Not exactly an "afternoon delight", Skyrockets: Festival of Fire is an extremely creative game. Honestly, I really do admire the mind that can think this up as a game. But is it fun?

I think that there are a LOT of people who like difficult, real-time cooperative games that will absolutely love this one. But I'm not one of them. The pressure! The stress!

Excellent game but the time crunch makes this game a pressure cooker for me.

I didnt know the compass existed first time we played, it must have been mixed in the gold or something I just overlook it. So I pulled out an old pirate hat from a previous Halloween to designate who's turn it was to roll. Now if you roll you wear the pirate hat. 🇩🇪🇺🇸 So lange Canvas noch nicht auf Deutsch erschienen ist, was bei @asmodee_germany bald sein wird, können wir uns mit der englischen Ausgabe vergnügen. Aber so richtig englische Kenntnisse braucht ihr nicht, da das Spiel eh sprachneutral ist. Und es ist sehr einfach zu lernen, und herausfordernd im Spiel. Wir sammeln durchsichtige Spielkarten, die wir über einander legen, um ein Bild zu malen. Ziele geben uns vor, wie wir Abzeichen gewinnen können. Wer Canvas spielt, hat die Qual der Wahl, denn oft müssen wir entscheiden, welche Ebene vorne, in der Mitte oder ganz hinten liegt. Ein sehr schönes Spiel, gut geeignet für zwischendurch, und es macht viel mehr Spaß schöne Bilder zu gestalten, als Punkte zu generieren. But you don't really need English knowledge as the game is language neutral anyway. And it's very easy to learn, and challenging to play. We collect transparent playing cards, which we lay over each other to draw a picture. Goals tell us how to win badges. Those who play Canvas are spoiled for choice, as we often have to decide which layer is in front, in the middle, or at the very back. A very nice game, well suited for in between, and it is much more fun to create beautiful pictures than to generate points.
