reddish brown when he’s upset and lightening to yellow orange when he’s happy.

Daniel didn’t like seeing him upset.

okay i was thinking about armand saying “she wanted to say yes. but, she didn’t trust you. you hadnt given her a reason to.” about daniels marriage proposal to alice. to me its obvious armand is actually talking about himself, specifically daniel asking armand to turn him (the potential that daniel and armand continued to meet post 1973 interview).

what i find crazy and further makes me believe that this is armand talking about himself and daniel asking armand to give him the dark gift is louis’ turn. everyone knows that the scene in the church w louis and lestat is essentially a wedding for them. the vows being about immortality. marriage tied to turning. not saying every turning is like that but to then couple that w armand interjecting and saying that while talking about daniel PROPOSING to alice. yeah.. just a connection i made

“what if Alice looks like Armand” what if Alice is a skinny pale as paper light eyed girl? what if Daniel chooses a woman who looks like the romantic ideal they painted over Amadeo for? you chase after white men who are fascinated by you for a minute, by how exotic and otherworldly you are, but then suddenly you are nothing but your powers and that too is eventually boring. so they leave you. they will always leave you. in the end, she is white and pretty and lovely. she gets to have Daniel and his pale baby girls. and you get nothing but the pain.

Ok so you know when Louis is tormenting Daniel about Alice? He asks Daniel if he’d like to know what she thinks of him now, because he can do that, if he’d like. Armand interjects, bringing them back to the interview. What if he’s covering something up

Y’all I just realized something… aren’t Armand and Daniel together in the books for like 10-12 years? On and off of course… and then in 1985 Armand turns him…

1985 in the show…. Daniel is in Paris with Alice (“you felt more comfortable holding her hand in Paris, why was that Daniel?) and asks her to marry him. She says no.

He asks Armand… 12 years after they met….. to change him….. and Armand says no…

Alice is Alice and she's important for many reasons, including the fact she's the reason Devil's Minion broke up back in the day and Armand had to erase Daniel's memories of them together.
