°-(setting: survivors cabin)-°

You were half asleep. The Spector designated this time usually for you guys, the survivors, to sleep. But the spector didn't exactly mind what you were doing. Yesterday's last round was... Different. c00lkid actually got hurt and cried, n7 gave everyone on the team hell for it. The spector was having fun, wasn't it? Now, everyone was suffering.

Builderman was yapping About the plan to kill the killer. What? They were going to try and kill the killer? You thought.B: "guys. We need to try our hardest! They've been running rampant lately and we NEED to stop them". Guest just nodded, shedletsky gave a thumbs up (his mouth was full of fried chicken, he couldn't yap like usual). Chance just flipped his coin and grinned when it landed on heads.ch: "ehh, well, looks like lucks on our side!" Two Time did what they always did. "Something, something, praise the spawn". But you, the only other sentinal, lifted your head from the table, only semi involved in the conversation. Y/n: uh.. guys, are we sure this is a good idea?". B:"....maybe not. But I do know this is necessary". Well there goes your opinion, watcha going to do about it. I mean you might play along, but not too much.

°-(setting: youriks resting place)-°

You ended up just falling asleep on the table while everyone was training, and the moment you woke up a few hours later the Spector teleported everyone into the round. You spawned next to Elliot who immediately began working on a generator. As usual. E:"hey, do you mind helping me out on the generator?" He asked, glancing up at you. Y/n: "sorry, Elliot,.but I think builderman and the rest of the team want me to focus on helping them as much as possible, as much as I would love to help".E:".....oh, okay! I'll be over there soon to help out".

The spector decided to be a dick again and make there be two killers. Interestingly enough the same as yesterday's. As you got closer you saw guest, shedletsky, two time, and chance dealing with c00lkid. While taph and builderman set up their traps and turrets respectively. C00lkid still looked injured, and he was asking everyone why they were hurting him. Everyone tried blocking out his words. And just trying to fight.

When you ran up you saw guest punch c00lkid square in the face while two time saw it as a great opportunity to stab his two-pronged ritual dagger right in his spine. c00lkid yelped but he tried to 'stay strong'.

I mean, c00lkid really did think this was just a game of tag! He looked up to all the survivors as his older play mates and he always wanted to look #c00l! Infront of them! And earlier he heard guest say: "be strong, always be strong".

He was just a poor kid. And again shedletsky slashed him with seemingly no remorse. It honestly scared you.

You went to the front lines to talk. Y/n: "wait guys-". You got interrupted by guest letting out a war cry as he charged into c00lkid, knocki him into the range of the near by builderman turret and suddenly he froze up. After last round, the sound and feel of bullets now made c00lkid choke up a little and cry in stress. You went wide eyes and tried to chase him but then taph threw a tripmine at c00lkid.

Pink.

Every corner of yours and c00lkid's vision turned pink and he started to cry harder. In the distance, across the poison river, you saw n7 chasing Elliot, who eventually got his neck snapped and his very matter into corrupted,flaming code. But the huge explosion of pink caught his attention and he ran over.

Just then, chance decided to try and shoot c00lkid who just watched in fear and didn't move, however, you grabbed c00lkid by the shoulders and pulled him twords you. Chance gave you the most 'what the fuck.' face, but c00lkid looked at you like you saved his tiny life. I mean, you probably did, he lolked like he was hanging on by a thread.

n7 also noticed c00lkid hanging by a thread and let's just say he was not happy. He ran up and caught guest by the throat. n7: "YOU IGNORANT F-*squeaky noise* PEICE OF SH-*dolphin noise*!!!!" He threw guest onto the floor and bashed his head on with a glitchy cube he pulled from one of the walls. He kicked the dead body into the lake before moving to the next person, and then the next. Brutally killing them all, as well as the turret.

c00lkid was excitedly clinging to your arm so hard it hurt a bit. He was just so happy to find a friend who wouldn't roughhouse with him too hard and protect him. He giggled happily as he looked up at you as his imp tail wagged, even through his heavily injured state. c: "heheheh!! Can we be new best friends!?" (This face exactly -> :D). You found yourself in a very interesting situation here. You struggled to say anything at first. This thing, no, child, has killed your teammates hundreds of thousands of times, and yet... It wanted to befriend you? y/n: ".....uh-...yeah! Sure buddy".... why was that the answer you landed on? Oh well! Looks like you were going to die anyway, n7 has killed everyone and was walking up to you.

