We believe that feeling sexual attraction to a woman is normal and nothing to be ashamed about, but we also believe in the idea that there's absolutely appropriate times and places to express that.
So here we are watching some rando play the New War for the first time. Unsurprisingly, this rando happened to be an "domestic abuse allegory completely flew over his head, no comments on the on-screen torture Space Mom was facing" type of streamer. And the b*llas veil scene came up, and all he did was marvel at the attractiveness of Margulis.
And it just made us remember, when we first played this quest, how uncomfortable and distressing that single perspective shot of Margulis kneeling on the floor was. I remember us seeing that shot for the first time, and saying "this is gross, I feel like I'm seeing something i shouldn't. Stop making me look at this" while we were pushing the control stick away only for the camera to keep glued to her.
It took us a Significantly Long time to get over that scene. We couldn't look at screenshots of that scene, or even the title "Margulis" under the Lotus transmissions without feeling sick. The entire "Natah/Lotus was forced into becoming Margulis" story, and the horror of b*llas kidnapping this poor woman to force her into becoming his lover has effectively haunted us.
Margulis, for a significant time to us, was a symbol of a depraved man's fantasy. And when that was the only thing we saw her as, of course every mention of her would bring disgust to our body. Of course it brought up judgment for those who picked the same woman her abuser wanted to own.
But that's not a sustainable way to engage with this character. Ever since Margulis was introduced in TSD, her actions for the Tenno and compassion were beacons of her character, and they were integral to the Tenno journey. She is loved, flawed, and very human, like all of us are. She stood alone without ballas' interference, and constantly assigning his name to hers even after her victory ends up leaving a bitter taste in our mouth.
Just as a tasteless streamer chooses Margulis for her tits with no consideration for the other two identities, regarding Margulis as a mere symbol of another's depravity is ultimately doing the same misogynistic thing: flattening the complexities of a woman to serve your ideals.
Of course, I still think the former is a more pressing issue especially in this heteronormative patriarchal society. But I don't know. Some way, some how, maybe turning the dial this far in the opposite direction can put you back in the same circle you're trying to absolve yourself from.
#leoframe#margulis#i hope this makes sense and it doesn't sound like im stirring shit#just feeling introspective tonight#the new war

okay yeah i’ll talk about it
ballas is such a massive fucking man baby. like yea okay he’s a conniving little bitch and he’s got some tricks and he can pull some strings but at the end of the day his goals are almost entirely motivated by “well if i can’t get what i want then no one can”. if you don’t play blocks with this man in exactly the way he wants to play blocks, he’s going to kill your mom
i guess og orokin beliefs play into that a lot. for a man who believes his goals surpassed the orokin in some way / thought he was just In General smarter than the orokin, he sure did literally make all the same mistakes as the orokin? he had this belief that became his driving force that “oh of course everyone wants to live in order to be of service to me? why else would they be there” and he threw a fit when people didn’t want to fall into line and didn’t want to be told what to think and believe in. like the orokin really did base so much of their culture on taking away autonomy from the people they saw as beneath them that it’s no wonder ballas is Like That
the exact type of man to be completely unable to see someone as worth living unless they are doing something specifically for him. his idealized version of lotus is someone who completely gives up her autonomy in order for him to have his Perfect Relationship. he cannot imagine a different dynamic because reality was that… his ass got dumped!!! like. lotus wound up picking the kids over him and it was the fact that she did that + the kids would never respect him in any capacity / couldn’t have their autonomy taken away in the same way as the Common Man… ohhhhh he was so pissed about that.
“what do you mean this 12 year old won’t bow down to me and do everything i say? what do you mean my old girlfriend won’t throw herself into my arms the moment she sees me? i’m going to eat the sun about it” lookin ass
#warframe posting#woodchipper time for him#anyways the orokin are nightmarish#kind of reminds me a little of uhhhhh#all tomorrows? a little?#the orokin didn’t just fight people they took away their ability to fight and then genetically modified the fighters so they could never#fight again

GTA San Andreas Poll!
Alright folks, i've been replaying my favorite GTA game, San Andreas, for the 10nth time. And for the 10nth time, i find the tension between CJ and Sweet to be fascinating and complex one. So, I wanna know you guys opinions.
BEFORE VOTING: check out my analysis of CJ under the cut before voting.
Now, let's take a good look at CJ's Pros and Cons.
Pros
*With one call from Sweet, he left his life in Liberty City (and his mob boss) to come back to SA.
*Once he saw his family and how fucked up the hood was, he decided to stay, even when everybody was giving him shit and asking him to leave.
*He did everything, and i mean EVERYTHING he could to help his family/homies.
*He befriended Cesar, which ultimately lead to Kendl being safe and put CJ on the path to hunt down Smoke and Tenpenny.
*He seemed to have learnt his lesson after what happened to Brian, and now, he wants to do everything he can to ensure his family is safe.
*He took out a drug cartel almost by himself.
*He worked for Torino, one of the (funniest) scariest character in the franchise, doing impossible and near suicidal missions, just to keep Sweet safe in jail. Eventually, CJ's work is the reason why Sweet is freed.
*Unlike Sweet, who listen to nobody, CJ is open to feedback. He welcomes advice from everyone (Cesar, Woozie, Kendl, The Truth...), and that grants him the upper hand and a few good allies.
*Except for a few moments, CJ treats his friends and family with respect. And when he'd wronged them, he apologizes.
*Overall, he seems to be unprejudiced, except against agents of the law (which is, like, understandable...). He befriends black people, latinos, chinese, white folks, and pretty much everyone that treats him right, gets treated right.
*He's a shareholder in a CASINO. And this is after ROBBING a rival casino, which is after he TAKES OUT THE THREE MAFIA FAMILIES that owned that Casino. Oh, and the robbery? Its an optional mission, that CJ planned 90%, and that he executed full James Bond style.
*He's your go-to man. For like... ANYTHING. You need something done? CJ will do it, even if it seems impossible. Granted, yes, this comes with being a GTA protagonist, but even by those standards, the shit he'd managed to pull off is mind-blowing.
*Look, this is a GTA game. CJ is a gangbanger. Of course he's gonna be violent. BUT, compared to other protagonists (Tommy Vercetti), he uses his wit, gadgets and stealth to solve problems more often than with just straight up murdering everyone on sight.
*Take a look at the wider picture: in his five years absence, the hood had got from bad to worse. The families are beefing, the Ballas and the cops are working to turn everyone into baseheads, and there's only three GS' OG still active: Sweet, Ryder and Big Smoke (those two being moles). In a few weeks, he turned GS into a force work reckoning. In fact, the only reason they failed into culling the Ballas was because Smoke and Ryder snitched on them. And after CJ was thrown into the Badlands, does he give up? NO. He works with a psycopath woman and earns money by all means necessary to get a strong foothold in San Fierro. Does he stop there? NO. He buys property, earns money, becomes chummy with the Triads and takes out a drug cartel. Does he stops there? NO! He allies himself with a MIB to work towards Sweet freedom. Does he stops there? NO!! He helps to rise up a Casino and runs out THREE mafia gangs out of the city. DOES HE STOPS THERE? NO!!!!! HE recovers Madd Dogg crib to use as base of operation to wait for Sweet. And when Sweet gets out of jail and calls CJ out and demands he helps with the hood, what does CJ do? Exactly that, taking down Smoke's yay operation and Officer Tenpenny, Pulasky and Hernandez. All in the span of a few months. Say whatever you want about CJ, but he is NO BUSTER.
*He reassures Sweet that "whatever's mine is yours". And he means it. In the previous game, everything Tommy did was for himself. Everything CJ did was for the Johnson Empire. For his family.
*HE FLEW WITH A JETPACK! Come on. This alone should put you on his side.
Cons
*We don't know the details, but we know that he let his little brother Brian die. In itself, that sucks. But the twist of the knife is that after Brian died, CJ ran away to the other end of the country, and from what we gather, he didn't write, call or visited his family in FIVE YEARS. AND THE WORSE PART is that CJ's mom apparently got sick through that time and Kendl was still going to school, so Sweet had to man up... And CJ was not there to help him.
*Let's be honest: CJ doesn't have much of a care for the hood. He cares about his family, yes, and he wants to be accepted, but everything he does for Grove Street is just so his homies and Sweet would take him back.
*In his own words, he "tries not to pay much attention". And it shows. Literally, CJ is your go-to guy, which is good but also bad. Damn, he made Madd Dogg life a living Hell by stealing his rhyme book and, oh yeah, KILLING HIS MANAGER! A man that did nothing wrong except saying that Jeff-OG LOC rapping was "whack" (which is true). CJ saves MD life later on and becomes his manager... but he never comes clean about what he did to MD. Thats pretty cold.
*He complains. A LOT. Its mentioned several times by several characters: whenever things are slightly off, CJ whines about it. Special mention goes to when Cataline gaves him the garage in Doherty as pink slip. He throws a tantrum to the ages just because the place is a bit of a fixer-upper.
*Related to the above, Kendl calls him out about how CJ always "wanted something out of nothing", meaning CJ wanted to be respected but didn't want to put much effort into it.
*Honestly? He's a bit of a slacker. Until he reaches Las Venturas, he'd shown little leadership material. And the few good calls he had (buying ZERO's shop, buying the car dealership), were someone else's idea.
*Its fair to say that, even after becoming rich in Las Venturas, he still remains humble, and still wants to work to get Sweet out of jail. Its also fair to say that he's so dazzled by the success they had that he couldn't care less about the hood. Damn, the man saw his childhood home being used as a base spot and he didn't give a damn. That's cold.
*Through all the final act, he struggles with his new found responsibilities with his business against the responsibilities with his brother and his hood.
*To be honest, its debatable if he took out Smoke and Tenpenny out of desire to help the hood or because it was personal for him.
*He goes as far as accusing the hood (and by extension GS and Sweet) as "holding him up". Kind of a high horse you have there...
*It's not outright said, but Its obvious the reason Tenpenny was declared innocent was because of everything CJ did for him. Taking down witnesses? Killing reporters? Destroying evidence? All of that helped Tenpenny. CJ was being held by the balls, yes. But his actions led to Tenpenny being declared innocent, which in turn lead to the LS riots, which no doubt caused lot of material and human lives...
I was gonna write a list of Sweet pros and cons but it would be redundant.
So there you have it! Fell free to vote and comment!

