I did some doodles of Vasco and Machete, they aren't the best but I love them and your artstyle so much so I wanted to try and show my appreciation for you. I love the contrast with how pointy Machete is, while Vasco is more smooth and round, its a lovely way to show who the characters are just by a glance. I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

This is my gift to myself :) I drew my favorite guys ever.

For a while I've been itching to draw the wedding outfits from this post again. I made them up on the fly as I was drawing, but I actually really like how they ended up turning out. They're super cute!! (though, yet again, you can't see almost any part of Dedede's outfit... 💔)

But then I couldn't get it out of my head to make a companion piece for it, with their mirror versions. And so. I did. What they have going on is a little bit messy, though...

#kirby #kirby series #meta knight #king dedede #metadede #dark meta knight #shadow dedede #mirror metadede #i do like mirror mtdd. like a lot. but poor planning ahead with hcs and ocs caused them to end up. kind of doomed in my thing lol #maybe i'll go in depth about it one day. as much as i can anyway. i haven't fully figured it out myself #my art #couple details:#mk's tooth gaps are probably one of my favorite parts of his drawing. they're just so cute i'm so glad i knocked his teeth out #while mtdd is on Non Descript Happy Place mirror mtdd is specifically in the dimension mirror level from katam and ktd #just slightly. sparklier and shinier. because that's just how i do things. and without the buildings #i did try to add them but it made everything busier than it already was #mirror mtdd's faces are obscured on purpose but if you look closely you can catch a peek of dmk's expression through his veil #which! it's meant to be kind of like a widow's veil.. symbolism and what not #i couldn't think of what the opposite of a star was so i did hearts (for the plating. cheeks. and pauldrons)#i fucked up the rings.. because i got my lefts and rights confused..#but i kept it Anyway because it looked cool. i'm sorry though it's so annoying once you notice #i still have the flats and a better look at ddd's outfit (and a Little of sddd's face)#so maybe i'll post that later #i think that's about it #i'm 20 today :) sigh. the passage of time #god the way this has been crunched sickens me. don't look closer actually

i wasn't planning on giving them similar sailor-style uniforms but actually i like it now that i look at it. polar opposite girlfriends

aoi is the ultimate sukeban (female gangster). she started up to defend her younger brother from some bullies and ended up leading multiple gangs through sheer charisma

she prefers intimidation over violence, hence the kendo sword that she never got proper training on how to use (she mostly carries it around for dramatic effect)

is a little devious. will not hesitate to frame, injure, or throw someone under a bus if she thinks they've wronged her or someone she cares about

sakura is the ultimate moral compass, in this au her longtime friend kenshiro entrusted her with 'strongest human alive' but also with a message to uphold peace with that strength

she maintains a calm demeanor to seem more approachable to people. as a result, a lot of people trust her

is very careful of how she uses her strength. avoids fights whenever possible

#so the last two days have been mid. but i still did things and didnt feel like death for the first time in a year.#I'm no longer so anxious i can't look at apartments in the city where I'm starting my phd.#i got a short idea for prose today. i haven't had that in at least 6 months.#i have actually *wanted* to listen to music again.#i want to sing and draw and crochet.#i want to do things again.#i haven't existed without a thin film of misery in.... at least a year. but probably longer than that. much longer.#I've had one nightmare in the last six weeks. i used to have at least one a night.#and had been living that way for almost 10 years.#guys there mught be hope for me yet.#I'm still tired. very tired. but also. I've cleaned my home more this week than i have in months.#and even when i don't do a task or don't do a whole task. it doesn't feel like failure and like I'll never get it done.#idk. idk. it's imperfect. i am still struggling to answer emails and text notifications. i probably always will.#i am still a little anxious off and on throughout the day. but good god. it feels like liberation.#do you know how good it feels. after years and years of struggling to be alive. to one day get out of bed and spontaneously start cleaning.#without endless planning and days of hyping up to it or guilting yourself into it?#i noticed halfway through the day that i was just.... doing things i needed to do.#it feels so good.#i really didn't want to start meds bc i thought i had a handle on it.#turns out mild gad and some depressive symptoms it was not. it was full-on gad with major depression!#i hadn't realized how miserable I'd been. and for how long.#so for all that i was recalcigrant to try. i'm very glad i did it.#my god. i can maybe be happy. who would've guessed.

Recent images I suppose ~

#First one is THE LONG series of GEESE that fly by!!! my aforementioned friends... Or I think I referenced them in tags of some post #days ago. and how I love watching them. See how many there are? And multiple of these will go by. It's like hundreds of them.#Then just the sky because I love the sky. My hair looking ridiculous as it always does when I brush it out of the four big braids I always #keep it in to keep it out of the way lol. I just find it silly how small it can be all braided up and then as soon as it is Released and #combed then it poofs into some sort of swamp dwelling wizard style.#Then... a daily word count... have been so busy the past week that I sadly haven't written much but I'm WORKING on it. Still on the blasted #'odd jobs' tasks sections which were SUPPOSED to be very quick and short. but.. alas.. Though I am on basically the last one. You go work #for one of the enchanting specialists in the city (very important in society since a majority of people cannot do that type of magic) and #basically he just works so much he has no time for a social life so he hires random people to sit with him in the afternoons doing menial #tasks. You show up thinking you'll help with some Important Job or something but hes just like 'no... peel this apple for me.. :)' lol #Edit note: arrgh just had to fish a slippery avocado pit out of a narrow garbage disposal drain with a chopstick. felt like some #sort of taskmaster challenge or something.. gods... I know some people just reach into them. I guess maybe #my hand would fit?? but... erm... scary. what about Sharp Things in there or something.. also Sludge of some sort perhaps.#ANWYAY.. interruption... I got up to go to the kitchen in the middle of typing my tags... lol..#Next image is SLEEPING boye.. And then PIGEONS!!!!!!!!!! my beloveds...#Oh then the giant evil hole in my bathroom ceiling which is STILL not fixed and the repair people still have to come back again.. BUT they #did have this terrible industrial dehumidifier thing they put in the bathroom and just left here for like 5 days and it was like a noisy #hairdryer going at all times and raised the heat in the bathroom from 65F to 76F in like two hours so.. I'm glad at least at their #last arrival they've finally taken it away.... the Noise Beast... silence in my house at last...#though I am still plagued by Mysterious Hole.. the plastic wrap rustles sometimes when I'm in there.... go away...#Ah. Then a delightful little lemon poppyseed muffin someone didn't want and then gave to me. Which was interesting since I haven't #had one in soooo long even though its like a very Classic Flavor.. I do quite like them though now that I've had one again. :0c #Lastly.. mushrooms. I think it's the mushroom season here. Everywhere you go outside there's some new manner of fungus #having popped up from nowhere. I like the variety of all their little shapes. These in particular have an interesting wispy curled layers #sort of look to them. Almost like a shaggy hairstyle that's curled up at the ends or something. They seem neat to draw perhaps.#Okay.. that is all.. I still have literally like 2 costumes and 12 outfits and I think 1 sculpture? to post.. but I am so busy this is #what I can manage for now I suppose lol... quick pictures that don't really take any sorting or cropping or editing lol #photo diary
