I accidentally upgraded to GIMP 3.0 yesterday, so now it's time to undo all of the changes they made to the default behaviour.
#pasting now puts everything on a new layer (rather than creating a floating selection) unless you manually edit the keyboard shortcut#also blur filters are “non-destructive” by default which means that they exist on their own pseudolayer instead of changing the pixels#this makes it impossible to draw lines afterwards since it has to constantly re-apply the blur filter which drops the redraw rate to 1FPS