Alright, since Narmer's on my mind as of late, a few questions for those who prominently talk about their warframe ocs on their blogs:
What is your oc's opinion on Narmer? (Of course its probably gonna be negative, but like are they horrified by it or do they consider it business as usual like with the other factions?)
Where were they during its reign? If we throw out the idea of a 'main character Tenno', what was your oc doing during this time? Were they one of the first to be veiled or did they potentially fight back against the regime?
And, of course, since it can't be a a Narmer discussion without mentioning the veils:
Did your oc ever wear a veil? If so, was it forced on them by someone or something else, or was it their choice? Do they have any other ocs they care about that either were or still are veiled? How did their memories twist to conform to Ballas' will?
Also, feel free to use your response as a way to promote said ocs, since me and I'm sure plenty of others would love to hear more about them than just their relationship to Narmer.

Supernatural X Twilight~ pt. 4
| 1 2 3 Four 5 6 |
Outside of training for battle with Jasper and sometimes the major, I also stopped going to school. Unless Jasper dragged me out of the motel or Esme kicked me out of her house, then I went to school. Where the Cullens had no reason to talk to me and I had no reason to talk to them.
Sometimes Jasper would brush against me in the hall or stare at me during lunch. Little things to be affectionate.
Balla found out about the Cullens little secret and then her and Edward went public. She was surprised to see me the first time she went to the Cullen home.
// I was laying over the couch while I played Mario cart against Emmet. He had challenged me to an all out war over the game and I decided I would put him in his place. If that involves cheats then so be it.
"Oh come on!" Emmet whined as he was once again taken out by a turtle shell.
Even when Jasper moved to sit beside my upside down form I didn't tear my eyes away from the game until I passed the finish line. "Need something."
"Bella's coming over." Jasper said like it solved everything.
"Awww big scawy soldier don't wanna eat the humie." I tease. I turn until I'm sitting upright and then jaspers hand goes around my back to my waist. His other hand lifts my legs to lay over his. "If worse comes to worse I'll restrain you and major." I say patting his hand on my knee.
"You know about major?!" Emmet asks in surprise as he falls off the couch.
I glare at Jasper from the corner of my eye and snort. "Fucker is clingy and needy as all hell. Like a fucking cat." I joke. If Jasper could blush he would be as he hides his face in my hair. I pat his shoulder as I smile at his embarrassment. // flashback end.
~~
Then there was a baseball game. Unlike Bella, I could play and keep up with the Cullens.
I planted my feet into the ground as I held the bat securely in my grip. Jasper was pitching and I watched as he raised his arm to throw and I flexed my fingers before hitting the ball. It left the bat with a sharp crack and began to smoke as it caught fire mid air.
"Hot potato!" Emmet yelled as he avoided the ball. It zoomed into the surrounding forest before hitting a tree making another crackle sound.
Alice gasps and informs everyone that the nomads in the area heard us and are coming.
Edward rushed to Bella's side and tries to lead her to the car. "They're traveling so quickly" Alice continues.
"You said they left the county" Rosalie says bluntly.
I sigh and lean against the bat as I wait.
"They did, but then they heard us and changed their minds." Alice defends herself.
The family goes silent with tension as the three nomads approach from the woods. Two blondes and an African male. All with striking red eyes that alerts me to their diet. I tip my head in amusement and excitement.
The African male holds up the scorched ball by two fingers. "I believe this belongs to you." He then tosses the ball with blinding speed toward doctor c. Who catches it easily. "Could you use three more players?"
"Of course." Carlisle says cordially.
"I'm Laurent and this is Victoria and James." The male introduces himself and the blondes.
I lick my lips at the information. Grace burning under my skin in excitement. "I'm on their team." I say kicking the bat under my arm and twirling it in my hand before it rests on my shoulder. Either the Cullens are too shocked or they hide it well as no one stops my movement. "Would you like to bat first?" I ask while I walk toward them.
"Thank you, and if I may ask who hit the last ball?" Laurent asks in curiosity. He's not very good at hiding it.
I'm giddy as I skip toward him and twirl the bat for emphasis. "Guilty."
"I'm impressed, not many could catch a ball on fire like that. Are you a pyromancer?" Victoria asks as she approaches me.
"Oh hunny buns I'll be whatever you need me to be." I say flirtatiously.
She's surprised before she leans closer with a smile. "Is that a promise?" She teases.
Behind us two vampires growl. James and Jasper. I turn to Jasper with a glare and when I meet his eyes their flashing between golden and black. I roll my own eyes with a sigh. "Yer never any fun." I whine. Me and Victoria stoped flirting but casually her hand brushed my skin as she passed me and she recoiled in fear before playing it off with confidence. No one else saw the interaction.
The game was played until James catches Bella's scent. "You brought A snack."
"Told ya the humie smelled." I chirp after the interaction. When the Cullens spilt I go with Jasper and Alice. I didn't have much choice because they thought I was at risk as well.
~
The hotel had a stocked mini fridge at least and while Bella moped in the bed room I sat in the living room drinking the mini bottles.
I know when Bella leaves and follow only steps behind her where I'm led to a ballet studio. James waits and before he can pounce on her I get to him first. Hand on his arm.
"Hiya! While Bella may be clumsy and dating a loser she doesn't deserve whatever torture your gonna put her through." I chirp as the dark beast rears its head. My stomach is tight with excitement and ideas of violence. My fingers clench tighter over the vampires arm as I tilt my head and lean toward his face. He's stock still in shock but it only last a second.
"She said your dangerous. That I should watch out for you." James murmurs under his breath.
My smile stretches almost psychotically. "Bel—la why don't you run along now. Me an Jamie wanna play." I say liltingly as my voice rises with my excitement.
"But."
This time I do turn my eyes from James. I stare Bella down and she flinches back a step. "Hell's bells child! Get out." I demand before turning back to the vampire.
Lightning fast he puts his hand on my throat and I chuckle despite the tightness. "Always the throat." I say unflinching as I pry his fingers from my neck and begin breaking them. My free hand goes to his shoulder to hold him down as I rip his hand and some of his forearm. "Need a Hand?" I say waving the appendage before throwing it behind me.
He crumples holding his handless arm in pain before rushing for me.
A fight ensues and I begin to dance around him while throwing taunts between laughter. When I felt like it's been long enough for bella to get away I begin to strike back. A hit to his leg or arm and he slows considerably as it takes time to heal the cracks. I mostly aim for joints so that the appendages will be easier to tear.
In a Lucky Shot he throws me at a mirror and it shatters against my back. The pain is numb and easily ignored as I stand up again and begin laughing and dissolve into giggles while holding my arm. I rip the largest piece of glass out and it scrapes the wound wider but I only chuckle. "Your so cute when your angry! Just wait I'm gonna break down your ego bit by itty bit, boy." I stand straight and walk toward him while he watches me with apprehension. "Awe is the wittle hunter scawed?" I pout. I jump in excitement. "I know!" In a second I'm beside him. My hand on his good arm and the other on his neck. "Your gonna kneel, or your going to die. Isn't this fun?"
A noise escapes his throat. Maybe it's whimper or a growl but I don't care enough and push him forward. He tries to vamp-speed away but I hold him down on his stomach and step on his back as I rip his leg clean off. "Oopsies! I was gonna leave you at least a knee but you know how these things are—" I press my own knee deeper in his back. My hand on the back of his head. I put my other hand on his good arm and begin pulling it from his shoulder. "— don't know my own strength!" I grunt ripping the arm from his shoulder. Bones exposed and visible. "Oh look here, that's your collarbone poking out isn't it?" The vampire whimpers and tries to wiggle away but I slam his head into the wooden flood. "Sit still. I wanna see all your pretty insides." I cheer as I examine the limbless shoulder. The muscle and tissues are solidified into a strong marble like material. Small veins run throughout, but no longer transport life force.
I grab the heavy body by the back of his neck and drag him to a chair in the middle of the room that I materialized. James's body is dropped on the chair and he makes no move to get up.
I slap his face lightly. "Where's that big ego? You were going to kill a measly human for a little bit of pleasure, not out of necessity or anything but for your own amusement. See, I don't like monsters like you. Killing for sport." I walk around the chair as I talk. "I don't like the girl much but someone would miss her. Her daddy is the chief of police. If you killed her, I'd be the top suspect or the Cullens." I grab James hair harshly and pull his head over the backing of the chair. Small spiderweb cracks run along his neck from the pressure. "We can't have that James. I've already sent Laurent on his way, he can make it up to me in the future. But you and your lady bird..." I suck my tongue in a tutting noise and release his hair harshly. "And she was so pretty too!" I whine.
At this point the vampire is whimpering with the use of torture. "I won't get her today or tomorrow. But soon. And I promise to be the one to put her down. You understand? Don't you?" I tilt his head up gently with my finger under his chin. "She'll want her revenge won't she? An eye for an eye." I snicker. "But she'd need an army to take me down." I shrug my shoulders apathetically. "I always liked a challenge. Let's say, little under a year." I let my head dip backwards as my eyes lazily find Victoria hiding behind a curtain. Hands over her mouth to hide her pain. "Whatdya say sweetheart?"
She throws her arms back and screams as she moves to vamp speed toward me. "Tch, bad kitty." I say waggling my finger. "If you want a fighting chance, you need an army."
James head snaps to the side. "Victoria! Run, run! Don't come back for me. Get out of here!!" James says rapidly.
The blonde vampire looks around and then begins backing away before running off.
"Thought she'd never leave." I huff turning back to James. "Where were we?"
When the Cullens do arrive, Jasper is the one to open the door. What greets them is the sight of a heavily mutilated body sitting upright in a chair while Marcella sits in front of it on her own chair, holding a dismembered head that can only manage to whine and whimper. Blood litters the far corner near a broken mirror and Marcella herself is covered in blood around her back and arm.
Marcella drops the head carelessly and stands to greet them. But something is off. This isn't happy go lucky. Her head is tilted just slightly and she moves too quietly. Like a predator prowling in the jungle. Her heartbeat doesn't fluctuate at all other then a rapid beat every couple few. "Oopsie! He was supposed to last much longer." She speaks like she's telling a funny joke. But no one laughs. She nods with what she said and turns back to the head on the floor and crouches beside it. "This is all your fault, dummy." She shrugs dropping the head in the lap of the body and they're set on fire before anyone can blink. "Mhhm marshmallows would be nice." She continues. Carlisle is the first to notice the signs and gently pulls his children back out the building.
