ok so the ship is elphaba/glinda/fiyero/sarima and it’s a soulmate tattoo idea. it starts off at shiz with elphie and glinda realizing they’re soulmates with matching blue diamond cluster tattoos and after some growing pains (and grappling with the fact that elphie only maybe believes in her own soul to begin with) they’re embracing it and happy and “ok so we’re lesbians and that’s that” ... enter fiyero getting attacked by antlers in class and elphie sees Those Tattoos and she’s like “oh shit.” she tries to tell glinda but glinda absolutely doesn’t believe it’s possible until crope introduces fiyero to the charmed circle and glinda’s WHITE KNUCKLING elphaba’s hand like “WE GOTTA TALK” while folks remark on how neat and uhhh Big fiyero’s soulmate tattoo is and he’s like “oh no this isn’t my soulmate tattoo these are decorative” (and glinda exhales.) “but they are the same pattern as my soulmate tattoo which is here” (glinda returns to panic mode)

so there’s like a whole chapter of elphaba and glinda having to talk through their feelings and options and whether they want this and they’re both afraid to say they could be interested, lest it come across as “you aren’t enough for me” so elphaba’s being super standoffish like “honestly he could die and i wouldn’t stop him it would make our lives easier” and glinda’s like “WHAT?? ELPHIE” and it all comes out and they agree to try to at least get to know him and maybe reveal their tattoos to him after careful thought and planning which is all thrown out the window when elphaba just deadpans him in the middle of their first alone conversation like “the 3 of us? we’re soulmates” and fiyero’s SHOOK and he’s like “i can’t believe... the 3 of you...” and elphie and glinda are like “he means the 2 of us... or 3 including him, like ozian’s his second language he just misspoke” and they’re about to Discuss but then the whole squad rolls in and their conversation gets stopped and of COURSE as fate would have it, someone mentions relationships and marriage and fiyero is asked and he says “yeah i’m married.”

OH?? already married??? yeah the reason they marry so young in the vinkus is that they can identify soulmate tattoos in childhood and just preemptively arrange marriage. (listen the au FITS okay??)

so sarima has fiyero’s soulmate tattoo.... but so do glinda and elphaba.... 

and the wild ride ensues from there.
