#all the languages so far are so different but similar enough for me to translate between them#fascinated by‚ in no particular order:#the different ways they denote plurality (hoped the scientists would have something smaller and more discreet than their glyph)#the devotees' language (it's regular enough that I can guess what the warrior place would be despite never having seen the symbol)#also the markers the bards' language has to show falseness and questions (probably inspired by a real language)#whatever's going on with the warriors (what are they shipping??)#also‚ if the scientists have made such advances with technology‚ why didn't any of them try to translate the languages??#someone must have at one point because there's the tapestry where someone wrote a translation#and the shield with the warrior and devotee languages#but why would they let that knowledge go to waste? what purpose does that serve?
