Ohhhhh fuck. I don’t think I picked up on it on my first playthrough of rebirth, but Seph definitely intentionally teed up that Tifa is an imposter, that Jenova can imitate the people you love just as well as those you loathe, and then told cloud ‘don’t let her fool you’.

Who is she, Cloud?