n7: "well,well, well... How does it feel being the last one alive who's been harming my son-" he got cut off by c00lkid who, with his injuries couldn't stand and you just helped him sit down in the grass. c:"dad! Say hi to my new best friend!!!" N7 went quiet. n7:"...huh?...friend..?" c:"yeah! Friend! They protected me from the bullies!!" n7 froze, the look of pure rage for you faltered a few times. Was he considering letting you live? n7: "hmmmm... I see, now you, y/n, why aren't you trying to kill him?" You really don't have an answer, but you didn't need to, c00lkid's body was getting exhausted of trying to "be strong" his eyes were closing and opening as if he were about to pass out and even though he tried to sound as happy as possible, he was still crying in stress and pain. And just as you lent over to help him.... You teleported

°-(setting: killers cabin)-°

You opened your eyes and instead of the survivors cabin your used to, you found yourself Infront of a bigger cabin. The spector brought you to the killers cabin? I guess it really wanted something interesting to watch. You looked to your side and saw c00lkid still barely holding on. But before you could do anything n7 picked him up and brought him inside calmly, though, you could tell he was still angry at the situation. For some reason he closed the door behind him like you weren't even there.

You paused for a few moments, about a solid 5 minutes, just..... Processing what just happened. Before you zooned out completely you knocked on the door and a few seconds later 1x answered and after just staring at you, debating just killing you. Eh, he left his swords in his room and they doesn't want to touch a "disgusting survivor" so she just settled on talking. 1x: "hello. What do you want.". That's the flattest way someone's ever asked you something,.it's probably intentional so they have to have less of a conversation. Y/n: "can I come in? Uh- im....c00lkids hurt and-" 1x: "just get your ass inside, I really don't care." She just walked away and left the door open for you to open it yourself, and when you got inside they were already gone. But you got to what you think is the living room and saw a very upset n7 taking care of a barely awake c00lkid. c: hey..! New best friend...!" He said quietly, n7 turned around and looked in surprise as you stood there. n7:"uh.. hi? Why- how are you here?" You still, didnt have an answer so you just pointed up as a gesture twords the spector. c00lkid coughed up blood which drew the attention of everyone in the room.

n7 was desperately trying to bandage up the pleathera of bullet holes, stab punctures, slashes, and bruises. Blood coating almost everything withim a 5 foot radius of him. n7: "hey,hey, kiddo... It's okay, your going to heal up just fine, all you need to do is take it easy....". He sighed as he watched the blood bleed through the bandages and he started to unwrap them and get fresh ones on. c: "...b-but what about- *sniffle* ... What about my friend...?" He sobbed, he's been hurting more and more ever since the wounds sank in and the pain kicked in, even more so because he was bleeding out. n7: "......" He paused, looking over at you, he was smart and already gathered you saved c00lkid in some way, so he just decided to comfort c00lkid. N7: "ah, yes! Your new friend! Well.. I'm sure they would love to play with you but you need to rest up, okie dokie?" He closed at him. C00lkid smiled and his tail wagged. Hower, n7 turned around to face you. N7: "thanks. But... You shouldn't be here, your lucky John doe or Jason isn't here, they would probably kill you...." He mindlessly talked as he pulled up a c00lgui panel and started typing on it. n7: "I'm going to teleport you back now, thank you, and goodbye." Before you could say anything you got teleported back to the survivor cabin, and c00lkid already missed you

Except for the main killers rooms there was also an upstairs area with three rooms, one with bluudud ,one with pretty princess, and the other with mafioso. The ladder of which heard all the commotion and came downstairs. n7 glanced over and stood up fully to look at him. n7: hey! Mafioso!...c00lkid isn't doing so well, and-" M: "oh so a deal,huh?" Mafioso loved deals. n7: "yes... A deal, I was going to ask, if you could cover for my son who he's.... Injured." Mafioso was listening with his arms crossed behind his back. M: "id be happy to! I mean.... If you got the studs to pay for my troubles for this.". n7 sighed and pulled out a c00lgui. Spawning a bag of studs and handind it to mafioso. Mafioso clicked his tongue and snatched it. M:"thankkk youu~!". He hummed as he walked away.