"This must be what she was talking about when she mentioned going dark. I didn't expect it to be this—" Carlisle pauses for the right word.
"Unhinged?" Rosalie offers.
Carlisle sends her a disproving look but doesn't correct her wording.
"This is way worse than anything major has done." Alice interjects. "She explained it so plainly.—"
"I can handle this."
"Son," Carlisle is cut off before he can protest.
"I can manipulate her emotions or at least calm her down. She's my mate."
Jasper enters the building again to find Marcella is looking at herself in the mirror. She's looking this way and that as if she's never seen herself before. Then her eyes meet his in the reflection. "Hello cowboy. Here to reel me in?"
"We need Marcella back." Jasper speaks plainly.
"No no no! You see while major may be a separate personality that you can just push and pull around. I'm not!" She doesn't shout but it still rings loudly around the room. "I am not some change in personality I'm—pure, angelic. I am warrior over death. I am a fraction of the seal that holds back the darkness. Nasty thing really. Wouldn't want any of that here." She ends her sentence jokingly before becoming silent. "Why am I explaining this to you. It all goes over that nice pretty head of yours. Marcella never left." Marcella turns away from the mirror to fully address the vampire. "Right now we need a little chat. In under a year the war will start. Victoria and at least Half that army is mine to slaughter. The puppies on the reservation need to stay out of it. In the original timeline they did help but with me here they will become." She clicked her teeth as if searching for the right word. "Ah, redundant." She tilts her head downward to look at Jasper through her lashes. "So let's keep them out of this. Okay." She perks up smiling.
"Can Marcella come back yet?"
Marcella stomped her foot. "I am Marcella." She turned away again and her face turned sad as she continued on in a quieter more somber tone. "Why does no one ever listen to me? I didn't ask for any of this. I want to be home. I want dean. I want to watch movies with him. I want to go on car rides. I want to make breakfast with them and crack jokes. I want to read with Sam. I want to listen to Cas tell stories about the beginning. I want my brothers. I want— I want! I just want to go home!" She threw her fist into the mirror and it shattered leaving a red trail down her arm. "All this time and I'm no closer to going home." She whispered and began to collapse. Before she could slam her knees into the pile of glass, Jasper grabbed her and held her up.
Marcella clung to him as she sniffled. She did not wail like she did the first time the rift closed but it was not a soft cry either. Jasper swooped down to pick her up completely in a princess carry as it was the only way to hold her and keep her restrained. Each exhale she shook so violently with silent sobs as she clung to him tight enough to almost crack his marble like skin.
Jasper exited the ballet studio and when his family saw the sight of the shaking girl they all felt remorse. While being a vampire is no walk in the park, none could imagine how it felt to have fractions of an angels grace in their very soul. She described it like it was tidlewaves of emotion that threaten to swallow you in sadness or kill you in anger. Was that anger in the studio? Was this sadness?
None of them could understand or imagine a fraction of the emotions the girl was feeling. Except Jasper. The skin to skin contact only made his gift stronger and while he couldn't shed a tear to match her pain he could feel his chest clenching for needed breath he would never require. His whole body felt weightless in a sense that every joint was burning so hot it felt cold. Even his face felt like it was on fire as he tried to contain screams of pure agony. The pain was almost blinding and he nearly stumbled as he walked.
"Are you okay Jasper?" Edward asked after hearing his brothers thoughts.
For a moment jasper's eyes appeared dead, lifeless and Edward flinched. Jaspers only response was to look back down at Marcella and hold her closer in hopes that the physical contact would help some with her painful feelings.
~~
Marcella was quiet for most the ride, her shaking stilled to only small tremors. She refused to release herself from Jasper and sat in his lap the whole ride. While Jasper could feel nothing but pain from his mate, he still took pride that she clung to him and not anyone else. He let himself breathe in her smell and hold her closer. He used his gift to send calm waves every few minutes.
Marcella moved for the first time in what was probably hours and buried her head under jaspers chin. Her warm nose nudged the hollow of his throat and he tilted his neck further back in curiosity. Her lips brushed his collarbone as she spoke her first words in a quiet voice. "Thank you, cowboy."
Jasper didn't verbally respond, all the response he could say would not amount for the emotions he felt. "I love you, I'll always care for you. This and what you are could not make me love you any less, only more." Instead he settled for hugging her tighter. He could never tell her those words. She made it clear that romance was out of the question and he would respect her wishes. But he couldn't help himself from loving the feel of her lips on his skin. He wouldn't stop his affection unless she said so. And if she asked him to, he would die a little inside without her. But he would respect it.
Soon Marcella fell asleep for the rest of the drive home. And even after, there was no way he would wake her. He carried her into the Cullen home and up the steps to his room where he tried to set her on the couch. In the end he had to lay down with her still clutching him. Anytime her emotions took a dark turn, he used his gift to give her a peaceful slumber.
~~
Marcella woke up from her slumber, cold but not unwelcomed. Strong marble like arms held her close to a still chest. Breath fanned against her neck as whoever was holding her breathed her in like a bouquet of flowers. "Cowboy?" Came her strangled whisper.
"I'm here, Darlin." He whispered back, accent thick. "I'm not leaving you for a second." He said possessively.
She didn't respond verbally but curled further into him, hands balling themselves in his shirt while one cupped his face. As the thought occurred she pulled the hand on his face away. "I didn't hurt you or anyone else, right?"
"You killed James. You said there would be a war. Threatened that half the newborns were yours to kill." Jasper grew a teasing smirk. "The major found your 'dark side' irrevocably enticing. Said he wanted to lick the blood of you and shower you in compliments. To worship you." He leaned down and nosed my jaw. "I would worship you if you asked." His voice turning pleading and my chest clenched to hear such a sad tone.
"Jasper?"
"Yes?"
"Can we stay like this a little longer. There is a war going on in my head and until my situation is clear, I can't give you an answer that doesn't hurt us both." For emphasis I let my hand cup his face so he could feel my emotions. By the grimace on his face he was experiencing my pain, fear, longing, homesickness and resentment.
He clasped his hand over mine, "I understand. But I won't stop. I will do everything I can to court you properly until you provide an answer."
"I expect no less." I respond not taking my hand from his face I move back into his chest and burry my head under his chin. "Just another hour before I have to socialize?"
~~
When the hour was up Jasper was reluctant to pull himself away from his mate. To relinquish her from his arms. But the time came anyway as Marcella stretched and yawned. Marcella turned to move out of his arms but he tightened his grip.
"Uh uh. Nope. I can smell your moms cooking from here, you are not keeping me away from her food." I easily pried his arms off me with his compliance and left the room jumping over the banister. Only this time Jasper had gotten to the bottom before me and caught me. "Spoilsport!" Regardless, I let jasper carry me to the kitchen and set me on a stool. A large plate of pasta and salad is placed in front of me and I dig in with gusto. "Oh my gods! Miss Cullen this is so good!" I say around a mouth full of food. I finish the plate and look up to see the rest of the Cullens had gathered.
"So—" Marcella draws her words trying to start conversation. "I went a little killer on him. And may have threatened Victoria. But like I lived!" The say nothing for a moment until Alice speaks up.
"Are you okay now?" She asks in worry.
"Oh yeah! I'm great. Something aches but it will pass." I clench my chest.
"While you were out I did scans on you just to be sure. There's multiple fractures and tears in your body. The newest ones are around your heart." Carlisle states. "But you don't seem surprised?"
"Stress fractures. It's ironic really. If Lucifer didn't imbue me with grace while he tortured me; I would've died a most painful death as my heart would explode in my chest. Because of his grace I was healed or am healing. Using grace makes me heal faster. But if I put too much stress on my heart while using grace then..." I tilt my head.
"You'd die?"
"Ha! No. I just fall into a mildly inconvenient comma until the damage is partially restored."
"Sleeping beauty much." Emmet teases.
"I'll break your arm again." I threaten and he booms with laughter.
~~Bella's birthday party.
While I didn't particularly want to attend the event, Jasper was still a very real threat to Bella.
Bella and Edward came down the stairs, she had gotten her boot taken off sometime in the months before. She was now a year older than Edward in physical age and even I could see how it worried her. Alice bounced around with Bella's camera in hand as she took many photos of the happy couple.
Problems only arose when Bella began opening gifts. From Rosalie a necklace Alice had picked out. Emmet had gotten her new speakers for her truck but not before dissing it. The real problem came before we knew it, clumsy Bella had cut herself on the envelope from Carlisle and Esme.
I saw the minuscule moment as he flexed his jaw but before he could lunge I had an arm around his throat and the other around his hands as I kicked his leg making him kneel. He struggled in the kneel so I moved my head closer, bowing it beside his. My hair draped around him and he began to calm at my scent being close to him.
I looked up through my eye lashes to see Edward holding Bella back to protect her if need be while both Emmet and Carlisle watched Jasper with apprehension. Shocked gasps and the way Jaspers posture changed showed his change in personality.
I smirked into his curls. "Major." I said releasing my hand holding his back but not letting up my arm around his throat. Instead of fighting to break out the Major began to cradle my arm around his throat and a soft purr left him as I tightened that arm. A dopey smile flooded his face. "Bella, me and Jasper will be going on a walk. Please see that your cut is taken care of by the good doctor." I inform her before dragging Jasper up and then holding him by his neck as I marched him out the house. Before I left the house entirely the last things the Cullens heard was "you clingy fucking cat."
—
Getting outside and further from the house the more major whined as he tried to touch me but my hand on his neck only let him get so far. "Please. Need to know your okay." He said.
I let my fingers up one by one until my hand was off his throat then he zoomed toward me and began furiously sniffing me and running his hands over my body. When he was done he sank to the forest floor and rested his head on my stomach, arms around my waist keeping me trapped. My hands ran through his curls as I let his mind wander. "Calm yet?"
His response was to grip me tighter.
“Edward sees himself as a threat. He loves Bella and he will ask you all to move away. Forget forks.” Major growls and I grow a teasing smirk. My nails rake through his hair before pulling his head back from my stomach. He groans in pleasure from the tight grip, he elongated the noise to make me react. But ignore it in favor of continuing to talk. “The Cullens will leave. I don’t suppose you want me to leave with you. I’d rather not stick around while Bella becomes depressed.“

