I want to write Amber outside of any angry black girl stereotypes and write her more in depth because she’s much more than a reactionary emotion.
Amber is smart and she's dealing with a lot. Ok work from there, Amber is at a great point in life as a young black woman where “ok everything ive done has cultivated to this much. Playtime is over time to get serious. Wait did even get to play during play time? Focus! They all look like they know something you don’t so you need to know more. You need to know everything! Before it happens! So it doesn’t happen again! Did I eat today?”
I want to see Amber burying herself in her studies and taking the opportunities allowed to her in that big ass white school.
I want to see her parallel Mark (whose she's still with in my au i do not care) where he’s getting beaten down by an enemy and Amber is getting covered in assignments and they both get back up because that's real hot girl shit

Discussions about Max and Chloe's breakup, along with sentiments like "this is disrespectful to fans" and "my Pricefield can't be like this," are bound to persist. It's clear that many fans are frustrated, and while I understand and share the love for Chloe, the overwhelming focus on her is excessive. I am concerned that it will overshadow the actual discussions about Double Exposure itself (the game's characters, their relationships, possible discussions about the development of events). From the outside (to those who could potentially become a part of the fandom), it could seem that in Life Is Strange, only sapphic relationships matter. As sad as it may be, this is further confirmed by the absence of any accompanying materials (books, comics) for LIS2, while True Colors has two (mutually exclusive!!!) sequels that focus solely on the female love interest—one in the form of a book, the other in the form of a comic.
Besides that, Life Is Strange as a franchise has never been limited to a single timeline. The comic Forget-Me-Not took as its basis the timeline with Rachel alive and living together with Chloe. The book Steph's Story directly stated that it's based on the events of bae over bay ending. There is even a whole six-volume comic series concluding its story with Max and Chloe's happily ever after and the restoration of Arcadia Bay, while in Life Is Strange 2, the town destroyed by the tornado remains a mere ghost town.
I don't see that supporters of the sapphic love line have a lack of content—there's space for Pricefield, Amberprice and Chenrich, and I don't see a problem with Deck Nine taking a completely different direction in the development of the characters' relationships.
We just have to wait for this discourse to quiet down, and for discussions about the game itself to become much more prominent. I want to see Life Is Strange as it was 9 years ago - full of discussions, theories, whodunnit guesses, symbolism explanations, and longreads connecting the dots. I've been a fan since the release of the first episode of the first season, and I'm grateful that the franchise is still alive and that new content is still being released.

A PRINCESS WHO EVERYONE ADORES, AND THE PRINCE WHO LIVES IN THE SHADOWS
Tumblr media
" Having fun? My dear sister?"
" . NO. . . . . ."
Sorry guys I have been focusing on FPE now, so I'm slowly leaving the Jsab fandom, I barely draw them now, but I'll try to do the lore and all, Amber barely does her duty as the princess, she defends because her Brother, Blixer because he has been also helping keep her people safe from bad shapes, despite the fact that they hate each other deep down they care. . . Also Amber belongs to @amber-lapizui-rp

