It's so interesting how even body positive people will just decide any fat person doing physical activity must be doing it to lose weight. Almost like fat people aren't real people allowed hobbies until they complete this impossible quest of attaining thinness. Maybe that fat person just likes dancing, maybe that fat person is at the gym to build muscle, maybe that fat person just fucking likes the trampoline

#fatphobia #I feel really unwelcome in physical hobbies as a fat person and as a result I always end up quitting #either because I do get made fun of or I'm afraid of being made fun of #but I'll always value not being hungry and cold over being slightly less fat #and I wish I could enjoy physical activity without having to fear both fatphobes making fun of me #and the 'body positive' telling them they shouldn't because 'at least I'm trying to lose weight'#I am not and I find the assumption hurtful and rude #god forbid a guy wants to improve his heart health but isn't trying to lose weight