warframe oc ask game for valadis!
tenno: apostasy prologue
drifter: the limbo theorem
warframe: awakening
Apostasy Prologue: For Tenno: How did they take the Lotus' abandonment? How did they deal with the void in power that she left? Who did they blame?
Betrayal and Vindication are the two primary feelings Valadis associates with the Lotus in general, and this development was no exception. Outwardly, they celebrated her being gone since they always resented her nagging and her attempts to claim parenthood over them. Let her be Ballas' problem, see if they care, yk? But, even though they decided retroactively that they'd seen this coming the whole time and didn't want her around anyways, they still felt lost and alone. They had initially latched on to the Lotus after being reawakened because she was the only voice around, even if it was a voice telling them what to do it was still better than silence. They had gotten used to her being there, a constant presence even if it wasn't one that they would admit to *liking*. Valadis has never coped very well with major disruptions in their life, especially ones they didn't cause. Which is why they tried to "blame" themself- tell themself that they had driven her away on purpose in an attempt to claim control over the situation, but really at the time they just blamed her and couldn't understand why she had left.
The Limbo Theorem: What is your character passionate about? What skills are they best at?
In another era the Drifter Valadis could have made their life as a professional Komi player and teacher. There was a while where they spent every loop ignoring everything else to play Komi until Thrax's guards found them and hauled them away. Eventually, they got tired of being the only one who could actually learn anything from the games day to day, but not before cementing themself as thoroughly unbeatable. They also had a similar phase with the Shawzin. You pick up a lot of weird little skills when you have near limitless time to practice with. But, as far as practical things go, they're also extremely good at cooking and can make just about anything seem appetizing with the right tools/enough time.
Awakening: For Warframes: What is their earliest memory?
The first memory of the Lavos that Valadis now uses is, of course, his activation upon first transference while in orbit around Deimos. Nothing special. However, like all warframes, he has access to residual memories held by the Original Lavos at the time the blueprint was created- and on top of that, Javi and the Warden (or the copies of copies of them who have lived on in the metadata) can and have shared, through him, memories of their own lives prior to the transmutation. Perfect vessel that he is, Lavos can't act on any of this knowledge, and the snakes refuse to allow him to share it with his Operator, but he sure does have it.
OG post link
#warframe#valadis oc#fun fact drifter val is good at/likes komi bc i play go irl and have yet to lose a komi match in game lmao#also again if anything i say abt my ocs contradicts game lore no the fuck it doesnt

It's the finale! Time to crown our winners and wrap up another amazing season!
Dancing With the Stars took over ABC's entire Tuesday night since many shows were already on hiatus for Thanksgiving. The first half-hour was a retrospective where the finalists were discussed by the judges who highlighted their strengths by replaying some of their past dances. They highlighted a lot of Disney Night dances, which made sense for Joey, Ilona and Danny. I'm not sure Stephen's Charleston from that night was one of the best to highlight him.
Thankfully they then played his Halloween contemporary, which was far better.
The main show featured the return of all the contestants for this past season, including Anna Delvey. So I guess the rumors she was banned were not true. They made some references to her famous "nothing" comment, of course. Jenn and Sasha danced along with Brooks and Gleb, the two couples rumored to come out of this season. Are Brooks and Gleb back together? Who knows? Who cares?
I enjoyed that they let Reginald…sway…in time to the Family Matters theme. It was a nice touch.
Derek got in one last dance, this time with his good friend Mark Ballas. They danced an Argentine tango together, revealing the dance was first performed by two men. So they were going back to its roots. It was a powerful performance and highlighted not only their talent but their friendship, showing that they are amazing partners.
As for the finalists, they first had a redemption dance - they were given a style they struggled with earlier in the season and had to dance it again but with a different song. And then came the freestyles where the sky is the limit. I'm going to combine my comments on both dances this time and I will start with the couple who came in fifth, finishing with the winners.
So who won Dancing With the Stars? Find out!
Danny and Witney: I'm glad Derek decided to give Danny and Witney a tango for their redemption dance. It's felt like more times than not, Witney relied heavily on tricks rather than dance moves. Not to say that they haven't pulled off some amazing moves but I wanted to just see Danny dance. He wasn't as smooth as the others but he at least got one last chance to show he had some talent with dancing. As for their freestyle, it was fun and Danny looks a lot like Ryan Gosling. He did struggle with some of the steps, especially at the end. This felt like he and Witney knew they weren't going to win so they decided to just have some fun before it was over, especially given the focus on Witney for the first twenty or thirty seconds of the dance.
Stephen and Rylee: Bruno worked with Stephen and Rylee on their redemption quickstep which showed how far Stephen came in this competition. He was on beat and his musicality really improved. Again, he looked more like he was leading rather than following Rylee. Stephen has really blossomed during this competition and again stole America's hearts. His freestyle featured his fellow gymnasts and really let him shine. I think Rylee made the right call to choreograph a contemporary routine. His Halloween contemporary was one of his best and this was right up there. He may not have taken home the mirrorball trophy but he was definitely a winner in our books. Also, how sweet was it that Lindsay was there in the skybox after their freestyle to congratulate and support them?
Chandler and Brandon: Chandler and Brandon received some guidance from Carrie Ann to help improve their jive, their redemption dance. And again, they went out there and killed it. It's been so much fun to watch her dance this season and I'm so glad she made it to the finals. This jive proved why she deserved to be there. So did her freestyle, a celebration of Black dancers starting with the Nicholas Brothers and including another tribute to Soul Train. They made history as the first Black couple to make it to the finals and even though they fell short of the mirrorball trophy, they definitely leave behind some timeless routines that will no doubt be honored in upcoming seasons.
Ilona and Alan: Unsurprisingly, Bruno assigned Ilona and Alan the jive for their redemption dance. She had some concerns given how poorly her last jive went but she pushed them aside and delivered a great jive. It really showed off her personality and her talent as well as her confidence. She showed some real growth this season and it's not a surprise she made it to second place. I think the audience really showed what they valued this season - growth over natural talent. Her freestyle was also a lot of fun and Ilona shone brighter than the pros, really showing herself off. I also loved her reaction to the picture of Alan dressed as a donkey. Someone really should burn that.
Joey and Jenna: Derek had Joey and Jenna dance the cha-cha as their redemption dance. And it definitely highlighted Joey's talent. He was constantly in motion and he handled the cha-cha content like a pro. It was a fun routine that really allowed him to show off his personality too. It's not a surprise he became the first Bachelor to win the mirrorball trophy. Like Ilona, he showed some real growth, seemed genuine and very down-to-earth, and had some talent. It made it very easy to root for him and Jenna as well as vote for them. As for their freestyle, it was fun and paid tribute to his first love - tennis - but I think he and Jenna could've gone even bigger. Out of all the freestyles, I remember this one the least. But it was still a good routine and he still walked away with the mirrorball, so I don't really think it matters in the end.
I know this is very late - over a month late. I didn't have the time to finish this but now that we're in the holidays, I finally can. So I can at least wrap up this season before 2025.
Thanks for reading my opinions this past season! I hope you have a wonderful New Year and I hopefully will see you for the next season of Dancing With the Stars!