1. Blaze, the dog & Buck.
I was really moved by his scenes, I have a soft spot for lost animals. The way they filmed the scene, with a more melancholic feel and the soundtrack also reminded me of scenes with Buck, when he looks at the person with that lost look.
Even before watching the episode I got a spoiler that Buck would stay with Eddie's house and would mention something about pets, so when Blaze appeared I immediately thought what if?. And hey, it happened. So no more.
The most significant thing is how he was used. A cute dog? Sure. But a symbol of abandonment. A lost animal, who was reunited with his family after going through the fear of the fire.
And about that. I have a flashback. Buck ran after a dog that ran away. In a fire. Part of the roof fell, but didn't catch him. There was an explosion. And I saw the whole connection with that fire scene after he found out about Daniel.
And I need to save this life.
And I've discovered that I'm just spare parts. Am I a failure?
And I need to save this life.
And my best friend is abandoning me. Do they all do that?
You give me abandonment issues and I give you Buck as the definition.
But not just about him. I wonder about Blaze. He got lost from his family, suffered on the streets with, probably, fear and hunger, was rescued and then the fire. Then rescued again, and adopted by this guy who saved his life. And then his family shows up. And this dog has a busier life than mine.
2. The whole John|Bullock & Maddie & Amber Braeburn thing.
During all this I was creating theories. John kidnapping her because he thinks she understands him. Then later, when he talks about Jee, I really started to wonder if he would kidnap Jee. The age range was not constant, from younger to older, and revenge is an irrational thing. But no.
I thought, especially when the scene with Maddie and Jee (super cute) came up.
— Wherever you go, I promise to protect you.
— I love you, Mommy.
— I love you.
I kind of expected it, but I also didn't expect the detective to be the one who kidnapped her. Since the preview for this episode implied that the kidnapper had the physique of a woman. It makes sense how the cops were 'being watched'. And it makes sense that she would accuse someone with a history and unstable to hide herself. But then.
— I didn't mean to do this, I swear. But you made me do it. You made me do it. Didn't you? You made me do it. You're going to be so mad at me.
And that, that complicates things. Especially with what was released for the next episode. It kind of hints that Amber intended to continue with the kidnappings, intended to continue using John's image as a kind of protection for herself. Then Maddie made him kill himself, and fucked with the number one suspect and the best cover. I could wonder if they were partners, but it doesn't fit.
— Good girl. Good girl.
It left me a little strange. Because Amber's actions are so fucking contradictory, it's not a right profile. I confess that I thought John might have DID at some point, but her? I don't know. She's inconsistent. Because she seems to act like an undercover agent would (that line about not wanting to do it, and Maddie getting mad at her) and considering that it's a case that's been going on for years. But also, with my vast knowledge of CM, it doesn't fit with her arrogant and somewhat malicious manner in the preview for episode 10. And also with her being so open in looking for suspects, not covering up her identity.
In short, it's going to be dangerous. Because she knows how to get around the law, and she seems unstable. And Maddie is smart and knows how to subtly manipulate someone, but Amber is a detective, so she knows the tricks.
Maddie knows how to run. And my god, this whole plot reminds me so much of Doug. The phrases, the expressions. The kidnapping. Her thinking it was Chim, when it wasn't.
In points:
— Everyone wants to be saved.
Referring to postpartum depression and Jee. But I thought about this woman alone with her abusive ex-husband, fighting for her life. And she ran. And the fear for Jee. And she ran. And John's suicide plus the kidnapping and Maddie's history of depression worries me, and it's the last season. So it can't go too badly.
Maddie Han. Finally happy, finally free, finally loved and safe. Finally, not Maddie Kendall. Being kidnapped, again, in a place where she should feel safe. In her home. That she built with her husband who loved her, where it should be safe for her and her daughter.
— Kill the monster, Richard.
Like you did?
With Doug.
Like you tried to do with yourself?
In that sea.
It's so fun and interesting to look for, create or find symbolism, and ABC is making it so easy for a fanfiction fan.
3. Christopher Diaz.
This one is actually quite short.
Why doesn't anyone consider Chris's reaction?
Christopher Diaz.
This is actually pretty short.
Why is no one considering Chris's reaction?
When I say no one, I mean that so far I haven't seen anyone talking about this.
It's great that Eddie is going after him. It's great that he wanted to fix his mistake. But he's going to another state after his son without even telling him or talking to him about it.
Chris could just refuse to see him, ignore him, or don't wanting him there, and Eddie can't just force Chris to see him or talk to him. And that's actually making me more anxious than Eddie actually leaving. Especially considering Eddie's parents, who will definitely make things worse instead of helping.
They need to talk and Eddie is right to take the lead instead of dragging this out until the connection is broken, but it's not that simple. Apologies, even if they're sincere, won't magically fix the mess he made.
And I won't even get into my thoughts on this (they fucked up Eddie's character and it seems like they don't even know how to fix it).
The point is, he has no idea how Chris is going to react. If he wants to go back to LA (I think he does) and all that stuff. And the point is, this is going to fuck Eddie up.
And I'm not going to go into that too much because this is about Chris.
Let's skip before LA. He grew up almost without a father, asking Santa for him. And so he got it. He moved to California and built a new life. With his father in it. And he asked Santa for his mother. And so he got it. Then his mother dies and his father is broken. And his father has relationships with other women and he's afraid of their abandonment, but eventually he accepts them. And eventually they leave too. And he would be happy like that, him and his father and his Buck. And his father almost dies but he always comes back, in a way that his mother doesn't. And his father gets a new girlfriend and cheats on her. And then he walks in the door with this girlfriend and there, in his house, is his mother. But no, it's not his mother. And everything hurts and it's all confusing and he goes back to Texas. And now he has no mother or father.
And it's all complicated.
And he's just a kid.