n7 turned around to his almost fully bandaged son, smiling, if exasperated. n7: "awwww, critter, lets get you in bed for today*. Even though it was pretty early, n7 decided it was best to send c00lkid to bed rest. c00lkid let himself get scooped up and carried to his room. Even before he could get there... He fell asleep.

🎁🎄❄️What the Lupin Gang would do for Christmas!❄️🎄🎁

Helloooooooo Lupin fans! You may or may not remember me as that one chick who made that Halloween headcanon post a few months back, as well as the Jigen’s bangs post. I’m back with a Christmas post!!!

Please note: Personally, I really only celebrate Christmas in a non-Jesus-y way. (Which is how I’m also writing this post, because let’s be honest, do you really think Lupin is going to confession and shit? Absolutely not.) It’s purely out of habit because I was raised Catholic, but I practice witchcraft now. My family doesn’t know that though. Because of this, I considered also making posts for other winter holidays, so I could include Lupin fans that don’t celebrate Christmas. But I didn’t want to accidentally mess it up, or write something inaccurate about a holiday that I don’t celebrate. It felt disingenuous to make a Hanukkah post because I’m not Jewish and it doesn’t seem like my place, and I didn’t want to do a Yule one either, because no two people celebrate it the same way. So, I strongly encourage others to add their respective winter festivities to this post if they want to! We’re all about inclusivity here.

Without further ado:

🎁LUPIN:

I don’t feel like it needs saying, but this man goes bonkers for Christmas.

He flip-flops his choice of red or green jacket by the year. But it always comes with an equally garish Christmas-themed tie, just to make explicitly clear that this is The Christmas Jacket for the year, as opposed to the standard red/green jacket.

The hideout(s) are always decorated to the GILLS inside. It’s an odd mix of older classy decorations he’s inherited from his family, and absolutely horrendously tacky ones he’s bought himself. 

Picture real branch garlands, wrapped tastefully around gilded candelabras that have been passed down through several generations. And then one of those singing, dancing stuffed animals from Walmart that plays “Jingle Bell Rock” when you squeeze its paw, right next to it.

Christmas-themed heists? You know it, baby. But he won’t steal anything on Christmas Eve or Christmas. It just isn’t in the spirit of the season, in his opinion. But he’ll leave a little something-something with his calling cards during the rest of December. A candy cane, a sprig of mistletoe, a bough of holly, etc.

Lupin despises eggnog. He loves any other Christmas drink, just not eggnog. He’s too grossed out by the idea of drinking eggs with alcohol- some things just shouldn’t be mixed.

Will not allow anyone to mention the truth about Santa Claus in his presence. Yeah, he knows, but that’s not the point. It just feels like bad luck to say it out loud. The harder Jigen tries to debate with him that Santa isn’t real, the harder he digs in his heels that “of course he is you absolute Scrooge, how dare you! If you don’t believe, you don’t receive.”

Christmas Gifts: The king of gag gifts, but he also gives surprisingly thoughtful presents too. He’s the kind of guy that would get a person something they mentioned once offhandedly that they really liked, and he’d go back and get it for them.

🎅JIGEN:

Lupin always wants to decorate the hideout(s) the second Halloween ends, but it never happens. With Jigen being the only American in the gang, he always puts a stop to it in order to preserve the quickly-disappearing border between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What can I say, dude loves his Thanksgiving excuse to eat like shit and do nothing for a day. Even if it is a fucked-up holiday, historically speaking.

But once the Thanksgiving meal is over, he gives Lupin the okay to go crazy. He’s pretty stoked about Christmas too, but too full of turkey to contribute, so he just watches Lupin hang up Christmas lights everywhere while he lays on the couch and digests.