Petals May Wilt (But We Can’t Let Them Wither)
The New War is over. The System is saved, for now. Yet, a new challenge arises, the issue of ‘the Lotus’. With her mind fragmented from Ballas’s abuse, can she begin to coexist with the other two voices that now begin to drown out her own?
Natah and Margulis have been awakened into a world that is distinctly unfamiliar. They are not who they once were—in more ways than one. But who is the third voice sharing their mind, and why is she so uncomfortably familiar—for one of them, at least?
Chapter 3: Atrocious Indoctrination, Altruistic Protection
She was made to temper his obsession, to be nothing but an epigone. Yet, perhaps the Sentinel can one day create her own identity.
TW: There are just a couple warnings that I want to address for this chapter before we get into the story.
Non-graphic mentions of the canon-typical abuse, manipulation, and other nonsense that comes with Ballas’s character. He’s terrible, this is a TW that is going to show up fairly frequently in this fic.
Somewhat graphic, canon-typical violence.
Going along with the point above, there are a few somewhat graphic mentions of injuries. Lotus gets stabbed, and poisoned by the Void. You’ve all (hopefully) all played TNW, y’all knew (at least some of) this was coming.
Identity crisis. I feel like that’s par for the course with these characters, but figured I’d mention it anyways since this is the chapter where it really starts becoming a thing.
I’d also like to add that this chapter is in first person POV. I’ve always written Lotus that way, for whatever reason, so I hope that it isn’t too jarring of a switch from Natah and Margulis’s chapters.
With everything out of the way, the fic begins under the cut.
Can a being truly long for something that they have never experienced? Can one wish for a childhood that was never theirs, for memories that were never theirs to hold in the first place? I was created to fill a niche, formed from the shell of the enemy, and the memories of a woman whose legacy I was doomed to destroy. A woman with too much love for the world she was born into. When I first laid my eyes on her children, I instantly knew why she had died to protect them.
The entirety of my existence, I was living in another’s shadow. I was not given a name. I was simply the Sentient amalgam meant to become ‘Margulis’. But I could not. As naive as I was, that I knew. But…I could adapt my systems to her memories. I allowed her kindness to comfort me. I allowed her strength to fuel my own. Her emotions seeped into my precepts, giving me the ability to connect with her children—my children. Her notes, the painting at her desk, the ancient texts that she adored, all of those taught me her passion for the world around her. It was something that I could use.
Yet, what about the other being, the Sentient Queen? I found myself uncomfortably forcing down any reminders of her existence, adjusting her precepts to better reflect my purpose. ‘Margulis’ was who I was supposed to be. ‘Natah’ was simply the corpse used to facilitate that. Ballas always told me that the Sentients were liars, they were the enemy. They were dangerous. That included Natah. Did that include me as well? When it came time to prove myself useful, I looked upon the Sentient, that thing that called itself my ‘brother’, and with little love in my false heart, urged my children to fight. It was my duty. I was Natah no more.
I never was her, was I?
Was I?
We won the war, but there was still one thing that had to be done. I had to protect my children. I sealed them away, forcing Lua into the Void, exhausting myself in the process. With flaking skin and trembling limbs, I breathed a sigh of relief. They were safe.
I did not mind when I collapsed alone in my ship, my form shifting uncontrollably as my body attempted to adapt to the toxins. I ignored the agony as my skin reformed itself. There was work to do, I did not have time to wallow in my pain. I would survive. I always did.
Centuries passed. I sat vigil, watching as the System fell into chaos. The Orokin were gone, yet I was at a loss. I should have been free…but something tethered me to their teachings. The Tenno began to awaken, and I was the first voice in their ears. They did not remember Margulis. I…found myself uncertain of my feelings on that matter. I lied to them, led them to believe that they and their Warframes were one and the same.
I had to. It was the only way to protect them.
Until my past—Natah’s past—reared its ugly head. One by one, I watched as my children were hunted by that Sentient and his ‘Shadow’. One by one, I watched them awaken from the dream that I had placed them into. One by one, I waited, anticipating the horrific day that the process would go wrong, would drive them mad.
I did this to them. My fear made me blind.
Yet, they persevered, as they always did.
When that horror from my past reared his ugly head, I took the only path that I could bring myself to. It was to protect them, I swore to myself. As my mind was re-written, as I was stripped to my base precepts, to Natah and Margulis once more, as I was made to doubt my own memories, that was my mantra.
It was to protect them.
Protect them.
Protect who?
The Void was to be a welcome escape. Yet, it was not.
Rage and terror, like that which controls a cornered animal, fueled me as I fought that ‘Tenno’—not one of my Tenno, no, it was wrong, somehow—, fueled me as I fought my way, clawing and screaming, back to Ballas, to kill him. My fury, like my fear, made me blind. They were right. I was not strong enough.
The word ‘Master’ rose from my throat with the agony of a thousand blades as I was ordered to slay my child, one of the very beings that gave me purpose. Why did she follow me? I told her to stay away. A part of me shattered every time I saw her wince from my attacks. Yet, she kept trying to reach me, never landing a single blow as she attempted to talk me out of my altered state. Memories flickered back into my mind, reminding me of who I was.
Even that did not deter him. I cared not about each burning beam that punctured my skin. I told myself that I did not feel the searing pain. I only wanted one thing.
Spare them.
Leave them ALONE.
I SAID STOP!
My screech tore through the air, energy discharging from my body, knocking him back. I would not let him harm my children. His focus redirected itself, and determination mixed with the swell of fear collecting in my chest. His words, his insults cut through my mind like the sharpest Hikou, but I only pleaded with my Tenno—my child—to escape.
When I felt the agony from the Paracesis, the great ‘Sentient Slayer’, spread through my torso, I only thought of my children, my purpose. As I fell to my knees, barely comprehending the dampness growing from the jagged wound, my mind stuck on only one fact. I had failed them.
No. Not yet.
Disgust rippled through my mind as I stole my life back from him, as I felt the tissues that had been sliced apart begin to knit themselves back together. I glanced down at my hands, at my appearance.
I was changed.
I did not have a moment to revel in the victory, purple sparks dancing on my fingertips as I forced back the unknown entity that only…laughed in a chilling tone as it watched us. The exertion took its toll, of course. As my senses faltered, as my limbs weakened, unable to hold me steady, I glanced back at my child, smiling gently as I collapsed, as the world went dark.
‘EXPLAIN. NOW.’
The anger in the commanding hiss startles me awake. Why is there another? Who is this being? A rhythm beats steadily against my mind, fragmenting my thoughts with its fury. A quiet, confused hum joins it.
‘What’s going on? Where am I?’
This hum is decidedly less angry than the other, but my child’s voice breaks me out of my mind. She has asked me a question…I answer her to the best of my ability, my words slow, disjointed.
“I…I thought I was…Natah—“ That elicits a spike of anger from one of the voices, distracting me for a moment, though I force myself to continue.
“—…Margulis—“ A confused hum from the other voice, as if I had spoken to her…My mind lights up in realization, finally connecting names to the sudden appearances. I pause briefly before continuing to speak to my child.
“—…L…Lotus…?” The response to that confuses me. How is my identity up to me? It…has never been up to me. I deflect the Tenno’s—no, not the Tenno, something different—question. Just another lie. It is to protect them, I tell myself. The sounds in my mind begin anew, pulling my attention inward once again. It is loud, too loud. They are asking questions that I cannot answer. The sharp-toned one—Natah, I remind myself—hisses in irritation, confused as to what I am doing in her mind. The soft-voiced one—Margulis—agrees…somewhat. My Tenno’s voice is yet another that I cannot drown out, but I find myself unable to fully answer her.
Am I ready?
I…am not one. The realization dawns on me, and as my child poses yet another choice, I find myself at a crossroads. I do not know who I am. I do not know which of my ‘voices’ should lead. Natah screeches, furious. Margulis hums, her tone clearly conflicted, disapproving. Both of them project their opinions in the same instant, and I am at a loss, unable to properly comprehend either. I turn my head towards my child, though I know that she cannot see the plea in my gaze.
Tell me who I am.
I do not know who I am.
Tell me.
Yet, despite my silent conflict, there is a tiny, fractured part of my mind that yearns to be heard, a part that does have a faint idea of who I might be. That same part of me is…relieved that my child seems to be leaving the choice up to me—though I had expected her to want her true mother back. I am not Natah. I am not Margulis. I was created from both of them, but I have been molded into someone else entirely. Perhaps I can be more than what he designed me to be. I am a leader, a protector, a mother. I do not shy away from what must be done, but I do not cause undue torment either. Despite the chaos in my mind, I find my voice oddly tranquil, reflecting false certainty.
“I am the Lotus.”

Being Rooster's sister and dating Jake would include...
At first glance, you would hate Jake. And I mean hate.
Not in a friendly banter kind of way, but you would actually lothe him.
You're a year younger than your brother and also a pilot, so when you're called to Top Gun as on of the youngest female pilots there, you were delighted.
You had a bitter sweet reunion with your brother and met his friends, who soon became yours.
Your call sign is not related to birds for a change. They call you lynx for you speed in the aire.
When you met Hangman, your brother was at the piano singing Great Balla of Fire for the fifth time that night.
"You're not gonna join them?" Was the first thing he ever said to you.
"No, I'd rather sit this one out." Qas what you replied with.
Then as the conversation went on, you found more and more reasons to hate him. First and foremost his arrogance. He thought he was the best pilot ever Nad you were ready to prove him wrong.
Then he went on talking about how he though that women couldn't possibly fly as fast as men, which made you blood boil, buy you stayed quiet about tha fact that you are a pilot as well.
Later that night, you went back to your house to find your roommate wasn't there yet. And hour later you found out who it was. Jake.
Neither of you were please about the fact that that you had to share a house, but you lived with it.
For weeks all your conversations consisted of 'Hi's ans 'Fuck you's'
One night, when you returned late from your brother's house, you found Jake sleeping on the couch. He had books surrounding him, three mugs of coffee and his phone which was playing some song in his ear.
He was a sight for sore eyes. Hair all messed up, drool around his lips, eyes so peaceful. The first thing you did was click a photo. Then you went on to clean the coffee table, keeping all his books in one place, taking all the dishes to the sink and Turin his phone off.
When you went to take his earphones off, the man made a sound that you could never forget. You were frozen.
How can a cocky man like that also be the cutest thing on this planet. (After puppies of course)
You then went to your room, after putting a blanket on him, and slept.
His behavior towards you changed from that day on. He was no longer underestimating you and actually tried to hold a conversation.
This didn't go unnoticed ne Rooster. He warned you about him, but you were already too dar gone.
One night, you came tk get a midnight snack to find him sitting at the counter staring at his phone, a doughnut hanging from his mouth.
'Oh hey Bradshaw.'
'Hello'
'Looking for something to eat?"
'Yep "
'I made doughnuts'
'You made these?"
'Yep. Wanna try?'
The rest of the night was spent talking about everything and anything. You saw a side of him he didn't show and he saw a side yiu yiu he fell in love with.
You two getting together didn't include a big speech or anything like that. It included you two, his bed and a whole lot of hotness.
You kept it a secret cause you Kew Rooster would kill him. But the sneaking around was the best part.
Whenever you would get insecure about you body, that man would make sure to touch and kiss every part of you and tell you ho much you mean to him.
Rooster was not at all pleased when he found out, and how he found out.
After training he came to your house opening it with the key you had given him. All he was greeted with was clothes laying down on the floor. He first went to your room and didn't find you there.
He then followed the trail of the clothes, only to find his baby sister and his nemesis on his bed doing the nasty.
'What the fuck!!'
'Rooster we can explain.'
'Then do.'
'Well we have to get dressed first.'
After being fully clothed they were in the living room, sitting on different couches.
They talked it out and Rooster found out that Jake is actually a very good person. He just dosent show it.
After getting the 'Talk' from Rooster they were finally out of the woods.
Hangman might leave people hanging, but he would never leave you.

DAY 5179
Obr:Grg:del April 20, 2022 Wed 6:33 PM
🤍 , Tomorrow .. April 21 .. birthday of Ef Arijit Bhattacharya from Kolkata .. and we wish him all the joy and happiness .. .. and .. happy birthday to Ef Amlan Goswami from Lucknow for April 18 .. Love and prayers .. 🚩🙏🏻✨🕊️💮🌼

