I'm not gonna be able to watch the episode until LATE on Sunday, so to avoid going crazy I've decided to group every new shot from the previews into what I think are their respective scenes. The scenes are gonna be in no particular order, but I'm gonna arrange the shots in what order I think they're gonna appear in the scene.

Starting with these, grouping the top pic with these other shots solely because Arajin's shirt is still dishevelled in it. I think Arajin's gonna be pretty depressed this episode, and Senya is going to try to cheer Arajin up?

All these shots have the same lighting and look like they take place within the shrine, so I think this is all gonna be one scene. The pic with Matakara on the floor is probably from before he woke up but it'd be kinda funny if he just...immediately fainted after seeing Ichiya ghdfdgdfg.

Looks like Zabu and Komao are going back to the bathhouse, and they might be talking to Matakara's relatives. I have a feeling Matakara is still going to be MIA....

I think these four are gonna happen on the same school day. Arajin in class depressed over what looks like a scrap of blue fabric (gay) followed by another Arajin and Mahoro roof scene. Mahoro looks....concerned about something? inch resting.........

Couldn't find any matches for these two shots. No clue where Kenichiro is, but I'm pretty sure Marito and Outa might be at Marito's house? (gay) Maybe what's happening with them has smthn to do with why Mahoro looks so worried.

This final shot is definitely a flashback, which I'm thinking is gonna play at the beginning of the episode. We're finally getting the toxic majin yaoi i'm frothing at the mouthhhsjfsdfgfdgs

Plot hook # 1 - Echo in the Wilds

Premise: Echo is an Arc/Solar/Stasis Hunter from Sol and has no idea what's outside of her own solar system. So when she gets to a world where everything is NEW, she's gotta climb it. She's gotta clime and jump and explore. (Imagine assassins creed mechanics but open world on some alien planet)

Thing is, she doesn't have the amount of Light she usually does to do her ability stuff like revive and use light abilities. So she's keeping scarce - sort of. She's exploring places so her ghost, Whisper, can map things out, and trying not to get killed because she's got just one revive for the day and she isn't gonna waste it!

Conflict: Echo is going to be a PEST! Which means incurring the wrath of whatever she finds - Plants, people, and maybe planetary megafauna. She may need saving OR she may need to run depending on the creatures she upsets!

Potential scenarios:

Poking giant fauna: Echo leading beasties into camp with the words "RUN!" as she passes any muse by!

Poking someone at camp: She has come upon a camp where she's not supposed to be and there are ✨Consequences✨!

Poking around a camp that isn't hers: Echo gets curious about "new neighbors" and decides to sneak into camp and see what's what. Bonus if she actually is sneaky and using Void light invisibility (for once)

Possible resolutions:

Echo and a muse become friends by out smarting or evading a Problem Creature together

Echo and whoever she poked at Camp do something to make up for her shenanigans (Though I imagine she's gonna be peeling a lot of potatoes as punishment for overdoing the shenanigans)

Echo gets caught and has to Meet Other Muses as Consequence for her actions. (Cooling her heels in a makeshift jail would be good for her, but also her escaping to an NPC's frustration would be funny)

character info in source. ... — open to anyone! the plot: some ten/twenty (?) years ago, louis took a young orphan child under his wing (he does nice things every couple of years!). he cared for them while they couldn’t & taught them to hunt wildlife and defend themselves against animals and people alike. they parted ways while the kid was still relatively young (probably because louis’ lifestyle at the time wouldn’t have been healthy for a growing child), but old enough to still have had a significant bond with louis. flash-forward to now, when louis is running as a wolf in the woods surrounding his manor and here they are, all grown up with a crossbow aimed at his heart. feel free to come plot with me, but you have my full permission to go wild!!

the soft glow of the moon over the forest is louis' only indication that it's late, but he isn't quite sure how late.  he's been running for some time now, his wolf form moving leisurely through the trees with the practiced ease of someone who knows them inside and out.  every step is instinct, every breath filled with the cool, sharp scent of the woods louis calls his home.  as his paws press against the dry earth, there's a sudden familiar sense of alertness that rises within him—he hasn't shifted in a while, but it's like a sixth sense that tells him something feels different.  it's just the subtlest shift of the air, but louis stops in his tracks, ears twitching, fur bristling.

the crack of a branch fills the silence, barely a whisper but enough to make him pause.  his senses sharpen as he scans the shadows, trying to pinpoint the source.  the scent hits him next, all at once—familiar but faint, buried under years of time.  he knows that scent.  louis takes a slow step forward, muscles coiled and ready, his unnatural, observing gaze never leaving the trees.  then he catches it—the barely-there shimmer of metal glinting in the moonlight.  a crossbow, aimed directly at his chest.

their presence is unmistakable.  they're here, but why?  what's changed since he last saw them all those years ago?  louis doesn't move, his mind racing, his wolf itching to do something.  he could easily slip away into the shadows, leave without the chance of an arrow ever connecting should it be drawn back, but this isn't the time for that.  he's not sure why he feels this way—perhaps it's the lingering affection he feels for them—but he stands still, gathering his thoughts and reaching out with the power of his mind.  he can feel it, faint as ever but steadily growing, as the bond between them surges to life.  he wonders if they will, too.

it's me.  the thought presses into the mind, gentle but urgent.  i don't want to fight you.  his mental voice carries through the forest, but whether it reaches them, whether they'll offer him any other response than their arrow surging toward him, he doesn't know.

micah watches calcifer with that same intense gaze as if he doesn't want to miss anything.  the green of his eyes is vibrantly bright as the thought of violence fills his mind — it's comfortably familiar.  the need to hurt has been a constant companion to micah for as long as he can remember.  if you asked him, he might even say he learned to hurt before he learned to love.  inflicting pain on others has always been that itch he can't quite scratch... not really, not in the way he truly desires.  not in the way he knows calcifer to be capable of.

and something about the way he's so intrigued with micah's inner thoughts excites him.  micah can count on one hand the times he's spoken about violence and been met with such an unconcerned response.  calcifer seems eager, and that dark look in the gold of his eyes feels invigorating when micah's met with it.  as he so often does when faced with a danger greater than himself, micah's chasing it, eagerly accepting calcifer's closeness with a barely-there kind of caution as he mimics califer's movements and leans in even fucking closer.  he licks his lips as a smile tugs at the edges of his mouth — something genuine and a little drunk on the idea of violence, of creating it with another.

"it ain't so much about what i see, but what i feel," micah explains, seemingly careful with the way he chooses his words.  his voice is quiet but excited, although it feels a lot like he's giving away a secret.  "i imagine it to be so.. perfect.  and it is... while it lasts.  but it never lasts, not like it does in my head."  he glances down at knuckles covered in scars as his fingers flex and his eyes dim with the memory of blood slicking his hands and bone cracking under the force of his fist.  it was beautiful and it'd felt good, but it didn't hold a candle to what he always imagined.  maybe if he'd taken life, too, it would have satiated him.  "it's all red in the end, ain't it?  but that feeling..."  he glances back up at calcifer, pursing his lips.  "the picture fades too quick, you know, and i just end up wanting it again.  wanting more."