Jigen likes Christmas a lot, but like, in a normal person kind of way. Nowhere near Lupin’s insane level. He’s surprisingly open about his enthusiasm too. The average person would think he doesn’t really care about Christmas much (or anything else really), but to the gang, Christmastime is the most openly excited they’ve ever seen him.

One year’s Christmas-themed heist involved Jigen dressing up as a mall Santa as a part of the plan. The gang powdered his beard, gave him a pillow for his stomach, and sent him on his way. Everything went surprisingly smoothly, and he actually did pretty well with the kids. At first they were a little intimidated, and Jigen was kind of nervous- but he gave them all candy canes and they changed their minds pretty quickly.

Jigen enjoyed it a lot, actually... to the point that he may have potentially started volunteering to be the local mall Santa. Every year during December, he leaves for a day or two on “business.” Nobody in the gang can prove it though, and trust me, they’ve tried.

☃️GOEMON:

Goemon wasn’t originally a huge fan of Christmas. Shocking, I know.

He now enjoys some aspects of it, and tolerates others. He likes the idea of giving heartfelt gifts and spending time with loved ones as a tradition, but dislikes the cheesy commercial aspect of Christmas.

He already enjoys the snow and walking through the forest, so the gang usually commissions him to pick a tree for them and cut it down with Zantetsuken. (If they’re somewhere where that’s an option.)

Unbeknownst to the rest of the gang, he will always replant the tree he cut down, and he will wrap something cozy around the bottom of the sapling to keep it safe. Yes, this was directly inspired by A Charlie Brown Christmas. No, he will not admit to this.

Favorite Christmas Songs: The instrumentals, and a few he’d rather die than admit to liking.

Christmas Gifts: Something small and sentimental he saw while walking by a store that reminded him of the person he’s giving it to. Nothing extravagant, but thoughtful nonetheless.

⛸FUJIKO:

Fujiko decorates the tree. Period. Lupin cannot be trusted to do this on his own. Goemon picks the tree, Lupin and Jigen put it in the stand, and from there, it’s all Fujiko. The ornaments, lights, and tree skirt are all perfectly color/theme coordinated, and arranged like a pristine store display. 

She also has a few ornaments that she bought for each specific member of the gang. Lupin’s is a monkey (he was not pleased, but he’s whipped for her, so he let her keep it). Jigen’s is a carved wooden pistol. Goemon’s is porcelain, with hand-painted sakura blossoms on it. She bought one for Zenigata too as a joke one year- a tiny bowl of ramen noodles.

Her ornament? The star on top of the tree, because she’s the star of the show, baby. It’s actually a snowflake, made of the finest crystal she could steal.

Christmas Gifts: Something expensive/extravagant that will make the person think of her every time they use it.

🎄ZENIGATA:

Zenigata is the second biggest Christmas enthusiast, just behind Lupin.

He doesn’t get to settle down and decorate anything really, since he’s always running after the gang, but he does lots of other little things to celebrate instead. Like getting hot chocolate instead of coffee, tuning the squad car radio to the Christmas station, getting an air freshener that smells like gingerbread, and wearing a festive scarf and gloves with his trench coat to keep out the cold.

In years past, Zenigata still had to work on Christmas Eve/Christmas, even if Lupin wasn’t out stealing anything. Lupin found out and thought that was a little harsh of ICPO, so he came up with a plan. 

Each year he sends a calling card to the station with the conditions that only Zenigata can come to investigate. Zenigata does some research, shows up to the location on Christmas Eve, and every year, nothing’s there except for a neatly wrapped present from Lupin. 

Zenigata keeps the present as “evidence,” goes back to the station, and they give him Christmas off to go investigate on his own, in case Lupin tries anything else. Lupin never does, but the station doesn’t know that. Bada bing, bada boom, Lupin just got Zenigata a vacation.

Zenigata never catches on, bless his heart.

Favorite Christmas Movies: He doesn’t really have a lot of time to sit down a watch a movie, with how hard he works. But he remembers a few from when he was younger, and he really likes those. His favorite is Frosty the Snowman.

Christmas Gifts: Something inexpensive because ICPO vastly underpays this poor man, and he’s always embarrassed because of that, but it’s always something super sweet and heartfelt.