खोपड़ी पे खोपड़ी पे खोपड़ी पे खोपड़ी !
रामलाल पंडा , खोपड़ी का झंडा !!
🤣🤣🤣 ..
many would be in thought that the Blogmaestradonoda needs to get some much needed rest .. the khopadi has collapsed .. khopadi ? in colloquial tongue refers to the head !!!
the ‘rest’ remark comes from a well wisher who felt I needed it since, when asked what name should be given to the bat menace in the house , due to its repeated occurrence , I suggested .. balla maar .. बल्ला मार ... balla in Hindi is a name for the bat .. in cricket , or any other game where a ball striking object is used .. balla .. so for the bat , its balla maar .. maar as in hit or strike ..
so the well wisher after receiving this naming, retaliated with ..’i think you need to get some more rest .. 🤣🤣..’!
BUT .. ladies and gentlemen of the jury .. the रामलाल पंडा , खोपड़ी का झंडा !! is not another freak sentence or suggestion to the picture on post ..
IT is .. an oft repeated voice at the time of the Mela or the large fair that is held on the banks of Sangam, the confluence of the two sacred rivers - Ganga- Jamuna .. and of course the mystical Saraswati river that flows, they say, as a stream beneath the Sangam ..
Panda’s are genealogists .. genealogists ? .. is the person who traces the family line .. keeps books of names and signatures of descendants , and at times a few words with names and dates of a visit to the sacred Sangam , by ancestors .. there are many such in the entire country .. especially at sacred Holy places ..
I have traced many of mine at such places and left my details for the generations to come after me ..
So these Pandas they have their little cottage or a tent during the festive bathings on the banks of the river during Kumbh , held every 12 years ( held every 12th year in January and February at Allahabad, Haridwar et al , because that is the auspicious placing of the Sun in Aquarius as per astrology pandits, on that date ) and Ardh Kumbh, half Kumbh mela - the largest gathering of humanity in the World for this event at the time - and to announce their presence, they put up a flag pole over their little habitat/hut, so that they can be identified among the millions that come .. and their agents or at times they themselves shall indicate where they are by putting an identifiable object on top of the flag pole .. at times a pot, a lota , or anything , a jhoola , .. just any object .. and the clarion call for them then is - if Ram Lal is the name of the Panda , he will shout :
Ram Lal panda .. jhoole ka jhanda .. if the flag pole has a jhoola on the top for identity ..
so Ram Lal panda, the one with the jhoola on the flag .. jhoola is the small swing as the object .. jhanda in Hindi is flag .. so the flag with the jhoola, is that of Ram Lal panda !!!
SO .. if ever I were to change my profession and become a Panda, I would put up this picture on the flag pole and scream to attract audiences :
Amitabh panda .. khopadi ka jhanda ..
अमिताभ पंडा , खोपड़ी का झंडा !!!
Panda to rhyme with jhanda .. 😀😀
more later .. got to do my water gym and physio ..
but before that some sad news .. lost a friend and a Director of eminence today :

T Rama Rao .. an astute Director and maker from the South, did films in Mumbai in Hindi too .. I worked with him on several .. the most prominent -
ANDHAA KANOON ..

Someone wanted more Cephalon Cy so you now get Cephalon Cy being a dad Notes. (And some of my idiot Tenno’s notes.)
Cy is. A good dad. Strict, yes, but willing to explain why if asked. That said, if it’s your birthday you’re getting spoiled rotten. Little Luna got frequent shoulder rides and got to command Cadogan around like a massive mount.
Glace.... gets fishing supplies and snake food seeing as fishing addict/they kept one of the false water cobra’s kids as they ended up Thyrst-red. (The noodle is named Thyrst. Well-taken care of snake, along with all of Glace’s Kubrows and Kavats. A good diet of Kuakas with supplemental Murkray fillets and vitamin powders.) Cy is also always open to comforting his kids if needed. Glace has nightmares? Get plopped on his lap and snuggled, nerd. @apprenticenerd‘s Jhia has wing cramps? If wanted, Cy will gladly gently apply massages. @mythandlaur‘s Kepler getting too overwhelmed? Cy will give her his coat to hide under until things stop being so much.
That said this idiot is also a chronic overworker. This is a habit that’s carried over from his days since Cadogan. Cy will work through at least five scheduled maintenance cycles and crash only once he starts lagging to a noticeable amount. ....Ordis has had to enter his office several times, use his override permissions, and drag him off to sleep. Seeing as my Cy’s Ordis is shorter than him, sometimes this giant is dragged off like a sack of potatoes slung over a shoulder.
Cy’s little bit of the weave looks like a tropical island, more often than not. Like the Dog-Days arena but smaller. Sometimes the simulated land mass is wrapped in a dome of glass and resting at the bottom of the Uranus waves, simulated wildlife swimming by above head. If resting, more often than not he prefers a hammock as he’s used one most of his life. (Saves more space as you can just unclip one side if extra storage is needed on a ship.)
Cy cares deeply for all his staff. When allowed public Drydock space, he made sure there were amenities that went above and beyond. All staff has medical insurance, a comprehensive time off policy, and several on-staff mental health professionals if needed. (Despite this the dumbass still doesn’t go to get his own mental health looked over.) There’s also at least two top of the line commercial coffee makers per drydock, one for regular coffee and one for cyborg/other modification friendly coffee. Despite the New Loka being the New Loka, they do make arguably the best coffee in the Origin system. Cy begrudgingly pays them for the good stuff, not because his staff doesn’t deserve it, but because it’s The New Loka.
The info that Ballas wanted to get from Luna? What was that last ship you sent out towards the edge of the solar system. The answer? A cache of history and culturally relevant artefacts from the Yvo clan and the others that fought with them until their end. Because as long as one is remembered, they are never forgotten.
The main members of the last Pirate Hoard were the Mercenaries of Yvo, the last few survivors of Ordan’s clan, Javi’s group of Europan Geneticists, the Neptunian Coders, and a few bits the Orokin dedicated servant class (apprenticenerd gave them the name of Tsei) who were super fed up and said ‘fuck it might as well die fighting for once.’
Of course, such a special project couldn’t go off unmanned. Problem is, a human-based Cephalon would go batty from the planned centuries in the Void Proxima region. So what did they do? Take a Cephalon they captured that’s broken, rip out the human ‘personality’ components and leave enough of the base coding that any mind smacked in there would be elevated to near-human levels of thinking. And the very lucky Sir Reginald was put in. This massive ass snake somehow made it off of Lua on the last supply cache to the Yvo as part of an old treaty.
Cy and Ordis managed to recover the cache on an experimental science-based Railjack loadout run. Cy is fucking ecstatic to be reunited with his “Number one boop noodle!”
Nowadays Sir Reginald still has free-roam of Cy’s current office. The Snakephalon does not have a spectral meat space form, but is more than content to just noodle around the Datascape bits of Cy’s office. Feet her a rat and she will love you forever. (Note that Rats for the Snakephalon translate to bits of bad data. You got a bad hard drive sector? She’ll eat it right up and be a content noodle.)
One last Cy thing. Glace happens to be cursed with a lot of aquatic based void mutations (Yes, it’s a good idea, I’m using it.) and one of them is basically super-charged shark teeth. Sometimes they fall out, and new ones growing in itch sometimes. If it’s bad enough, Cy will lend Glace their Atlas Prime arm to gnaw on for a bit. Just casually disconnect it from the elbow-down and hand it over, as void-mimicing-warframe is oddly hell teeth resistant. Glace appreciates this but is also lightly embarrassed, which is why they always hide under his desk when gnawing on his arm. Cy doesn’t mind one bit.
#Warframe#Warframe Tag#yes I went off again who cares#I just#have so much love for this pyramid dad.#if I can brain more/drag laur into this y'all might get Cydan propaganda.#Cydis?#It's both really seeing how her Ordis works

scrambled thoughts that are probably 90% inaccurate because i’m bad at remembering warframe plot/facts:
ballas saying he has always been alone because his vision was incomprehensible to "people", becoming incredibly jealous when margulis spends all her time helping the zariman children and showing motherly love towards them, him devoting several of his warframes to memories of her and then his big tantrum where all his bottled up anger and bitterness gets directed towards natah who was “supposed” to be the new margulis,,,
honestly the man just makes me sad at this point. he's always been alone, so even though he's lived several lifetimes it sounds like he's never been loved by anyone (or at least he never felt loved because he didn't feel understood by anyone), and probably never truly loved anyone himself. and but then he met margulis and he loved her, but he became super clingy because she's the first person he's felt this way about and the first person to love him/understand him i guess.
and while he wasn’t happy with her work with the tenno and didn’t like these void devils he still supported her, in his own,,, ballas way. also apparently giving the children nightmares so that he’d still be needed by margulis somehow. but they took margulis’ sight away (by accident of course), which was forgiven by her but not by him, and i guess it was another factor for his bitterness because she never forgave him for what he did (understandably of course). from the voice lines between her and ballas in the apostasy prologue, it kinda gave me the sense that they probably had a big disagreement the day before she got executed, her asking him to help her and “get her out of here”, and him saying he can’t, “can’t or won’t?” and then later her saying he’s no different than the rest of them, him asking her for forgiveness but never getting it, with margulis’ last words dedicated towards her “sons and daughters”, and then she got executed, and while he regretted abandoning and sacrificing her for his “faith”, he mostly blamed the tenno, because if it hadn’t been for them, she would still be alive.
so then he contacted hunhow later on and tried to get him to kill the tenno by revealing their location on lua, telling him that they’re the ones controlling the warframes that are currently winning the war against sentients for the orokin. I guess that didn’t work out too well and i still don’t rlly understand all the details because,,, well, DE isn’t very good at making the plot and timeline clear and comprehensible. i don’t know how the whole natah becoming lotus thing happened but pretty sure ballas was the main reason for that, trying to make himself a new margulis to feel better, a margulis he could control so she wouldn’t leave him again and would love him, but,,, i guess that didn’t work out so well either, because she chose the tenno over him once again (at least i think she chose them, i don’t think ballas would want her to do that).
and i still don’t know how much of ballas dying and then becoming a sentient-hybrid was part of his big plan, or if that wasn’t planned at all, but i do feel like either way, it did take part of his humanity away. i feel like it did fuck up his psyche even more, either the dying part or the “not being human anymore” part (though orokin have died several times, they kinda see death as a joke because they’ve found a way to come back. i mean their halloween is all about celebrating their immortality by dressing up as the dead to mock death).
idk where i was going with this, my brain is rotting and i have a lot of feelings.
#warframe spoilers#warframe ballas#his clinginess is unhealthy but so was the entire orokin empire and i doubt any of them ever went to therapy#i doubt it even exists in that world but who knows#also can u imagine an orokin admitting they're anything less than perfect unthinkable#im so confused at the timeline and plot#like pls DE pls make it clear#this is all recycled info for when i was attempting to do plot/timeline research for a fic with ballas in it#so take most of this with a grain of salt because my brain is mush#also BIG DISCLAIMER this isn't supposed to be exusing any of ballas' actions!!#im not defending him or anything#look i started off hating his guts and gagging when he was on screen but somehow it all turned into whatever the hell this is#and here we are

System76 Spotlight with Adam Balla
Welcome to the first of an ongoing series where we get to know some of the amazing people behind System76! This week, we kick things off with one of our newest members, Adam Balla (AKA chzbacon), who has just joined the Marketing Team as our Content Producer. Learn what makes his content creation heart go pitter-patter, and why his electric smoker is his must-have cooking appliance.
When did you first become interested in Linux computer systems?
When my roommate introduced me to Slackware in 1999, he was working as a Linux system admin and he really got me interested in Linux. I was going to the Art Institute of Houston at the time for a Multimedia Design degree, and the thought that you could create your own desktop operating system really appealed to me. I didn’t need to stare at the same old tacky operating system I’d used for years.
I found myself, like many nerds of the era, at a Micro Center in the early 2000s rummaging through the discount software bins, trying to snag up multi-CD Linux distributions. This journey exposed me to several of today’s most popular Linux distros. One of those was SUSE Linux 5.3, of which I still keep the tattered book on a bookshelf as a reminder. I did however finally find my place in the world of Debian, which is where I essentially live today. Honestly not much has really changed other than using Pop!_OS as my main distribution—though like any Linux diehard, I still love to download, test, and sometimes install all the Linux.
When did you start becoming a champion for open source hardware and software?
It was a few years after that. Once I got back from the Art Institute and I was working in the area, we needed a server for the screen printing shop that I worked at. Knowing about Linux at that point, I was able to set up a server using consumer-grade gear that we could store all of our artwork and assets on. Moving forward, I set up a server for the newspaper that I worked at for a decade, which I know is still running to this day. After using Linux in that sort of environment and knowing it was good enough for a business, I knew it was good enough for me and my needs.

How did you get involved in content creation as a career?
My father was an engineer. When I was young I was always, like most kids, into drawing cars and doodles and cartoons, but I was used to having a drafting table at the house. Computing came around, and my father bought an IBM 486 and one of the original digitizing tablets, and so I got to play around with that. Eventually, he got upset because I was on the computer more than he was, so he bought me an IBM 386 to use.
Around 1995, my dad learned from a coworker about Photoshop. I begged him to get me a copy, and he finally did for Christmas. That’s when I started playing around in Photoshop and really fell into wanting to create for a living. Similar to what my father does, but maybe not as stringent in the decision that I make—no building is going to fall down from my creative process.
And that’s how I got into the whole content creation piece. I created a cover for the album of my high school bands and then started doing work for more local bands. Back then, there were no digital art courses, so I learned a lot by doing and trial/error.
What is your favorite part of the creative process?
Working together as a team during the initial brainstorming process. Going through all of the ideas and details, sometimes writing them down, sometimes not, and even laughing at myself at how ridiculous an idea may sound. I love the process of the very first step. I love to set the vision for the project work from there to turn that vision into reality.

How did you first learn about System76?
I first learned about System76 through Chris Fisher and Jupiter Broadcasting. I believe they were reviewing the Leopard Extreme in 2012, on what at that time was the Linux Action Show. That’s when I started to look at System 76 and their offerings and wondered if it would be better for me to build my own Linux desktop, or adopt something and support the open source community. It’s been a little while since then, and I’ve always kept my eye on System76. Then with the release of Thelio, that really pushed me to the point of, “Wow, these guys are creating their own beautiful custom chassis and they’re incorporating different materials together. What a beautiful machine.”
I was speaking to my wife (financial advisor) about purchasing one in 2019, and I spoke to Emma and some other people at System76 about my desire for one, and I don’t know how, but Emma encouraged me not to buy one! And then I was given the opportunity to come to System76 for the Superfan event, where I was fortunate enough to be one of a dozen people who were gifted a Thelio desktop. It sits on my desk to this day; I even bought a larger desk just so I could put it up there and see it every day. I really appreciate the humble beginnings of System76, and I’m so glad to finally be a part of this amazing team.
Let's get into that creative brain. What is your favorite viral video and/or ad, and why do you love it so much?
I have a few ads that I like. I’ve always liked Honda’s messaging and their ads.
I like these ads because of the way in which they go through their history and lineage and the way that Honda itself has marketed its products as “People First” products—very similar to when they introduced their motorcycles to the US with their “You meet the nicest people on a Honda,” campaign. I think that was in 1962, so this was during the height of the motorcycle gang craze. Then comes this little Japanese motorcycle company and markets their products in a completely opposite image from the rest of the industry. They dared to be different and it paid off for them. Selling over 100 million Honda Cubs since 1958. Being given the title of most produced motor vehicle in the world.
This may come as a surprise to some, but I also really love the original Orwellian-inspired Macintosh commercial, which only aired once during the 1984 Super Bowl. Created by Steve Hayden, Brent Thomas and Lee Clow. In my opinion, these guys really created disruptive advertising, so much so that the ad still resonates today as much as it did then. While I don’t think you need to incite fear to sell a product, it showed that Apple dared to be different.
I’m not sure what constitutes a viral video these days. I’m not sure if it’s having a billion trillion views or just simply infecting one person who saw your video. One that always gives me a chuckle has to be “News Anchor Laughs At Worst Police Sketch Fail”. The honesty on the anchor's face makes me lose it every time.
When you’re not helping to lead the Open Source revolution, what do you like to do with your free time?
I really like going on walks and taking photos. Photography to me is one of the last honest art forms. What you see really is what you get. I love to tinker and make things, I have a 3D printer that my wife and I purchased as a joint valentine’s gift to each other last year. We started using it right when COVID broke out, so we made around 900 face shields which we distributed to schools, day cares, dentist's offices, anyone who needed one. That’s what we did for about the first 6 months when we first got it. Now, my wife loves to print earrings, for example, and I like to build different fun electronics projects.

I also love to cook, especially for large groups. I just got done with an Easter Weekend + Birthday celebration where we cooked 100 lbs of crawfish, 10 lbs of pork shoulder, sausage, and boudin (which is basically rice and pieces of pork that have been mixed together with seasonings and then put into a casing like sausage). One of my main requirements actually for a place in Denver is somewhere I can bring my electric smoker. It’s a must-have for any Texan.

What are you most excited about with your new role here at System76? To help change the computing landscape as we know it today. Into a future where technology is free and open. A world where you're encouraged to break things, fix things, and learn how they work. Aside from changing the world and stuff, I'm really excited to have a chance to work with such an insanely talented group of people.

Meet the Steve Jobs of the AC repair in Gilroy Industry
™Subject Upkeep Technician Jobs, Employment In Morgan Hill, Ca
As discussed above, plaintiffs' motion to compel is meritorious. They are entitled to production of ESI within the format they requested, with all metadata, and CDE has again failed to provide a proper privilege log. Plaintiffs are due to this fact entitled to their "affordable bills" incurred in making the movement to compel, "including lawyer's fees." Fed. P. 37; see Balla v. Idaho, 677 F.3d 910, 920 (9th Cir. 2012) ("Rule 37 requires the court to award attorneys fees in most circumstances where 'the disclosure or requested discovery is provided after the motion was filed'"). Despite this concession made during negotiations, the courtroom does not find that plaintiffs have thereby waived their right to hunt manufacturing of ESI in native format with all metadata connected. To the opposite, this concession seems to have been a "provisional" one made for negation functions only. At all different occasions, plaintiffs have constantly insisted upon native format, with metadata hooked up, and complained about CDE's failure to produce in that format.
Also, quite than proposing an alternative format to produce ESI, the letter merely declares that CDE has already produced ESI in "load file" format, and asserts that that's adequate. CDE was entitled to ignore plaintiffs' request that ESI be produced in native format with all metadata attached, since it produced it in a "fairly usable" type that didn't "take away or degrade the searchability of the information." ECF Nos. at 6, ECF 277 at 12. CDE timely objected to manufacturing in native format, knowledgeable plaintiffs that it will produce in "load" format, produced samples in that format, after which received no objection from plaintiffs until most of the manufacturing had been completed.
They did not indicate what was the topic of the communication, and instead merely reprinted the subject line of the email. Incredibly, the subject line itself was usually redacted, making it impossible to know what the e-mail was about. Indeed, the log appears to betray CDE's incorrect view that any e mail from or to any lawyer was privileged , no matter who else may have seen it, what it involved, whether or not it was intended to be confidential, and whether the privilege was waived. On August 29, 2016, the courtroom suggested CDE that the privilege log was inadequate. Plaintiffs argue that the privilege logs don't present sufficient info for it or the court to evaluate the assertion of privilege. To the contrary, they argue, the "descriptions" of the withheld documents are at most, simply conclusory statements, that are primarily simply the legal definition of the http://query.nytimes.com/search/sitesearch/?action=click&contentCollection®ion=TopBar&WT.nav=searchWidget&module=SearchSubmit&pgtype=Homepage#/AC repair in Milpitas CA privilege or safety asserted. CDE initially objected to the production of almost any materials, on May 17, 2013, when it filed its initial objections.
Plaintiffs move to compel CDE to produce emails in "native" format with all metadata connected. Defendant additionally seeks a protective order stating that "the burden of producing the requested metadata outweighs any probative worth." Id. at 3. The services are provided “as is,†with no warranties in any respect. All express, implied, and statutory warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, health for a particular objective, and non-infringement of proprietary rights, are expressly disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
1, ECF at 17 ; Joint Statement, ECF No. one hundred forty four at 55 ; Sagy Exh. 7, ECF at 79 (August 22, 2016 Sagy letter, complaining that email attachments are not of their "original" codecs), Exh. plaintiffs, in an August 26, 2016 letter, more than three years after the document request was served. While the letter doesn't even point out metadata, the courtroom construes it to be an objection to plaintiffs' request for manufacturing of ESI in native format with all metadata connected.
On August 26, 2016, CDE wrote to plaintiffs, and for the first time, specifically objected to producing ESI in native format. According to CDE, they have produced ESI "as load information, a standard format accredited by the Special Master on April 7, 2016." Id.; ECF No. at 2-3. CDE argues that " requesting celebration can not demand production in a single format versus one other simply because one would allegedly ease a party's review process." Id. at 89-ninety, citing United States ex rel. smart72 has diagnosed 1000's of residential properties. Their technicians have been trained and geared up with the most recent knowledge of heating, AC, and air flow technology.
From alternative, set up, maintenance, diagnostic, and restore providers, they're the most effective in their area. The staff is highly organized and timely of their services. They perceive the discomfort residents experience when they're facing issues with their air conditioners. However, the court is reluctant to sanction CDE by ordering the manufacturing of probably hundreds of documents containing confidential legal professional consumer, work product and deliberative process info. Accordingly, the court docket is not going to declare a waiver at this point. Instead, the court will grant the movement to produce the paperwork in CDE's privilege logs, and provides CDE 30 days to either produce the paperwork or produce proper privilege logs. This shall be CDE's final probability to supply adequate privilege logs, and any assertions of privilege that are incapable of dedication might be overruled once and for all.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, morganhilltimes.com disclaims any warranties for the security, reliability, timeliness, and performance of the services and products. morganhilltimes.com similarly disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by regulation, any warranties for any data or advice obtained through the products and services. In June, July and August, 2016, CDE produced privilege logs for its e mail productions. https://acrsanjose.com In plain violation of Rule 26, the logs failed to offer even the minimal info plaintiffs and the court would want "to evaluate the declare" of privilege. For example, the logs didn't point out whether or not both the sender or recipient was an legal professional or a consumer.
These had been boilerplate objections, and contained no objection to plaintiffs' request that ESI be produced in native format with all metadata attached. CDE's next claimed objection was in the October 10, 2013 transmittal letter. CDE subsequent claimed objection was in its August 26, 2016 letter. Even if each of those were valid objections (and in fact, not a single certainly one of them incorporates a legitimate objection to format beneath Rule 34), CDE has engaged in an improper sample of piecemeal objections over the course of years.

Apart from the truth that there isn't a objection said within the October 10, 2013 letter, CDE's own subsequent conduct led plaintiffs to a reasonable perception that ESI would be produced in native format with all metadata attached. On March four, 2014, CDE's counsel wrote to plaintiffs' counsel to advise her that CDE is working with its vendor to make sure that requested digital paperwork can be produced "in an organized method." Sagy Exh. The letter goes on to assure plaintiffs' counsel that that effort "won't impede my shopper's ability to provide the documents with metadata intact and of their native format." Id. The following month, on April 30, 2014, the parties agreed, in writing, that "ll documents will be produced with all metadata, if it exists, on CD-ROM disks, through a cloud service, or via different mutually agreeable methods." ECF No. fifty eight at 16 ¶ 14.5. CDE argues now that the letter doesn't mean what it says and that the stipulated order "didn't order a particular format of manufacturing." ECF No. 277 at 9, 15. Even if the court docket had been to simply accept CDE's strained interpretations of those paperwork, plaintiffs would be forgiven for believing that CDE was agreeing to provide ESI in native format with all metadata hooked up.

Notes on Wally
Yeah, I’m just making this post as a sort of guide for a mysterious warframe villain that I’m pretty sure is going to make a move soon-ish in an upcoming update.
Dude has a “I’m helping you to help me” Vibe. I made a similar post before but I figured, hey anyone who plays warframe might find this one wanting some idea of what he is. Plus shits and giggles. So Notes are underneath the cut. It’s more or less a recap.
First thing you need to know. The man in the wall is not an illusion. He’s an intelligent being. That much is certain.
I’ll just go over everything as I know from chronological order. From The war within to now.
The War Within: He wanted us to consume the Kuva. A corrupting Oil that brings madness and evil. So right there is an indicator that he wants you to do things that would not be beneficial to your well-being. One important detail to note is mainly how the Queen’s tried to take over your body. She wanted to corrupt your mind with despair. There’s also the detail that the Zariman 10-0 Massacre, where you were forced to kill your parents when Wally controlled all of the adults on the ship. Rell figured it out that his mother wasn’t his mother anymore....that someone was controlling her. That was the beginning of his carefully calculated plan.
The Sacrifice: This whole hunt for Umbra started because the Lotus gave us the vision of Umbra fighting Ballas. This was done telepathically rather than through transmissions. Why would someone use telepathy rather than their usual transmissions and why would she keep telepathy a secret until now? That makes no sense....Assuming of course, that was the Lotus at all.
Umbra is a warframe with only one memory, being forced to murder his own son, Isaah, made to replay it again and again and again. At the end of the quest, Wally asks if we remember Umbra’s memory the way we do. Confirming it will have him say “Good.” Sounds strange right? Lotus’ sudden telepathy, Wally’s satisfaction at knowing you’ve internalized Umbra’s memory, Plus why would the Lotus show you a warframe to obtain after betraying us? They don’t make sense by themselves but Assume that wasn’t the Lotus but Wally that called you, then it suddenly makes a LOT more sense. Lotus’ whereabouts were merely bait for you to synchronize with Umbra and internalize his memory. The reason? The memory was Umbra being forced to murder his own son. Huh, being forced to murder family was what happened on the Zariman 10-0, right? Huh, that’s weeeeird. Total coincidence, right? Yeah, that has to be a coincidence. Especially if Wally’s involved.
The Chimera Prologue: Wally appears before us wearing Lotus’ helmet. He wants you to follow him. At the end, you find Ballas lamenting his death being stolen from him. He laments how he’s been fooled by Natah. He says to truly end this war, love must die. Meaning we’ll have to kill the Lotus, now reborn as Natah, our former surrogate mother. He gives us the mental blueprint on the Paracesis. It was clear Wally lead us there on purpose. He wanted us to have that sword. Just so we’d be well equipped and aware of what part we’ll have to play in the upcoming quest: the new war.
The bastard’s plan: You’ll noticed I bolded certain phrases throughout this entire post, that’s because I wanted you guys to see the same pattern I saw. Being forced to kill family is something I doubt most people would ever want happen. And Wally was around for a good bit of it. He wants you to be good and traumatized for when he body snatches you. Teshin said the Queen wanted to corrupt your mind with despair until only she remains, nothing says despair like being forced to kill your parents......again. Plus I would think the emotions Umbra felt upon being forced to kill his son was nothing short of despair. He wants to body snatch you and nearly all the pieces are falling into place. He’s trying to push that button again and again until you finally break.
Things I noticed about him though: In the Railjack, there’s a part called a reliquary drive. Inside the reliquary drive, is a giant finger. Yes, your railjack is powered by a giant finger, I wish I was making this up. Wally is very much connected to it since we hear “his” voice when we approach it. Plus when you plug the key into the reliquary drive after completing the war within, you see him waving to you with one finger bent down. Safe to say, that giant finger belongs to him.
Bad news from that revelation: BOI’S FUCKING BIG.
Good news: He has a physical body. If he has a body, he can be killed, assuming his body isn’t already dead. However, even that’s not as simple as that. Otherwise Rell would’ve passed on a LONG time ago. I DID find something interesting though.
This mother fucker is connected to The Duviri Paradox (Well, duh. you see him when you search up the pains of duviri and he’s shown at the end of the trailer). That’s important as fuck because in the Duviri trailer....lies the Zariman 10-0 colony ship.
See how this guy’s arm is clearly robotic in nature? I know, we found a FINGER, not an ARM BUT consider this possibility: in Erra, there was more than one railjack being flown to fight Hunhow. those railjacks’ engines would need to be powered via the reliquary drive. Which would mean more than one finger. I believe, after this guy’s arm was chopped off through unknown circumstances, the Orokin chopped up this guy’s arm to use as a battery for the Railjacks. Dude’s a mysterious character in the void, Check. He’s got a body part that would contain a finger missing, check. Aaaand the Zariman 10-0 is involved. Fucking Check. This guy has got to be the man in the wall.
Possible Weaknesses(?): Rell finally passed on when we terminated his warframe, his then current vessel, AFTER his main body died. This was in the void too. Replicating the circumstances in which Rell finally passed on may help kill Wally for good. Rell died because he no longer had a body to possess. Wally on the other hand, does have a body to possess, albeit, a body he can live without. At first I thought it was dying, but his spirit got stuck in Rell’s warframe for centuries so there must be nothing wrong with it unless there’s some voidy timey wimey stuff going on. I mean, the Operator does age to an adult during the duviri paradox, so anything’s possible. He wants to possess our own body as his own way of escaping. Terminating any vessels he may have in the real world, and in the Duviri area should be the only way to permanently end this piece of shit.
His Vessel in the real world should be either his finger, or the Lotus’ helmet. If I’ve got Wally’s mindset pegged, and I’m pretty damn sure I do, he’d most likely possessed the Lotus’ helmet thinking “If I possess the helmet, it’ll be that much easier to show them the visions I want them to see. Plus, if by chance they figure out I’m possessing this thing, their first instinct will be to destroy this item. But it’s of very high sentimental value to them, so destroying it will be like erasing one of the last traces of mommy dearest and sink them even deeper in despair. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA” (Yes, I did have to add in the evil laugh. It was fucking essential, shut up.) But we’re going to have to have our operators grow up. Grow stronger and become better people from the despair that they face. THat’s the way we fight off Wally.
Oh, and if given the choice......
DO. NOT. PUT. ON. THAT. HELMET.
If Wally IS possessing it, then wearing it would be the worst thing you can do. I am positive he’ll possess you for sure.
Fighting him off does not mean his plans end: Wally carefully calculated this plot in such a way that even if we fight him off, he’ll try again with another Tenno. So, for the sake of ending this piece of shit once and for all, we’ll want his eyes remaining on us.He had everyone kill their parents, he’ll try again with other Tenno even if we foil his plan of possessing us. Going on the offensive seems to be the only option to permanently destroy him.
Like any person ever, Wally is not perfect: He doesn’t appear to have the ability to read minds. I base this off him asking us if remembering us killing Issah was the way we remember it. If he could read minds, he would’ve known that already. Sure, he could’ve done that act just to get closer to us, but if he had such an ability, he could’ve avoided Rell’s seal on him for sure. This brings up a hopeful possibility that is a bit of a stretch.....
The Operator already knows what Wally is doing: I say it’s a stretch because it took me a while to figure it out his plan, but if it’s an act, it’s a pretty damn good one but if I could see what he’s doing, there’s no reason the Operator shouldn’t either. Using their knowledge on the process of how the continuity works from the war within, and the fact that Wally was sealed away with Rell means that he’d want a body in the real world. Plus, you know, he’s an evil malevolent spirit that is sketchy as fuck. The fact he’s after the Operator means that they plan on taking them over next. Just like he did with the adults on the Zariman 10-0. I needed more evidence but with the right way of thinking, it is possible to see his plan coming. Especially if the “Lotus” didn’t use transmissions but telepathy. I could see the Operator faking the internalization of Umbra’s memory just to string him along. Because the Operator knows if Wally is scared off, he’ll just try taking over another Tenno. They know that if they want to stop him for good, they’ll just have to play dumb and wait for the right moment.
Again, this is a bit of a stretch so I’m not entirely convinced on this possibility.
Tl;dr: Read the damn essay you coward. >=3
#Warframe#man in the wall#fuck this is long#like really really really long#0/10 would not write long essays like this again.
